"Best Metal Gear Solid game ever"

The Introduction
Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence has tons of action and extra's to keep you going for many years. The game has improved from it's original: Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater in many ways. Subsistence starts out with Snake's virtuous mission, a few things are told to you from the Major about the controls and options available in the gameplay. Along the way in the first mission you sort of get the hang of things. Hideo Kojima has once again created an entertaining experience to enjoy for all Metal Gear Solid fans.

The Good
Awesome gameplay that goes perfectly with it's storyline. The story itself is enough to replay the game many times over. Excellent voice acting and character designs. The camera angle is fixed from Snake Eater. The extra CD, Persistence, has several features in it including a secret Theater Mode, Duel Mode, and new stages for the Snake vs. Monkey min-game. The game has an excellent musical score. You can also play the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear:Solid Snake from the NES. Animals in the forest keep you reminded that you are still in the jungle and need to be aware. Subsistence is a prime example of how The Metal Gear Solid series has changed for the better.

The Bad
The graphics still have a few issues not resolved from Snake Eater. Finding food to increase the stamina gauge can sometimes slow down gameplay. There is not much difference at all in terms of actual gameplay in Subsistence from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater's transition.

The Gameplay
The camera angles are now in your control giving you a better sense of where you are at and making The End Boss battle much easier to complete. Very strategic tactics for taking down enemy sentries. The forest can be used to your advantage with the camouflage options in Snakes' gear. The cure option allows you to tend to your wounds when hurt and making this game seem more realistic than it already is. You can play mind games with your enemies in combat by holding them hostage, tapping on walls to get their attention. One of the greatest tactics in the game is using the fake death pill and then reviving yourself with the revive pill.

The Sound
One of the best musical scores in gaming history. The tone quality sounds great. The precision of the sound of guns firing is very satisfying and frightening. Moving sound track that will effect you after you are done playing the game.

The Graphics
Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence has outstanding graphics and visuals. The characters seem life-like and that you could relate to them. A few minor problems with the lighting. Excellent effects with the weather. The real time gameplay is just as impressive as the CGI cinematics. The grass, tree's and other scenery look well done.

The Replay Value
Very addictive every time you play it. The game doesn't lose any excitement even when you know what is going to happen. Items get unlocked every time you beat the game on different difficulty levels.

My Personal Opinion
I loved the game honestly. It was very moving at the end of the game. This is definetly my favorite military action game. I would recommend Metal Gear Solid 3:Subsistence to anyone that love's awesome gameplay, unforgettable characters, and a storyline that pulls at any American's heartstrings.
