Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories
Question from Furry_monkey123
Asked: 4 years agoI have been hearing that this game works on some PS3's. None of the other PS2 games work on my PS3, is this a rumor or true?

statusIt will run untill the tutorial battle in Traverse Town, then it will glitch and not go any further...or so I've heard.
Depends on which version of the PS3 you got and sheer luck, I'm running it fine on my 60 Gig
If you go to this website it will give you the information about whether your ps3 is backwards compatible.

Then click on the first question in the list.
Either it will be compatible with your system, and run just fine, or it will not be compatible, in which case it will get to the tutorial, ask you to do all the different actions, and then just kind of sit there. If it isn't compatible, you can find a way around this by downloading a save right after the Tutorial (you don't miss much). I agree with the above post in looking up the compatibility.
No, KH-ReCOM doesn't include any special tricks along those lines. It works on PS3 models that support backward compatibility with PS2 games.
Check for PS and PS2 game compatibility at www.us.playstation.com/Support/CompatibleStatus.
BTW, a firmware update (v2.60 or newer) can fix the tutorial-freeze problem on 80 GB PS3 models. Learn more at www.us.playstation.com/Support/SystemUpdates/PS3.
