New Game+
After the end of the credits at the end of the game, you are asked to save for a new game. All weapons except the 5th of each type transfer over. Peace Bell, Lucky Cat, Wood Mat, and Ink Pot are the only Holy Artifacts that transfer over. Brush techniques do not transfer over. Stats do transfer over.

Secrets
Loading screen demon fangs trick
There are two loading screens in Okami:
The first one is a trail of paw prints followed by a picture of Issun, you can make the paw prints bigger by pressing X a little bit before they appear.
The second is a screen where pressing X multiple times will place a number of paw prints on the screen.
On particularly long loading sessions one can attain demon fangs. By carefully pressing X on the "trail" loading screen all the way through where you would normally see Issun, you will see big paw prints and a demon fang. The second type press X as fast as you can until you see a demon fang. Each time you do this correctly those demon fangs will be added to your inventory.

Exterminator Difficulty
Finish the game once in normal mode (in any of the first four difficulties) to unlock the 5-star Exterminator difficulty (and challenge mode). Now you can either select the Exterminator difficulty when you play your game again in challenge mode or you can start a new game from scratch in the Exterminator difficulty.

Secrets
Free Ammo
Go to any Boss Battle and play it. When you start, the game will automatically reload all of your weapon's ammo. Exit the challenge and your ammo on all of your weapons will be reloaded for free. This way you do not have to spend your bolts on ammo.

Massive Weapon Experience & Bolts
After gaining access to the Battledome Challenge "Endzone", use the Holoshield Launcher and/or Mini-Turret Launcher with Shock Mod equipped. After setting up the shields and turrets, equip whatever weapon you want to upgrade, making sure you have the Shock mod equipped. Complete the challenge and repeat until you upgrade your weapons to the desired level. After being able to buy Experience/Jackpot Mods, max out the alphamods on the weapon of your choice to rapidly get to lvl 99 weapons and/or make millions of Bolts.

Unlock Hard Mode and Time Attack mode
After beating the main game, watch all the credits all the way through. After they are finished you have the option to save your game. Save it and you will unlock both Hard and Time Attack Mode.
Unlockable How to Unlock Hard Mode After beating the game, you have the option to start a new game in Hard Mode on the title screen. Time Attack Hard Mode Beat the game in Hard Mode Time Attack Mode Load your save data after completing the game. White Agro
Complete both Normal Time Attack and Hard Time Attack to receive all 16 items. Then, at the main menu, hold the "circle" button when selecting New Game, New Game (Hard Mode) or Load Game. Once the game starts, Agro will now be white.

Secrets
Increase health and stamina with Lizards and Fruit.
The white lizards crawling around in many areas of the game can be eaten to increase Stamina. Equip the bow and shoot the lizard, then press the Circle button to pick up and eat it.
Many of the trees within the game carry Fruit that can be used to restore and increase your Maximum Health slightly.
Equip the bow and shoot at the Fruit hanging in the tree, once it drops go over and press the Circle button to eat it.Contributed By: Nota.
Reminiscence Mode
After killinga Colossus, you can go back to their petrified bodies and by pressing Circle, your character will kneel down and pray. This opens Reminiscence Mode, a mode where you can find the Colossus again as though it were a flashback.

This secret is on the level PERU - Return to Paraiso. After the cutscene, if you look to the right hand side on the ground theres a football that can be kicked by standing next to it and pressing triangle, kick the ball past the dummy in front of you and into the gap between the two fences (theres a banner attached to the tops of them). When the ball passes between the fences someone shouts GOAL!
