    Introduction
    ------------
You think you can handle singing the greatest hits from today's hottest
stars? From Rihanna to Maroon 5, Singstar Pop 2 has something for every
    one.

Bascially Singstar Pop holds a good selection of songs you'll find on the
Billboard Hot 100. Singstar has really improved it's song selection by
choosing a good variety of genres. This version also features Rap, found
only in Pop and RnB volumes (and Greatest Hits Collections).

    1 - How It Works
    -------------------

      1.1 - Microphones

No, Singstar cannot be played with just any regular old microphones.
You MUST use the Singstar Microphones and no other. However these
Singstar Microphones can be used for other karaoke games. Disney
Sing It! and High School Musicial Sing It! Karaoke Microphones can
also be used. Blue microphone usually means Player 1. Red = Player 2.

      1.2 - Game Modes

          - Solo

Solo. You sing solo and compete in rankings. Duet songs must be split
into halves to be sung (ie you sing Timbaland's part, not Nelly's)
There is also the option of singing 2 Player, in which case one song
is sung between two players. All songs will become Duets and all expect
for the two original Duet songs will have new features.

Singstar Pop II features rapping. Umbrella, Promiscous and Get It Shawty
all have rapping parts that can be turned off if chosen. Rapping is a
new feature to Singstar. Basically it's notes who's pitches are not shown.
Rap is scored based both of speed and pitch. If you hit each word on
the beat then you will get some points. However rap also has pitches. Mea
ning that words spoken loudly need to be spoken loudly. Get It Shawty
has the easiest rapping parts as the lyrics are slower. Jay-Z's part in
Umbrella is the most difficult as the lyrics are somewhat unintellegable
and very fast. Promiscuous is easier as the lyrics are clearer. Nelly's
verses are somewhat easier than Timbaland's, although her vocals are
    more difficult.

          - Party

Rounds of singing for more than two people. Divided into teams. For
this RAP scoring is always on.

Rapping is counted off im Umbrella however.

      1.3 - Ranking

You can rank your scores in each song. The game starts out with several
already made records but they are low and easy to beat.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    2 - Track Listing
    -----------------
This section will feature singing tips for each song.

      2.1 - 3 Doors Down - When I'm Gone
This song is very easy to sing.

      2.2 - Ashlee Simpson - Boyfriend
This song is very easy to sing. The "Ha" in the beginning is
a freestyle score so you don't have to worry. The latter of the song
has a different chorus than the first. Be careful.

2.3 - Avril Lavigne - My Happy Ending
This song is one of the easiest to sing. Watch out for breathing
    control.

2.4 - Boys Like Girls - The Great Escape
Very difficult if sung in original voice. Try to use falseletto
in some parts. You'll sound weird, but score well.

      2.5 - Colbie Caillat - Bubbly
Easiest song in game. I'm serious.

2.6 - Dixie Chicks - Not Ready To Make Nice
Very difficult if you don't know the song. The tone changes in
the second half of the song.

      2.7 - Duran Duran - Oridinary World
This song is very easy to sing.

2.8 - Evanscence - Bring Me To Life
A very hard to sing song. There are two ways you can sing this.
One is to use an falestto (high pitched) voice that is much like
Amy's. Another is to sing in a lower tone (which is much easier). There
is a high note near the end of the song that lasts for nearly 20 seconds.

2.9 - Fall Out Boy - Thnks Fr Th Mrmrs
Very difficult if you don't know the song.

      2.10 - Fergie - Big Girls Don't Cry
Another extremely easy song. Big Girls Don't Cry has no particular
long notes or high pitches. Notes seperate into even sections.

2.11 - Gwen Stefani - The Sweet Escape
Moderate song. Akon's higher notes are difficult. Gwen sings
several fast paced lyrics which you have to watch out for.

2.12 - The Hives - Tick Tick Boom
Basically the only real rock song here. Watch out for the long
high notes and the overall rock tone. Using a pop style approach won't
score you many points. Note that boom is freestyle while the ticks
    usually are not.

2.13 - Jennifer Lopez - Jenny From The Block
A song with a very long introduction. Fairly easy to sing.

      2.14 - Lifehouse - First Time
Another boy band pop song. This one is slighter easier than
The Great Escape in terms of chorus but can be difficult if you
don't know the song very well.

      2.15 - Lily Allen - Littlest Things
Lily Allen has an very unique voice-hence making this song very
difficult to sing. Try listening to the preview before tackling this song.

2.16 - Lloyd - Get It Shawty (Rap)
Song with rap parts in it. The singing is easy as long as you watch
your breath. The real challenge is the rapping, but with practice you
should be able to get it.

      2.17 - Maroon 5 - Makes Me Wonder
A very interesting song. Moderate difficulty. The video is very int
eresting to watch. The higher notes can be reached by straining your voice
a bit or by whistling it through.

      2.18 - Matchbox 20 - How Far We've Come
A song with a catchy chorus, this is very easy to sing.

      2.19 - Michelle Branch - Breathe
Basically a slightly more difficult version of Big Girls Don't Cry.
Breathe has some long range higher pitch notes in between easy short
    notes.

2.20 - Nelly Furtado - Promiscuous (Duet) (Rap)
You can choose whether to rap or not. Without the rap this song is
still extremely difficult. Although you may be very familiar with this
song you will still find it extremely difficult to sing. The rap is short
and difficult to match while the higher ranges of Nelly Furtado's parts
is extremely difficult to sing. Usually you will tend to get better with
Timbaland's vocals than Nelly's. Both rap parts are extremely difficult.

      2.22 - Norah Jones - Don't Know Why
Another of the easiest songs possible. This is very slow and the only
highlight is the suspended note in the end.

      2.23 - The Outfit - Your Love
A hit from the golden times, Your Love is actually very easy to sing.
    It's very repetitive.

2.24 - Peter Bjorn and John - Young Folks (Duet)
You can choose between Peter's vocals or Victoria's. Peter sings
first. It's a rather easy song to sing. You will want to watch out for the
chorus in the end as it changes.

      2.25 - P!nk - Who Knew
Pink tones down her rocker chick style in Who Knew. Again a moderate
song to sing. If you know the song well then there's no reason to score
    some high points here.

      2.26 - Plain White T's - Hey There Delilah
Finally an easy song sung by a guy (for all your guys too squemish
to belt out to Fergie). No expections, very easy song.

      2.27 - Rihanna - Umbrella (Rap)
You have a choice of rapping Jay-Z's rap in the intro verse. The rap
is very hard and will require a lot of practice. The actual singing is
very easy and the only note that proves some difficuly is the longer
two pitch note near the very end.

      2.28 - Santana - Into The Night
Chad C from Nickelback sings the song, rather than Santana. Another
rock ballad, this one is one of the harder songs.

      2.29 - Steriogram - Walkie Talkie Man
Pure punk rock, walkie talkie man is very difficult if you're not into
    the style.

      2.30 - Sum 41 - Fat Lip
Again, this is another punk rock song and is very difficult if you
    don't know the style well.
