This FAQ is guaranteed to make your stomach churn. A phrase here
which simply means close the window, shut down the computer or 
throw it into Lachrymose Lake before you encounter the terrible
events that occured within the Baudelaire's unfortunate lives.
Every account of their PS2 game is covered in this guide. From
their intelligent inventions to the cunning criminals. I urge you
to stop scrolling down the page and to not read this terrible FAQ,
because it contains no happy beginning, no happy end, and hardly
any happy events occur in the middle. Please take your copy of the
game into your garden, build a bonfire and ritualistically burn it
before it's tool late. You have been warned...

If you have not turned your computer off yet, you must be brave enough
to learn more about this terrible game... The Baulderlaires lifes are 
terribly unfortunate (A phrase here which means worse than eating cold
cucumber soup in a freezing house balancing precariously on the side of
a cliff next to a lake) so, the events that take place in this game are
the opposite of anything else you have ever played. After their mansion
is mysteriously burnt down, along with their parents, the Baudelaire 
orphans are sent to live with their despicable uncle Count Olaf, who will
stop at nothing to get his dirty, greedy hands on the Baudelaire fortune.
The orphans will have to team up and combine their efforts to escape the
clutches of Count Olaf and defeat him once and for all!

Memories - Memories are Gold Lockets that are found throughout the game. They
           contain pictures of the Baudelaire parents and they increase the
	   the Baudelaire Orphans' health.

Puzzle Pieces - Collecting these unlocks clues in the "Secret File" that help
	        you find hidden rooms throughout the game. There are five 
		different colours and finding 25 of a certain colour unlocks a 
		new clue.

VFD Packages  - These packages are found throughout the game in hidden rooms, 
		use the clues in the "Secret File" to find the rooms. Each 
		package unlocks a new photo or clip from the movie "A series 
		of Unfortunate Events."

Breakables   - Throughout the game, there are many breakable objects. Puzzle 
	       pieces and Memories can be found. 

Moveables    - Some crates, stones, pots and other objects can be pushed to 
	       find clear new paths or solve puzzles.

VIOLET BAUDELAIRE

Violet is the oldest Baudelaire sibling and the finest 14-year-old inventors
in the world. When she has her hair tied up with a ribbon, it is to keep it
out of her eyes which means she is thinking about pulleys, levers, gears, 
bolts and all different things that she could use to invent something that 
would get her siblings out of trouble.


KLAUS BAUDELAIRE

Klaus is the second oldest Baudelaire sibling and has read more books by the 
age of twelve than most people will read in their entire lives. He is very 
skilled in solving puzzles and deciphering clues.


SUNNY BAUDELAIRE

Sunny is the youngest Baudelaire sibling and is small enough to crawl through 
tight which the other two Baudelaires could not. Sunny likes biting things, 
which is a useful skill when faced with a challenge or danger.


COUNT OLAF

Count Olaf is a terrible villain and is absolutely hopeless at acting. He will 
stop at nothing to get his hands on the Baudelaire fortune.


MR. POE

Mr. Poe who is in charge of the Baudelaire's affairs is a very nice, 
kind-hearted man, a phrase here wich means "Totally useless and unhelpful"


UNCLE MONTY

Also knows as Dr. Montgomery Montgomery is a famous snake expert. And is the 
guardian of the Baudelaire orphans until a rather unfortunate event happens to 
him.

-- Part One - Count Olaf's House --
-----------------------------------

THE ORPHANS' BEDROOM
--------------------
- First of all, you beging the game in "The Orphans' Bedroom," where you will 
  be asked to switch to Klaus by pressing the TRIANGLE button.

- Then, you will be asked to walk to the left side of the crate. Hold circle, 
  then push the crate forward until it can go no furthur.

- Press X and forward to jump on top of the crate, take the Boxing Glove using 
  the CIRCLE button.

- Exit into the West Hallway using the door just behind you by pushing the 
  CIRCLE button


THE WEST HALLWAY
----------------
- Immediately to your right, you will see a long, curved window seat. Approach
  it and you will see the SPRING. Stand next to it and use the CIRCLE button 
  to take it.

- Turn around and go forward. You will see a "Memory" (see the "Other 
  Information" part of this FAQ). When you approach it, a small cutscene will
  play, when it finishes look immediately to your left and you will see a 
  Coffee Can sitting on a table, use the CIRCLE button to take it.

- Once you take this, do a 180' turn and you will see a boarded up door, go up
  to it and press CIRCLE. A small cutscene will play.

- When the cutscene finishes, you will find yourself facing a wall with a 
  small ventilation shaft near the floor. Approach the vent and press CIRCLE. 

- Sunny will crawl into the vent.

- Use the X button to jump over the obstacles as you slide towards them. 
  Eventually you will finish and a video will play.

- Now, you will again find yourself as Sunny. Walk along the shelf until you 
  reach a pipe blocking your way. Press CIRCLE repeatedly to bite through it. 
  When Sunny has bitten clear through it walk furthur along the shelf and you
  will find another pipe. Bite through it and continue walking along the shelf
  until you reach a box.

- When you reach the box, stand beside it and hold circle, then hold left on 
  the left analogue stick until Sunny pushes the box into the gap. Walk along
  until you reach the plank of wood that is blocking the door. Get Sunny to 
  bite through it by pressing the CIRCLE button repeatedly.

- After you do this, you will find yourself as Violet. Walk into the room 
  directly in front of you and a small cutscene will play about the Jigsaw 
  piece. Take the Jigsaw piece then look forward. You should see a broom. 
  Approach it and press CIRCLE to take it.

- Now you have all the pieces of make the BRILLIANT BOPPER INVENTION. Press 
  the following buttons to build the invention.
	- Right
        - X
	- Left
	- X
	- Left
	- X

- Now the invention is completed, press X to continue.

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- When you leave the room, turn right and a small cutscene will come on
  about a rat. When this scene finishes, you will have to kill all of the
  rats with the brilliants bopper. Press SQUARE to kill it. When you have 
  finished this go through the door that takes you to the East Hallway.

- Kill all the rats that are in the East Hallway. Then go 
  through the door that takes you into the Main Room.

- Walk down the stairs and you will encounter a puzzle piece. A small
  cutscene will begin.

- When it finishes, continue down the stairs and you will see lots of
  rats, you will need to kill them all. Go through the door that takes
  you into the kitchen.

- Kill all of the rats inside of the kitchen. A small cutsccene will
  begin.

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- You will need to start collecting items to build the FRUIT FLINGER.

- Go up the stairs and look to your left. You will see a stack of boxes
  with a fan on them and, further along, a stack of two boxes. Destroy
  the bottoms one and the top one will fall to the ground. Push it along
  until it is next to the stack with the fan on. Climb up and take the
  fan.

- Go up the next set of stairs and enter the East Hallway. Now, this is
  your first boss. To defeat him, you need to follow him along the hall
  whilst dodging the barrels he throws. You can either run around the 
  barrels, jump over them or use the archways by the wall as cover.
  When he runs out of places to run, hit him with the Brilliant Bopper
  and a cutscene will begin.

- When the cutscene finishes, turn around a go back along the hallway
  and on your right shall be a bookcase. Push it out of the way and
  enter the secret room. Take the Pool Toy that is in this room.

- Exit the room and look against the wall north-east of where you
  came from. There should be a small shelf with a Funnel on it.
  Take the Funnel.

- Go through the door that takes you to the Main room and go down both
  sets of stairs and enter the Kitchen.

- Here is another Boss. He will throw three globs of spaghetti and take
  a break. You need to hit him with the Bopper then run away and wait for
  him to throw the next three loads of spaghetti. You need to do this a
  total of six times to beat him. It is best to run in a semi-circle to 
  avoid his globs of spaghetti.

- When he finally loses a cutscene will begin, when it finishes take the 
  Large Fork that is on the floor. Now you can build the FRUIT FLINGER.
  Press the following button combinations to build it.
	- Right
	- X
	- Left
	- X
	- Up
	- X

- Now you finally have a shooting weapon, press X to continue.

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Go back through the door into the main room and a cutscene will begin,
  and when it finishes you will have to defeat the Giant Spider.

- First of all, you must Hold R1 to aim the Fruit Flinger at the Spider,
  then press SQUARE to aim a piece of Rotten Fruit at it. It will come
  down and be extremely annoyed. You must dodge its' spider webs and hit
  it with the Fruit Flinger when it stops. It will only fire two spider
  webs at you but each time you hit it, the number of webs it fires
  increases by one. You have to hit it five times to win.

-- Part Two - Justice Strauss' Library --
-----------------------------------------

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- For this next part, you have to collect a book from different parts of
  the library and return it to its correct destination. The picture inside
  the book is also above where you have to place the book. You have a set
  time to do it in so be quick. I have listed where to find each book, 
  how much time you have to return it and the directions to get there.


THE GLORIOUS GARDEN
-------------------
You can find this book on the small table near the big white armchair
on the bottom floor.
You have 20 seconds.

There is an archway on the first floor surrounded by plants, put the book
inside this archway.


THE AMAZING ATHLETE
-------------------
This book can be found on a chair, on the bottom floor near the elevator.
You have 30 seconds.

Go to the other side of the library and climb up the scaffholding. Follow
the passageway and jump over both of the gaps. The place where you have to
put the book is on directly ahead after you jump the second gap.


THE SPLENDID STEGOSAURAS
------------------------
This book is located on the table in the middle of a rug on the bottom floor.
You have 20 seconds.

Go up the elevator on the bottom floor that takes you to the first floor up.
Go along the passage way and jump over the gap, take the next elevator to
the second floor up. Follow the passageway and you will see a board that has
been placed on the floor to stop people falling. It is on the wall above
this board.


THE TALENTED TOURIST
--------------------
It is on the small table near the scaffholding.
You have 30 seconds.

Go up the scaffholding and jump over the two gaps. Follow the passageway 
around and go up the stairs. It's in the alcove next to the elevator that
takes you to the second floor up.


THE PLEASANT PAINTING
---------------------
It's on the second floor near the where you put Talented Tourist book.
You have 30 seconds.

Follow the passageway around and jump onto the chandeleir. Jump onto
the next walkway and follow it around. Jump over the next gap and
place the book in it's proper place.


THE MAJESTIC MOON
-----------------
It's on the first floor up near the elevator that takes you to the second
floor.
You have 20 seconds.

Simply jump over the bannister and place the book in the alcove opposite of
where you put The Glorious Garden book.


- Now you have put all the books in their correct places, you have to build
  a new invention, "The Baby Booster."

- Look directly ahead of your current position on the ground floor and you
  will see a yellow fire extinguisher attached to the corner of the wall 
  between two bookcases. Take it.

- Near the elevator on the ground floor is an empty bookcase. Take the 
  bookstrap that is on it.

- Go to the White Arm Chair on the ground floor of the library and take
  the pull cord that is on the lamp next to the chair.

- Now you have all of the pieces for the invention, do the button
  combinations below.
	- Right
	- X
	- Right
	- Right
	- X

- Finished. Now press X to continue.

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Go to the rug with the table in the centre on the ground floor. Look right
  you will see a bookshelf with a hole on the bottom. Switch to Violet and
  put Sunny in this hole.


AS SUNNY

- Walk right and jump up to the next platform. Walk along then push the can
  until it drops. Jump along and continue along the passage. Dodge the
  three swinging planks.

- Jump onto the spring platform and jump onto the bottom floor. Bite through
  the pipe and push the can until it drops.

- Go back onto the spring platform and go to the next floor. Jump along until
  you reach the vent. Go through it.

AS VIOLET

- Go through the door to exit Justice Strauss' house.


-----------------------------------------
 Part Three - Back to Count Olaf's House
-----------------------------------------

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- You will need to start building the Steady Stilts invention.

- look immediately to your left and you will see a pair of snow shoes on top
  of a barrel, take them. Exit into the Main Room using the door behind you.

- Turn right and approach the piano. A small cut scene will begin. When it 
  ends approach the piano and press CIRCLE (0).

- Press the desired button as it reaches the colour square.

- If you miss a note 5 times you will fail and you'll have to start over. You 
  will need to complete 3 round to finish.

- When the piano finally falls apart take the piano wire the go up the stairs 
  to yor left and continue up, go through the door that leads into the East
  Hallway by pressing CIRCLE (O).

- Go Right and follow the hallway round to the left. Watch out for crazy woman
  with the fire extinguisher. Dodge the steam and hit her with the fruit 
  flinger. Go to the end of the hallway and collect the telescope tripod.

- Now you can build the invention.
	- DOWN
	- X
	- DOWN
	- X
	- RIGHT
	- X

- Press X to continue.

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Go back along the hallway and turn right. Go through the door halfway down
  the hallway that takes you into The Main Room. Go down both sets of stairs 
  and enter The Kitchen.

- Approach the door with the Eye symbol in the middle. Press L1 to use the 
  Steady Stilts. To the left of the door is a switch, stand in front of it and 
  press CIRCLE (O) to press it. Go through the now open door, go to the end of 
  the room and press CIRCLE (O) to enter the Cellar.

- Extend the Stilts using the L1 button and walk through the green sludge. 
  Watch out for the steam that comes from pipes along the passage.

- When you make it across, approach the red valve and press CIRCLE (O) to use 
  it Press TRIANGLE to change to Klaus. 

- As Klaus, proceed down the hallway, you can either dodge or kill the rats. 
  It doesn't really matter. When you reach Violet, go down the next tunnel, 
  you don't have to kill those rats either.

- When you reach the end of the hall, turn the next Red Valve using the CIRCLE
  (O) button. Change to Violet isomg the TRIANGLE button and proceed along the
  passageway using the stilts.

- Directly ahead of you should be a large pipe, approach it and press CIRCLE
  (O) to put Sunny into it.

AS SUNNY

- Proceed right. Jump onto the drain cover that is pushed up with steam. Go up
  to level 2 and proceed through the steam, take care not to get blasted by it.
  Proceed right and bite through the copper pipe. Jump down onto the drain
  cover and bite through the pipe. Press X to jump and thehn press SQUARE in
  mid-air to do a body-slam onto the rat. When you have done this, jump up 
  onto pipe end. Wait for the stream of slime to end, then jump onto the next. 
  Repeat this process three times until you're on the top. Bite through the 
  copper pipe and body-slam the next rat. Go under the pipe platform. Jump up
  and go back. Push the box onto the steam to block it. Go back under the pipe 
  platform, jump onto the box and continue right. Wait for the steam to stop, 
  jump onto the drain and go to the top level, then body-slam the rat. Jump 
  down the staggered platforms and push the box over the steam. Go back up the
  platforms and go to the bottom level. Continue right and bite through
  the two pipes. Jump up the staggered platforms, but take cares to watch out
  for the steam. Get to the top level, proceed right and bite through the pipe.
  approach the pipe and press CIRCLE to enter. Body-slam the rat on the other 
  side. Then push the box of tomatos over the side.

AS VIOLET
- Collect the tin pf tomatos that are on the floor. The turn 180 degrees and 
  collect the piece of garlic on the floor. Then turn the Red Valve that is 
  next to you, change character to Klaus using the TRIANGLE button. Go back 
  through the rat filled tunnel.

- When you reach the next room, look in the little alcove and collect the 
  Anchovies. Then you will need to go through the next rat-filled tunnel back 
  to where you started.

- When you reach the end, look to your left, there should be a pile of boxes 
  with the Noodles on top. Take them. Then press TRIANGLE to switch to Violet.

- Extend the stilts and go through the slime-filled tunnel. Again, watch out 
  for the steam. When you reach the end, put your stilts away and turn left. 
  There should be a jar of Olives on the shelf. Take them. A small cutscene 
  will begin.

-- Part Four - Escape from Count Olaf's House --
------------------------------------------------

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Go right and stop by the large window. Wait for the fat man to turn around 
  then attack him with the Brilliant Bopper. Just around the corner is two 
  shutters. Wait for the first one to shut then quickly run across. Wait for 
  the second one to close then run across again. Go around the corner and you 
  will meet another shutter, wait for it to close then run past. There will 
  now be a skinny man walking backwards and forwards, wait till he turns away
  then attack him. Wait for the next fat man to turn away then run up to him
  and attack him with the brilliant bopper from behind. Go into the elevator
  that is just ahead and press the CIRCLE button to proceed to the next floor.

- Go left and you will immediately meet a shutter. Wait for it to close then 
  run across. Do this same process with the two a little bit further on. Just 
  around the corner will be a skinny man patrolling. Wait till he turns away 
  and attack him. Just around the corner will be two shutters. Dodge them and 
  carry on. Around the next corner will be another shutter. Wait for it to 
  close and carry on. There will be one last fat man around the corner. Hit 
  him when he turns away then go into the elevator. Press the CIRCLE (O) 
  button to operate it.

- Go left and approach the window then press the CIRCLE (O) button to enter.
  A small cutscene will tell you that you now have a skeleton key which will 
  allow you to open all of the treasure chests in the house. When the cutscene 
  finishes, go to the first treasure chest on your right and collect the key 
  from behind it. Then approach the safe behind you. Press CIRCLE to open it.

- Open the two treasure chests in the room to collect any Jigsaw Puzzle pieces
  you need and exit the room using the trapdoor to the right of the bed that 
  leads into The Dining Room.

- You now need to collect items to build a contraption that will destroy the 
  hatch in the fireplace.

- Exit the room using the big white door that takes you into the main room. 
  Look immediately to your left and you will see a rope hanging down. Take 
  it. Next you need to go through the door that takes you into The Parlor. 
  This is a boss, the two ugly women.

- The two women will be spinning around and eventually stop. A spotlight will
  shine on one and the other will fire purple clouds at you, you need to shoot 
  the one in the spotlight with your Fruit Flinger. You will need to do this 
  seven times to finish.

- When the two women finally lose, a cutscene will interfere with the game. 
  When it finishes you will need to walk to the centre of the room and turn 
  right. Walk up to the statue of Count Olaf and use the TRIANGLE button to 
  switch to Klaus. Hit the statue with the Brilliant Bopper. Then take the 
  Bowling Ball.

- When you have done this, exit through the door that takes you into The Main
  Room. Then go back through the door that takes you into The Dining Room. 
  From here, go straight ahead and take the firewood that is next to the 
  fireplace.

- Now walk to the opposite side of the room and jump up onto the dresser. Then
  press CIRCLE to put the piece of rope on the hook. Jump back down and walk a
  little to your right, there should be a bowl. Approach it and press CIRCLE 
  to put the bowling ball in it. Now walk towards the door that leads to The
  Main Room but don't go through it. Switch to Violet using the TRIANGLE 
  button and put Sunny in the ventilation shaft on the floor. A long cutscene
  will begin. 

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Walk forward and press CIRCLE to enter the hole in the fireplace.

- You will need to press X when the clowns head passes over the Target. You 
  need to do this several times to escape and you only have 40 seconds.

-------------------------------------
-- Part Five - Uncle Monty's House --
-------------------------------------

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- When you get back in control of Violet you need to walk directly forwards 
  and go through the door into The Garden. Then walk down the steps and the 
  path. A cutscene
  will begin. When it finishes, walk directly forwards and go through the gate
  into The Great Tree. Walk down the path and a cutscene will begin.

- You need to start collectin items to build the "Levitating Loafers" 
  invention.

- Look immediately to your left, take the propellor that is spinning on the 
  bottom of the snake sculpture. Look to the other side of the path, take the
  propellor from that sculpture as well. Then go back through the gate into 
  The Garden.

- Enter the hut in the middle of the Garden and take the batteries that are 
  on the boxes. Then go up the stairs. By the windows should be two watering
  cans hanging on two logs. Shoot them with the Fruit Flinger of hit them with
  the Brilliant Bopper. When you have done this, go back down the stairs and 
  exit the hut. Go left and jump onto the crate. Then jump onto the next two 
  flowers. Then jump up onto the roof of the Hut. Take the shoelaces from the
  shoes that are hanging there.

- Now you can make the Levitating Loafers. Press the following button 
  combinations to build the invention.
	- UP
	- X
	- UP
	- X
	- RIGHT
	- X
-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Jump down from the roof and go through the gate into The Great Tree. When 
  you have done this switch to Klaus. To use the Levitating Loafers press X 
  to jump then press X again whilst in teh air to temporarily fly.

- Walk along the path until you reach the edge and use the levitating loafers
  to fly to the tree stump. Land on it. Watch out for the toads, kill them and
  follow the passageway. Whenever you reach the end of a passageway, jump onto
  the next tree stump and continue.

- When you reach the mushrooms, jump along until you reach the last one. Then 
  you have to time your next jump carefully so that you land on one of the 
  spinning circular platforms. If you do this correctly, let the spinning 
  platform move around until you can jump onto a new wooden platform. You need
  to walk forward and use the Brilliant Bopper to destroy all three of the dark
  orange vases. When you do this, a wooden bridge will drop down that you can 
  walk across. Turn around and walk across it.

- Take the trophy then make your way back down the tree the same way you came 
  up. When you do this, walk back along the path and go through the gate into
  The Garden.

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Now you need to get the next trophy. Go through the gate that takes you to 
  "The Grim River." Switch to Violet and look right. There should be a large 
  tree with an entrance in the bottom. Put Sunny in it.

AS SUNNY

- Walk right and jump down to the next four platforms. Then bite through the
  two tree trunks and cross the drawbrigde. Jump across to the next piece of
  land then drop down onto the small raft. You need to jump over the spikey 
  trees and land on the raft on the other side. There are only two trees you 
  need to jump over to get across. When you reach land, walk right and then 
  jump up to the next level. Then drop down onto the next raft. You need to 
  jump over the three spikey trees to make it. Walk right along and jump up 
  to the next level. Jump across to the platform made of bricks and walk up 
  to the first crusher. Wait for it to go up and run across. Repeat this 
  process with the next two as well. Push the big man made out of stone into 
  the gap and jump onto him. Jump up onto the next level and body-slam the 
  lizard. Push the big stone man into the gap and head back. Jump down to the
  next level and bite through the two trees. Push that big stone man into the
  gap made out of wood and jump over him. Run past the four crushers then 
  body-slam the lizard. Then walk up to the tree exit. Sunny will bite through
  the rope and let down the bridge.

AS VIOLET

- Follow the passageway around a collect the trophy. Go back around the 
  passageway and cross the bridge, then go through the door that takes you 
  into The Garden.

- Now you need to kill all of the giant wasps using your Fruit Flinger. Press
  SQUARE to shoot them when they get close. When you finish take the trophy 
  that is in the doorway of the hut, then go through the door that takes you 
  into The Front Room.

- A cutscene will begin, when it finishes turn around and you will see some 
  plant pots, go to the one that's closest to you then push it along the lines
  in the floor until it is next to the fish tank. When you have done this, 
  look immediately to your left and you will see two plant pots next to each 
  other. Go up to the one on the right and push it forward until it is next to
  the wall. When you do this, turn around and go back to the other plant pot,
  push it so it is next to the window.

- Turn around and walk forward until you reach a plant pot near the wall. Push
  it so it is in the right place. If you have put all four plant pots in their
  correct places, a gate should open with the pods inside. Go up to the pods 
  and press CIRCLE to take them. Now you need to go back to all four plant 
  pots that you pushed around and press CIRCLE at each one to place a pod 
  inside.

- When you have done this, return to the fourth plant pot that you pushed and
  look to the right of it. You should see a small ventilation shaft. Switch to
  Violet if you haven't already done so and put Sunny inside of it. Sunny will
  crawl up and the contraption will work. After the cutscene, take the trophy.

-- Part Six - Collecting the Snakes --
--------------------------------------

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Exit through the door that takes you into The Grounds.

- Now you need to start collecting items so you can build the invention "The
  Reptile Retriever." First of all, turn around and look to the left side of 
  the door, take the screwdriver from the pouch. Next, go down the steps and 
  walk right towards the big blue building. Walk around the side and you will
  see a lawnmower. Take the bag from this lawnmower. Then go back to the steps
  but instead of going up them, go right (the side with the big, brown fence 
  near it) and look to your left. Take the garden hose.

- Now you can build the invention, press the following buttons to build it.
	- RIGHT
	- X
	- LEFT
	- LEFT
	- X
	- UP
	- X
-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Now, if you haven't already done so, switch to Violet using the TRIANGLE 
  button. Then approach the large, gold cage. Press CIRCLE to release it then
  hold CIRCLE to suck the snake into the Reptile Retriever. Then go through 
  the large, brown door with the lizard on it that will take you into the 
  Hedge Maze East.

- When you have done this, walk forward and a small cutscene about wasps will
  interfere, you now have to kill the wasps before you can pass. When you kill
  them, step on the eye shaped button on the floor. This will make a small 
  platform rise from the middle of the small pond. Switch to Klaus using the 
  TRIANGLE button.


AS KLAUS

- Jump to the small platform in the pond then jump to the other side, when 
  you get across hit the switch with the Brilliant Bopper. Then switch back 
  to Violet.

AS VIOLET

- Go through the gate that Klaus just opened and open the cage immediately to
  your right, take the snake then continue up the path. 

- Watch out for the woman with the weed-killer. When she takes a break, shoot
  a piece of rotten fruit at her with the Fruit Flinger then continue round 
  the path. When you reach the slimey water, put your stilts on and wade 
  across. Watch out for the plants' tongues.

- When you get across, open the cage and catch the snake inside, then turn 
  around. Hold R1 to auto-aim your fruit flinger and shoot the button on the
  opposite wall. Then switch back to Klaus.

AS KLAUS

- Go through the gate and follow the passageway. When you get to the woman 
  with the umbrella wait till she stops then attack her with the Brilliant 
  Bopper. The continue along the path. When you get to the lake, glide across
  with your Levitating Loafers. Press the button that is on the small piece of
  wall. Then switch back to Violet.

AS VIOLET

- Go through the gate and you will be faced with the giant bees, you have to
  kill them all. Once you have done that, press the two buttons on either side
  of the tree, which will make the sculpture with the snake cage in come down.
  Unlock the cage and suck up the Snake. Continue down along the pathway and
  approach the block. Push it forward until it is sitting on the button. Then
  look left, auto-aim your Fruit Flinger by holding R1 and shoot the button. 
  Then press the TRIANGLE button to switch back to Klaus.

AS KLAUS

- Time your jumps carefully along the moving pillars. When you reach the end,
  approach the large block and push it so it is on the button. Then use the
  TRIANGLE button to switch back to Violet.

AS VIOLET

- Go through the gate and approach the snake cage. Release the Snake from the
  cage and suck it into the Reptile Retriever. When you have done this, try
  and open the door to The Grounds. When the cutscene finishes, approach the
 large tree and put Sunny in it.

- Slide down the tree as Sunny, use the X button to jump over the large gaps 
  or the obstacles.

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Go through the door into the Hedge Maze West and use Klaus to jump to the 
  large platform in the middle of the pond. Go straight forward and hit the
  woman with the Weed Killer when she takes a break. Follow the ssage round
  and deal with the next crazy hench woman. Hit the button to help Violet 
  through. You will automatically switch to Violet. Follow the passage round
  and enter the gate. Capture the two snakes in their cages and follow the
  rest of the passage. When you reach the jumping part, you have to time your
  jumps carefully so that you land on the moving platforms. When you reach the
  end, push the block out of the way and shoot the button. You will then 
  automatically switch back to Klaus.

- Use your levitating loafers to jump to the middle platform, then jump onto
  the next path. Deal with the crazy hench-woman when she takes a break and
  then carry on around the passage way. Push the two blocks forwar so that 
  the bridge comes up. Walk across it and kill the crazy woman with the 
  weed-killer. Push the block forward onto the button, then hit the other 
  button with your Brilliant Bopper. You will then automatically switch back 
  to Violet.

- Jump to the platform and run across, then jump to the next passageway. Deal
  with the henchwoman with the weed-killer and the woman with t umbrella and 
  collect the Snake from its cage. Follow the passage way around and you will
  have to deal with two wasps nests. Push the two buttons where the wasps 
  nests were, then turn around and push the block onto the button. You will 
  switch to Klaus.

- Run through the gate and use your levitating loafers to glide to the small 
  platform with the button on it. Fly back and switch to Violet. 

- Collect the Snake from its cage. Then turn left and go through the door 
  into The Grounds. Now go through the door into The Courtyard.

- You will now have to kill all the toads. Hit them with the Brilliant Bopper. 
  When you have done this, you will need to kill a boss.

- Whenever you are Violet you must collect all the Snakes that have gotten 
  loose. Whenever you are Klaus you need to attack the boss and his toads.

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Once you have managed to defeat this... weird person, walk forwards until
  you reach the fountain and then turn left. There will be a (now) opened
  gate. Go through it and collect the key from within.

- Go through the door north of the fountain and into the Reptile Room.

- You will now have to return the snakes to their cages, there are:
  - Two Cages aleady on the ground.
  - Two sitting on boxes that you have to smash.
  - A button near the Incredibly Deadly Viper (on the wall above the sink)
  - A button near the front door to the room.
  - A button in the big glass dome part of the room, with the cage hanging
    above it.
  - A button above the snake cages, near the front door.


-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Go to the door in the top right hand corner of the room on the right into 
  the hallway. You have to jump over barrels that a man is throwing to get 
  to the end. Defeat the man and go through the door on your right.

- In the Guest Room, you have to fight a weird woman. When she stops 
  spinning around, shoot her with your fruit flinger. And watch out for the
  gas she sprays at you! It will take six hits to defeat her.

- Turn around and approach the large black safe. You need to make a lockpick.

- Go the bed and take the Tweezers. Then, take the paint brush that is next 
  to the large canvas painting. Go back into the room where you fought the 
  woman and take the spool from the desk.

-  Now you can make it. Follow the instructions to build it.
  - Left
  - X
  - Right
  - X

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Approach the large black safe and press Circle. Press the button 
  combinations in.
- Defeat all of Count Olafs henchmen. There are no real tips to give out,
  all I can say is to shoot what they throw before you shot them.

- The moment you finish you will find yourself as Klaus, jump over
  jump over the barrels that the man is throwing and hit him with the
  Brilliant Bopper.

- When the short cutscene finishes, go to the end of the pier and 
  collect the Grammar Books.

- You now play as Sunny.

- Walk right and jump onto the three moving platforms. Walk along and 
  kill the  two reptiles. Walk along and jump across the swaying 
  platforms. Jump over the gap, whilst dodging the swaying bars.

- Keep going until you reach the end, I think you know what to do.

- When you reach the cages, you have to push them out of the way.

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Go directly forward and through the door into the front yard.

-- Part Seven - Getting the shopping --

- You must collect the:

  - Limes - From the stall by the last shop on the right.

  - Cucumbers from the small stall near to where you started.

  - Bread: The first door on the left, beat the woman who will throw
    stuff at you. Take the bread from where she falls when you beat her.

  - Wind Chimes: Go the first door on your left from your starting
   positiong and Press Circle. Fight the man and then take the Wind 
   Chimes when You beat him.
  
  - Grammar Books - Try to open the door of "The Window Books Shops."

- You now have to collect three things to make the PepperMint popper.

- The Ladle is located on a bench on the right side, sort of near the middle.
  The egg beater is near a shop on the left, sitting in a large pan. The
  fishing pole is in the top left of the area, right next to the ocean and
  is sitting in a barrel.

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Switch to Violet and go to the pier. You need to repeatedly shoot the
  target until the box crashes into the pier.

- Defeat all of Count Olafs henchmen. There are no real tips to give out,
  all I can say is to shoot what they throw before you shot them.

- The moment you finish you will find yourself as Klaus, jump over
  jump over the barrels that the man is throwing and hit him with the
  Brilliant Bopper.

- When the short cutscene finishes, go to the end of the pier and 
  collect the Grammar Books.

- Turn around and go through the main gate heading to Aunt Josephines
  house

-- Part Eight - Hurricane Herman --
-----------------------------------

- This is a very dangerous part of the game, so, be VERY careful. Follow
  the instructions EXACTLY and you should be ok.

- Wait a few seconds for some of the boards to fly away, and then jump
  to the board directly in front of you. Walk one board to the right
  and then jump to the board in front. Jump to the next board and then
  jump to the board forward and to the left. Walk one board left and 
  then on board forward and then jump to the board directly in front of
  you. Walk forward one board and then jump to the board in front of you.
  Jump to the board forward and to the left. Then to the board forward to
  the right. And then jump to the board forward in the middle. Jump one 
  board forward, jump ANOTHER board forward. Walk left and then forward.
  You will then see the door, jump to the board forward and right and then
  go through the door into The Entryway.

AS VIOLET

- Collect the Umbrela located up the stairs and then go through the doors
  into The Windy Hallway.

- Keep jumping along the boards, watch out for swinging lights and stuff.
  It may take you a few tries to do it.

- When you reach the end, go through the door into "Another Windy Hallway."

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------


- There's nothing in that room, so just proceed through the open doors and
  into the 'falling-apart' hallway.

- When you reach the end, go through the door into 'The Entryway.'


AS SUNNY

- Walk right and jump to the next platform. Don't stand on them too long
  as the WILL collapse (take it from me, I found out the hardway).

- When you get to the end, jump up the platforms and watch out for the
  streams of water.

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------


- Run forward and jump up the different levels until you reach the top. Go
  up to the hole and press Circle to put Sunny in it.

AS SUNNY

- Simply slide down the hill, jump over the crumbling pieces of rock and 
  jump over the gaps.

- When you finish, get in the elevator and Press Circle.

- You need to kill all of the crabs, it's best to do this with Violet, just
  run around rapidly pressing Square.

- When you have killed them all, walk to the broken box and pick up the
  Grammar Books.

- When you get them, go back through the elevator. Then go to the boat and
  Press Circle to get in it.


------------------------------------
-- Part Nine - Lachrymose Leeches --
------------------------------------

- You HAVE to shoot all of the Leeches before they reach Aunt Josephine.
  - The Black leeches are quite slow.
  - The Red Leeches are a bit faster and more vicious than the Black ones.

- There are three rounds, the Leeches get faster and more vicious with each
  round. And each time, their numbers grow.

-- Part Ten - Thw Marvelous Marriage --

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- As Klaus, kill all of the Rats in the room and then go up the stairs.

- You need to start collecting items to build the Horrifying Hook.


- Go down the stairs and collect the gardening tool that is sitting on a 
  table. Then take the Coil which is located on the arm chair.

- There are two stacks of boxes near you. Jump onto the smaller one and
  then onto the bigger one. Take the Bycycle Pump.

- Follow the button combinations to build the invention.
  - Left
  - X
  - Left
  - X

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Go back up the stairs and press Circle to climb out of the window.


- Walk along the ledge and press Circle to use the Horrifying Hook. Walk
  along the ledge, wait for the henchman to stop shining his light and
  then walk along. Turn the corner and you will find two henchman
  shining their lights. Wait until they've stopped and go through. Walk
  along and go through the window.

- You have to fight a boss. Dodge his barrels and get to the top. Jump
  over the gap, take the Memory if you need it and then go up the stairs.
  Jump over the next gap and proceed up the stairs. Jump the gap and dodge
  the barrel. Go up the next set of stairs, whilst dodging barrels and
  then climb out of the window. Walk along the ledge, watch out for the
  barrels and henchmen with search lights. Keep going along, using
  your hook to climb up to the next ledge.

- Go through the window.

- Go up the stairs and dodge the rolling barrels. Proceed up the stairs
  until you reach a window. Go through it.

- Go right along the ledge, dodge the barrels. Use the hook to climb up.

- Go through the window when you reach it.

- Proceed up the stairs to get to Sunny. You now have to fight the man with
  the hooked hands. Dodge the barrels that come down, and the barrels he 
  throws. And when he pops up, hit him. It's a little bit like the game
  Whack-A-Mole.

-------------------------- S A V E    P O I N T ---------------------------

- Walk forward and jump onto the wooden ledge. Press Circle whilst standing
  by the giant eye.

- When the dancing freaks take a break, shoot the one holding the marriage
  certificate. It doesn't matter WHERE you hit them.

The Bountiful Battle

- On the Bountiful Battle, you must shoot Olaf whilst holding the marriage
  certificate. Watch out for the cannons as they fire Melons at you.
