Q. Hey, your guide sucks?
A. Well, it's okay for me since I expect to get this kind of feedback.

Q. What is the max level for each plate?
A. Lv9.

Q. How do you get each plate to level 9.
A. You can either combine two lvl 5(max) of the same plates in a flow, 
   or mix three of the same plates that can be added to 9 in a flow.

Q. What is a flow?
A. A flow is highlighted with a yellow border. A plate that has a yellow
   border means that plate is currently part of the flow. To understand
   it more clearly, read the game's manual(p.23).

Q. Is it possible to max every plate for each character?
A. Nope, since the ability tree screen has a limited amount of space.

Q. Is there any way to change the arrow plate's direction?
A. Yes, there are items that can change the direction of the arrow.

Q. What are they?
A. Waxing Mirror, Waning Moon Mirror, and New Moon Mirror, these mirror
   can be found in various shops throughtout the game. Another mirror 
   called Eclipse Mirror that causes the plate's arrow to branch (dual-
   plate). However, this mirror is a rare item that can only be obtained
   from some(not all) enemies.

   There are also some items that let you move the plates freely. These
   items are called Charms. Just like the mirrors, these charms can also
   be bought in various shops throughout the game. Switching charm can
   move the plates freely, Transfer charm allows you to transfer plates
   to party members, and Lethe charm allows you to return the plate back
   to your stock.

Q. What is a dual-plate?
A. A dual-plate is a plate that has two arrows pointing in different 
   directions (up and down).

Q. Is there any other way to get this kind of plate?
A. Yes, sometimes it just randomly appear in your stock. I don't know
   how to make it appear, but putting a lot of plates in your ability
   tree screen will make it appear.

Q. Can you transfer a dual-plate to other party members?
A. Yes, just follow John Rice's Strategy:
   
   This strategy relies heavily lethe charms and transfer charms, so it 
   should be done when those are commercially available for purchase 
   (although you can steal leath charms from the where-panthers in the 
   forest next to juwaina, bout a 1/5 chance) if you're ambitious. 

   First, you hafta have stumbled upon a dual-path plate.  I think MP up 
   has this happening most commonly...at least, it's the only plate i 
   had seen it naturally occur on.  We all know you can steal an ability
   using transfer charms, and that you can duplicate it by using another
   transfer charm to bring it back.  These plates you transfer arent 
   only identical in ability, but in arrow position as well.  If the
   arrow is up, the transferred plate's arrow will be up. If you've used
   a new moon mirror, that will duplicate. This even applies to dual 
   path plates.

   The problem after learning this occurs when you already have a plate 
   on stand by. If you have 3 of that plate already, you obviously can't
   transfer a new one. If you have 2, with 1 in stock, you can't 
   transfer it then, either.  In fact, if you have any in stock, you 
   cannot transfer a new one of the same type. That's where this gets 
   tricky. You can avoid this, but you must use several lethe plates. 
   Heres the break down in a list:

   DONT MOVE OR FIGHT between steps 3 and 4. it could backfire, and then 
   you'll either hafta do it all again, or load. Also, avoid doing any 
   of this in your active tree, it will waste knack points, and in this 
   context, the wasted points will cost dearly.

   First, make sure you have a dual path plate you wish to copy from 
   another character. 

   Second, use lethe plates on all of the same type that you have.  This 
   will rid them from your abiltie tree, yet leave one in your stock.

   Third, put down the last one you just lethe charmed.  You heard me.  
   This gets your stock empty, letting you transfer the new one over 

   Fourth, transfer the dual path plate!!!! and sorry, if you want it 
   done right, not done yet.

   Fifth, put down the dual path plate.

   Sixth, remove the normal plate FOLLOWED BY THE DUAL PATH. Yes, your
   going to remove the precious dual path plate you just dropped. 
   DO THIS IN ORDER!!!! otherwise, you just wasted alot of time and 
   effort, amongst other things.

   Seventh, drop the dual plate, and switch it over to the beginning of 
   your tree. Notice, at this point...your stock is empty. Meaning you 
   can just transfer a second one over. 

   Eighth, and last, transfer a second plate over, and stick it right 
   after your first one. If you only have one type of dual path plate, 
   you might want to do a third one, but use a second/different type to
   continue this strategy, since 2 active is all you need for a max 
   level. 

   Using this, you only need to come across about 3 eclipse mirrors to 
   get everyone in your party heavily branched, Once you get 8 or so to
   a tree, you actuall start to overlap, so you can actually max out the
   usefulness of eclipse mirrors.
