    1. Introduction
    ===============

    Hello, this is my guide to Xing Cai. I decided to write a FAQ on her because
    I think she is a unique character with a cool weapon. I am also one of the few
    who thinks she's a good character. Hopefully, this FAQ will make you all
    better Xing Cai players. This is the second FAQ I've written so far (Oichi is
    my first FAQ.) Check out my Oichi FAQ, if you'd like! ^^

    ======================
    2. Xing Cai In General
    ======================

    Xing Cai was the daughter of Zhang Fei. She was more calm than her father and
    she was a brave warrrior. As she grew up with her father, Liu Chan, and Guan
    Ping, she became stronger and she helped Shu in its later years when her
    father was killed at Fan Castle. Her dates of birth and death are unknown

    Xing Cai is one of the stronger female character, in terms of power. She is
    not very fast but she has good crowd control. Her C3 is the best charge attack
    for crowd control and her C1 is very fast and can stun enemies. She is a very
    good character once you know how to play her. Xing Cai is a starting
    character by the way.

    Here's how I would rate her (S is strongest, F is weakest)

    Life: C
    Musou: B
    Attack: B+
    Defense: C+
    Attack Range: C
    Crowd Control: S
    Musou Power: A
    True Musou: A
    Attack Speed: C
    Running Speed: B+

    So as you see she is good in crowd clearing and musou, she is also not a
    bad runner especially with her dash move where she gains extra speed.

    =========================
    3. Xing Cai's Musou Story
    =========================

    In Xing Cai's Musou Mode there are 5 levels, I will just tell the general
    objectives of each level. In all of her musou levels be sure to kill the guard
    captains at the base to raise morale and give you attack and defense plus
    items. Don't be afraid to use an interim save before a key event. Keep in
    mind that levels get harder so if you need to level up Xing Cai before
    you start another level.

    =======================
    3.1. Battle of Cheng Du
    =======================

    Lui Bei's Forces vs. Liu Zhang's Forces

    The main objective of this fight is to surround Cheng Du and lure out Liu
    Zhang. Unfortunately, Pang Tong is the one who carries out this task but he
    dies during the battle. Zhang Fei and Zhao Yun tell you to stay close to them.
    Of course you don't have to, but they pretty much follow you anyways. Ambush
    troops appear in the forest but it's not much to worry about. Be careful of
    archers, that's what killed Pang Tong :P This first level is pretty easy, as
    a whole. Hardness Scale: 1/5

    *Rare Item Alert!* Hex Mark Harness: Defeat Zhang Ren within 1 minute after he
    appears with ambush troops. Hex Mark is a very useful saddle, Liu Bei always
    rides it.

    ===========================
    3.2. Battle of Mt. Ding Jun
    ===========================

    Shu Forces vs. Wei Forces

    The main objective of this fight is to take the mountain base and defeat Wei,
    of course. You can follow Zhuge Liang's orders if you want. Xiahou Yuan is
    near the Wei main camp and in this level he is a powerful foe so keep an eye
    on him. Cao Cao's unit comes in later during the battle (as always, lol).
    Defeat Cao Cao as soon he comes. The only obstacle here is Xiahou Yuan so just
    keep an eye on him. This level is a bit harder than the first level because
    of Xiahou Yuan but it's pretty easy overall. Hardness Scale: 2/5

    *Rare Item Alert!* Way of Musou: Defeat Xiahou Yuan before Cao Cao arrives.
    Way of Musou is a must have item, especially for Xing Cai!

    ======================
    3.3. Battle of Yi Ling
    ======================

    Shu Forces vs. Wu Forces

    The main objective of this battle is to avenge the deaths of Guan Yu,
    Guan Ping, and Zhang Fei at Fan Castle. Liu Bei is very angry! Defeating Sun
    Quan is the main objective here. Be aware of southern troops because they can
    be a nuisance and watch out for Gan Ning as he is very speedy and quite an
    attacker. Protecting your army is the key here, so watch out for any Wu troops
    that are heading towards main camp or any officers. Be careful of all the
    troops at the Wu main camp. This level is somewhat hard with all the added
    troops in this level. Hardness Scale: 2.5/5

    =======================
    3.4. Battle of Jie Ting
    =======================

    Shu Forces vs. Wei Forces

    The main objective of this battle is to crash the summit and take the Wei
    camp. Cao Pi will come in the battle later (Gee, I wonder who he got that
    trait from!). So when Cao Pi comes, kill him. The tough part of this battle is
    protecting the camp and Ma Su when the Wei begins storming the Shu army. For
    me, Ma Su came first so I protected him and then I went back to camp to kill
    any remaining officers and troops. Definitely use an interim save before this
    event. That is the only hard part of the battle, the rest is pretty easy.
    Hardness Scale: 3.5/5

    *Rare Item Alert!* Green Scroll: Defeat Xu Zhu, and then Sima Yi in less than
    three minutes.

    ============================
    3.5. Battle of Bai Di Castle
    ============================

    Shu Forces vs. Wu Forces

    The main objective here is to defeat Sun Quan and to keep Liu Chan safe. When
    the battle starts Liu Chan begins to go out of his castle, if you meet him he
    will want to escort him back to the castle. Escort him back, it'll make the
    battle much easier. Now, when Gan Ning arrives be sure to kill Gan Ning and
    Huang Gai as they will go to main camp where Liu Chan is. They are a bit tough
    so use an interim save if you have to. After that I would kill Lu Xun and then
    go towards Sun Quan. When you fight Sun Quan, since this is the final level,
    he will gain 2x Attack Power when he hit him enough, and then he'll go into
    Musou Rage when his health is low. When he is in Musou Rage, just defend
    until it wears off, then attack him until he dies. Use an interim save before
    you fight Sun Quan. Now if you beat this level, Congratulations on beating
    Xing Cai's Musou Mode and enjoy the ending! Hardness Scale: 4/5

    Speed Lv. 16
    Defense Lv. 17
    Musou Lv. 17
    Life Lv. 15

    Brilliant Sky also has Evolution Attacks with it. If you get a heavy weapon
    don't use it, her normal combos are very slow as with any other character,
    but she actually has to struggle to pick up her shield XD
    ==========
    5. Moveset
    ==========

    Here, I will seperate her movesets by type.

    ==========================
    5.1. Normal/Charge Attacks
    ==========================

    SSSSSS- Swings her spear to the left, then swings her shield upward, then
    swings her spear to the right, then does 2 stabs with her spear in fron of
    her, and then runs forward with her shield in front of her. Usefulness: 8/10

    T- Jumps up and hits enemies with her shield Usefulness: 7/10

    ST- Does an upward motion with her shield Usefulness: 3/10

    SST- Spins around three times with her spear, and then slides with her spear,
    great crowd control!  Usefulness: 10/10

    SSST- Hits enemies in front of her with a horizontal spear swipe then throws
    her shield in front of her. Usefulness: 9/10

    SSSST- Shoots a spinning vortex out of her spear that goes forward for long
    range. Usefulness: 5/10

    SSSSST- Throws her shield up and then hits enemies with her spear in front of
    her, I don't like this move. Usefulness: 3/10

    SSSSSS(SSS)- After her normal 6 hit combo, her evolution attack is basically
    her C4. Usefulness: 9/10

    Jump Attack- A basic spear swing. Usefulness: 5/10

    Jump Charge- Falls on the ground with her spear in front of her and creates
    a ground shockwave. Usefulness: 7/10

    Counter Attack- Basically her C4 spear swing. Usefulness: 6/10

    Dash Attack- Runs with her spear in front of her, and then jumps and creates a
    shockwave. Usefulness: 8/10

    My recommended moves: Her Evolution combos are quite good with a nice Tiger
    Amulet. Her C3 is great for crowd clearing and has above-average power. C4
    also has good crowd clearing but when she throws her shield it can miss
    enemies in front of her. C1 is good if you need to run away from an officer.

    Don't use: Her C5 and C6. They are both horrible and slow. C2 also doesn't
    have very much range. Stick with C1, C3, and C4 and also her Evolution
    combos.

    ==========
    5.2. Musou
    ==========

    Musou- She swings her spear left and right and hits enemies in front of her
    and some enemies close behind her, then she spins forward. Looks kind of like
    Keiji Maeda's Musou but with less range. She's saying "Time to go."\
    Usefulness: 8/10

    True Musou- Basically the same as her normal musou except it engulfs the
    enemies in flames and there's an extra explosion at the end. She's saying
    "That outta do it." Usefulness: 9/10

    ==================
    5.3. Horse Attacks
    ==================

    Normal Attack- Swings her spear left and right. Usefulness: 8/10

    Charge Attack- Swings her spear to the right or left with more power.
    Usefulness: 7/10

    Musou- Swings her spear left and right but quicker and more powerful.
    Usefulness: 7/10

    True Musou- Same as musou, but with fire added. Usefulness: 8/10

    ===========
    6. Costumes
    ===========

    1st costume- Default costume, light green skirt with light green shoulder pads
    and a light green flower in her hair.

    2nd costume- Same design as first but a darker green.

    *Coming soon: 3rd and 4th costumes! I promise*
