Introduction

Hello everybody. The FAQ title is pretty self-explanatory, so I won't
offend your intelligence by explaining what you'll find here.

Let me just say that if you have any questions, correction, advice,
or anything of the sort, you're welcome to hit me up with a mail!

Or better yet, post on the board. We always need new faces, and you'll

1.ITEM LIST





1.1 Jewel of Physical Strength
[Tairyoku no Houshu]

A Jewel that raises the maximum level of Physical Strength.
At MAX LV Physical Strength +10000


1.2 Bangle of Unbridled Strength
[Gouriki no Udewa]


A bangle that raises Attack Strength. At MAX LV Attack Strength +400

[Shugo no Yoroi]

An armor that raises Defensive Power. At LV MAX Defensive Power +200

The amount of health recovered by Onigiris is raised.

[Honoo no Omamori]

The added damage by flame elemental attacks is nullified.

You won't stagger even if you receive an attack.


3.4 Saizou's Bamboo*
[Saizou no Sasa]

You won't falter even if you receive an arrow or bullet attack.


3.5 Kiyomasa's Tiger Skin**
[Kiyomasa no Torahada]

Received damage becomes 3/4.


Notes:

*Kirigakure Saizou, one of the Sanada Ten Braves, had a nickname,
"Saizo of the Bamboo Grass". It was given to him by Ieyasu
after the battle of Sekigahara.

During the battle, Saizou defeated many generals, but taking
all their heads in hand to bring them for inspection would have been
difficult, so he tore off pieces of the bamboo grass he used as a flag
and he thrust them in the mouth of every general he killed.

In the end, Saizou carried no heads, but at the end of the inspection
17 heads pierced with bamboo grass were found;
thus, his nichkame became "Saizou of the Bamboo Grass".


**Apparently, while fighting in Korea Katou Kiyomasa hunted down a tiger,
killed it and sent its skin in Japan to Toyotomi Hideyoshi,
who was exceedingly pleased by the gift.

Notes:

*A Daruma is some kind of doll modeled after the monk Bodhidharma,
because of the anecdote according to which he sat in front of a wall
meditating for many years; after he finally stood back up,
his legs fell off: hence the Daruma's shape.

**The pronunciation is the same as Sengoku (Warring States),
but the kanji mean "War" and "Extreme": thus, Extreme War Drive.

Notes:

*Idaten is a guardian deity of Buddhism.
Because of a legend in which he hunted down a group
of demons that had stolen the Buddha's relics after his death,
his name is used when describing a fast runner.





6.1 Obi* Tie of Compensation
[Daishou no Obishime]

Even with the Basara gauge not full, once per stage it is
possible to perform a Basara attack, at the expense of Physical Strength.


6.2 Will-o'-the-wisp Candle
[Onibi no Rousoku]

Even when the conditions for the Sengoku Drive are not fulfilled,
once per stage it is possible to activate a Sengoku Drive
at the expense of Physical Strength.


6.3 Law of the Foolish One
[Orokamono no Hou]

The damage inflicted by the player to the enemy is multiplied by 1.5.
The damage received by the player is multiplied by 3.


6.4 Gekokujou** Votive Picture
[Gekokujou no Ema]

Named generals are powered down, while all other soldiers are powered up.


6.5 Blade of Vengeance
[Fukushuu no Yaiba]

Attack Strength goes up while Physical Strength is in the red zone.

*an Obi is a kind of belt worn over kimono or other clothes to secure them.

**Gekokujou is the act of the subordinate dethroning

When Physical Strength is in the red zone,
the Basara Gauge auto-recovery ratio is higher.


Notes:
*the Vajra is Buddhist divinity's Asura's weapon.
It is a ritualistic tool said to be able to destroy all ignorance.

**Ootani Yoshitsugu, because of his disease,
covered his face with an hood.





9.1 Full Stomach Rosary
[Manpuku Juzu]

Effectiveness of all healing items is raised.


9.2 Wasteless Provisions
[Mudanaki Hyourou]

When an Onigiri is taken with maxed out
Physical Strength the Basara Gauge fills up instead.


9.3 Wasteless Holy Water
[Mudanaki Shinzui]

When a Holy Water is taken with maxed out
Basara Gauge Physical Strength is recovered instead.


9.4 Stinking Incense Burner
[Akushuu Kouro]

An incense burner that releases a terrible stink.

9.5 Heaven Ascension Incense Burner
[Shouten Kouro]

A deeply fragrant incense burner.
Enemies and allies alike become dizzy

10.1 The Fourth Batter's Oar
[Yonban no Kai]

Knockaway attacks' throwing distance is raised drastically.


10.2 The King's Miracle
[Oushou no Kiseki]

Knockaway attacks gain "Homerun Hit" property.


10.3 Brand of Awakening
[Kakusei no Yakiin]


Equipped Weapons and Armor gain LV MAX effectiveness during battle.


10.4 The Whip that Races through Time
[Toki wo kakeru Muchi]

Equippable only in 1P play.
While riding an horse the combo count doesn't reset.


10.5 Yellow Gold Manekineko*
[Ougon Manekineko]


The Onigiri that appears every time 50 individuals
are cut down changes into a "Manekineko"

The small coins that appear during the stage become big coins,
but every time damage is received the obtained money is halved.

12.1 "Second Time" Lottery Ticket

[Ichibachi no Omikuji]

If the maximum number of hits overtakes 1000,

The battle's distinctive evaluation for the level of difficulty becomes 2.5,
obtained money is doubled, but the level of difficulty
becomes even harder than "Extreme".


Notes:

*Hiraga Gennai, according to an anecdote, was once put in jail.
There, thanks to a medicine he managed to have sent from his home,
he faked his own death; since in his will he stated that his body
be brought in a certain location without being harmed,
he managed to escape, changed his name, and lived on in the same village.


**Takeda Shingen was once deprived of salt by Imagawa Ujizane,
who stopped sending it to him, knowing that from his provinces
Shingen could not produce it. In this case, Uesugi Kenshin sent salt
to Shingen, saying that "I want to have my showdown with you in battle.
I will then send Echigo's salt"


***Naoe Kanetsugu's helmet crest had the kanji for "love" on it.
Here it is probably a reference to his escape from Hasedou castle,
against the Mogami and Date forces.

When the health level reaches zero, Kojuuro is revived in Slaughter mode.


25.2 Jet-black Bridal Gown (Heroes Only)
[Shikkoku no Hanayome Ishou]

The power of skills where black hands come out, and the power of the
Basara attack are increased.


25.3 Sword of Light (Heroes Only)
[Hikari no Tsurugi]


From the beginning of the stage, the equipment becomes
sword of light and shield of light, for no more than 3 minutes.


25.4 Endless Six Claws Style
[Mugen Rokusouryuu]

During the battle, the regular attacks become the powerful Six Claws School
attacks.
While using the Six Claws School, defense power decreases and
guarding/evading are unusable.


25.5 Great Eruption
[Daifunka]

Extreme Battle Drive goes on until Yukimura is on the verge of death.
The Flame Element is unusable.
On top of that, received damage is greatly amplified.





26.1 Kabukimono*, Dance!
[Katamukimono ga Odoru]

After pressing the taunt button and dancing, the surrounding enemies
and allies both start dancing.


26.2 Comrade's Gauntlet
[Sen'yuu no Kote]

Grabbing skills can catch not only enemies, but allies too.


26.3 Black Flare
[Kuro no Honoo]

During the stage, defense power is added to attack power.
However, defense power becomes 0.


26.4 Chousokabe Cheering Squad Flag
[Chousokabe Ouendanki]

When health level reaches the red zone, the cheering resounds,
turning all normal combo attacks into critical hits. Aniki! Aniki!


26.5 One More Sword
[Mou Hitotsu no Tsurugi]

Kasuga goes into battle with clones.
These clones do not disappear as long as health doesn't reach
the red zone.





27.1 Mysterious Candy
[Fushigi na Konpeito]

For 1 minute Ranmaru is in perfect form.
However, after 1 minute 75% Health is lost.


27.2 Cicada Shell's Hidden Secret
[Utsusemi no Kyokui]


When the health level reaches the red zone, the skill
"Cicada Shell Technique" is automatically activated up to 3 times. 


27.3 Queen of Beasts
[Hyakujuu no Jouou]

The animals' abilities are drawn out.
The skills connected with the animals, the Basara attack,
and attacks while mounted increase in damage.


27.4 "Beauty leads to a Short Life" Mask
["Kajin Hakumei" no Kamen]

In exchange of gradually declining health, this stage's
obtained money will increase.


27.5 "Return from Hell" Fragrance
[Kousengaeri no Kaori]

Only once, when health level reaches zero, the Basara technique
activates.
If it was possible to recover health while performing the Basara....





28.1 Sun Crown
[Nichirin no Kanmuri]


The activation of skills that deal with traps cannot be interrupted.


28.2 War Rose
[Senbara]

When taunting, many roses bloom.
Enemies touched by the roses are frozen.


28.3 Master Swordsman's Sake Bottle
[Kengou no Tokuri]

Every time Divine Water or Ebisu's Keg are used, hits on Primed
enemies increase. Functional until damage is received. 


28.4 Exploding Fuu Rin Ka Zan
[Bakuretsu Fuurinkazan]

While the Basara skill is in effect, all the enemies in the stage are primed.


28.5 Beloved Wife's Lunchbox
[Aisai Bentou]


For 1 minute, Matsu is present.
While she is present, every time you eat something strength
increases slightly.





29.1 Plasma Emission Equipment
[Purazuma Hassei Souchi]


When using the skill "Attack Mode", the bullets become plasma shots.


29.2 Butterfly Hairpin
[Kochou no Kanzashi]

The normal combo attacks become graceful physical techniques.
Repeatedly pressing the normal combo button enables
continuous attacks.


29.3 Poster for recruiting new believers	
[Nyuushin Shinja Boshuu no Harigami]

Defeated enemies become believers of the Zabii sect
If the believers increase, the amount of money at the end of the stage
skyrockets.


29.4 Forgot the Hammer!
[Hanma-- Wasureta!]

Itsuki goes to fight forgetting the hammer.
She fights with bare hands, but cannot guard or evade.


29.5 Niten Ichi Style Vulgar Secret Skill
[Niten'ichiryuu Hiougi]

The taunt attack is powered up.





30.1 Whirlwind's lost item (Heroes Only)
[Senpuu no Otoshimono]

Midair hits gain +1 Hit attribute.
Moreover, For every enemy defeated in midair a +5 money
bonus is awarded.


30.2 Houjou House Endless Moxa Cauterization (Heroes Only)
[Houjouke Mugenkyuu]

The Skill "The Best Moxa Cauterization"'s active time is
lengthened, and even if damage is received the moxa will
not fall.
Moreover, +1 Hit attribute is added.


30.3 Anger of the Guardian Deity (Heroes Only)
[Shugojin no Okori]

The skill "Honda Tadakatsu, come into battle" can be activated without
risk of being interrupted. 
Moreover, Tadakatsu's bullets become plasma shots.


30.4 Legendary Stage (Heroes Only)
[Densetsu no Butai]

When the skill "7-colored Grand Gala" is executed the surrounding
enemies begin dancing.


30.5 Bathing Emperor Temple (Heroes Only)
[Furo Teiin]

The Skill "Special Choice, Muscle Ball" can't be interrupted during its
activation.
Also, damage received while "Special Choice, Muscle Ball" is in effect
decreases.

Basara attacks gain +1 Hit Bonus


8.2 Two Blades uniting Spirit and Skill
[Shingi Ittai Nimaiba]

When Physical Strength and the Basara gauge are maxed out
normal attacks gain +1 Hit Bonus.


8.3 Bewitched Sword's Scabbard
[Youtou no Saya]

+1 Hit Bonus to normal attacks. However, the Basara Gauge
does not fill up.


8.4 Consecutive Strikes of Enlightenment
[Satori no Rengeki]

+1 Hit Bonus to normal attacks. However, Guarding and Evading
become unusable.


8.5 Ephemeral Battle Gear
[Setsuna no Sengu]

+1 Hit Bonus to normal attacks. However, Input time for Combos
is shortened.


9.1 Pursuit Strike Reins
[Tsuigeki no Tedzuna]

+1 Hit Bonus to normal attacks while mounted


9.2 Concealed Sword of Curse
[Noroi no Kakushi Tsurugi]

+1 Hit Bonus to normal attacks. However, received damage is
multiplied by 3.



9.3 Concealed Sword of Cursing Destruction
[Jumetsu no Kakushi Tsurugi]

+2 Hit Bonus to normal attacks. However, received damage is
multiplied by 5.


14.5 Portrait of the Goddess of Victory
[Shouri no Megamizou]

Every Stage of the Grand Tournament mode is started with full HP.


15.5 Secret Treasures Detector
[Hihou Tanchiki]

During Story Mode, by getting close to a hidden treasure the controller
vibrates, and when it appears the chest will glow.
