    The legendary Z fighters & the most evil of villans in the galaxy return in 
    spike's latest creation in the Tenkaichi series, Dragon Ball Z Budokai 
    Tenkaichi 3 on the ps2. New moves, new stages, new characters, & a whole new
    soundtrack to boot, what more could you want from the latest DBZ game? I've 
    decided to get some character FAQ's done due to my recent haitus period from
    walkthroughs (many of which still need to be finished!) whilst i've also been
    doing other projects & getting chance to enjoy some awesome & dare i say 
    classic retro gaming ^_^
    
    This walkthrough is a character FAQ & due to the numerous new moves, & tweaks
    to the tenkaichi combat system, the FAQ has been primarily composed for the
    purpose of getting the most if not the best out of your chosen character/s.
    
    The character FAQ is for newcomers, beginners, & experts alike & I do hope you
    will find it a useful resource for this amazing game, so let's get started

    2) Character profile:- Videl

    Videl is the only daughter of Hercule, the world's self- proclaimed
    Champion. She and Gohan go to Orange Star High School.
    
    She has a sense for hand to hand fighting that surpasses her father's.
    She is an extremely lively tomboy that stops the rampaging villans in
    Hercule City, One can see her intellectual side as well.
    
    She was clever enough to figure out the true identity of Gohan's Great
    Sayiaman routine. She did this by tricking Gohan with some leading questions.
    
    Having discovered his true identity, she demands that Gohan promise to help 
    her practice and master flying. It is during this time of practice that she
    see's Gohan for who he truly is. She starts to harbor feelings of love in the
    rush of the Buu saga, and many years after Buu's defeat she marries Gohan and
    gives birth to a daughter, Pan
    
    In DragonBall GT, her personality has become calmer and she has distanced 
    herself from fighting. However when Super #17 appears, her martial artist
    blood boils, and there is a scene where she transforms in to great Saiyaman 2
    to fight.

    3) Why choose Videl?
    - - - - - - - - - - -
    
    Videl, out of all the "ordinary" characters in this game is perhaps the most
    powerful if not the easiest to master. While she has few moves in her normal
    state they prove effective & powerful allowing for her to make the most of her
    combo's. Videl has slightly low defence & her attack power suffers slightly 
    too, add to that her small health capacity (She is only Human!!) this can 
    weigh the character down but it can be improved all thanks to the use of the
    potaras. Videl has a transformation in her arsenal of moves, yes a 
    transformation. Sadly it's not nearly as amazing or jaw dropping as some of 
    the other character's forms in this game but it's here none the less so you
    may as well make the best use of it. In her "normal" state Videl is unable
    to perform the high speed movement or counter certain moves using this 
    technique & her normal Ki blasts are nothing at all to write home about,
    having said that Videl has impressive speed & as i was saying once transformed
    she can perform high speed rush movement along with some other moves she could
    not perform in her base form. I like the character of Videl & in previous DBZ
    games she's been very impressive dispite her inability to utilize Ki blasts &
    a super powerful finishing move. Once you have effective potara on Videl she
    can be considered a much more mid tier character who certainly puts up a good
    fight & should give you much enjoyment from the game. Videl is great for DP 
    battles, her DP count is only 2 & if you only have 2 pts left choose her
    she's more a 4 point character if you ask me but oh well your gain!! 
    Take your time learning her moves & you will be glad to know unlike other 
    normal characters who cannot remain in the air to fly, Videl can thanks to 
    Gohan teaching her how to fly in the series! What are you waiting for?

    5) Recommended Z items==

    You are very welcome to choose your own potara's to equip, here i've simply
    given a recomendation of how Videl should be equipped to make full use of
    her moves & abilities.

    A good custom setup like this ensures Videl's attack is increased slightly
    her defence is boosted also. Rising fighting spirit will let her start any
    battle with a full Ki gauge so try to gain the advantage with a speedy right
    off the mark videl rush. Master Roshi's training is a must for Videl, her 
    health is by default very low & this will boost it by 10,000 you could try
    King Kai's training but it's costly & may not be as effective for other 
    purposes recommended here. Lastly combo master will ensure combos & barrage
    attacks do more damage but mostly we just want it here for Videl's combo

    As with the last setup the health boost is still equipped & again
    attack & defence increase slightly, however this time you use active
    heart which increases the rate of Ki recovery while you perfom your
    rush attacks & that's not all, thanks to Dende's healing ability Videl
    can now slowly recover her health which makes up for the initial low
    health stat as well as being a pretty cool potara to recover your health
    now & again!

    If you are wanting more aggresive & combat versed Videl this is a good setup
    which makes the most of previously said potara's but it gives Videl's supers
    (special moves) some extra power as her special moves all involve rush type
    attacks as she uses no Ki blasts, a good alternative most of the time & I
    use it often.

    6) Tips & stratergies==

    > Transforming as soon as the blast gauge hits 1 is a good idea, not only
      will Videl transform but she will gain access to some equally powerful
      moves & be able to perform those she could not previously
    
    > Utilize the sonic sway technique & master it, this can give Videl the 
      opportunity to counter attack. Sonic sway allows you to rapidly avoid a
      flurry of punches & kicks followed up with an automatic counter attack!
    
    > Remember that Videl's rush special moves will not work on giant characters
      such as Slug & others, so use your Ki more effectively by going in to max
      power mode & using the violent rush, rack up a large combo to still inflict
      large damage upon giant characters who have  a slight advantage over Videl.

    7) Videl's red potara password ==

    Red Potara are special from ordinary potara, they grant super enhanced 
    properties & cannot be obtained by normal means like your standard potara
    used to customize your fighters through evolution Z. In order to obtain
    the red potara you must "cheat" so to speak, go to the 'data centre' on
    the main menu & then input the following password:

    Now on the character select screen under password character you will have
    a Videl, but not just any Videl oh no! This is a super Videl with stats
    pushed far beyond normal limits, have fun trashing any opponent with the
    iron maiden!
    
    I should also mention that you will only be able to use red potara characters
    in duel & ultimate battle modes, which does take a little of the fun out of it
    but it's another extra feature you can use to see Videl at her most powerful!

       Q. Videl is absolutely useless her rush attacks suck right?
       
       A.True that while Videl only uses rush/dash type special moves which
         will not work on Giant enemies such as Slug etc she can be used in
         various ways & the potara section contained within this FAQ will help
         you overcome the weaknesses & improve on Videl's strengths, lets not be
         completely critical here, there are other worse characters in the game...
    
       Q. Videl's Ki blast, is it really worth doing?
    
       A. Well each to thier own I guess but i would advise against it & if you
          do use it, don't charge it up. The reason i say this is that it's so
          ridiculously slow that your opponent will easily avoid it or they could
          just stand there & taunt you, try to stay away from this, Videl's a 
          fighter & martial artist so lets keep it at that shall we?
