1.Introduction

  Hello,I am Electrosho,and I wrote this guide.This guide is meant
to help you with the bosses in this game.THERE IS SOME SPOILERS IN
THIS GUIDE!If you do not want to see spoilers,please do not read
this guide.If you look at my TOC,you may see that this guide is  21
sections long.You might say WTF,a 21-chapter Boss FAQ!?!,but do not
worry,each section is for one boss.That is why this FAQ may seem very
long.I made seperate sections for each fight with a boss,even though you
may fight one boss more then once.I did this because the bosses change
depending on which battle you are on.Please note that I do not day how to
find a boss or anything like that.Please figure that out by reading a
different FAQ.Thank you and good luck with this game.

2.Moritoshi Hoe Goblin(1st Fight)

 Moritoshi Hoe Goblin is your first boss you fight,and as you
might expect,he is easy.Since he is so easy,it is easy to just kill him
in a couple of combos.However,instead of killing him quickly,try using
your Kamui.Not only will you damage him a lot when it hits,it will
also allow you to get a item that can be used to make a item.Hitting
the Hoe Goblin with your Kamui will get you a Hoe Goblin's Gauntlet.
If you mistime your Kamui,kill the Heishi Samurai that come out to increase
your Kamui.
 Moritoshi Hoe Goblin has two attacks.The first one is a series of
short piercing jabs.These attacks do not harm you much,but they may get
annoying after a while.His second attack is more powerful,and it is a 
unblockable lunging attack.However,you can tell when he is going to use
this move,because you will see glowing yellow light from his body.When you
see this,get ready to dodge.

3.Benkei Musashibo

 Benkei Musashibo is...hard...well,actually easy if you've leveled up
and trained enough.If he's too hard,you may want to consider training
Yoshitsune up a bit.Using Kamui on Benkei won't get you any special
items,but it will take a huge chunk of hp out of him.Benkei counterattacks
a lot,so after you hit him with a 3-4 combo,back away from him.
 Benkei Musashibo three moves.His first one is a move where he swings
his weapon around in a wide arc.You can tell that he will use this move
because his weapon will glow yellow.His second move is a deadly lunge.
His club will glow blue before he uses this move,so remember to dodge
when you see his weapon glowing.His third move is to use a quick and 
succesive combo.These are a bit hard to dodge,but they can be blocked.

4.Nue

 Nue is a fierce and vicious creature,but he isn't that hard.It may
take a couple of tries,but once you get how he attacks,you will be
able to beat him easily.Using Kamui on Nue will net you a special
item called Nue's Claw.Although you will have the ability to use Double
Kamui in this battle,do not use it because Double Kamui against Nue
has the same effect as a a Single Kamui.After Nue attacks,you will
always have a couple of seconds to hit him.Don't risk more then four
hits,or you will be hit by a counterattack.
 Nue has three attacks that he will use to attempt to kill you.As you
can probably tell when you look at him,he has razor sharp claws.He
can use those to attack you if you get within reach.He will only slash
you with his claws if you are to the back or front of him.A good idea
is to attack him from the side.However,if you do this,he will use his
lunging move.You can tell that he will use his lunging move because he
will glow and yellow smoke will rise from his body.When this happens,run
to his left or right to defend yourself.If Nue rears up onto his back
legs,he will shoot fire from his mouth.While he is shooting fire,go
behind him and you can get a couple of hits in.

5.Moritoshi Hoe Goblin(2nd Fight)

 Moritoshi Hoe Goblin hasn't learned any new moves,but they may seem a
bit diffent.You may wan to consider putting on a Charm of Lightning 
because he is now imbued with lightning properties.Equipping the charm
will give you resistance to lightning attacks,and you will have a lower
chance of getting paralyzed.Using Kamui on Hoe Goblin will again net you
a item.The item you will get is the Steel Gauntlet.Press the square button
right when he starts his lunge.This may take a couple of tries to get the
timing right.
 Hoe Goblin still has three moves.His first move is the same as last time,
he will attempt to stab you with a series of lunging stabs.His second
attack is his running lunge.However,this time there is no yellow energy to
tell you when he will use it.However,he will crouch down,so you can tell
by that.His third move is another lunge,but this one is very powerful,and
is enough to take out a chunk of your hp.When you see purple wisps of energy
on the end of his spear,I would get ready to dodge.

6.Kagekiyo Taira(1st Fight)

 Kagekiyo is strong enough to knock you down to the ground in one strike.
He is strong.I mean it,he is STRONG.I wish I could use this guy as my
character =P.Anyways,you get to choose whether to use Benkei or Yoshitsune
for this battle.Since experience is same for both characters,I would
stick with the one that you are most comfortable with and the one that
you used more Amahagane on.If you can't beat him after 1000 tries,I would
buy a Talisman of Ressurection,or a couple of healing items.Using Kamui on
Kagekiyo is very,very hard.However if you do manage to pull it off,you will
take off a huge chunk of his life meter.Press the square button just as
Kagekiyo is about to swing his sword.Kagekiyo also is a genius at blocking
and dodging your attacks.If he keeps blocking from one angle,move to a 
different angle quickly and attack him from there.Do your best to dodge his
moves and then after he does a move,go in for a combo.If you paralyze
Kagekiyo,you can get a couple of hits in before he recovers.Keep dodging
and attacking and Kagekiyo will go down eventually.

7.Tathagata

 Tathagata is not easy,but he is easier then Kagekiyo.Kagekiyo has the 
ability to transport to another area of the field,so he is a difficult
target to hit.The fastest way to kill Tathagata is to block his moves,
go in for a round of hits when you see a opening,and then quickly retreat
before he can launch a counterattack.
 Tathagata has two moves.His first one is to stab you with a barrage of ice
crystals that will stab you from the floor.When you see glowing patches of
blue on the floor,make sure Yoshitsune is not on one of them.He will activate
three patches of ice at a time,so be careful.His other move is to attack you
with his two swords.You can block or dodge this move,so this move is nothing
to worry about.

8.Yatagarasu

 Yatagaratsu is a tough customer...he has a Amahagane jewel in the center
of its chest,and you're going to need to kill it if you want it.If you hear
hear the Yatagarasu let out a feral scream,it means that it's going to pounce
on you,so you have a couple of seconds to jump up onto a column.Using Kamui
on the Yatagarasu will get you an item called Feather of Yatagarasu.He will
fly up and use a rush attack at you.Press the square button at the last
second to hit him and score big damage.
 Yatagarasu has three moves.His first attack is to shoot piercing quills at
Yoshitsune.Use the broken columns as cover,and hold the block button until
he stops shooting.If you this correctly,you won't get damaged.It's second
attack is to shoot a stream of fire at you.Again,use the broken columns as
cover.Yatagarasu's third attack is to fly up into the air and then dive into
the ground,which creates a huge shockwave.To dodge this,jump onto one of the
pillars.As soon as Yatagarasu touches the ground and stops moving,you should
move in and attempt to do as much damage as possible.

9.Asura

 Asura wields a flaming sword,and he'll use it to kill you.Attacking Asura
four times in a row will cause it to go down on its knee.This is the time
to deal damage to Asura.You can do as much as twelve hits to it when it is
down.Use Kamui to deal a lot of damage.Using Kamui on Asura will not give you
any items,however,it will still deal a lot of damage.Once you activate Kamui,
Asura will go down on its knee.He will stand up and lunge at you.You must press
the square button right when he swings his sword.
 Asura has two moves.He can attack you with his flaming sword.It is possible
to block this move,however,it will still damage you a bit.His second move is
to strike the ground with his sword to ignite a large area with an explosion.
You can't block this move,so run away.The explosion is large,but it's not
large enough to hit you if you start running quickly.

10.Stone Temple Iwayashiro

 Stone Temple Iwayashiro is pretty hard.Luckily for you,you probably have the
Talisman of Ressurection that Asura left behind.With that,it won't be too hard
beat him.It will take a while to beat Iwayashiro,since he has a lot of hp,and 
it's hard to get hits on him.You can use Kamui on Iwayashiro for a item called
Piece of Divine Stone.You can only use Kamui once Iwayashiro's legs have
fallen off.As soon as you activate,a pod will swoop down in an attempt to 
knock Benkei down.Press square just as the pod is about to hit you.
 Iwayashiro will attempt to crush you with his gigantic legs,so keep moving.
Your targets are actually Iwayashiro's legs.Once all four have fallen,you will
be able to hit the temple itself.You can attack a leg four times before it
starts to glow purple.When that happens,move away and go for a different leg.
The purple leg will start to be covered in lightning,and if you get hit by it,
you have a small chance of getting paralyzed,so stay away.When a leg falls off,
you will probably be surrounded by a purple triangle.You will get shot at by a
pod,so stay moving.Just keep moving around,and eventually,the triangle and the
pod will disappear.

11.Yoshitsune

 Yoshitsune is impossible to hit...unless you use Kamui.You have to use Kamui
three times to kill him.When you activate your Kamui,Yoshitsune will go on
the offensive and he will attempt to attack you.Each time you use Kamui,the
timing's different.The first time you use Kamui,press the square button pretty
early,almost right when he starts his rush attack at you.The second time,you
should press the square button right as Yoshitsune flips in the air.The third
time is the hardest.It is two parts.For the first part,press the square button
just as Yoshitsune comes running over to you.For the second part,you have to be
patient and wait for him to get close to you.When you have the chance,quickly
press the square button to kill Yoshitsune.A good way to kill Yoshitsune easily
is to keep using Triple or Quadruple Kamui,since your Kamui Gauge refills at a
accelerated rate.Also,since your twin won't attack unless you use Kamui,you
can just wait there until your Kamui Gauge becomes full.

12.Benkei

 As with Yoshitsune,Benkei is impossible to hit unless you use Kamui.Also,just
like Yoshitsune,you have to use Kamui succesfully three times.The first time,
press it right when Benkei aims his spear at you.The second time,press the
square button right when Benkei begins his diving jump.The third time is the
hardest.Press the square button when Benkei pulls his weapon back and prepares
for a strike.Remember,just like in Yoshitsune's battle,your Kamui Gauge will
refill faster in this battle.Use Triple or Quadruple Kamui whenever you can,
and just like in Yoshitsune's battle,your twin won't attack you unless you use
Kamui,so just wait there until your Kamui fills up.

13.Kagekiyo Taira(2nd Fight)

 Kagekiyo will give you a choice of which Genji will fight him.Remember to use
the one that you are comfortable with,and the one with more Amahagane used on,
since experience is the same for both characters.Kagekiyo is fast,and agile.
He'll constantly dodge,and jump out of your attack range.He can take out a
chunk of your hp without you noticing.Also,he is immune to Kamui,so don't even
bother using it on him.Kagekiyo's sword has poisonous properties,so you may
want to consider putting on a item such as a Charm of Poison.
 If you see Kagekiyo spin his spear around,it means that he is going to shoot
a wave of energy.As soon as you see him do this,quickly hop onto one of the
lanterns to dodge the attack.It is possible to block or parry most of his
combos,so block or parry until you see a opening.Once you see a opening,try to
get a couple of hits in.Once you get a couple of hits in,run away,or start
blocking again,because he'll do a counterattack.

NOTE:beatchef saids that it's possible to use Kamui on him. I copied what he
said and pasted it here.
If you didn't already know, on the second time you
fight the "long black hair dude" you can triple Kamui to do some major damage
to him. The other faqs say he's immune to Kamui but if you use the newly
aquired skill of True Kamui you can tw@ him.

I think you can still get a [] action on a double one, but it's very very
quick.Three is preferable.

14.Raiju

 Raiju is like Nue,but he's more powerful and has more hp.Using Kamui on Raiju
will give you a item,just like with Nue.The item you get is a Claw of Raiju.
Raiju has lightning powers,so equip a item such as the Bracelet of Man.Raiju
is best attacked from the sides,where it can counterattack the least.After
doing some damage,step away from Raiju to avoid his counterattack.
 Raiju has four moves.His first move is to swipe at you with its razor sharp
claws.The only way to avoid this is to be behind it,or to move out of its
range.Raiju's second move is to shoot electricity from its mouth.Stay on the
sides or behind the beast to avoid this attack.You may get paralyzed from this
move if you get hit.Like Nue,Raiju has the ability to lunge at you.It will emit
yellow smoke when it is about to lunge at you.Keep moving to avoid this move.
Raiju's last move is to slam into the ground,and to send two bolts of lightning
to the side of where it landed.Before it does this move,it'll rear up onto its
hind legs,to so prepare to dodge when you see this.

15.Kuyo

 Kuyo may seem impossible to hit at first,but she actually isn't.There are two
ways to harm her.The first way is to attack her when she raises her hand,or
envelops herself in bubbles.When she does either of these,that means that she
is preparing to cast a spell.It is possible to attack her while she is doing
this.The second way is to attack the Giant until it gets on its knee,and then
attacking Kuyo.While the Giant is on his knee,Kuyo will appear and Kuyo will
heal the Giant.While she is healing the Giant,it is possible to attack Kuyo.
However,be prepared,because the moment that the Giant is healed,he will stand
up and will do a move at you.Using Kamui against Kuyo has two parts,and it is
possible to get two items.During the first part,the Giant will shoot a bunch of
missles at you.You must press square to deflect the missle back at him.After
you do that,Kuyo will come up behind you and she will do a move at you.You
must quickly turn around and face her before she attacks,or you will not be
able to use Kamui succesfully.The item you get are the items Crystal Ball and
Giant Evil Bone.
 The Giant has three moves.His first move is to slam the ground with his fists,
which will cause huge spikes to come out of the ground.Beware of these,because
there is no way to tell where the spikes will come out,so keep moving.Also,do
not run into one of these spikes,because that will still damage you.The Giant
will also shoot a bunch of missles at you.Block,or avoid these,because they do
a fair amount of damage to you.The Giant's third attack is to crush the ground
with a body slam.When you see the Giant glow red,run away quickly!

16.Moritoshi Hoe Goblin(3rd Fight)

 Hoe Goblin has been defeated twice,and he isn't happy about that.He has gotten
a lot of power from the dark magic of the Heishi.Once again,it is possible to
use Kamui on Hoe Goblin to get a item.The item you get is the Cursed Gauntlet.
Since Hoe Goblin has gotten extra power,you may want to consider getting some
extra power as well by using an item such as a Potion of Power.
 Hoe Goblin has three moves.His first move is to swing his spear in a wide arc.
He will use this move if you get too close to him.Hoe Goblin will also use a 
lunge attack at you that will send you flying across the floor.If you are
Yoshitsune,you can dodge this move by jumping over Hoe Goblin.Hoe Goblin's
third move is to charge up his dark energy,and to release it through his spear.
When he uses this move,he does it with such force that causes boulders to fall
from the ceiling.Either dodge the boulders or block them.While Hoe Goblin is
charging this move,he can be hit,so attack him while he is charging up.

17.Lord Kiyomori Taira

 Kiyomori is too old to actually fight you,so he will let his Amahagane do all
the work for him.He has a shield around him which you will need to break before
you can attack Kiyomori.Attack Kiyomori's shield while moving and dodging his
moves.He will use ice,fire, and lightning based moves at you.The ice move can
be easily dodged because you will see blue patches of ice on the ground before
a huge ice crystal comes out of the ground.The fire move should be blocked or
dodged.If you are going to dodge it,you must keep moving away from it,and it
will eventually disappear.You can also tell when Kiyomori will use his
lightning attack because some purple sparks will glow above you.Move out of the
way so you don't get hit.Kiyomori will also shoot a huge gust of wind.This wind
will not damage you,but it will send you flying back.This will get annoying
after a while because you can't dodge this move.Kiyomori will also shoot laser
beams at you.You can't tell when he will use this,and since this laser is so
fast,you must keep moving to avoid it.Another one of Kiyomori's moves is to
surround you with a force field that will get smaller and smaller.To dodge this
move,jump out of the circle before it crushes you.Kiyomori can also shoot a
bunch of missles that will home in on Yoshitsune.Either block or dodge these.
Kiyomori's last move is to shoot up a ice crystal from the ground.He will use
this move when his health begins to decline.He will shoot up the crystal around
the area that you are attacking,so if you see one of these shoot up,move to a
different spot and keep attacking.Using Kamui against Kiyomori won't do
anything,so don't even bother using it.

18.Kagekiyo Taira(3rd Fight)

 This is your final boss battle,and it's not going to be easy.First of all,if
you lost a lot of health from Kiyomori,you will have to heal,because your
health didn't heal between the fights.Kagekiyo is super fast,so after landing
one or two hits on him,he will disappear.If Kagekiyo disappears,keep moving,
because he may strike at you with a downward slash from above.Kagekiyo will
lunge at you with his weapon.Dodge this move and counter with your own move.
If you see Kagekiyo crouch into a ball,leap away before he can expand a sphere
of dark magic around him.If you see Kagekiyo fly up to his perch in the back,
quickly move under a golden leaf so you don't get hit by a projectile.Kagekiyo
will resort to filling the area with a poisonous mist.When you see him touch
the ground with his fist,quickly jump up onto one of the golden leaves and
continue fighting Kagekiyo from up there.The mist will eventually disappear.
Using Kamui against Kagekiyo won't get you any special items,but it will take
off a huge chunk of his hp.Even if you use Quadruple Kamui,the timing will be
hard,but keep trying.
