1) INTRODUCTION

In this FAQ I compiled the translation of the characters' skills' names
(and description), the characters' weapons' names (and descriptions)
and the characters' armor's names (and descriptions)

UPDATE:(07/30/08) Added Romaji readings for all Skills;
you'll find it in [brackets] under the Skill name.

(08/05/08) Romaji readings for weapons and armor are up. I didn't
write them when they were redundant (Zabii's weapons, Itsuki's
weapons and armor)

Throws stones at foes.
Additional button pressing makes it possible to throw stones consecutively.

Pushing the Skill button knocks enemies away.
Defense power is lowered while this skill is active.
The skill's active time is lengthened after level up.)

The Skill "Special Choice, Muscle Pill" can't be interrupted during its
activation.
Also, damage received while "Special Choice, Muscle Pill" is in effect
decreases.

SKILLS

First Move "Emission" (Light Elemental)
[Sen no Te "Hatsu"]

Sets land mine(s) which explode after a certain amount of time.
It is also possible to freely decide the explosion's timing by pressing
the Taunt button.


Returning Move "Revolution*"
[Kaeshi Te "Ten"]

A spinning jump expanding the ring blade. 
Knocks away surrounding enemies.


Repelling Move "Wall" (Light Elemental)
[Hajiki Te "Heki"]

Creates a wall that repels enemies and arrows. 
By charging it, it is possible to set it farther.
Pressing the Taunt button makes the wall spin the other way.
At Level 2 its active time is lengthened.
At Level 3 it becomes possible to set 2 of them.


Removing Move "Violence"
[Nuki Te "Retsu"]

Slices up enemies with the sword, then launches them in the air.
After level up the number of hits increases.
Additional button pressing raises number of hits.
Priming goes into effect when the enemies are launched in the air.


Sealing Move "Yearning"
[Fuuji Te "Kai" ]

Enemies are manipulated after being hit with the ring blade.
It's effective until the player is hit.
After level up the number of controllable enemies increases.
By pressing the Taunt button it's possible to make the controlled
enemies explode.


Forbidding Move "Bind" (Light Elemental)
[Kinji Te "Baku"]

Lets a sun fly forward; the enemies inside are crushed to death.
Charging the skill enlarges the sun.
It can be charged more after level up.

Holding and then releasing the Skill button will make Itsuki pursue the
airborne enemies and knock them on the ground.


Festival Band
[Matsuribayashi]

Swings the hammer around with all her might, ultimately blowing away
surroundings enemies.


My Strength
[Ora sa chikara]

The hammer is hurled away and for a while Itsuki will fight barehanded.
It's possible to move quickly but guarding and evading can't be used.


Rolling Snow
[Yuki Korogashi]

Rolls a huge snowball.
Beats down many enemies while rolling them up.


Big Cold Wave (Ice Elemental)
[Daikanpa]

A cold wave is created, which freezes the surrounding enemies.
The cold wave lasts longer after level up.


Mochi Pressing Tournament
[Mochitsuki Taikai]

The hammer is slammed on the ground, making enemies float in midair.
Charging the skill enlarges the hammer, making the hit more powerful.


Snowmen Alarm (Ice Elemental)
[Yukidaruma Keihou]

Many snowmen fall from the sky.
The number of snowmen increases after level up.

A void blade flies and hits distant enemies.
The void blade gets bigger after level up.


Divine Slash
[Shinzan]

High-speed Iai* flash.
After level up, by additional button pressing it's possible to make consecutive
attacks.


Divine Fury
[Shinretsu]

Sends out consecutive slashes and a thrust for the finisher.
Additional button pressing raises number of hits.
After level up the number of hits increases.


Divine Mirror
[Shinkyou]

Atemi** technique.
By raising the scabbard exactly when the enemy attack hits,
Kenshin counterattacks with a quick Iai.
After level up the counterattack strikes increase.


Divine Battle (Ice Elemental)
[Shinjin]

Freezing the surrounding air, enemies are frozen in the blink of an eye.
Frozen enemies cannot move for a certain amount of time.


Divine Speed
[Shinsoku]

Pressing the skill button initiates the high speed movement;
every time the normal combo button is pressed a Iai slash is executed.
The skill lasts more after level up.


Notes:
*Iai defines sword skills which involve drawing it from the scabbard before
attacking.
**Atemi indicates body blows.

A long sword tempered by the harshness of nature.

[Hajaseiouken]

The miraculous long sword of Bishamonten***, he who brings victory.

Leap of the Sweetfish
[Kougyo no Chou]

Throws enemies in the air with the rifle's barrel, then does a follow-up hit.
Pressing the normal combo button changes the follow-up hit into an attack
with the two pistols.


Roar of Orochi*
[Orochi no Kou]

Gatling sweep.
It's possible to add hits by pressing additionally the buttons. 
After level up the rapid-fire ability increases.


Awakening of the Butterfly
[Kichou no Mezame]

Attacks the surrounding enemies with graceful physical techniques.
It's possible to make a consecutive attack by continually pressing
the Skill button.


Lamentation of Watatsuna**
[Watatsuna no Nageki]

Shoots an underground bazooka bullet, which will go straight ahead
and explode. 
After level up it's possible to shoot continuously by additionally pressing
the button.


Passing of the Dragonfly
[Akizu no Watari]

It becomes possible to shoot while moving, aiming straight ahead.


Dance of the Skylark (Flame Elemental)
[Koutenshi no Mai]

Shoots innumerable bullets at the surroundings, sweeping enemies
in all directions.

*Orochi is a mythological snake.
**Watatsuna is the Sea God.

[Shodouteki Houyou]

The first hit makes enemies falter; they are then sliced up and thrown
in midair.
After level up the number of hits increases.


Cursing Thousand Stabs
[Jusoteki Chitoge]

Lets void blades fly, which halt enemy movement  for a while. 
Additionally pressing the buttons enables consecutive attacks.


Humiliating Chasing Blows
[Kutsujokuteki Oiuchi]

A continuous attack aimed at feet level. 
It's possible to perform a continuous follow-up attack byadditional
button pressing.


Protective Bone Armor
[Shuugoteki Gaikotsu]

Multiple skeleton shields are summoned to protect oneself.
After pressing the Skill button again the skeletons break down;
the enemies, overpowered by the evil gas, run away disorderly.


Karmic Retribution (Darkness Elemental)
[Ingateki Ouhou]

Taunts the enemies to invite their attacks, lastly performs a counterattack. 
The received damage is returned as a more powerful counterattack.

A sharp scythe created for combat.

[Konpeki]

A scythe curved to form an abominable shape.

A scythe that gouges enemies with sharp blows.

A scythe that emits strong wicked aura.

An instrument made to melt the battlefield in a crucible of excitement.

means judgement/disposal/tearing/drain, while the given kanji
mean "three" (sa) "dominator" (ba) and "demon" (ki).
