Black names in fusion?

I just tried to fuse an Alice (Death, lvl 72) from Belial and Nebrios. All the potential fusions for the Nebrios were in the normal white-on-blue text boxes, except Alice, which was in a blackish-purplish one with white text. The fusion went fine, nothing special happened, but I've never seen this with any other fusion. Does anyone know why, or what it means?

The Purple Box means that its a Special Fusion.

Certain personas can only be fused by certain other personas like,
Rangda+Barong=Shiva or Clotho+Lachesis+Atropos=Norn
