I. Introduction
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This walkthrough will cover the whole game, including the childhood and future
arcs.

It will guide you throughout the game so you may gather the subevents, skits
and trophies in one go.

Please note that this walkthrough was written using the Japanese version of
the game. I do not plan to buy the US version since I live in Europe, meaning
I will sometimes use the Japanese official names when mentioning characters,
locations items, or gameplay mechanics. If you're willing to help me update
the walkthrough, please contact me by MP. I'll give you credits for your help,
of course.

III. A few things to know
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let's start with a few random things that can be useful to clear the game and
snatch the trophies, or get some Grade.

- Walking on a save point resets both eleth meters, even if you don't actually
save. It can be useful if you want to cancel an incoming Eleth Break, but it
also means you have to do a few battle without saving if you want to prepare
your Eleth Burst

About the trophies, the developers didn't bother much with them. You'll get
most of them if you follow this walkthrough. The only things that I won't
really mention is getting lots of titles with everyone, and getting the eleth
mixer to max capacity.

- For the mixer, miso soup is the best recipe. Use it with other books to
speed up the process. Otherwise, try have the mixer cook a lot.

- For titles, a good half of them are about using artes a lot. It's much
easier to do in Graces f than in the Wii version, though. The fastest way for
most characters is probably to go to the arena in normal rank, equip a title
that recovers CC when you kill an enemy, and spam like crazy.

- Be aware of this however: Asbel, Sophie, Hubert and Richard's physical artes,
whether alpha or beta, need to connect and make the enemy stagger to increase
the count. Spells are fine. So are any of Cheria, Malik and Pascal's artes.

- Talk to everyone: humans, cats, dogs, cows, and anything that you can "talk"
to. You need to talk with a lot of different people for titles with Pascal.

About the trophies that require to defeat a boss under one minute:

- Save your game, defeat the boss quickly, using items to speed the process if
you need to, and reload once you have the trophy.
- It can be a good idea to prepare your eleth meter beforehand, especially
near the end of the game. The more you go into eleth burst in a row, the more
eleth time you'll get each time.
- Lowering the difficulty means the boss is weaker, but it also means your
maximum Eleth Burst time is lower. Find a good balance between the two.
- Abuse Eleth Burst. Mystic artes do lots of damage while stopping the
chronometer. I defeated the future arc final boss under 60 seconds in Chaos
difficulty without even trying just thanks to a 38 seconds long Eleth Burst.

Now about Grade, I'll let you know about those, in case you want to plan your
playthrough accordingly:

- You earn 100 Grade for clearing the game without anyone dying. A bit hard if
you consider the enemies' mystic artes.
- You also earn 100 Grade if you clear the game without using gels. It's not
too hard to get that one.
- You earn Grade for clearing the game quickly. Max is 100, but it quickly
decreases. Not worth it on your first playthrough. Better earn much more grade
through other means.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV. Walkthrough
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV.1 Chapter 1 (Childhood)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant Hill

You start in a dungeon named Lhant Hill with two characters, Asbel and Hubert.
The game has three kinds of locations: Towns, Dungeons and Fields. Although
this place is called a dungeon, it's actually quite small.

The enemies here respawn so you may fight them to get used to the mechanics of
the game. If you need to, you can drink at the nearby water source to
replenish your HP.

That water source is one of the many discoveries of the game, but since we do
not have the discovery book at this point, we can't record it yet.

You can, however, see your first skit nearby. (Skit #1)

In one of the treasure chests, you'll find a glassphere. Those items will be
exchanged for 100 Gald when you clear the Childhood arc.

Anyway, walk along the path until you see a scene. Sophie will join the party.

Before we go on, just a few things about Sophie. First of all, she knows the
burst (beta arte) First Aid. However, the burst menu is turned off in the
childhood arc, so it's not possible to ask the AI to use that spell. You may
change the strategy settings if you want her to heal you more often though.
Next, Sophie will keep her artes and artes counts when you clear the childhood
arc and start the adult arc, but Asbel and Hubert won't, as they'll change
their battle style. For those two reasons, I tend to control Sophie myself
during the childhood arc. Although you don't have access to the menu, you can
still use First Aid by pressing the burst button. Besides, you'll be able to
increase her artes counts more than what the AI could ever do, thus starting
with more titles in the next part of the game.

Once Sophie is in the party, go back down the hill and get near the save point
for a skit. (Skit #2)

You may leave the place now.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

North Lhant Road

This is the first field of the game. Fields are basically roads that connect
towns and dungeons together. You can find people and monsters on fields.

You'll also find shiny spots here and there. Search them for money or random
items.
Among the notable items you can find on fields, please note that you can find
a carta on each field of the game (there's an exception though). North Lhant
Road's Carta is #4.
You may also find garbage (strangely enough, those are quite rare) when
searching the shiny spots. Gather 15 of them as soon as possible, you will
need them for a subevent later in the game.

Anyway, walk east, and you'll see a skit near the save point before the town.
(Skit #369)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

As soon as you enter this town, Cheria joins the party as a NPC. Walk east and
on the bridge for a skit. (Skit #3)

Now go northeast near the manor to speak with Cheria's grandfather, Frederic.

After the scene, enter the manor, go up the stairs and on your right to find
Asbel and Hubert's room. You'll find the monster book on a desk and a skit.
(Skit #4)

Back to the main hall of the manor, you'll find a skit near the save point.
(Skit #5)

Now go back to the bridge in the middle of the town and speak with Bailey.

Keep going on and walk southwest. A scene should trigger and you will get the
discovery book. You may speak with the soldier again and answer his questions
for 100 Gald.

Check the apple tree behind him to record your first discovery. (Discovery #1)
Immediately after that, a skit should show up. (Skit #6)
Note that every discovery you'll find will make a skit appear once it's
recorded.

Before we leave the town, let's gather Lhant's discoveries. First, get near
the windmill. (Discovery #2)
To see the skit, you'll have to climb the ladder. (Skit #7)

Next, go back to Lhant's manor and check the painting on the stairs.
(Discovery #3) (Skit #8)

Now you may leave the town from the southwest exit.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

West Lhant Road

As soon as you enter the field, check the save point for a skit. (Skit #9)

A bit further, you'll find a tree with huge fruits on the ground. (Discovery
#4) (Skit #10)

Keep following the road and you'll see a scene. Once it's over, walk near the
save point for a new skit. (Skit #11)

Before walking back to Lhant, talk with the nearby Turtlez to learn about
dualize and get the dualize book.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

You'll see a scene near the manor with Asbel and Hubert's mother, Kerri.
Cheria will leave the party. Go talk to her to record your first subevent in
your travel log. (Subevent #1 cleared)

All cleared and recorded subevents will give 5 Grade at the end of the game,
as well as various rewards... most of the time.

Now go in the manor and the door on your left to speak with Asbel and Hubert's
father, Aston.

Immediately after the scene, go up the stairs in the hall and on your left
this time. The second and last recorded event of the childhood arc should
trigger. (Subevent #2 cleared)

Now leave the manor. Sophie will get her name, and Cheria will join again as a
NPC. Before we leave, go back to the manor to see a skit in Asbel's room.
(Skit #12)

For those who can't stand playing in semi-auto mode, the manual book can be
bought in Lhant's shop, but you can find one for free later.

Leave Lhant from the southeast exit.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

East Lhant Highroad

As soon as you exit the town, walk near the save point for a skit. (Skit #13)

Now go down the slope nearby for a new discovery. (Discovery #5) (Skit #14)

Go back up and east for a quick fight. After that, go back to the save point
for another skit. (Skit #15)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

Go in the garden in front of the manor and on the right side to enter through
the window. After the scene, Hubert and Cheria leave, and Richard joins as a
NPC. You may see a skit near the bridge. (Skit #16)

Your destination is Lhant Hill.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant Hill

Now that we have the discovery book, we can record the water spring. There's
no skit for this one since you already saw it at the beginning of the game.
(Discovery #6)

Save and go on for the first boss of the game.

Boss: Bryce
Trophy: Bryce in 60 Seconds
This battle and this trophy should be easy if you control Sophie. Watch out on
higher difficulties because Asbel's weaker and takes more damage from this
guy's attacks. He can also use the enemy-only spells Flame Drive and Inverse
Pressure, both of which can be avoided by side-stepping.

After the scene, you will wake up down the cliff, and Richard will join as a
playable character. Same deal as Asbel and Hubert, Richard will not keep his
artes in the adult arc. Anyway, you should see a skit somewhere near your
starting point. (Skit #18)

Start climbing the cliff, and be careful not to fall off again. Midway through,
you should see a nest on your right. (Discovery #7) (Skit #20)

A bit further, two bears will attack you. Defeat them to see a new skit. (Skit
#19)

Once you're back on top of the hill, go near the tree for a scene, a discovery,
and two skits. (Discovery #8) (Skit #21) (Skit #22)

Now leave the hill, checking near the water source for one more skit. (Skit
#17)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

After the scene, you'll get Richard's ring, and he will leave the group. Go to
East Lhant Highroad.

East Lhant Highroad

As usual, you'll see a skit near the save point. You should start getting used
to it by now. (Skit #23)

A bit further, you should find a treasure chest with the manual book. If
you've already bought it in a shop, you'll find 100 Gald instead.

After the event, you'll find a skit near the save point of the hut. (Skit #24)

Keep walking east and you'll find cows. One of them should be of a different
color than the others. (Discovery #9) (Skit #25)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Port to Barona

Nothing to do here. Just talk to the captain to go to your next destination.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona

Walk towards the town and Cheria will join as a NPC again. In the inn, you'll
find a skit near the save point. (Skit #26)

Now Asbel wants to go to the castle. Take the northern passage, walking
between the city's shops, and you'll reach another plaza. Take the stairs on
your left. You'll notice the passage to the left is obstructed, so keep going
on until you reach the castle and talk to one of the soldiers.

Now go back to the obstructed passage, which isn't anymore, and near the
Valkines Cryas. Richard will join. Now check the Valkines Cryas. (Discovery
#10) (Skit #28)

In the inn, you'll see two more skits at the save point. (Skit #27) (Skit #29)

We're supposed to leave Barona, but first, we can do a little subevent for the
fun of it. Exit the inn and walk east for a scene with Malik. Notice that
there's also a student named Victoria in front of the knight training school...
Please note that this subevent is completely optional, is not recorded in the
travel log, and doesn't give you any reward.

Anyway, go north until you leave the city.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

North Barona Road

Just go north up the cliff for a scene, then go back to the city.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona

Go to the inn for a scene. Richard will leave and Hubert will join (yes, those
two can't seem to be in the team at the same time).

By night, leave and go north. When you reach the second plaza, go east to find
the sanctuary. After a scene, you'll be able to enter.

Check the water on the right side of the wall. (Discovery #11) (Skit #30)

Then, check the left side for the next dungeon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona Catacombs

The path is quite straightforward here. You should find a stone door you can't
open on your way. Get near it for a skit. (Skit #370)

A bit further, you'll find a save point with a skit. (Skit #31)

This should be the last skit of the childhood arc. If you're ready, then move
on for a boss.

Boss: Monarch Bat
Not a very difficult battle. Kill the two bats then focus on the boss. Watch
out for his enemy-only spell, Dark Sliver.

After a long scene, you'll get a trophy.

Trophy: Childhood's End

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV.2 Chapter 2 (Adult arc part 1)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Orlen Woods

You start the adult arc with a battle. Nothing special, you'll see that you
now have access to the burst menu and the two Eleth Meters.

Anyway, after the battle, you'll get the eleth mixer. Watch the tutorial to
learn how to use it. A few advices for starters, try to put recipes that
activate easily to increase the mixer energy capacity as much as possible.
Also, put a few items to be created, this will eventually increase the number
of slots the mixer has. The max energy capacity is 9999 and the max number of
slots is 16 (reaching 16 slots is insanely long though). Luckily, you only
need to max the energy capacity for a trophy.

After this tutorial, Malik joins. As usual, you'll see a skit near the save
point. (Skit #32)

Explore the forest. Near the bridge, check the flowers. (Discovery #12) (Skit
#33)

Make sure you drop the rock in the water for a shortcut, then keep going until
you reach a village in ruins. Malik will leave the group for now.

Save if you wish, then go to the west side of the village, then east side,
then back to the west side and a boss will attack.

Boss: Nova Wolf
There's no need to rush at this boss when the battle starts. It will activate
its nova barrier, and all your damage to him will drop to 1. After a while,
Asbel will learn a new burst that can destroy enemies' nova barriers.
Basically, any attack that has the nova attribute can destroy nova barriers.
However, the attack needs to have the attribute intrinsically. Using a spell
red charge will not work.

Kill the boss and Malik will join again. Skit at the nearby save point. (Skit
#34)

Now exit the woods.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

North Barona Road

As you exit the forest, Malik will give you the world map. Follow the path and
check the tea field south of the road for a discovery. (Discovery #13) (Skit
#35)

Keep going west and up the cliff for a scene and a skit. (Skit #36)

Now go south to reach Barona.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona

As you enter the city, you'll notice the ice cream stand on the right.
(Discovery #14) (Skit #38)

Buy a few things in various shops until you get the fidelity cards.

Now go inside the inn for two skits. (Skit #37) (Skit #371)
The second skit will show up only if you have the fidelity cards.

While we're here, let's explore a bit. In one of the inn's rooms, you'll find
a princess book. (Subevent #60)

West of the inn, near the stairs to the port, you'll find some seeds.
(Subevent #56)

Now go to the bar. Before entering, open the nearby treasure chest for a doll
(Subevent #61)

Inside the bar, and after the scene, check the shiny spot in the corner.

Bring the documents back at the inn's requests for an event and a title for
Asbel. (Subevent #18 cleared)

Now go to the knight school. Cheria will join as an NPC and Malik will leave.

In the knight school is a chest. The password is treasure.

As you leave the school, check the statue nearby. (Discovery #15) (Skit #39)

If you wish, you can speak with one of the soldiers in front of the castle for
a subevent. It's not recorded and doesn't give any reward though.

Anyway, take the boat: your next destination is Lhant.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

East Lhant Highroad

You'll trigger a fight near the hut, and Cheria will finally be playable.
As usual, you'll see a skit near the save point. (Skit #40)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

In Lhant's manor, you can find a new princess book in the library in the
bookcases in the office. (Subevent #60)

The chest in the same room has a password: aston.

You can also find a new doll in a chest near the windmill (Subevent #61)

In any case, leave through the northwest gate.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

North Lhant Road

Follow the road, and make sure you check the skit near the hill entrance.
(Skit #41)

Eventually you'll see a scene and a Helmcrusher will follow you. It's
pointless to try to fight it. Just run to Lhant Hill.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant Hill

Heal yourself at the water spring if you need to, then walk to the top of the
hill for a boss. Sophie will join the party again.

Boss: Helmcrusher
This boss can hit hard, but there's nothing special about it. The material
it'll drop is required for a lot of items, so it's a good idea to have the
eleth mixer make lots of them, because you won't be able to find more before
much further in the game.

Of course, remember to see the skit near the save point before leaving the
place. (Skit #42)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

Walk to the manor's garden for a scene.

You'll see a shiny spot in the flowers. Pick it up and to the inn request.
Well, in Lhant, it's actually a maid in the manor and not an inn, but whatever.
(Subevent #14 cleared)

If you wish, sleep in Asbel's room for a subevent. It's not recorded either,
and it doesn't grant any reward.

Go in the office room for a scene. You have to take the northwest exit again,
but you may find useful to buy a poison charm before.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

North Lhant Road

Follow the road again until you see a scene again. Now, we need to backtrack a
bit to Lhant Hill's entrance for a skit. (Skit #43)

Now go back to where you saw the scene, and you should spot a path to a cavern
on your right.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seaside Cavern

You'll spend a lot of time jumping in and out of the water here. The path is
quite straightforward to the exit (just go north all the time), but make sure
you check other passages for items.

Anyway, as soon as you enter, just before you jump in the water for the first
time, you'll see a skit, but only if you saw skit #43. (Skit #44)

After you jump out of the water, you'll find another skit. (Skit #372)

In the fourth section of the dungeon, jump in the water on the left side and
you'll find a tree. (Discovery #16) (Skit #45)

Now go back to the fourth section, and jump in the water at north. Jump
repeatedly back and forth between the fourth and fifth section until a skit
pops up. (Skit #324)

Now walk a bit further. That wall on the right sure is suspicious, eh? Anyway,
check the weeds on the left. (Discovery #17) (Skit #46)

Save. Then jump in the water at north.

Boss: Queen Slime
Trophy: Queen Slime in 60 Seconds
That's probably what should be known as a wake-up call boss. I know lots of
people had trouble with this boss. Make sure you equip your poison charms, and
watch out for all the slimes it'll summon during the battle. Once its HP run
low, it will try to divide itself into more slimes, but it's perfectly
possible to kill it before it does. A good Eleth Burst at the right time can
help just fine.

After you kill it, make sure you see the skit before you leave the dungeon.
(Skit #47)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

North Lhant Road

You're back on North Lhant Road. After a scene, you have to go back to Lhant.
Before that, check the camp. (Discovery #18) (Skit #48)

As you walk back to Lhant, make sure you see the skit near the hill entrance.
(Skit #49)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

As soon as you reach the town, you'll be thrown in a battle with only Asbel
and Hubert. You can switch to Hubert if you want to see his battle style, he
even has his first mystic arte available. It's perfectly fine to snatch his
equipment too if you want.

After the battle, go to the office in the manor.

Boss: Hubert
It's pointless to waste items here, you can't win. Just let him mystic arte
you.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

East Lhant Highroad

Your next destination is Barona Catacombs.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona Catacombs

You'll see a skit as you enter the dungeon. (Skit #50)

A bit further, Richard will join after a short battle. You should be able to
learn his first mystic arte by the way.

Now go near the stone door and make sure you see the skit before going through.
(Skit #373)

Follow the path, check the monster's skeleton. (Discovery #19) (Skit #51)

You'll get a trophy as you exit this place.

Trophy: The Lord of Lhant

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV.3 Chapter 3 (Adult arc part 2)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

South Barona Highroad

As you exit the passage, you can see that the road to the north leads to
Barona. You can't enter the city anymore, but check the cotton plants.
(Discovery #20) (Skit #52)
Note that you'll need a lot of Puffpetal Down from this discovery for a
subevent (at least 6) and requests later in the game so remember to drop by
later to gather more.

Near the hut for another battle, followed by another skit. (Skit #53)

Walk south and here joins the amazing Pascal! With by a skit. (Skit #54)

Now take the warp.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wallbridge Ruins

Ah, one of my most hated dungeons in the game. This dungeon has three exits
and moving platforms. The only trouble is that it's impossible to call back
those moving platforms from the other side. So I'll just warn you, you'll have
to come back a few times here for the story or subevents, so make sure you
remember which exit you took the time before.

Aaaaanyway. Let's look for the exit.

- Take the moving platform to the south, then the next one to the north.
- Now you can either go west or north. Go north, then west twice, then south.
Take the lift and you'll reach a save point.
- Go right first and you'll send a block to the floor above. You may go back
to the first intersection and go west for treasures if you want.
- Anyway, from the save point, go left and, I guess that's quite unusual,
you'll get into a boss fight at the beginning of the dungeon.

Boss: Mercurius
The main danger with that boss is its ability to turn you into stone. The
attack has a very long charging time, but will stone anyone around the boss.
Of course, this means you have plenty of time to run away or guard, but it's
not like the AI is clever enough to do so, is it? Don't forget that
petrification doesn't work like ToS, TotA or ToV here: a character turned into
stone can still suffer damage in Graces, so be careful if you want to clear
the game without getting anyone killed. Otherwise, it can poison you, but it's
not a very difficult battle.

After the boss, a scene, and make sure you check the machine. (Discovery #21)
(Skit #55)

Now it may be wise to go and save again.

- Anyway, from the boss platform, go left and take the lift.
- At the intersection, go west then south to hit a block.
- Go back to the intersection. This time, go south then west. The block you
pushed earlier should allow you to move further. Take the platform to the west,
then go north twice.
- There should be two lifts here. The left one has a book for the eleth mixer.
- The right one is to move on. Go east, then south.
- There will be two moving platforms here. Take the bottom one to hit a block,
then the top one and a lift.
- The block you hit earlier should be there, so walk to the next lift, then go
west. You should find a discovery a little further at north. (Discovery #22)
(Skit #56)
- Go north again and you'll see a save point. Take the lift.
- Don't bother with the platform at east for now. Take the warp at west to
finally exit the place.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gralesyde Highroad

Just follow the road until you reach the next city. Along the way, you'll find
some potatoes plants: a new discovery and two skits. (Discovery #23) (Skit
#58) (Skit #59)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gralesyde

East of the town is the completely optional port. There's a cat there, feed it
with fish if you have some.

Now go to the inn: at the save point you'll find a skit, of course. (Skit #60)

Take the door on the left and look near the back door in the corridor for
another princess book. (Subevent #60)

Take that back door now, and you'll be out of the inn. On your right you'll
get a new discovery. (Discovery #24) (Skit #61)

Now go to the main plaza, and go north. You should see a shiny spot on your
right, those are seeds again. (Subevent #56)

A bit further, after a red board, there's a hidden passage on the left. Talk
to the guy here and he'll offer to sell a book for 50000 Gald. Refuse and
he'll drop the price to 3000 Gald. Next to him is another doll. (Subevent #61)

Now before we keep on with the story, let's take care of a few things first.
Take the city's west exit.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Old Grale Highroad

That road is completely optional in the whole game, but you'll find Pascal's
first mystic arte title here. Pascal is a bit special because she'll learn her
first and second mystic artes through subevents instead of plot-related titles.

First, let's go check the carrots. (Discovery #26) (Skit #64)

Now talk to the nearby bandit three times to trigger a fight. Your new title
allows Pascal to learn her first mystic arte. (Subevent #22 cleared)

If you keep walking north, you'll end up on East Lhant Highroad.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

East Lhant Highroad

Just move a bit until a skit pops up. (Skit #65)

Now that it's done, let's go back to Gralesyde.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gralesyde

Go north to reach Dale's manor. Asbel will get his title with his first mystic
arte.

On the first floor of the manor, there's a door on the right. Take it, talk to
the maid for some cartas, and keep moving until you reach the beach. You'll
find a crab here. Dualize/Cook it with an egg, and make sure you don't eat
that recipe, we'll need it later.

On the second floor of the manor is a chest with a password: 4 (It's almost as
stupid as the 12345 password from Destiny)

Then, check the bottle. (Discovery #25) (Skit #62)

Leave Gralesyde through the south exit now.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gralesyde Highroad

Check the savepoint there for a skit. (Skit #63)

Time to go back to...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wallbridge Ruins

This time, go east, taking the platform I told you not to bother with earlier,
then north (if you go east again, you'll be back to the east entrance).
You should see two skits on the way. (Skit #57) (Skit #66)

Now take the warp to...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wallbridge

I've heard a lot of people got lost in this dungeon, and I must say I don't
know why, because I have absolutely no problem moving in this place.

Since I'm lazy, let's have a look at the manga which provides us with a nice
map of the second floor. That's the only map you need to move in this fortress.

http://www.kingdom-of-tales.net/games_pictures/5046.jpg

Basically here's what you need to remember about this place for now:
- Going to the roof is close to pointless.
- Towers B, C, F and G have ladders that allow you to go to any floor, from
the basement to the roof. We'll only use those to change floors.
- The four aforementioned towers also allow you to reach the central ground of
the fortress through the first floor. However, the doors are closed until you
clear the dungeon.
- Tower I can be entered from the second floor at east (look at the map, it's
pretty obvious).

And if you need more info about the place:
- The towers basements are connected as follow: A with B; C with D; E with F;
G with H.
- Tower E's basement has a warp to an optional part of the Wallbridge Ruins.
However, it won't work until you clear the dungeon.
- There's a shop in tower F basement.
- The save points are located in tower D basement, and on the south bridge of
the second floor (the S mark on the map).

All right. Now let's see how we clear this place. You'll see it's actually
very short if you know what to do.

- You warp in the fortress in the basement of tower D. Exit to tower C and
climb the ladder to the second floor, then go to tower B.
- Go to the basement, activate the lever.
- Exit through the door to tower A and you'll find a discovery there.
(Discovery #27) (Skit #68)
- Go back to the second floor of tower B. On this floor, you can go in tower A
for some materials and in tower E for a new book for the eleth mixer (ignore
the lever there).
- After that, go through tower F and into tower I and you'll get a key after a
scene.
- Now that you have the key, go to tower G and to the basement to activate a
lever.
- Go back to the second floor, exit at south and go to the save point S.
You'll find a skit. (Skit #67)
- Finally, activate the lever in tower D. As you exit, a boss will attack you.

Boss: Malik
This battle is usually incredibly short, because Malik and the two soldiers
don't have a lot of HP. However, Malik's spells hit hard, so he too can kill
you very quickly. He can also use his first mystic arte if he's given the
chance.
Oh and for the curious ones, this battle was the only one on the Wii version
where you could hope to see Richard get inflicted with the burn status. So
much fun for those who wanted to get all the titles.

Once the battle is over, Richard will leave. Now that you have taken control
of the fortress, the doors on the first floor are opened, so go to tower C and
exit into the central ground to find Cheria who will join the party. She
should be able to learn her first mystic arte by the way.

Anyway, go to tower I now. You should find a skit inside. (Skit #70)

Now go to the roof of the tower for a scene. You'll end up in the second floor
of tower H. Go back to the central ground and this time try to leave at north.

Note that the warp in the basement of tower E now works, so you can explore
the optional part of Wallbridge Ruins for items and a new book for the eleth
mixer.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

South Barona Highroad

As you exit Wallbridge, you should see a skit near the save point. (Skit #71)

Now go north, and make sure you talk with every soldier on the way because
they will give you items. This should also make a skit appear eventually.
(Skit #72)

Now, go near the catacombs for a skit. (Skit #73)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona Catacombs

We now need to infiltrate the castle. You can either follow the same path you
used in the childhood arc, or the above one through a stone door. In any case,
you'll reach the same point. Just before the entrance to the castle, there's
another stone door. Push it and you'll find a new discovery. (Discovery #28)
(Skit #69)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona Castle secret passage

Richard joins again when you enter this place. There's no enemy here, just
very basic puzzles where you have to push blocks. Explore a bit for items and
a new book, and don't forget the discovery just before the save point.
(Discovery #29) (Skit #74)

Once you're ready, go north of the save point to enter...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona Castle

There's a Turtlez merchant in this room. A portcullis prevents you from going
west, but we'll open it soon. For now, let's just try to clear this dungeon as
soon as possible, the items won't disappear anyway, but the enemies respawn
like crazy.

From this first room, go right twice, then go south. There's a chest if you
take your right, but otherwise, take your left twice into a room with a save
point. Check the wall for a discovery. (Discovery #30) (Skit #75)

Keep going left and you'll run into a boss.

Boss: Victoria
This isn't a very difficult fight, but I've noticed that Victoria tends to
rush after your healers as soon as they start casting a healing spell. Make
sure you keep her busy and watch out for a mystic arte, and you'll be fine.

After the battle, the portcullis at northeast will open, allowing you to go
back to the room with the merchant.

Once you're ready, go left until you reach a new save point and, of course, a
skit. (Skit #76)

Now go up the stairs into the throne room.

Boss: Cedric
This battle can be troublesome, because Cedric can't be thrown into the airs,
which mean that some artes don't work very well against him. Also, his attacks
tend to leave fire or electricity on the ground, making movements difficult.
He also has a mystic arte, but he's not very difficult if you catch him in a
combo and don't let him go.

Once the battle is over, you'll be in a room in the castle. With Asbel, leave
the room and go left and into the throne room to talk with Richard. Now go
back to the previous room to gather your party, and Malik will join too. He'll
also have his title with his first mystic arte available.

If you want, you can explore the rest of the castle for items before leaving
the castle. Don't forget the skit at the save point in front of the throne
room. (Skit #77)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona

Before you take the boat to Lhant, make sure you see the skit in the inn.
(Skit #78)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

East Lhant Highroad

Enter the hut and talk to the old man for a subevent. (Subevent #19 cleared)

At the save point in front of the hut, you'll find the final skit of this
chapter. (Skit #79)

Since you can't enter Lhant through the main gate, go down the slope and to
the left.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

Go straight to the manor, make sure you save before going to talk to Hubert in
the office. Exit the manor.

Boss: Richard
Trophy: Richard in 60 Seconds
You can only use Asbel, Sophie and Hubert in this battle. Richard's attacks
are more or less the same as when he was in the team. He has a few variations,
and will start by activating a nova barrier as the battle starts. Break it
with your artes (most of Sophie's artes will work fine). He can also use the
mystic arte Bloody Rose.

This will end the chapter and you'll get a new trophy.

Trophy: A Throne Reclaimed

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV.4 Chapter 4 (Adult arc part 3.1)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

North Lhant Road

You start with Asbel and Sophie on North Lhant Road. She should be able to
finally learn her first mystic arte.

As you walk down the path, you'll find a watermelon. This is your first
attachment. Go the Lhant Hill.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant Hill

As usual, you'll see a skit at the save point. (Skit #80)

Go to the top of the hill for a scene, and as you walk back down, stop by the
save point again. (Skit #81)

Now go back to Lhant.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

Go to the manor, and check the star on the second floor. This event is
missable and with a short window so don't miss it. (Subevent #3 cleared)

Go to the office, then leave the manor and you'll find everyone at the plaza.
Now walk on the bridge for a skit. (Skit #82)

Take the southwest exit.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

West Lhant Road

As usual, you'll see a skit at the save point as soon as you exit. (Skit #83)

Follow the path to the hut for a battle. Cheria joins again. Make sure you see
the skit before you return to Lhant. (Skit #84)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

In the manor, enter the room on the right. Before leaving the manor, check the
save point. (Skit #85)

We have to go to Strahta now, but first, let's go to the top of Lhant Hill,
there should be an event there. (Subevent #15 cleared)

Once you're ready, go to West Lhantroad.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

West Lhant Road

Skit near the hut again. (Skit #86)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

West Lhant Port

Make sure you see the skit at the save point before leaving. (Skit #87)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oul Raye

Welcome to Strahta. This port isn't big, but there's quite a few things to do
here.
First, talk to the little Turtlez and save it. You'll get a memo with some
coordinates on it. You don't actually need it to reach the Turtlez village,
but might as well take it.

Feed the cat in the first house you'll see.

As you go west, you'll find a shiny spot for more seeds. (Subevent #56)

Skit at the save point. (Skit #88)

There's also a chest with a password: turtlez.

Before exiting, check the salt near the exit for a discovery. (Discovery #31)
(Skit #89)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strahta Craglands

As you leave, check the save point. (Skit #90)

We're supposed to go west, but we'll go southeast for a skit first. Some
people should tell you that going this way is extremely dangerous, and how
right they are.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Uncharted Sandstretch

As stated above, this place is dangerous because enemies should be much
stronger than you at this point. Avoid battles and run until you reach some
ruins. You'll see a skit there. (Skit #92)
Now, you can either go back on foot, or just avoid danger and ask the Turtlez
to bring you back to town. In any case, enter the desert again.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strahta Craglands

This time, let's go west, and let's check the cactus. (Discovery #32) (Skit
#91)

Talk to the man nearby. Dear Pascal... (Subevent #25 cleared)

Keep moving and you'll reach the next town.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sable Izolle

You'll see a shiny spot behind one of the shops. More seeds. (Subevent #56)

If you talk to the old man near the shops, he'll offer to play cartas with you
if you have collected enough of them. You need at least 25 cartas for hard
mode. If you beat him without him scoring a single point, you'll get a title
with a Vesperia costume (those were the preorder costumes from the Wii
version) for Asbel (Yuri) on easy, Sophie (Patty) on normal, and Cheria (Rita)
on hard. Those costumes will change the battle theme by the way.

In the city, you'll also find two cooks. One of them will give you some spicy
sets. Try to make a lot of them with the eleth mixer because you'll need a lot
of them for curry recipes.

Anyway, as you get near the research center, you'll see a scene. After that,
check the huge book on the right for a discovery. (Discovery #33) (Skit #93)

You'll also find a skit at the save point (Skit #94)

There's also a cat you can feed nearby, as well as someone who will give you
some cartas.

Now, enter the building. Check the star for a subevent and a title allowing
Pascal to learn her second mystic arte. (Subevent #29 cleared)

Check the sphere on the left before leaving. (Discovery #34) (Skit #95)

Before you leave the city, there's also a chest with a password: rockgagong.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strahta Desert (East)

As usual, you'll see a skit near the save point as you'll exit. (Skit #96)

Go west until you get... eaten.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Inside the Rockgagong

This isn't a very big dungeon. To exit, you just need to explore and kill all
Five Viscera Parasites. Of course, there are some discoveries and skits,
starting with one right near the save point of your starting point. (Skit #97)

On the left side of the dungeon you'll find a statue's head. (Discovery #35)
(Skit #98)

In the middle of the dungeon is a hut. Don't enter it yet. First, go near the
save point (Skit #99)

Now it's fine to enter the hut. Inside, search a bit for the Rockgagong's
flute. If you exit and enter the hut again, you'll find a Turtlez merchant.

At the save point in the furthest place of the dungeon, you'll see a skit.
(Skit #100)

On the right of that save point, you'll find a weird green sphere. (Discovery
#36) (Skit #101)

Once all the Parasites have been defeated, you'll be able to go left of that
save point for a boss.

Boss: Entrails Parasite
This boss, just like the other parasites, can use some spells. The first part
is easy, because it doesn't have a lot of HP, but the trouble is that once
it's taken enough damage, it'll split into plenty of little parasites. And no,
you can't prevent that. You have to let the boss split if you want to kill it.
This is really annoying, because it may mean you have to lose your combo on
purpose just to let it split into parasites that can cast spells too. If you
can use your eleth burst at the right moment, use your mystic artes and wash
them away, but otherwise, make sure you kill them off one by one.

Once you clear the battle, the Rockagagong will, well, sneeze.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strahta Desert (East)

You'll be on the north side of this field. There, you can use your flute to
either call the Rockgagong and enter the dungeon again, or try to fight it. I
strongly advise against taking that second option for now, because there's
absolutely no point in doing it: he's one of the strongest boss of the game,
has a time limit, and doesn't give any experience or money anymore. You need
to steal an item from him for a subevent, but it's just better to wait until
you're a bit more resistant.

Anyway, let's move on. South of here, near the hut, you'll see a skit. (Skit
#102)

A bit further to the west, you'll find a banana tree. (Discovery #37) (Skit
#103)

Finally, you'll reach your next destination.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yu Liberte

This town is quite big, and we've got many things to do.

Go north in the commercial district. The inn is on the left, and you'll find a
small snowman inside. (Discovery #39) (Skit #106)

NE of the commercial district are stairs. There's a hidden passage on the left
of them that will take you to a carta.

Now go north again into the residential district. On the right is Oswell's
manor. You'll find some seeds there. (Subevent #56)

Inside the manor, you'll find your second attachment.

In one of the houses on the left of the district, you'll find a cat you can
feed.

Go north again to the administrative district. If you go right, you'll reach
the city's north gate. A chest nearby has a new doll in it. (Subevent #61)

Now go to the palace. You'll find a new discovery and two skits as you walk
underneath the stream of water. (Discovery #38) (Skit #104) (Skit #105)

Now enter the palace and we need to talk with the president, Dylan Paradine.

After the scene, you'll see a skit. (Skit #107)

Now leave the palace. You'll see a scene as you walk south. Keep going south
and into the residential district. You'll see a new scene near the fountain.

While we're here, make sure you go in Oswell's manor for a very easy to miss
subevent. (Subevent #4 cleared)

Now let's keep moving south into the commercial district, and you'll see one
more scene. Go back to the administrative district, and turn left to reach the
city's west gate and a scene again.

You should be back in the inn now. Skit at the save point. (Skit #108)

Now go to the palace again talk with the president. You're now allowed to
leave through the west gate, but before that, check in the president office
for a chest. The password is duplemar.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strahta Desert (West)

There's nothing special on the first half of this field. You'll see a skit
outside of the city. (Skit #109)

And a discovery a bit further that's really hard to miss. (Discovery #40)
(Skit #110)

In the second half of the desert, some stone pillars will pop out of the
ground. They can't damage you, they're just annoying. Eventually you'll reach
the next dungeon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strahta Desert Ruins

The Valkines Cryas is right in front of you, they say, but of course the path
is obstructed. There are a few puzzles here, but they aren't too hard. They're
a bit more frustrating than on the Wii version though.

The path is really linear here so I'll just give the puzzle solutions first:
- First puzzle: yellow, blue
- Second puzzle: yellow, red, blue
- Third puzzle: red, blue, yellow (optional)
- Fourth puzzle: red, blue, yellow

But first things first. You'll see a skit as soon as you enter the ruins.
(Skit #111)

The next skit will happen as you step on the first puzzle, so don't miss it!
(Skit #374)

Underground, you'll cross a stone bridge. On the left side of it... (Discovery
#41) (Skit #112)

There's water on the left so you can't go there for now, but the water level
will drop once this dungeon's boss is defeated.

Finally, get near the save point for a skit. (Skit #113)

Go to the Valkines Cryas for, of course, a boss.

Boss: Dispater x2
Trophy: Dispaters in 60 Seconds
Now this boss isn't really easy. There are two of them, and they will use nova
barriers. They have a few dangerous attacks. One of them being blasting
several lasers in front of them. Each laser isn't that powerful, but it's
deadly if you're hit at point blank range. They also have a charging attack
where they'll blast the ground around them. It can be difficult to find the
timing to sidestep against this attack. Anyway, don't forget you need to
defeat them in one minute for a trophy.

Once the battle is over, check the Valkines Cryas. (Discovery #42) (Skit #115)

You can go underground to take the items on the left, but otherwise, leave the
dungeon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strahta Desert (West)

You'll see a skit there near the save point. (Skit #114)

If you're lazy just like me, you can enter the ruins again, and ask the
Turtlez to take you back to town.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yu Liberte

Go talk to the president in the palace, and Hubert will finally join the group.
Now that you have all six main characters, a lot of subevents will unlock.
We'll take care of them before moving on with the story.

But let's not forget to see the skit in the inn first. (Skit #116)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV.5 Chapter 4 (Subevents 1)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yu Liberte

Go to the residential district and talk to the maid there. Now go back to
Strahta Desert (West). Just before the place with the stone pillars, you'll
find a star near some bones. Bring the memento to Yu Liberte's inn request.
(Subevent #33 cleared)

Go in the commercial district now and talk with Marlene. This time, go in
Strahta Desert (East). You'll find an enemy with an emoticon. Defeat it and
bring the tools back at Yu Liberte's inn request. (Subevent #34 cleared)
You'll also see a skit for completing that subevent, and Marlene's shop will
now be open. (Skit #357)

Now let's go to Lhant.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

Let's take care of a missable subevent. Well, I'm saying it's missable, but
the time limit is very far in the game, when you reach a certain point in the
final dungeon of the game. However, we do get a reward for an inn request here,
so we need to make sure we take care of it.
Anyway, let's begin with checking the star in Cheria's house. (Subevent #16)

Then, let's go talk to Asbel's mother in the manor. (Subevent #26)

Those two events will continue in Barona, so we're done here for now. Use the
Turtlez on the right of the manor and let's go to Gralesyde.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gralesyde

Talk to Dale in his manor. Now, you need to go back to the place where you
defeated Mercurius in Wallbridge Ruins. This likely means you have to enter
from the west side of the ruins, and backtrack all the way to the battle
location, since the moving platforms will likely not be there if you enter
from the east entrance. Yes, I did say this place is a pain.
After a short battle, you'll get an item you'll need to bring back at
Gralesyde's inn requests. Your reward allows you to create Malik's fabulous
joke weapon. (Subevent #23 cleared)

In the inn, talk with Joe to start a very long subevent. (Subevent #63)

Now ask the Turtlez at the west side of the town to take you to Wallbridge.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wallbridge

Let's put the map again, shall we?

http://www.kingdom-of-tales.net/games_pictures/5046.jpg

Now go to tower I and talk with the woman there. Time for some hide and seek.

The fastest way to clear this, I think, is to do it like this:
- Go on the tower roof and buy croquettes if you don't have some. You also
need three life bottles, but this shouldn't be a problem.
- On the second floor, go straight to tower E, and you'll find a child here,
hidden by the ladder to the roof.
- Then, if you have more than 500 Gald on you (which should be likely), go to
tower A and talk to the soldier inside. He'll take all of your money.
- Go to tower B and to the basement. Check behind the boxes for a child.
- Exit through the door. Talk to the soldier until he finally leaves. A child
was hidden behind him.
- Continue into tower A. A child is hidden behind the discovery.
- Go back to tower B, and go to the second floor to reach tower C. Go to the
roof and give the croquettes to the soldier on the floor. Search for a child
hidden near the boxes.
- Now exit into the central ground. A child is hidden behind the huge turtle
on the left between towers B and C.
- Enter the fortress through tower G. Go to the basement, exit at south and
give three life bottles to the soldier. A child is hidden behind him.
- Finally, enter the room there in tower H. If you have less than 500 Gald,
you'll find the last child between the beds, and you'll get all of your money
back.

Here's a video from my Wii playthrough:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TK5t2uyPvgE

Once you're done, you'll clear the subevent and see a skit. (Subevent #57
cleared) (Skit #355)

Talk to the Turtlez on the central ground between towers B and C and go to
Barona.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona

Talk to Joe and his sister in one of the rooms at the inn. (Subevent #63)

If you haven't done it already, you can feed a cat near the sanctuary.

Go to the castle and in the corridor east of the entrance, you'll find a man.
Talk to him to clear a subevent. (Subevent #26 cleared)

Now go back to the city's shops and check the event star. Make sure you bring
that item back at Lhant's requests (the maid in the manor) to clear this
missable event. The reward allows you to make Cheria's delicious joke weapon.
(Subevent #16 cleared)

Now, let's quickly go to Orlen Woods.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Orlen Woods

You just need to go to the deepest part of the woods and talk to Bryce to
fight this optional boss.

Boss: Bryce
To be honest, fighting Bryce at this point of the game can be very hard. He
hits hard, and he attacks like crazy. He also has a dangerous, but with a very
long startup attack that will instantly kill you. Once again, make sure the AI
stays out of the way. He can also use the spell Dark Sliver.
If he's too hard, you can always come back later. However, if you defeat him
now, you'll be able to get his weapon, which should be quite powerful for
Sophie at this point of the game. (Subevent #20 cleared)

Now let's go back to Strahta.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oul Raye

You'll find Joe again here. (Subevent #63)

Check the star near the exit for a new subevent. (Subevent #30 cleared)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sable Izolle

Talk to Joe again, near the west exit. (Subevent #63)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yu Liberte

Talk to Joe again, this time he's in the inn. (Subevent #63)

That's all for now. Go to the administrative district, and exit at the north
gate.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV.6 Chapter 4 (Adult arc part 3.2)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strahta Desert (North)

Go north until you reach the well. Watch out because the skit will trigger an
optional battle between Asbel and Hubert. (Discovery #43) (Skit #118)

Boss: Hubert
It's not a difficult battle. It's all right if you lose, as you may try again
as many times as needed. You will see different skits depending on how the
battle ends.
If you lose, you'll see Skit #119.
If you try again, you'll see Skit #120.
If you win, you'll see SkiNorth Strahta Desertt #121. It's all right to win on
the first try as skits 119 and 120 will be recorded even if you didn't
actually see them.

Before reaching the next port, make sure to see the skit at the save point.
(Skit #117)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

North Yu Liberte port

Watch the skit at the save point before taking the boat to Riot Peak. (Skit
#122)

You'll get a trophy here.

Trophy: The Sands of Strahta

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV.7 Chapter 5 (Adult arc part 4)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Riot Peak

As soon as you arrive, walk east and you'll see Joe again. (Subevent #63)

On the right side of the stairs, you'll find a discovery. (Discovery #44)
(Skit #123)

There's also a cat you can feed.

You'll also find seeds nearby. (Subevent #56)

And as usual, a skit at the save point. (Skit #124)

Now go up the stairs, and you need to go through a series of battles in the
arena. After that, go back to the save point. (Skit #125)

If you wish, you can try to go through the regular arena this time. There's 6
battles followed by a boss. There are two items we need from those battles.

The first one is the medicine, which you can steal from the last human enemy
of the second battle, Scepterista (the steal rate is 6%). Just bring the
medicine at the inn request down the stairs and you'll be able to make
Sophie's joke weapon with the reward. (Subevent #37 cleared)

The second item simply requires you to clear the fourth battle. (Subevent #35)

If you're trying to clear the game without dying, I'd advise you take care of
this later, because there's a boss after the six battles.

Before we go explore Fendel, let's drop by Yu Liberte first.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yu Liberte

Go to Oswell manor for a new missable event with a very short window.
(Subevent #5 cleared)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Riot Peak

Talk to the spy there and off to Fendel.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

South Velanik Port

Nothing special here. Just leave the place to reach...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fendel Borderlands

Check the peach tree for a discovery. (Discovery #45) (Skit #126)

Battle as much as possible here. Every single group of enemy should have a
huge bird called Strahteme here. The plot will require you to get five of
their horns.

At the intersection, go east and you'll find the fortress that separates
Fendel and Lhant. You'll also see a skit. (Skit #127)

Note that you can pay the Dark Turtlez to go to the other side of the border,
although it's not really useful.

Anyway, back to the intersection and go north. You'll see a skit near the huge
crater. (Skit #128)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Velanik

If you already have your five Strahteme horns, then you need to be careful
because you only have a small window to take care of the following skit and
event:

Go north and to the inn. You'll see a skit at the save point. (Skit #129)

Now sleep at the inn. This event is missable with a very short window, make
sure you take care of it. (Subevent #6 cleared)

Now talk to Joe on the theatre stage. (Subevent #63)

Go behind the stage and open the nearby box for a princess book. (Subevent
#60)

You'll also find a new discovery there. (Discovery #46) (Skit #130)

As well as some seeds. (Subevent #56)

And a chest with a password: strahteme.

Now leave the inn, and enter the house on the right. Feed the cat.

Open the chest for a doll. (Subevent #61)

Now exit on the right.

Open the chest for a spoon. The brat will prevent you from leaving unless you
pay 1000 Gald, so let's give him the money. Go check behind the nearby well
and the child will give your 1000 Gald back. Go back inside the house and you
can talk to the child and give him money. He'll ask for 200, 400, 800, 1600,
3200 and finally 6400 Gald. Give him the money to clear the event. (Subevent
#38 cleared)

Now back to the plot. Leave the house, and there's a path to the east a bit
south of it. You'll trigger an event there and two children will ask for 5
Strahteme horns. If you have them, then you can just go to the inn, otherwise,
go outside and fight until you have what's needed.

Anyway, after that, you'll see a skit in the inn. (Skit #131)

Now it's time to leave through the tunnel that's northwest from the inn.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fendel Mountain Pass

As usual, there's a skit at the save point here. (Skit #132)

You can't go east for now, so just follow the path west until you exit, and
don't forget to check the tree on the way. (Discovery #47) (Skit #133)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fendel Highlands

As soon as you exit the tunnel, talk to the man in front of you. (Subevent
#42)

The path is pretty straightforward. Just make sure you don't miss the cabbage
at north. (Discovery #48) (Skit #134)

And of course, a skit near the save point. (Skit #135)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Port to Zavhert

If you've kept your crablette (egg + crab), you'll see a skit near the save
point. (Skit #136)

After that, just take the boat.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zavhert

In the port, you can talk to the old man here and he'll give you rewards
depending on how many cartas you've found.

Enter the town for a scene. There are a few things we need to do first.

At north of your starting point, there's a child who will sell you a doll.
(Subevent #61)

Further to the north, you'll find the shops. The weapon shop is closed, and
you'll need to find an item from the next field and bring it back to the inn
requests to have the shop open.

And while we're talking of the inn, it's just left of the shops. Go inside and
you'll see two skits at the save point. (Skit #138) (Skit #323)

Throw your garbage in the trash bin. Once you have thrown a total of 15 pieces
of garbage (at once or not, it doesn't matter), you'll clear an event.
(Subevent #71 cleared)

In one of the rooms, you'll find Joe. (Subevent #63)

There's also a chest with a password: ironspike.

In another room, you'll find more seeds. (Subevent #56)

Now exit the inn, and go south to go back to the city entrance. Enter the
nearby house and talk to Lara. If you've followed the walkthrough, you have 6
dolls now. Give them all to the little girl. You need seven for Sophie's third
mystic arte, so obviously, you can't find the other three for now. (Subevent
#61)

Exit the house and go west. You'll see a weird huge pipe that somehow reminds
me of something... (Discovery #49) (Skit #137)

Enter the nearby house and feed the cat. Check the Russian dolls. (Discovery
#50) (Skit #139)

Now back to the plot, exit the house, go west, and talk to the soldier sitting
by the stairs.

Keep going north, then east. Enter the house and you'll find the final
princess book. (Subevent #60)

Keep going east and you'll be back in front of the inn. Talk to the soldier
near the weapon shop, then to the one near the inn. Congrats, you have
Fendel's army chasing after you!

And since we don't care about that, enter the inn for a skit at the save point.
(Skit #140)

Now flee through the west exit.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mt. Zavhert

This field has many intersections. Let's start by following the path until you
reach the first intersection with a sign.

Let's start by going west, then south at the second intersection. You'll see a
chest. Open it, it's a fake! Defeat it and Pascal will get her title for her
third mystic arte (yes, the others still don't know their second mystic arte,
it's perfectly normal). (Subevent #41 cleared)

Go back to the second intersection and follow the path to Fendel Research
Laboratory. On the way, you'll find some radishes. (Discovery #51) (Skit #142)

Once you reach the save point in front of the institute, you'll see a skit.
(Skit #240)

Time to go back to the first intersection. This time move on to the north, and
keep going north until you reach some pumpkins. (Discovery #52) (Skit #143)

From the discovery, go east and you'll find a save point. (Skit #144)

From there, move on to the north and you'll bump into a boss.

Boss: Bladehorn Boar
This isn't a difficult boss. He's just annoying when he starts burying itself,
but that's all.

A skit can be seen at the save point near Zavhert's exit down the mountain.
You can go and see it now, or choose to wait and take care of it later. (Skit
#141)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amarcian Enclave

As soon as you enter the village, go west to the save point for a skit. (Skit
#145)

Of course, that fountain of chocolate nearby isn't suspicious at all.
(Discovery #53) (Skit #146)

You'll also find Joe here. (Subevent #63)

East of the village, you'll find Pascal's house, as well as her sister
Fourier's. Looks like those sisters can't share the same house but still are
neighbors. There's a cat you can feed nearby.

In Fourier's house, search for the drill as well as a chest with a password:
gauss.

Next, go in Pascal's house for a scene. Before you leave, check the mechanical
cat. (Discovery #54) (Skit #148)

Go back to the save point now. (Skit #147)

You can also play the Shoot Cube mini-game (Subevent #62), the rewards being
weapons for Pascal. You can only go up to level 9 for now. Those aren't very
difficult but here are some solutions.

Level 1
Push the blocks. It's just a tutorial.

Level 2
Same deal.

Level 3
Push the block on the upper left corner downards, and the one on the lower
right corner upwards. Clear the puzzle.

Level 4
Push the group of two blocks on the left to the right, then clear the puzzle.

Level 5
Push all the blocks on the left to the right. Push the block on the lower
right corner to the left. Clear the puzzle.

Level 6
Starting with the upper block, push all the blocks in a counterclockwise order.

Level 7
Push the block on the upper right corner downwards, then the left block to the
right. Push the group of two blocks on the upper side downwards. Clear the
puzzle.

Level 8
Now this is getting just a bit trickier. Push the block in the lower left
corner upwards. On the right side, push the middle block to the left, and he
should end up in the center. Now push the block that was above it downwards so
that it takes its initial place. Then push the block on the lower side upwards.
Clear the puzzle.

Level 9
Now that's fun. Push the block on the lower right corner to the left. Push the
block on the upper left corner to the right. Then, push it, as well as the
block next to it, downwards. Push the block on the lower left corner upwards.
Then, push it, as well as the block next to it to the right. Push the block on
the right to the left. Clear the puzzle.

If I'm hard to understand, here are some solutions, but keep in mind I didn't
always used the same pattern to clear the levels:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Y8V08mpS5M&t=4m30s

Once you're done with the mini-game, go to the platform at the center of the
village and talk with Poisson. Be sure to pick up the seeds before leaving the
room. (Subevent #56)

As you leave the village, you'll see an Amarcian near the entrance. Talk to
him, then go to Pascal's house for an event. (Subevent #45 cleared)

Time to go to the research institute again.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mt. Zavhert

Make sure you see the skit at the save point. (Skit #149)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fendel Research Laboratory

You'll see a skit as soon as you enter the place. (Skit #150)

Go all the way to the left and inside the room. In this dungeon, you will need
to open the security gates to explore the place. The puzzles aren't too hard.
You need to push some blocks so that they form a square engraved with a circle,
and then activate a nearby switch. In this room, there's just one block to
push.

Leave the room and you now have access to the lift on your left.

Keep moving until you find a new security gate. Enter the control room. There
are three blocks together and one left alone. Go to the three blocks and push
the one on the left upwards. Now push the final block right then upwards.
Activate the switch, then leave the room and take the next lift.

In the first room of this floor, you'll find a discovery. (Discovery #55)
(Skit #151)

Keep moving, and at the intersection, you can go right to find the Platinum
Scabbard for Asbel. Equip it for a skit. (Skit #317)

Now go to the next security gate. Once again, in the control room, there are
three blocks already in place and another left alone. Among the three blocks,
pull the one on the lower left to the left twice. Now push the isolated block
right, up, and right. Put the other block back in place.

Take the next lift and at the intersection, up is for an accessory for Pascal,
and right leads to a lift to move forward. At the next security gate, only one
block is in position in the control room. Push the block on the lower left
upwards in its correct position. Push the block on the lower right downwards
once, then all the way to the left. Push the block on the right all the way to
the left too, then push the final block upwards.

Keep moving to the right. At the intersection, go right. The room leads to an
item and the lift to a discovery. (Discovery #56) (Skit #152)

Now back to the intersection, take the other path until you reach another
security gate. Save and enter the control room.

Boss: Veres
Nothing special about this boss. It can call for backup, but you can just
smash everything that gets in your way with Pascal's third mystic arte.

After the battle, you can see a skit near the lift in the room. (Skit #153)

You can also activate the switch there to open the final security gate. You'll
find some items on the other side. Anyway, take the lift in the final control
room to exit the dungeon. We need to go back to Zavhert now.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mt. Zavhert

As you reach Zavhert, check the save point in front of the entrance to trigger
a battle between Asbel and Sophie. (Skit #154)

Boss: Sophie
It's not a difficult battle. It's all right if you lose, as you may try again
as many times as needed. You will see different skits depending on how the
battle ends.
If you lose, you'll see Skit #155.
If you try again, you'll see Skit #156.
If you win, you'll see Skit #157. It's all right to win on the first try as
skits 155 and 156 will be recorded even if you didn't actually see them.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zavhert

Go east and talk to the man with an emoticon above his head.

Go to the inn, and let's see a skit at the save point. (Skit #158)

While you're here, let's take care of the final missable event of the game.
Sleep at the inn. (Subevent #7 cleared)

Exit the inn, and talk to the two people on the right. Then take the south
path, and to the west.

On your way, you'll find a star that will trigger an event. (Subevent #8
cleared)

Keep going on to the left, talk to the woman in front of the house, and enter
it. Talk to Fermat.

Now go back to the inn for a new subevent. (Subevent #9 cleared)

Now go north of Zavhert.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fendel tower

Immediately after the scene... exit and go to Zavhert inn. (Skit #159)

Now let's take care of this dungeon. In the tower, save if you want, and don't
forget the skit. (Skit #160)

Take the white door on your right. It's a lift to the 39th floor. Now you
can't go any further with the lift, so take the stairs.

Just keep moving until you reach the next floor, using the moving platforms.

There, talk with the two hidden soldiers. Then talk to the soldier in front of
the next stairs. Choose whatever option you want, and go talk to the hidden
soldiers again. You can now move on.

Once you find some sort of stream coming out of the pipes, operate the nearby
valves to shut them down. Make sure you move the platform to the left before
going on. You should see a skit just before the lift. (Skit #375)

Once you find some stream blocking your path again, operate the first valve,
then use the moving platform to go and close the second valve. Now, go back to
the first valve with the moving platform and keep going.

Check the nest on your way. (Discovery #57) (Skit #161)

For the next set of valves, turn the one on the left and on the right. Don't
turn them all off or they'll burst open again.

42nd floor (yes, we missed the 41st floor). You'll be given some gels and
you'll have to give them to the different soldiers. Do they really have that
much time to waste?

Keep going on, and don't forget you can call the moving lifts even if they're
on a different level. You will find another discovery just near a save point.
(Discovery #58) (Skit #162)

Of course, there's a skit at this save point. (Skit #163)

Defeat the soldiers that get in your way and inside Kurt's office.

Let's finish this set of subevents by checking the star in the room. (Subevent
#10 cleared)

Now talk with everyone and check the desk. You'll be sent back to the tower
entrance. At least now the lifts work properly. Well, almost.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zavhert

New skit in the inn. (Skit #164)

Go talk to Fermat in her house. (Subevent #11 cleared)

Now exit the city through the east.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Glacier Road

Nothing here, just go to the next dungeon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fendel Glacier Ruins

Follow the path in the ruins and you'll eventually find some ice block you can
grab and release down some slopes. Your goal in this dungeon will be to break
ice stalagmites with those blocks to create bridges that will let you explore
the dungeon.

So let's start by pushing the first block down the first slope. There'll be
two slopes there. One is for a treasure chest and the other is to move on.

In the second room with blocks, there's a glowing ice stalagmite. (Discovery
#59) (Skit #166)

Pull the block up the slope and let it slide for a chest. Then, pull it back
up again and this time let it slide down the other slope to the stalagmite
that will open the way.

In the next room with blocks, push the block down the slope for a treasure
chest. Now, put it in front of the next slope, and push it down but without
releasing it as we don't want it to end up down the second slide. Midway down
the slide, you'll see there's another slide to the right. We want to push the
block there to move on.

At the intersection in the next room, you can find a book for the eleth mixer
on your left. Keep moving until you reach a save point. (Skit #165)

In the next room with blocks, you'll see there's a very long slope that leads
to a huge stalagmite. There's a hole in this slope, so put the nearby block in
place to complete the slope. Now, go up that slope and there's another block
there. Now watch out because there's a very easy to miss skit here.

Grab the block and push it down the slope without letting it go. Midway
through the slope, let it go, and it will slide to the huge stalagmite but
will fail to break it. A skit will pop up. (Skit #376)

Done? Then, pull the block all the way up the slope and this time, release it
from there. The stalagmite will break and you can move on. Note that there are
other smaller stalagmites around the room that you can break for items.

In any case, move until you reach the next save point. Save.

Boss: Kurt
Trophy: Kurt in 60 Seconds
THAT boss. He was a joke in the Wii version, but he's gone nuts in the PS3 one.
His weapons have a very long range and he can do very long combos that will
track you down wherever you flee on the battlefield. This also means it's hard
to close in to start your combo. And of course, he has a mystic arte.
Please also note that there are two soldiers with him. In the Wii version, you
just had to get rid of them, but in the PS3 version, they'll respawn after a
while once they're defeated.

You need to defeat that boss in less than one minute. Watch out because the
first time you'll defeat the two soldiers, if Malik is on the field, he will
have a conversation with Kurt. This conversation does not stop the chronometer,
I know because I lost several seconds of Eleth Burst like this once.

Once the battle is over, check Kurt's body for a weapon (yeah, right... Well I
guess after finding gels in toilet seats, picking up weapons on dead friends
had to be the next step in the series), and talk with everyone. Then, check
the Valkines Cryas. (Discovery #60) (Skit #168)

You can use the nearby warp and it will take you back to the dungeon entrance.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Glacier Road

There's a skit at the save point there. (Skit #167)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zavhert

We want to go to the Amarcian Enclave, but drop by the inn first. (Skit #169)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amarcian Enclave

Go talk to Poisson. Before you leave, go near the save point. (Skit #170)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mt. Zavhert

Don't use the Turtlez to go back to town for now. There's a skit at the save
point in the middle of the path here. (Skit #171)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zavhert

Once again, go to the inn. (Skit #172)

Once you're ready, go to the port, and go to World's Eye.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

World's Eye

As soon as you reach the place, Asbel will get a title with his second mystic
arte. You're free to back track and train a bit to learn it if you want.

Don't forget this chapter's final skit at the save point before moving on.
(Skit #173)

Boss: Richard
Richard is more or less the same than last time. He just has a few more artes
and spells, but you should find him ridiculously easy now that you just
defeated Kurt.

After the scene, you'll get a trophy.

Trophy: The Infiltration of Fendel

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV.8 Chapter 6 (Adult arc part 5)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zavhert

You'll be back in Zavhert port, and Sophie is out of the party. Go sleep at
the inn first. Before you leave the inn, watch the skit. (Skit #174)

Go back to the port. Malik will get his title with his second mystic arte. Now
take the boat to Oul Raye.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oul Raye

As you reach Strahta, Cheria gets her title with her second mystic arte too.

Talk to the nearby man for a new event. (Subevent #27 cleared)

Then, go to the save point. (Skit #175)

We want to go to Sable Izolle for now, but since we don't want to miss any
skit, we'll walk.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strahta Craglands

The skit is at the save point just before you enter Sable Izolle. (Skit #176)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sable Izolle

You'll see a scene in front of the research center. Go to the save point for a
cute skit. (Skit #177)

Now, go inside the building and take the lift in the middle of the room. Go
inside the room for a scene.

Now leave the building, and there's a new skit at the save point. (Skit #178)

You may now go back to Oul Raye and take the boat to South Velanik Port.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

South Velanik Port

You'll see a skit at the save point. (Skit #179)

Now we don't want to go to Velanik, but to the fortress at the border, which
is east from here. Go through and you'll reach North Lhant Road. From there,
enter the seaside cavern from the north.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seaside Cavern

You'll see a skit at the save point. (Skit #180)

Remember that weird wall from last time? Check it to open a not-so-hidden
passage. New scene, and new skit at the save point. (Skit #181)

Now run back to Lhant. I think it's faster to leave the cave through the north
exit and run down the road than go though all this jumping in the water
process again.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

After the scene here, go to Asbel's room in the manor. Once you're alone with
Asbel and Hubert, go to the save point first. (Skit #182)

Now enter the office for a scene, and then return to Asbel's room. You may
exit the manor for one more scene.

There's a Turtlez in front of the manor, but there are two things we need to
do first.

Get inside the manor and go talk to Kerri in her room. (Subevent #12 cleared)

Then, go on the bridge in the middle of the town. (Skit #385)

Now it's fine to talk to the Turtlez and go to Velanik. There, go in the
tunnel north of the town.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fendel Mountain Pass

In the tunnel, let's start by going left first until you bump into an Amarcian
guy. Talk to him twice to give him your drill (which you should have found in
Fourier's house earlier). (Subevent #39 cleared)

Now remember we couldn't go east in this tunnel last time? This time we can.
But first, let's check the save point. (Skit #183)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Untrodden Snowfield

As you follow the path, you'll see a scene. Just follow the road to the next
dungeon. You'll find a skit near the save point in front of the dungeon. (Skit
#184)

But before entering the dungeon, follow the road east of it to the next
discovery. (Discovery #61) (Skit #185)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Snowshroud Ruins

You'll see a skit as soon as you enter. (Skit #186)

Enter the very first room to power up the place. Now you'll see lines on the
ground and arrow-like switches. We need to turn those arrows so the current on
the ground will reach the doors and unlock them.

So, let's start with the door on the right first and you'll find a discovery
on the wall. (Discovery #62) (Skit #187)

Now go back to the entrance. The door on the left is for an item in a chest
and the upper door is to move on.

In the next corridor, redirect the current to the door to move on.

At the next intersection, go right to move on, then the door on the left.

Eventually, you'll reach a switch that will split the current in two.

Let's start with the right door. Inside, redirect the current to the right. In
the next room, redirect it upwards. Same deal in the next room.

Now go back to the switch and take the left door. Inside, redirect the current
to the left.

In the next room, redirect the current to the left first. You'll find a
discovery in that room. (Discovery #63) (Skit #188)
Note that you'll need plenty of those materials for subevents and items, so
start creating some with the eleth mixer.

Anyway, redirect the current to the other door, and do keep mowing in the next
room until you reach a huge door. Send the two current lines to the door and
it will open.

In the final room, open the final door. But don't forget the skit at the save
point first. (Skit #189)

Boss: Polycarpus
Trophy: Polycarpus in 60 Seconds
Just like Cedric, this boss can't be thrown into the air, so he can be a bit
troublesome. He's not that dangerous, but you need to kill it quickly for a
trophy.

Once the boss a defeated, a one-way warp will take you back to the entrance.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Untrodden Snowfield

Monsters will attack as soon as you exit the dungeon. Kill them, and check the
save point. (Skit #190)

We want to go back to the seaside cavern, so let's just use the Turtlez
transports.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seaside Cavern

Skit at the save point once again. (Skit #191)

Now go in the room with the Shuttle. New scene. Go in the room with the
Shuttle again. Now exit the room, jump in the water at north and kill the
monsters. Return one more time in the room with the Shuttle.

Well, that chapter was short and you'll get a trophy.

Trophy: The Other Side of the Sky

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV.9 Chapter 7 (Adult arc part 6)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shuttle

You'll end up in the cockpit of the Shuttle. Exit it and in the next room, you
can use the machine on the right to buy new equipment. It sells the same stuff
as the next town you'll visit, and the fidelity card is the same. Once you're
ready, exit the Shuttle.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Region 13

Right after the scene, go back to the Shuttle cockpit for a skit. (Skit #192)

Now exit the Shuttle. There are two warps to the west and we want to take the
further one. There's a discovery on the right, but we'll take care of it later
since we can't see the skit yet. Oh, and do enjoy the beautiful battle theme
here.

At the save point near the aforementioned warp, you'll see a skit. (Skit #193)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Telos Astue

There are a lot of things to do here. At northwest, there's a machine that
works both as a shop and the inn. Sleep for a little subevent. Once again,
it's not recorded in the travel log, and there's no reward.

Near the machine is a save point. (Skit #194)

And next to the save point are stairs to a new discovery. (Discovery #64)
(Skit #195)

Now go right and up the stairs into a new room with a discovery. (Discovery
#66) (Skit #198)
That discovery can give you three different ingredients; one of them is miso.
As soon as you get it, create the recipe miso soup, and put it in the eleth
mixer. This recipe activates very easily (as long as your eleth pot energy is
above 50%) and gives the highest boost to increase its max capacity.

Now go back to the main room of the floor. Southeast and southwest are two
lifts. Take either one to the second floor. Take the door at the back for
another discovery. (Discovery #65) (Skit #196)

Now go take the lift and this time go to the basement.

The stairs at the back lead to the launching pad, and you'll find some seeds
nearby. (Subevent #56)

Inside the launching pad room is a chest. The password is ephinea.

Go in the room on the left and Emeraude will join as an NPC.

Go back to the save point on the first floor for a skit. (Skit #197)

On the second floor, someone will sell you titles for your characters, but the
price will increase each time you buy one: 10000, 30000, 90000, 270000, 810000
and finally 2430000 Gald.

Anyway, once you're ready, leave the city.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Region 13

Now walk east to the warp and you'll see a scene. Before using the warp,
backtrack a bit to the nearby save point. (Skit #199)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Humanoid Research Center

There are two things we'll need to do in this dungeon. The first one is to
open the security gates. The second is to change the batteries of the lifts so
we can operate them. But of course, you can only carry one battery at a time,
so we'll need to backtrack a lot.

Otherwise, the dungeon structure is always the same: You start on the left
side (south) and you have to reach the lift on the right side to change the
battery.

So, let's start moving to the right on this first floor until you reach the
first security gate. Before taking the nearby warp, go near the gate and a
skit will pop up. Make sure you see the skit before opening the gate, because
this skit only appears in front of a closed security gate. (Skit #377)

Anyway, take the warp, use the switch there and the gate will open, so go
through it. In the next two rooms, you'll find the batteries for the lift.
Take one with you before moving on to the right.

You'll find the first lift. Before changing the battery, try to go inside the
lift. A skit will pop up. Make sure you see the skit before you change the
battery, because this skit only appears inside a broken lift. (Skit #378)

That's it with the easy to miss skits for this dungeon. Change the battery,
but before taking the lift, go pick up another one.

Now take the lift, you'll be on the first basement floor, south. Take the
first door for a subevent. (Subevent #49 cleared)

Now move on to the right. As usual, take the warp, activate the switch to open
the gate, and keep going until you reach the lift. Change the battery. Now go
inside the lift, and you'll be able to either go to the first floor or the
second basement floor. Let's start by backtracking to the first floor for a
new battery. Once it's done, go back to the lift and go to the first basement
floor. Then, without leaving the lift, go to the second basement floor, south.

Keep moving and at the intersection, right is to move on. After the scene in
the room, look for some toys on the ground. (Discovery #67) (Skit #200)

Exit the room through the right exit, and there's a new intersection. The back
path leads to a room where there's nothing for now, but it'll be important for
a subevent later in the game, so take the other path and you'll reach the next
lift.

Once again, change the battery, go inside the lift and back to the first floor
to pick up the final battery. Then go back to the lift, to the second basement
floor, and from there, without leaving the lift, take it again, to the third
basement floor, south.

At the next intersection, take the path towards you and you'll find a famous
discovery in a room. (Discovery #68) (Skit #201)

Now back to the intersection and take the other path. Open the security gate
to the final broken lift. Go straight to the fourth and final basement floor.

Move on until you reach a save point. (Skit #202)

Now go inside that room. After the scene check any hologram. New scene. Now,
you can check the other three holograms if you want, but we only need to check
Richard's hologram to move on.

Boss: Lambda
Trophy: Lambda in 60 Seconds
That boss is really easy. It's got a few enemy-only spells, and can poison you,
but poison shouldn't be a troublesome ailment at this point of the game. It
can, however, be hard to close in, so I'd advise you let Malik or Cheria use
their spells to open the combo. Kill it quickly for a trophy.

Exit the room from the left for a new skit at the save point. (Skit #203)

Then, go to the very eastern end of the floor for a lift. Take it back to the
second basement floor and back into the central room. Sophie joins again. Now
you may leave the dungeon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Region 13

There's a skit near the save point as you exit the dungeon. (Skit #204)

Now go east, and don't forget to check the discovery before you leave the area.
(Discovery #69) (Skit #205)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Region 66

You'll see a skit as soon as you enter the area, near the save point. (Skit
#206)

Go all the way to the east for a discovery. (Discovery #70) (Skit #207)
The materials you get from this one are needed for a lot of items too, so if
you can, start making some with the eleth mixer.

Anyway, back track a bit and go north. You'll find an event star there.
(Subevent #50 cleared)

Next to the warp to the next dungeon, you can talk to the person here if you
need to buy or sell some stuff. Once you're ready, enter...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bathus Citadel

Ah, Bathus Citadel. The other dungeon I hate. Enemies warp everywhere, one of
them is rare, and for some reason I used to always get lost here. Be careful
when going through doors, I once got caught in a glitch as Asbel tried to run
through a door but couldn't because of some stupid part of the decor. Had to
reset the game.

In this dungeon, you'll find series of block you'll have to activate (they
work more like switches actually) to open new paths.

Anyway, let's start by... running away from this place to see a skit at the
save point in Region 66. (Skit #208)

Ok, now let's get serious and take care of this dungeon. Go east into the next
room. There, switch the blocks as far as you can to the right. You should see
a skit as you activate the block the first time. (Skit #379)

Keep moving to the east, take the lift, and to the next series of blocks. Push
the left series of blocks towards you once and you'll be able to slip in
between to take the path behind. You'll eventually reach a lift.

At the next intersection, go right, and push the next series of blocks all the
way to the left. Once again, you should see a skit after activating the blocks.
(Skit #380)

Now, take the door on the right, and use the lift. Push the two upper series
of blocks there to the right so you can move on. On your left should be a
discovery. (Discovery #71) (Skit #209)

Now take the back door. Push the green blocks all the way to the left, and the
blue ones behind them all the way to the right. Now exit on the other side of
the room, take the lift, and then the back door.

You should be in a room where you'll hear the sound of two things hitting each
other repeatedly. Push the blue blocks in front of you all the way to the left.

To move on, take the left exit. Move the green blocks so you can go through,
and move the blue blocks all the way to the left. Now take the lift on the
right.

To move on to the north, just push the blocks to open a way. In this new room,
you should find a chest. It's actually a discovery. (Discovery #72) (Skit
#210)

The key you'll get from this discovery opens an optional dungeon. And thank
goodness they fixed that stupid glitch from the Wii version.

Anyway, there are two series of blocks here. Push the furthest one all the way
to the left, and the one in front of it to the right. Now go back to the room
at south, and go right to take a door at north.

You should now have access to the save point with a skit and the door to the
boss. (Skit #211)

Boss: Centurioid
This isn't a difficult battle, but having to run after him when he glides
across the battlefield can be really annoying. The boss starts the battle with
two other enemies, but more reinforcements will come as you kill them.

Once the battle is over, you'll get titles for everyone, with some interesting
spells and the final second mystic artes for your party.

Don't take the one-way warp immediately. Make sure you go back to the save
point in the previous room first. (Skit #212)

Now you may leave this dungeon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Region 66

There's nothing special here. Just before you reach Region 13, you'll see a
skit at the save point. (Skit #213)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Region 13

As you reach Telos Astue, check the save point in front of the entrance to
trigger a battle between Asbel and Malik. (Skit #214)

Boss: Malik
Contrary to Hubert and Sophie, this battle can actually be quite hard, because
it's easy to take damage because you start a combo and Malik's weapon flies
back in his hand. He also casts his spells quickly. It's all right if you lose,
as you may try again as many times as needed. You will see different skits
depending on how the battle ends.
If you lose, you'll see Skit #215.
If you try again, you'll see Skit #216.
If you win, you'll see Skit #217. It's all right to win on the first try as
skits 215 and 216 will be recorded even if you didn't actually see them.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Telos Astue

Go to the save point for a skit. (Skit #218)

Go to the basement floor and to the launching pad. After the scene, don't take
off immediately. Go to the room where you met Emeraude and talk to Psi. Now
check the star near the stairs leading to the launching pad. After a quick
battle, bring back the item to the inn requests. The reward is to create
Asbel's joke weapon. (Subevent #48 cleared)

Once you're ready, you just need to talk to Emeraude to leave Telos Astue. Be
aware however, that you will be unable to leave the next dungeon unless you
clear it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lambda's Cocoon

This is the penultimate dungeon, and you'll see enemies here can be tough.
Besides, it's not very easy to find your way in this dungeon, and it's made
worse by the fact that the structure will change slightly after you clear this
dungeon's boss.

As stated previously, you can't leave unless you clear this dungeon, but
luckily you can still use the Shuttle to rest or buy items.

So, let's go. As usual, you'll see a skit near the save point in front of the
Shuttle. (Skit #219)

Go right into the next room, then follow the slope down, and into the right
room. Jump down the hole.

Now exit through the left, go down the slope, and enter the next room.

Do not take the ascending current, it just takes you back to the upper floor.
Instead, walk to the left and you can exit there. Keep going down, and as you
enter the next room on your right, you'll see a scene.

After that, exit the room on the right, go down again, then enter the room at
left. You should be in a room with a save point with a skit (Skit #220), as
well as a discovery. (Discovery #73) (Skit #221)
Once again, the materials from this discovery are needed to create weapons and
armors, so it's always useful to make some with the eleth mixer.

Now exit the room at left, go down, and into a new room on the left.

Here you'll be introduced to this dungeon puzzles. You'll see blue and red
flowers. Those flowers are switches. The red flower will make nearby cells
grow up, which will push platforms away, but will also obstruct your path. The
blue one, on the contrary, make the cells regress, allowing you to move on.

- Start by activating the red flower close to you, in the lower right corner
of the room. This should push a platform, but also obstruct your way.
- Get near the obstacle and a skit will show up. (Skit #381)
- Now that you've seen that skit, use the nearby blue flower, and then the one
just above.
- You may now go to the northwest side of the room, and activate a red flower.
- Once the puzzle is cleared, all the flowers should wither. Exit through the
west path.

At the intersection, start with the path to the lower left. New puzzle.

- Start with the nearby blue flower to open two paths.
- Go to the red flower at southwest first.
- You can now go to the northwest side of the room. Activate the red flower
first, then the blue one.
- Now go northeast, and once again, the red flower to send a platform to
another room, then the blue one.
- All the flowers should wither.

Now back track to the intersection and this time take the upper left path into
a room. Exit through the left, and take either path at north into the third
puzzle room.

- Start with the blue flower again to open the paths.
- Activate the red flower at northwest to push one platform, then the blue one.
- Activate the red flower at south to push two platforms, then the blue one.
- Activate the flower at west and a platform should be sent into another room.
- All the flowers should wither.

Done? Now we want to go back to the room with the second puzzle. Take the east
exit for a new book, and walk in the ascending current. In the next room, go
right, down and left back into the second puzzle room.

You'll see not one, but two skits near the save point. (Skit #222) (Skit #223)

Save, and follow the path to the left to a boss.

Boss: Richard
Richard has changed a lot now, and he's much more dangerous. He'll be able to
escape from your combos more easily, and has a few dangerous attacks. One of
them is a huge fire wheel. It's easy to avoid it with a side step and gives a
lot of boost in your Eleth Meter if you have a good timing. Get hit, however,
and you'll be down on the floor, completely open to following attacks.
Also, watch out when he slams the ground. It creates two ice shockwaves which
can freeze you, so it can be deadly at point blank range.
Richard can also use Fearful Storm (and it's not like Pascal's version, it
will target you), Shade Imperial (watch out for this one) and Death Bringer.
That last one is rare, but it has a huge area of effect, making it hard to
avoid.
His mystic arte is also different and more dangerous.

After the battle, you'll be able to open the menu to change your strategy
settings. If you want, eat a recipe to heal yourself (I'll never understand
how you can find the time to cook and eat between consecutive battles in this
series), as you'll be thrown into another boss battle.

Boss: Emeraude
Emeraude was (almost) a joke in the Wii version, but she's much stronger in
the PS3 version. She will mainly try to warp away from you and snipe you with
dark projectiles. The real trouble with her is that she will often create a
black shockwave around her that makes it hard to close on her. Therefore, I'd
advise you let Malik or Cheria start the combo. Be aware, however, that
Emeraude will try to snipe your mages to prevent this.
She also has some dangerous attacks. One of them is a red lightning that has a
very slow startup, but does huge damage, is unblockable and causes paralysis.
You need to move with perfect timing to avoid it, but you can't really tell
who she'll target with that attack.
She can also use the spell Whirlwind. This spell has a large area of effect,
does lots of damage, and stays on the field for a long time (to the point it's
possible to cast Whirlwind a second time before the first one even vanishes.
Looks like she took lessons from Accelerator).
When she gets in Eleth Break, she'll either try to use her mystic arte, or the
spell Killing Field. Both do lots of damage, and Killing Field covers the
whole battlefield so since the AI is too dumb to guard against it, that's
trouble on higher difficulties.

Once the battle is over, you should get a trophy.

Trophy: The Fallen Eden

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV.10 Chapter 8 (Adult arc part 7.1)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can now use the Shuttle to go to (almost) any location but it's pointless
to go anywhere but Lhant right now. Note that you can summon the Shuttle in
most towns and fields, but you can never summon it in dungeons.

Lhant

Go in the manor and watch the skit at the save point. (Skit #224)

Now enter the office, and eventually you'll be left with Asbel alone. Go to
the save point again. (Skit #225)

Now exit the manor. Once the team is back together, leave through the northern
gate.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

North Lhant Road

Don't forget the skit in front of Lhant Hill entrance. (Skit #226)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant Hill

Simply go on top of the hill for a scene. Before returning to Lhant, get near
the tree. (Skit #227)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

Now you'll be left with Asbel alone again, and it's the usual let's speak with
everyone time. Hubert is in the manor office. Sophie is in the garden in front
of the manor. Malik is on the bridge in the middle of the town. Pascal is just
next to him on the left. Cheria is near the northern exit. Once you've talked
with everyone, go to Asbel's room and sleep.

The next morning, you can see a skit on the bridge. (Skit #228)

Talk with Fourier, and she'll give her sister a scarf. That event isn't
recorded, but for once, you get a reward. Make sure you get the scarf, because
it's actually decent equipment for Pascal, and Fourier will leave once you
clear the game.

In Asbel's room, you can find an armor that only he can equip.

Of course, now that the last dungeon can be reached with the Shuttle, there
are a lot of new subevents to do. We could take care of those now, but there
are some skits that will only show up once you clear some of the final dungeon,
and we don't want to do more backtracking just for skits, do we?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ghardia Shaft

Ghardia Shaft: Base

As soon as you enter the dungeon, go to the save point for a skit. (Skit #229)

Now take the warp at the center. Follow the path to the right until you reach
a lift. Take it, then go left. There will be two warps. Take the lower one for
an Arithmos Core in a chest. Then take the left one to a new warp.

Follow the path to the next lift on the right. You'll find a little puzzle.
Basically, you need to walk on the colored cases in a specific order (red,
yellow, blue). If you mess up or walk on the same case twice, an enemy will
attack (only the first times), and you'll be sent back to the beginning of the
puzzle.

First, follow the colored path to the chest on the upper left corner for a
second Arithmos Core. There's no other choixe here: let yourself be sent back
to the entrance of the puzzle. Now walk again on the puzzle and reach the save
point. A warp will activate, but it's to go back to the entrance of the room,
so don't bother with it. Take the lift behind.

You'll find a boss here.

Boss: Dullahan x2
Those guys aren't difficult, but some of their attacks can not be blocked.
They're easy to avoid though.

Keep going to the next lift. Eventually you'll find two more lifts. Take the
lower one first.

You'll find a golem here. There are six of them here, and you need to use
those Arithmos Cores you found to wake them up. Basically, those golems don't
have a lot of techniques, but they hit hard, especially if they catch you and
throw you away.
Also, be careful because when the battle starts, they'll wait for you to close
on them to activate their armor, which will damage everyone around them.
If you defeat them, they'll drop good weapons for your characters. The only
exception is that golem in front of you. Anyway, wake that golem up.

Boss: Abysseon
You'll get the Argo Iris for defeating this golem. (Subevent #65)

Now, backtrack and take the lift on the left. You'll see a scene with a
translucent wall.

Keep going to the next warp, then go right for a lift. You should see a chest
a bit further with a new book for the eleth mixer. Anyway, keep going right
until you reach the next save point. (Skit #230)

Now take the lift on the right first to find the second golem.

Boss: Destinion
You'll get a weapon for Sophie.

Backtrack to the save point, and take the other lift.

New (and much bigger) room with colored cases. As usual, the correct order is
red, yellow, blue.

There's a chest in the upper right corner of the room. The path is up, left,
up three times, right, up. You'll have to warp back to the entrance after that.

To move on, the path is up, left, up twice, left, up twice (hourglass), left,
down twice (Arithmos Core), down twice again (red lavender), left, up twice,
left, up. Once again, the warp here will take you back to the entrance of the
room. Ignore it, take the lift, and go through the next translucent wall.
(Skit #231)

A bit above, you'll see a discovery. (Discovery #74) (Skit #232)

Go on to the right, you'll find a new save point and a skit. (Skit #233)

The warp behind it takes you to Ghardia Shaft: Center.

Now that we've reached Ghardia Shaft: Center, the skits will unlock. The warp
you just take also now works as a shortcut to the entrance of the dungeon, so
we're going to take it and take care of all the subevents we can find.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV.11 Chapter 8 (Subevents 2)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There's a lot to do so let's get started.

Oswell Family Vault

On the world map, scan at (X:2 Y:-308) to find this place. Defeat the enemy
here and Hubert will get his title with his third mystic arte. (Subevent #36
cleared)

Search the whole place for treasures. You should find some armor only Hubert
can equip and three materials (Imperial Crest, Bizarre Clump and Toxic Fluid).
Don't sell them, you'll need them for a subevent. (Subevent #61)

And you should also see a skit near a painting. (Skit #325)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shuttle Crash Site

On the world map, scan at (X:-380 Y:130) to find this place. Make sure you
save before you come here.

On the right of the Shuttle vessel, you'll find some armor only Sophie can
equip.

Near the vessel, a skit should show up. (Skit #326)

Done? Now make sure you equip titles that reduce damage before checking the
event star. Smash the humanoid (he can't attack or defend himself) until his
HP becomes unknown. Now run away from him and guard. He'll try to self-
destruct. If you can survive, the event will be cleared. (Subevent #32
cleared)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seaside Cavern

Now warp to the Seaside cavern and follow the path until you find a chest that
wasn't there before. You'll get a fork in it. (Subevent #21)

Keep going until you reach the save point. (Skit #335)

Time to go to Barona.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona

There's a lot of things to do here. First, let's see a skit at the inn. (Skit
#329)

While you're here, give the fork at the inn requests. (Subevent #21 cleared)
You'll get some armor only Cheria can equip.

Talk to Victoria in the knight training school. (Subevent #65)

Go near the Valkines Cryas. There's a warp that will take you to one of three
dragons you have to defeat for a subevent. Those dragons are extremely
powerful and this one is the weakest of the three, so if you can't defeat him,
better come back later. (Subevent #64)

Now talk to the man in the house near the sanctuary. (Subevent #31)

Now enter the sanctuary and the catacombs.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona Catacombs

You'll see a skit at the save point at the end of the dungeon. (Skit #334)

In the room behind the save point, you'll find the ship model. (Subevent #17)

You may now leave the dungeon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Turtlez HQ

On the world map, scan at (X:334 Y:180) to find this place. Those are the
coordinates on the memo you got much earlier in the game.

Talk to the Turtlez in front of you for a title with Sophie's Gothic Lolita
costume. (Subevent #24)

At the other side of the village, you'll see a skit. (Skit #327)

Talk to the Turtlez on the right side of the village near the entrance. He'll
sell you Aston's sword for 120000 Gald. You can buy it now if you want, or
wait and clear a post-game subevent to get it for free. (Subevent #65)

Warp to Barona castle now.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona Castle

You'll see a skit at the save point in the main hall. (Skit #336)

Now talk to Dale in the throne room. If you have Aston's sword, Asbel will get
a title with his third mystic arte. (Subevent #65)

Go back to the main hall. Now go right and through the corridor. Go right
twice, you'll walk by the Turtlez merchant, and end in another corridor. At
the end of this corridor, don't go right, but up and take the door to the left
near a soldier. Go left again in a room with a soldier, and once you're in a
corridor with two children, go up and left again. You'll find an item in a
chest. (Subevent #53)

Done? Now, warp to North Yu Liberte port.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

North Yu Liberte port

Talk with a man in the port. (Subevent #31)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Beach Resort

On the world map, scan at (X:-367 Y:-159) to find this place.

There's a discovery on the right. (Discovery #77) (Skit #364)

Go at the reception and you'll see a scene with everyone's swimsuits. Cheria
will get a title with her third mystic arte. (Subevent #68 cleared)

Now take the left door, you'll find the third and final attachment here.

More importantly, check behind the shark toy for an item. (Subevent #54)

Now, we saw everyone in their swimsuits, but we didn't get to keep them. Go
near the star next to the exit. You'll have to search Strahta for your
swimsuits now, so let's just do that. (Subevent #69)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oul Raye

As usual, there's a skit at the save point. (Skit #339)

Check the vase near the shops for Asbel's swimsuit title. (Subevent #69)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sable Izolle

Skit at the save point. (Skit #340)

Talk to the man near the inn. (Subevent #31 cleared)

You'll find Cheria's swimsuit title on the counter behind one of the shops.
It'll cost you 100000 Gald. (Subevent #69)

If you haven't done it already, crush the old man at the carta mini-game.
You'll see a skit if you clear the three levels, but don't forget the old man
must not score one point if you want to get the Vesperia costumes too.
(Subevent #58 cleared) (Skit #356)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yu Liberte

Talk to the man at the main gate and you'll get Malik's swimsuit title.
(Subevent #69)

If you managed to clear the fourth battle of Riot Peak, bring the reward back
to the inn requests to trigger a new event. The reward will let you create
Hubert's joke weapon. (Subevent #35 cleared)

You'll see a skit at the inn save point. (Skit #341)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Inside the Rockgagong

If you haven't done it already, try to steal the Rockgagong. It's fine to run
away after that. (Subevent #42)

Now go inside the Rockgagong and you'll see a fake watermelon southeast of the
place. Kill it for Hubert's swimsuit title. (Subevent #69)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strahta Desert Ruins

You'll see a skit at the save point. (Skit #342)

If you feel you're strong enough, you can fight the second dragon at the
Valkines Cryas. (Subevent #64)

Behind the Valkines Cryas is a new chest. Take the item inside. (Subevent #52)

Southwest of the dungeon is an enemy with Sophie's swimsuit title. (Subevent
#69)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Uncharted Sandstretch

Go back to the ruins at southeast. An event will trigger. After two battles,
you'll get a title with a costume for Pascal. (Subevent #28 cleared)

Now use the Amarcian key you found in Bathus Citadel to open the ruins.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sandshroud Ruins

This dungeon works pretty much like the Snowshroud Ruins. Power up the whole
place in the first room, and go down the stairs to the left.

You'll see a skit here. (Skit #362)

Kill the enemy a bit further for Pascal's swimsuit title. You know have all
the swimsuits. (Subevent #69 cleared)

In the room next to it, you'll see another skit. (Skit #383)

Now take the door on the right of the main room. You'll see there are arrow
switches here too. There's just a little difference though. You'll notice
there are squares on the ground. If you send the current on it, you'll either
make a chest appear... or an enemy. In any case, send the current on both
doors on the right side of the room.

In the next room with switches, you'll see the arrow switches are still there,
but there are also circular switches on the ground. You can turn them to
change the direction of the current too. Once again, you need to send the
current to the door at the bottom of the room.

Same deal with the next puzzle room, only you need to send the current both to
the front and back door. Take the back door first.

In this room, you'll see the current split in a red and blue current through a
filter. You'll also see there are colored cases on the ground. Well, for now,
just turn the arrow switches to open the next door.

Before you leave, a skit is supposed to appear at the save point in this
room.(Skit #363)
The weird thing is that, it does appear normally in the Wii version, but in
the PS3 version, for some reason, it doesn't seem to appear immediately. You
may have to clear some of the dungeon, exit and come back to make the skit
appear.

Next room, the purple line will split again. Take either door to enter the
first real puzzle of the dungeon. I'm pretty sure you guess what you have to
do here. You need to have the colored current go through all the matching
colored cases and to the gate at the other side of the room. This one is quite
easy... compared to the other puzzle of the dungeon. But if you're lazy,
here's the solution.

The blue current should follow this path:
- From the entrance, all the way down until it reaches the first split, where
it will go upwards.
- From the first split, it should go up until it runs over a purple square,
then left. The current will split and go upwards again.
- From the second split, it should go all the way to the left, then down twice
and left to reach the door.

The red current should follow this path:
- From the entrance, it should just follow the same path as the blue current
until it reaches the first split, where it will go left.
- Immediately after the first split, send it up, then right, and it will mix
with the blue current until it reaches the next split, where it'll go left
again.
- After the second split, send it down, then left twice, it should mix with
the blue current and open the door.

Make sure you get the book in one of the hidden chests in this room.

In the next room, you'll find a discovery. (Discovery #76) (Skit #384)

The warp takes you back to the entrance. Take it or don't take it, but we need
to go back to the room where you took the back door, and this time, take the
front door. You'll eventually reach the second true puzzle of the dungeon, and
this time the current splits in three colors.

If you want to search for the solution by yourself, here's the only thing you
need to know: don't gather all three colors at the same point, or the whole
puzzle will reset. To prevent this, I usually create the paths for two colors
manually, then create the third path without activating the very first arrow,
so that I can check as many times as needed if my three paths are correct.

This one is a real pain to explain, but here's the solution.

For the yellow current: up, right, right, down, split (down), down, down, left,
down, down, right, up, right, split (down), right, right, up, right.

For the blue current: right, right, split (up), up, up, right, down, split
(right), up, right, right, down, split (down), left, down, down, down, right,
up, right.

For the red current: up (make sure you activate this one last), right, up,
right, split (right), down, left, down, down, right, up, right, split (up), up,
up, right, up, up, right, down, split (right).

In the next room, smash the enemy, and get the items in the chests. You'll
find the Hero Staff and you'll need it for the cameos battle. Warp and leave
the dungeon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

Go talk to the maid for the requests and give the ship model. Asbel will get a
title with a costume. (Subevent #17 cleared)

While we're here, go in Asbel's room near the desk. (Skit #328)

Go in the room on the right of the first floor. Talk to the people there
repeatedly until you finally clear this event. (Subevent #63 cleared)
The Requiem sword you'll get there is for the cameos battle too.

You should have collected all the main seeds during your journey, so go in
front of Cheria's house and plant them. You'll get a carta at 7 flowers and a
title for Sophie at 10 flowers. You should also see a skit. (Skit #353)
Be aware though that it takes some time for the flowers to grow.
After that, an event star will appear near the shop (it won't appear
immediately though). Check it for a melon. You can now buy melons in Lhant's
shop. Melons can be used to make melon gels, which will increase your max HP
by 30% in battle (it can even make your characters go over 9999HP)
In any case, this should clear this subevent. (Subevent #56 cleared)

Now feed the cat that has appeared in Lhant's plaza. If you've given food to
the cats in every town, you'll be warped to the Katz Korner. If you've
forgotten a cat, here's a memo of their location:
Lhant: at the plaza (at the end of the game only)
Barona: near the sanctuary
Gralesyde: at the port
Oul Raye: in a house
Sable Izolle: near the research center
Yu Liberte: in a house on the left of the residential district
Riot Peak: near the stairs
Velanik: in one of the houses
Zavhert: in one of the houses
Amarcian Enclave: near Pascal's house.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Katz Korner

You'll find a new seed in this village. If you plant it in Cheria's house (you
need to clear event 56 before) a cat will follow you when you'll walk in Lhant.
Useless but might as well mention it.

Anyway, we can't talk to the katz for now, so there's not much we can do. Talk
to the old man and he'll give you a clue.

Open the chest. The password is foselos.

Check near the merry-go-round for a discovery. (Discovery #78) (Skit #367)

In the back room, you'll see another skit. (Skit #366)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cat-Crazy Coot's House

On the world map, scan at (X:332 Y:-392) to find this place. You'll see a
scene.

Now go back to the Katz Korner.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Katz Korner

Since we can talk with the Katz now, go to the inn and complete the last
requests in the list. (Subevent #52 cleared) (Subevent #53 cleared) (Subevent
#54 cleared)
The rewards will be a title with a costume for Hubert, Cheria, and some armor
only Pascal can equip.

Note that you can also talk to one of the Katz here to check which skits
you've already seen.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Velanik

Go to the save point in the inn. (Skit #343)

Talk to the man behind the stage. Since you already have the five princess
books, bring them back to the inn requests. (Subevent #60 cleared)
After the theatre play, go in the room behind the stage again. (Skit #358)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zavhert

Go to the inn for a skit. (Skit #344)

If you've managed to steal the Rockgagong's item, go to the inn request.
(Subevent #42 cleared)

Now we need to do some dualize:
Remember you can find Puffpetal Down from discovery #20.
You should also have found Imperial Crest, Bizarre Clump and Toxic Fluid from
Oswell Family Vault.
3 Venomous Needle + 3 Hazardous Liquid = 3 Caustic
3 Caustic + 3 Puffpetal Down = 3 Ballon Cloth
3 Ballon Cloth + 3 Puffpetal Down = 3 Stuffed Doll
Stuffed Doll + Imperial Crest = Estelle Plushie
Stuffed Doll + Bizarre Clump = Prince Plushie
Stuffed Doll + Toxic Fluid = Mizu-chan Plushie
Now go give those three plushies to Lara.
After the seventh doll, you'll get a title with Sophie's third mystic arte.
After the ninth and last doll, you'll see a scene and a skit. (Subevent #61
cleared) (Skit #359)
If you go to Lara's house again, you'll find a weapon for Sophie.

Now go to the city's port and talk to the old man. If you've found at least 40
cartas, he'll give you the Lost Anklet, and that item is required for the
cameos battle. You'll also see a skit. (Skit #354)

Now talk to the captain nearby and choose the unknown destination. Clear the
battle and the subevent. (Subevent #43 cleared)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona

Now that subevent #43 is done, talk to the barman in Barona. (Subevent #72
cleared)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fendel tower

You'll see a skit at the save point. (Skit #345)

You can now take the lift to the basement.

On your way to the 12th basement, talk to the spy. (Subevent #44 cleared)

At the 12th basement, there's a new book hidden behind the boxes, make sure
you don't miss it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fendel Research Laboratory

Take the lift that will take you to the boss room. Leave the room and there's
a skit at the save point here. (Skit #346)

Now go right and there's a star here. The reward you'll get allows you to
create Pascal's weird joke weapon. (Subevent #46 cleared)

Before you leave the room, check the boxes on the right for an item for an inn
request.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amarcian Enclave

There's a skit here at the save point. (Skit #347)

Go talk to Poisson and Gauss. If you have both Aston's sword and the Argo Iris,
you'll get Asbel's weapon Excalibur. (Subevent #65 cleared)

You can also clear the final levels for the shoot cube mini-game.

Level 10
Push the lower left block to the right, then up. Push the lower right block up,
then left, then the above block left too. Clear the puzzle.

Level 11
Push the upper block on the left side to the right. Push the lower block on
the right side to the left. Push the upper right block down. Push the blocks
on the left side to the right. Push the remaining upper block downwards. Clear
the puzzle.

Level 12
Now that one sure is fun. Push the lower left block up. Push the upped right
block down, but don't push it to the left yet. Push the block just below it to
the left, then push the lower right block up so that it takes its place. Now,
you can push the block above to the left. Push the lower block up. Push the
group of two blocks on the left side to the right. Push the upper block down.
Clear the puzzle.

As usual, here's a video, but as usual, those are other methods to clear the
puzzles.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WiXlmW9N7s

You'll see a skit after completing the mini-game. (Subevent #62 cleared) (Skit
#360)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fendel Glacier Ruins

Go to the deepest part of the ruins, you'll find a skit at the save point near
the Valkines Cryas. (Skit #348)

On the left of the room, there's a new path. Go to the deepest part here and
check the grave. Malik will get a title with his third mystic arte. (Subevent
#47 cleared)

If you feel like it, you can fight the third, final, and strongest dragon in
front of the Valkines Cryas. (Subevent #64 cleared)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lambda's Cocoon

Inside Lambda's Cocoon, go right, then down and right. You'll find a new book
in a chest. Take it and jump down the hole. Go left twice and check the event
star here. (Subevent #51 cleared)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Telos Astue

You know the deal, skit at the save point. (Skit #350)

Now talk to the humanoid on the right side of the room. Then, go to the second
floor in the room at the back. Check the star. (Subevent #66)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Humanoid Research Center

There's a skit at the save point of the 4th basement floor. (Skit #351)

Now go to the 2nd basement floor. In a room, Pascal will list the materials
she needs to repair the humanoid:
- Soaring Crystal x2
- Overgrown Crystal x2
- Formless Crytal x2
- Hyperdense Crystal x2
- Artificial Crystal x2
- Moist Crystal x2
Gather them, and enjoy your new Mecha-Sophie (Deluxe edition). (Subevent #66
cleared)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bathus Citadel

Go to the boss room. You'll see a skit at the save point before it. (Skit
#352)

Now enter the boss room for a subevent. (Subevent #40 cleared)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What's left now is...

Some skits in places we didn't visit again:
- Gralesyde inn (Skit #330)
- Wallbridge: save point in tower D basement (Skit #331)
- Orlen Woods: save point near the village (Skit #332)
- Wallbridge ruins: save point near the western exit (Skit #333)
- Border fortress between Lhant and Fendel (Skit #337)
- Lhant Hill: near the tree (Skit #338)
- Snowshroud Ruins: at the save point in the boss room (Skit #349)

Once you're ready, warp back to Ghardia Shaft: Center.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV.12 Chapter 8 (Adult arc part 7.2)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ghardia Shaft

Ghardia Shaft: Center

Go through the translucent wall for a scene and a skit. (Skit #234)

The nearby save point has a skit too. (Skit #235)

All right, now go to the left of the save point and you'll find a mechanism
with a small green sphere. Use it to make it spin once. Now go to the upper
right corner of this floor and there are two warps.

Take the left one; get the fourth Arithmos Core in a chest, and a green
crystal a bit further. Ignore the warp and come back to the green mechanism.

As you get near it, you'll see a skit. (Skit #382)

Now use the mechanism twice to put it back in its original position, and this
time take the right warp.

Put the green crystal in place, taking the orange one instead. Go left and
you'll eventually find the pink crystal. Take it, putting the orange one in
place. Don't bother with the orange mechanism for now. Instead, go back to the
green mechanism. Spin it once, and go take the left warp again. You can now
put the pink crystal in place.

Now take the warp nearby and wake up the golem.

Boss: Rebirtheon
You'll get a weapon for Cheria.

Now go back to the green mechanism, and use it twice, then go back to the
orange mechanism and use it once.

Go one warp back, and all the way to the right for another golem.

Boss: Vespereon
You'll get a weapon for Hubert.

Now go back to the floor with the orange mechanism and take the northwest warp.

You're in a room with 8 warps around you. Let's go to the save point first.
(Skit #238)

Now, let's consider the whole place as a clock.
- Take the warp at 7. Pick up the red crystal.
- Take the warp at 8. Use the yellow mechanism once.
- Take the warp at 10. (Discovery #75) (Skit #237)
- Take the warp at 11. Put the red crystal in place, taking the white one.
- Take the warp at 8. Use the yellow mechanism once.
- Take the warp at 5. Use the blue mechanism once.
- Take the warp at 4. Get the fifth Arithmos Core.
- Take the warp at 1. Pick up the purple crystal, leaving the white one here.
- Take the warp at 2. Put the purple crystal in place, taking the blue one.
- Take the warp at 7. Put the blue crystal in place.
- You can now cross over at 6. Pick up the black crystal.
- Take the warp at 1. Put the black crystal in place, taking the white one.
- Go back at 6. Put the white crystal in place.

At 3 and 9 are two golems. But since you only have one Arithmos Core left,
you'll have to choose which one you want to fight for now.

Boss: Phantasion
This one is at 9. You'll get a weapon for Malik.

Boss: Symphonion
This one is at 3. You'll get a weapon for Pascal.

Anyway, go at 12 now.

Boss: Plumsap Treant x2
This is an easy boss. They can summon backup and will try to split up once
they've taken enough damage, but you can just kill them before they do.

Go through the final translucent wall now. (Skit #236)

The warp takes you to the...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ghardia Shaft: Depths

That warp you just used is now a shortcut to the entrance. Watch out as
enemies here can curse you, which can cause huge damage to your characters.

Take the warp on the left, then the lower one and you'll find the final
Arithmos Core. Backtrack to crush the final golem.

Anyway, you only need to keep going to the left and you'll eventually meet a
random boss again.

Boss: Proserpina x2
Nothing special. They fly, so some artes don't work very well here but that's
it.

Keep going until you reach the final save. (Skit #239)

The warp on the left is a shortcut to the entrance. The other one sends you to
the final boss.

Boss: Richard
He's more or less the same than last time.

After the scene, the menu will open, and you can prepare yourself for the last
battle.

Boss: Lambda Angelus
Trophy: Lambda Angelus in 60 Seconds
Lambda will use his nova barrier only after you start attacking him (unless
you lose and retry). This wasn't an easy battle in the Wii version, but he's
even more dangerous in the PS3 version. He has a lot of spells. Soul Reaper
(this will heal him, but he won't use it under 75% HP), Sword Deluges, Death
Bringer, Shade Imperial, Vengeant Fangs, Glacial Rain, Fearful Storm, Culling
Flare (unblockable) and Dragon Slayer.
Watch out if he tries to catch you. He'll hit you a lot, making your max CC
drop, and his last throw does huge damage. If you get caught, have your allies
attack Lambda and he'll release you. When he's low on HP, he'll use some sort
of Meteor Storm-like attack. The rocks cannot be blocked so watch out. He can
also petrify, freeze or weaken you with his other attacks.
Otherwise, he'll use a mystic arte, of course, if given the chance.
Once his HP are below 10000, use any mystic arte and your third mystic arte
will automatically go off and (in theory) end the battle. For some trolling in
the next chapter, it's best to do this with Malik.

You need to defeat Lambda Angelus in less than one minute, but since he's the
final boss, you can always try that later with a better level and more titles.

Once the game is cleared, you can save. You'll also get trophies.

Trophy: A Pact Fulfilled (clear the game in any difficulty)

If you've defeated him on a difficulty above normal, you'll also get one of
the following trophies:
Trophy: Game Clear: Moderate
Trophy: Game Clear: Hard
Trophy: Game Clear: Evil
Trophy: Game Clear: Chaos
Now this is stupid, but you need to clear the game in each of the above
difficulty to get all the trophies. Getting the chaos trophy doesn't earn you
the other ones. They sure didn't want to bother with trophies when they ported
the game, did they?

Now you have two options. You can either:
- reload that save you just made and take care of the secret dungeon.
- or you can try the future arc.

I think the secret dungeon is much harder in the PS3 version, so I'd advise
you do the future arc first. This one can be done by going in the extra menu
on the title screen.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV.13 Chapter 9 (Future arc)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

You'll start in Lhant with Asbel and Sophie. Check the grave. (Discovery #79)
(Skit #241)

Go to the manor for a scene.

Go in Asbel's room near the desk. (Skit #242)

Now go in the office for another skit. (Skit #243)

There's a star event here too. (Subevent #67 cleared)

You are free to use the Shuttle if you want, but you can't go to Fodra. Also,
keep in mind that the skits are located in such a way that you're likely to
see them if you walk instead of using the Shuttle to warp straight to your
destination. Of course, since you're following this guide, you can just use
the Shuttle and go straight to the skits instead.

So, let's start with a few subevents.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oul Raye

Talk to the captain in the port. This subevent isn't recorded and there's no
reward.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Turtlez HQ

Go to the back of the village. Give an apple, a banana and a peach to clear
the event. The Turtlez transports now work again, although you don't need them
anymore since you have the Shuttle. (Subevent #81 cleared)

Now back to the story.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

East Lhant Highroad

If you use the Shuttle, you'll land right near some monsters. Defeat them and
back to the manor in Lhant.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

The next day, go in the room on the first floor. Sophie isn't here so it's
Asbel alone. Exit the town at southeast.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

East Lhant Highroad

There's a skit at the save point as you exit the town. (Skit #244)

Now just use the Shuttle and go straight to...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona Castle

You'll meet Cheria in the castle. Go to the throne room, and Richard, Hubert
and Malik will join too.

There's a skit at the save point in the main hall. (Skit #246)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona

Go in front of the Valkines Cryas for another skit (Skit #245)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

Go to Lhant and there's an event in front of Cheria's house. (Subevent #13
cleared)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona Catacombs

A bit further and down this dungeon is a new warp to a new dungeon. Make sure
you see the skit first before using it. (Skit #247)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gustworks Ruins

There's a skit near the save point here. (Skit #248)

Now move on for a short boss

Boss: Plumsap Treant
You've met that enemy already, and he's still the same. You have to use Hubert,
Malik and Cheria only for this boss, but he shouldn't be much of a threat.

Once the battle is over, you'll take control of Asbel and Richard. There's a
save point on the right, a machine to buy stuff or recover nearby, and a skit
on the left. (Skit #249)

Now, keep going. Enemies here aren't too dangerous, but don't forget you don't
have healing spells with Asbel and Richard. At the first intersection, the
lower path is for a cloak and the upper one for a scene.

Now you switch back to Hubert.

Use the moving platform at north, then east. The two platforms at south lead
to chests. To move on, go north twice. New scene, new healing machine, new
skit on the left. (Skit #251)

Now go north, then right, then the upper left to send a block to Asbel's floor.
Keep going until you can switch back to Asbel.

Go up to hit a block, then backtrack and go right this time. Switch to Hubert.

With Hubert's group, go right, then down. Hit the block on the right, then
take the upper platform. There's a chest a bit further up. To move on, go to
the lower right. Make sure you hit another block by going down, then left,
before you switch back to Asbel.

With Asbel, go north.

At the intersection follow the path on the left until you reach a discovery.
(Discovery #80) (Skit #250)

Now go back to the intersection and take your right. Keep going north and hit
the block on the right. Now backtrack and switch to Hubert.

With Hubert, go up, then right. At the intersection, go down then left to hit
a block. Back at the intersection, go right and switch to Asbel.

With Asbel, go up, then the lower right. The lower path leads to a chest. Go
right, up, and immediately to your right to hit a block. Switch to Hubert.

With Hubert, go up, then left. At the intersection, go down for a chest, and
up to move on. At this new intersection, there are three paths. Go right first
to hit a block. Then go left for a carta, but don't go any further. Instead,
back track and take the lift. Switch to Asbel.

With Asbel, just follow the path until you meet with Hubert's group. There's a
skit on your left. (Skit #252)

Now take the block north. Don't bother with the lift on the right. Go up.
The platform on the right leads to a chest, the upper one is to move on.
Another intersection. The left platform leads to a chest (once again, don't go
any further), the right one leads to a save point with a skit. (Skit #253)

Now save and take the lift.

Boss: Legendary Wyvern x3
Just fight those monsters until the battle automatically ends. After a scene,
you're forced to use Asbel in this battle, and this time it's the real deal.

Boss: Legendary Wyvern x3
The wyverns are back at full HP with a new battle theme. You can now use
Asbel's accel mode. Use it and get rid of those monsters.

You'll be able to see a skit after the battle. (Skit #255)

Now what we want to do is... leave this place.

Take the lift back to the save point. Use the lower left platform, then take
the next two moving platforms on the lower right. Take the lift on the upper
left.

Now go left. At the intersection, stop to record a new discovery. (Discovery
#81) (Skit #254)
You'll need to come back here with Pascal to operate the mechanism and get
access to the carta on the other side.

Anyway, go left and follow the path to the exit.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona Catacombs

You'll see a skit as you try to exit this place. (Skit #257)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona

You'll see a skit as you exit the sanctuary. (Skit #313)
This skit triggers a subevent a bit later. But let's take care of another
subevent first.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gralesyde

Cheria should have earned her title with her Accel mode a bit earlier, so
let's take care of her mystic arte. You should see a skit as soon as you land.
(Skit #312)

Now go to the inn and check the event star. (Subevent #76 cleared)
Cheria will get her title with her fourth mystic arte. For your information,
Accel mode mystic artes get stronger with each use, for a maximum once you hit
200 uses.

Now we're supposed to go to the Amarcian Enclave, but first things first.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fendel Borderlands

Make sure you land here and walk to Velanik. This may seem stupid, but you
need to do that for a skit later.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Velanik

You'll see a skit at the inn. (Skit #256)

Next to the save point is an event. (Subevent #77)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zavhert

Check the star in the main plaza to clear the event and get Malik's title with
his crazy awesome fourth mystic arte. (Subevent #77 cleared)

Of course, there's a skit inside the inn. (Skit #258)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amarcian Enclave

As you arrive here, you'll run into Poisson who'll tell you Pascal and Sophie
left for Fendel Glacier Ruins.

Before we go there too, let's check the village's save point. (Skit #259)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fendel Glacier Ruins

Just go to the Valkines Cryas. You'll run into a skit at the second save point.
(Skit #260)

Sophie and Pascal will join for the boss battle.

Boss: Titan Beetle x4
An easy battle, since those monsters aren't too resistant.

Go near the save point after the battle. (Skit #261)

Before we leave, take the passage left of the Valkines Cryas and look for the
Gnome Cloak for Richard in a chest. Equip it for a skit. (Skit #316)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amarcian Enclave

Go talk to Poisson and Fourier. After that, new skit. (Skit #262)

Also, Pascal and Malik should now have their titles with accel mode.

As you're about to leave the village, the three girls will leave the group.
You're left with a team of men... which should lead to interesting victory
quotes.

Now, go back to the center of the village for a skit. (Skit #263)
This skit will only appear if you walked in front of the crater in Fendel
Borderlands. If you didn't, then it's not too late to fix this.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Riot Peak

As usual, skit at the save point. (Skit #264)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yu Liberte

There are a few skits here. The first one should pop up as you land at the
south gate with the Shuttle. (Skit #266)

Next one is under the fountain in the residential district. (Skit #265)

Go to the presidential building for a scene. Hubert will get his title with
his accel mode, and you can see a skit to trigger the next subevent. (Skit
#311)

Go to Oswell manor in the residential district now. Hubert will get his title
with his fourth mystic arte. (Subevent #75 cleared)

Now talk to the president. Richard gets his title with his accel mode. Warp to
the next dungeon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strahta Desert Ruins

As you enter the dungeon, you'll have to kill some monsters. After that, skit.
(Skit #267)

Of course, you can't go straight to the Valkines Cryas, and you have to do the
puzzle again.
- First puzzle: red, blue, yellow
- Second puzzle: yellow, blue, red
- Third puzzle: yellow, blue, red (optional)
- Fourth puzzle: blue, red, yellow.

Go to the save point. (Skit #268)

Now go to the Valkines Cryas for a quick battle.

As you're about to leave, you should see a skit. (Skit #269)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amarcian Enclave

Go in front of Pascal's house and the girls will join again. Sophie now has
her title with her accel mode. You should also see two skits. (Skit #270)
(Skit #310)
This last skit triggers an event we'll take care of right now. If you don't
have any, pick up some chocolate at the fountain here.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zavhert

As you land here, you should see a skit for another subevent. (Skit #315)

Now go to Fermat's house and talk to her husband. Talk to him again to give
Fermat some chocolate. Sophie gets her title with her fourth mystic arte.
(Subevent #74 cleared)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lhant

You'll see a skit again for a subevent here, and we'll take care of it
immediately. (Skit #309)

Go in the manor office. Asbel will get his title with his fourth mystic arte.
(Subevent #73 cleared)

Now warp to Barona castle with the Shuttle.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barona

You'll actually land in front of the castle, right next to a new event.
Richard gets his title with his fourth mystic arte. Only Pascal left now.
(Subevent #79 cleared)

Before we leave for Fodra, let's have some fun.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sable Izolle

Go to the basement of the research building for an event. (Subevent #83
cleared)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Beach Resort

Go on the beach and talk to the Turtlez. (Subevent #82 cleared)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Riot Peak

Go to the counter. Pascal will repair the lift and you can now try the Masters
Class Rank in the arena (and only this rank. The other ones aren't available
in this chapter).
Basically this works just like the master rank: you have to switch characters
with every battle. The difference is that you battle different type of enemies
on each battle, as well as old bosses:
- First battle: slimes
- Second battle: bugs
- Third battle: humans (you'll end up fighting Victoria in her swimsuit. Huh.)
- Fourth battle: beasts
- Fifth battle: machines and other non-living enemies
- Sixth battle: reptiles and dragons.

Clear all that, and you'll fight Poisson on top of the arena.

Boss: Poisson
You won't get a game over here if you lose, since it's the arena. Poisson is
quite hard to combo, and she has many pow hammer artes. A lot of them are easy
to predict though, and I'd advice against standing in front of her when she
uses her Pow Pow Hammer artes, a shotgun blast at point blank range is no fun
when you're on the wrong side of it. Her Hammer Rain arte makes, well, pow
hammers fall everywhere on the field, so it's a bit unpredictable. She also
has a very powerful mystic arte, but I've fought her a lot and hardly saw her
use it.

Anyway, defeat her. (Subevent #80 cleared)

Now we can finally leave for Fodra.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Telos Astue

You'll be attacked as you land. The floor has lots of monsters running wild,
so just clean up this mess.

Once it's done, cook some bread with fermented beans (nattou), and eat it.
Go near the discovery in the right room of the floor for a skit. (Skit #271)

If you want to complete the monster data, please note that although completely
optional in this chapter, there are new enemies in Region 13.

On the floor, there's a humanoid who will give you the narikiri titles if you
bring him the dolls of your characters. Since you have 7 characters, you need
6 of each type of narikiri doll to get the titles for everyone.

To move on, go in the room on the left in the basement. After the scene, exit,
and you can use the Shuttle to reach a new dungeon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eleth Research Laboratory

Let's start with the skit at the save point. (Skit #272)

The middle door and the lift on the left are locked, so take the one on the
right.

In the corridor, the left is obstructed by some toxic gas, so go right near
the colored platforms. (Skit #273)

Now go to the control panel.
- For the carta, lower the blue and yellow platforms once, and raise the red
one once.
- Reset the puzzle.
- Raise the yellow platforms once, the red ones twice, and lower the blue ones
once.
You can now reach the other side.

You'll see debris here. A path will open only after you clear this dungeon so
make sure you come back later for a carta.

For now, we don't have a choice, so take the door on the left, and go through
the rooms until you reach the corridor again, but on the other side of the
toxic gas.

Go near the control panel on the left.
- Raise the red and blue platforms once, and lower the yellow ones twice.
- An alternative solution is to raise the blue platforms twice and lower the
yellow ones twice.
- Go to the other side.
- Reset.
- Raise the yellow platforms once, the blue ones twice, and lower the red ones
once. Get the lever in the chest.
- Reset.
- Make a path to the other side again.

Now go to the pipe with the toxic gas and use the lever to shut it down. You
can now take the carta here and use the lift to go back to the dungeon
entrance if you want.

Anyway, go back to the puzzle on the left, cross it, and take the door.

You'll be in a new corridor. Don't bother with the door on your right, go to
the other side of the corridor and take the lift.

In the next room, the middle corridor isn't open, so take the lift on the
right, but don't forget the skit at the save point first. (Skit #274)

Follow the corridor and take the door on the other side.

New discovery there. (Discovery #82) (Skit #275)

As well as a save point you should use. (Skit #276)

Now go left.

Boss: Lilitina
Another boss I hate. He's not that dangerous, but it can be really hard to do
a decent combo here.

There will be a scene after the battle. Don't drop your controller here,
there's a bad surprise coming soon.

As soon as you have control of your character again, start moving. Fire lasers
will burst out of the ground and damage you if you stand still. There's a
carta in the chest. Of course, you'll take damage if you pick it up now, so
it's up to you if you want to take it now or come back later.

Take the left door to exit the room. You'll end up in a corridor you've
already visited. The fire lasers are still here, so run to the other side of
the corridors and take the lift.

In the room, this time you can take the middle corridor.

Now this is where we'll see how good you are at grazing. You'll have to run to
the other side of the bridge to escape the building. Thing is, the fire lasers
won't follow you anymore. Instead, they'll create huge barrages of fire in
front of you. Not only will those fire beams damage you, they'll also send you
a few meters back. It wouldn't be that much of a problem since they can't kill
you, if it wasn't for the fact that if you fail to reach the end of the bridge
quickly, monsters will pop up behind and rush at you. And it's no fun
beginning a battle with 1HP.

Anyway, reach the end of the bridge and you'll crash in the next dungeon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arcadia Garden

Those who played the demo should know this place. Only, it's much more
annoying than it was in the demo, especially if you're after the treasure
chests. Oh and, just like Lambda's Cocoon, you can't leave until you defeat
the boss here. You can buy stuff or heal yourself if you speak with Psi though.

So, let's get near the save point first. (Skit #277)

Go northeast for a scene, then east to enter the real dungeon.

Basically there are 6 areas here. To find the exit, you need to follow the
paths with the butterflies.

If you want to get all of the items, now that's another story. Just like the
demo, there are translucent walls here and there. In the demo, they were real
walls. This time, they're warps. Considering this place is already a real maze,
it doesn't help having warps everywhere, especially because some warps only
appear once you reach a dead-end and will force you to be warped to some other
place of the maze.

Anyway. From the starting point in area 1, don't bother with the warps. Just
go right into area 2. At the very east of this area is a huge bear. You'll
need to give him 5 items you'll find in chests in the dungeon so that he
leaves and grant you access to the treasures behind him. This is completely
optional though.

South of area 2 is a huge room in area 3. Check the big flower there.
(Discovery #83) (Skit #278)

Ok, now to exit the place:
- Take the right path, then go follow the main path and the butterflies to the
left. A warp should close the path behind you, don't worry about it.
- Go south into the warp with the butterflies.
- You should end up in area 4. Go take the warp on your left.
- In area 5, follow the path to area 6.
- In area 6, go down and a warp should close the path behind you. Take it.

You'll be right in front of the exit, and near a save point with a skit. (Skit
#279)

Exit at south and follow the path to the boss.

Boss: Little Queen x10 (Melee style)
The battle starts with three of those girls, but more will come as you defeat
them. Little Queen actually has three different battle styles, but you'll only
be introduced to the first one here. You'll notice she use some classic artes
from the series. After her HP drop below 50%, she'll also cast the spell
Vortex.
Her mystic arte cover the whole field, but it's not very powerful and can't
kill you. That being said, every Little Queen can use it so it can be
troublesome if there are three or four of them on the field.
Oh, and Cheria's Innocent Garden won't end the battle instantly if you defeat
all the Little Queen on the battlefield at once with it. You really have to
defeat all 10 of them.

Once the battle is over, keep going left to end up... in front of the Shuttle.
What was the point of all this trouble through this stupid maze, seriously?
Warp back to Telos Astue.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Telos Astue

Go in the left room in the basement floor. Exit after the scene and agree to
rest. You'll now control Asbel in the room on the right on the second floor.
You have to talk to everyone again. Yes, we're already before the final
dungeon.

You'll see Pascal on the left side of the floor, working on Mecha-Asbel (test
version).
Hubert is in the middle of the room.
On the first floor, Richard is on the right and Malik on the left.
Finally, Cheria is standing in the middle of the basement floor.
After you've talked to her and Sophie, go back to the second floor and sleep
in the room on the right.

After that, you can use the Shuttle to go to the final dungeon.

But let's see a skit first, which will allow us to clear the final subevent of
this chapter. (Skit #314)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amarcian Enclave

Go in front of Pascal's house. Pascal will upgrade Mecha-Asbel from "test" to
"SP" version. Well, whatever she did, she now has her title with her fourth
mystic arte. (Subevent #78 cleared)

Now let's go to the final dungeon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lastalia Shaft

Lastalia Shaft: Base

I know lots of people don't like this dungeon, but I find it fun. Before we
start, make sure you've bought charms against status ailments.

Next to the shuttle is a save point. (Skit #280)

Now follow the long path to the warp.

You'll reach the first floor of Lastalia Shaft: Base. This layer has 6 levels.
The thing here is that the lifts are one-way only. You can only go down with
them, and you have to use warps to go back up. This can make it a bit hard to
navigate.

Anyway, you're free to explore at will, but I'll only tell you how to reach
the end.
- First, go up.
- At the intersection, go up again (the lower path leads to a chest).
- At the next intersection, go left. The upper path is a warp exit, we'll come
back there soon.
- At the next intersection, go left again.
- Take the lift there. You'll see a skit as you take a lift for the first time.
(Skit #281)
- You're at level 3. At the intersection, go up and take the lift.
- You're at level 5. Hit the switch, check behind the stairs for a chest, and
use the warp.
- You're back at level 1, at the warp exit I mentioned earlier.
- Go back to level 3, this time, go down to take the other lift.
- You're at level 4, take the warp.
- You're at level 1. Follow the path to the right (you can find a chest if you
go up at the intersection though). Take the lift.
- You're at level 2. At the first intersection, go to the upper right, and
follow the path straight to a lift.
- You're at level 6. Just follow the path, open the chest, and check the
discovery in the upper right corner. (Discovery #84) (Skit #282)

Now go left to a cross intersection with a save point. (Skit #283)
The warp on the left brings you back to the starting point of the first level
(Don't worry, it's a two-way warp)
The warp at the bottom will create a shortcut to the dungeon entrance, near
the Shuttle.
To move on, go up and take the lift. It should be usable if you activated the
switch earlier.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lastalia Shaft: Depths

You'll end up in the first floor of the lower layer, and right into a boss
battle.

Boss: Little Queen (Ring blade style); Egregoroi x3
This is Little Queen's second style. She'll start the battle by only casting
the Whirlwind and Diabolic Ascent spells. Once she's below 75% HP, she'll stop
using magic and will attack with her ring blade. Watch out for her traps on
the ground, the purple glyph will petrify you and the black one will poison
you.
She still has her mystic arte, and if you've already seen it last time, you'll
notice that this Little Queen's animation is slightly different.

Once she's defeated, go near the save point. (Skit #284)

Now allow me to explain how the lower layer works. In floors 2 to 6, your
characters will be inflicted with a specific status ailment for every battle.
On each floor, there's a colored crystal somewhere, and there's a golem
somewhere else. When you kill the golem, he'll drop a bottle of colored liquid
you can use to break the crystal, thus shutting down the status ailment of
this floor. Breaking the crystal will also make some platforms move, allowing
you to progress further. Of course, until you break the crystal of a floor, I
strongly advise equipping your charms to prevent said status ailment.

Now, let's take the lift to level 2. The status ailment here is "burn". The
red crystal is right next to you. Go near it for a skit. (Skit #285)

Now go left, and at the intersection, go left again to fight the first golem.

Backtrack and break the crystal, then go back to the intersection, and go
right this time. Go south, and you'll see a huge stalagmite. Break it and it
will fall to the fourth floor, creating a bridge.

Now move on to the lift.

You're on level 3. The status ailment here is "slow". This floor is just a big
circle. The golem is at west and the crystal at north. Break it and take the
lift next to it.

You're on level 4. The status ailment here is "poison". If you go all the way
to the south, you should be able to cross the gap thanks to the stalagmite you
broke earlier. Here, break a new stalagmite and it will fall to the fifth
floor.

To find the golem, go all the way to the west. Make sure you get carta #52
here, because the platform you need to walk across will drop once you break
this floor's crystal.

The crystal is all the way to the right. Break it, then backtrack a bit and
take the floor.

You're not on level 5 but on level 6. The alteration here is "weakness". Go
all the way to the south and you'll see a black spot on the ground. Stand on
it and call the lift to go up to the fifth floor.

This floor is optional and the alteration is paralysis. If you've broken the
second stalagmite, you can walk across the gap. The golem is on the right, and
the crystal on the left. Break it and backtrack to level 6.

Now follow the path to find the last golem at northwest. Behind him is another
black spot. Call the lift to go back to level 5. Now go right and you'll find
the last discovery. (Discovery #85) (Skit #286)

Backtrack to level 6. The crystal is at northeast. Break it and backtrack a
bit for the lift to level 7.

If you've broken all the crystals, then there shouldn't be any status ailments
here. If not, any status ailment you haven't cancelled can affect you in the
next boss battle.

If you've broken all the crystals, there's also a platform at the upper right
with a chest. There's a weird bug that can cause the chest to be already open
if you play this chapter several times.

If you walk south a bit, you'll find a shortcut to the dungeon entrance, and a
save point. (Skit #287)

Now, go south for a new boss.

Boss: Little Queen x10 (All three styles)
You start the battle against three Little Queen. Each one has a different
battle style. You've already fought the melee and ring blade ones, and the
last one attacks with energy projectiles. Once she's below 50%HP, she will
also cast the spell Demonic Saber. Once again, her animation during her mystic
arte is slightly different.

After the battle, go southwest and take the warp.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fodra's Core

There's nothing to say about this place. Just move to the deepest part of the
area, while getting all the items in chests on the left and right (there's a
Richard narikiri doll and five hourglasses, among others). The only enemies
here are the golems you fought in the lower layer, and there will always be
two of them in battle: one in front of you and one behind you.

Just make your way to the final save point. (Skit #288)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The warp here is a shortcut to the dungeon entrance. Let's take it, so we can
take care of all the final skits of this chapter, which appeared when you
reached Lastalia Shaft: Depths.

- The save point in Lhant manor (Skit #289)
- In front of Barona's knight training school (Skit #290)
- On the east side of Wallbridge central ground (Skit #291)
- On the floor in Dale's manor in Gralesyde (Skit #292)
- Pick up the carta near the inn in Oul Raye (Skit #293)
- Go up the ladders in the research center in Sable Izolle (Skit #294)
- At the intersection of the administrative district in Yu Liberte (Skit #295)
- in front of the reception in Riot Peak (Skit #296)
- Behind the theatre stage in Velanik (Skit #297)
- At the inn save point in Zavhert (Skit #298)
- At Pascal's home. This will trigger a battle between Cheria and Pascal.
(Skit #299)

Boss: Pascal
Well, this will depend on how well you control Cheria. It's all right if you
lose, as you may try again as many times as needed. You will see different
skits depending on how the battle ends.
If you lose, you'll see Skit #300.
If you try again, you'll see Skit #301.
If you win, you'll see Skit #302. It's all right to win on the first try as
skits 300 and 301 will be recorded even if you didn't actually see them.

- In the left room of the basement in Telos Astue (Skit #303)
- In the Katz Korner in the back room. (Skit #304)
- Near the left door in the SPA (Skit #305)
- At the back of the Turtlez village (Skit #306)
- On the final warp in Ghardia Shaft (Skit #307)
- At the save furthest from the exit inside the Rockgagong. (Skit #308)

Once that's done, there's only one thing left to do.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fodra's Core

Boss: Fodra Queen
Trophy: Fodra Queen in 60 Seconds
This is certainly a difficult boss. Fodra Queen has two different battle
styles and will switch every time she loses 25%HP. In the first style, she's
surrounded by a flower that makes some artes and even mystic artes not work
properly because she will stay out of your character's range. It's best to
attack her with magic here.
In her second style, she will leave her flower and summon a huge sword. It's
time to attack with your melee characters this time.
Be aware that her weaknesses change when she switches her battle style, and
that her attacks get more dangerous and powerful when she's below 50%HP.

Otherwise, she has "two" mystic artes. The first one, Aquarius Sphere, will be
used in Eleth Break and will attack the whole field. It's much more powerful
than Little Queen's mystic arte, but it can't kill you.

Once she reaches 6%HP, she'll try to use Dual the Sol. This works exactly the
same way as Aquarius Sphere, except it's much more powerful, and she doesn't
need Eleth Break to use it. It still covers the whole field and can't kill you
though.

There's a very huge difference though, and it's the fact that she can use 6
insane extensions in a row after that mystic arte:
- As she uses Dual the Sol, hold the left stick of the controller to the left
and the burst button (should be O unless you're using an Asian PS3). The
mystic arte will extend into Aquarius Sphere.
- As she uses this special Aquarius Sphere, hold the arte button (should be X).
The mystic arte will extend into Prism Stars. Watch out because any extension
from Prism Stars onwards will kill you if mess up.
- As she uses Prism Stars, hold triangle. The mystic arte will extend into
Shining Gate.
- As she uses Shining Gate, hold square. The mystic arte will extend into Nova
Explosion.
- As she uses Nova Explosion, hold triangle and the burst button (should be O).
The mystic arte will extend into Maxwell Minimus.
- As she uses Maxwell Minimus, hold square, X and O. The mystic arte will
extend into Dimensional Material.
- Finally, as she uses Dimensional Material, hold square, triangle, X and O.
Your party will counter with Blue Earth, which should end the battle.

You'll get a huge boost of exp, SP and Gald at the end of the battle for using
Blue Earth.
It also fully heals your characters (completely useless since you clear the
game) but it doesn't revive them, so make sure they're alive to get the exp
boost.

Note that if the battle doesn't end after Dual the Sol, or for some reason if
she doesn't use it, she will summon two Little Queen (ring blade and shooter
types) with low HP.

Anyway, have fun defeating her in one minute too.

Once the battle is over, watch the ending and you'll get a new trophy. If you
have seen more than 95% skits, you'll also get a title for Sophie.

Trophy: Lineage & Legacies

You will also be asked if you want to save. Be careful though: if you save,
you'll be taken back to the main game, and not to the future arc. If you still
want to do things with the future arc, make sure you save on a different file.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV.14 Extra
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Load your cleared game save now. If you've cleared the future arc, then
everything you got from there will be carried over too.

Watch a skit near the last save point in Ghardia Shaft first to start the next
event. (Skit #368)

Now go to the manor in Lhant. A battle will trigger as you get in the garden.
You can now use the Shuttle to reach the secret dungeon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zhonecage

Basically, this dungeon works like this:
- You put an item at bet to enter a floor.
- The higher the floor, the higher the value required for the bet (floor 10
requires an item that costs at least 204800 Gald)
- The floors are created randomly (more or less)
- If you clear the floor, you get your item back
- If you lose, you don't get a game over, but you lose your item
- You'll be sent to the first floor automatically as you enter the dungeon for
the first time
- You need to clear subevent #64 and floors 1 to 9 to enter floor 10
- You can do the other floors in any order you want

Now about the mechanisms in a floor:
When you enter a floor, you'll see a percentage on the top right corner of
your screen. It starts at 125% and increases with time. This is the stat boost
the enemies receive in the floor. The maximum is 200% and the minimum is 100%.
To decrease the percentage, you can fight (-10%) or activate yellow potions
you'll find in the floor (-25%).

The yellow potions drop the power of the enemies, but you'll also find blue
potions. Those will either summon a treasure chest, a merchant, or a monster.
When activated, you can't escape the effect of a blue potion (meaning the
chest will open by itself, the shop menu will show up, or you'll be forced
into battle).

There's a treasure chest in one of the corners of every single room, entrance
and exit included. Much easier than the Wii version. The items you find on
each floor are usually related to one of your character or pieces of
equipments as well as the difficulty. If the probabilities are the same as the
Wii version, the best difficulty for ultimate equipments is hard or evil,
although it's only by 1%. Don't play on easy difficulty though or you won't
find anything interesting.

Each floor has two layers. In the first layer, you have to find the warp to
the second layer, and in the second layer you have to find and defeat the boss
of the floor. Stupidly enough, going all the way to the southeast, then all
the way to the northeast will always take you to the warp/boss.

Most floors have important items I'd advise you to find. Since it's completely
random, you may need to go through the floors several times. For the best
accessories and the spheres for the best weapons, the highest probability
(although it's not by much) is on hard or evil difficulty.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First floor

Cheria's floor. You'll be thrown into this floor by betting an apple gel from
hammerspace. You can find the Tesserasphere, for Cheria's ultimate weapon.

Boss: Frederic
Cheria's grandfather isn't too difficult. It's fun to see him use some well-
known artes, but watch out for his mystic arte. It's about five times more
powerful than Richard's mystic arte in the final boss battle.

After you clear the floor, you'll get Cheria's Jet Black Antennae accessory.
Equip it for a skit. (Skit #320)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Second floor

Hubert's floor. You can find the Triasphere, for Hubert's ultimate weapon.

Boss: Cedric 2.0
This is exactly the same Cedric you fought much earlier in the game, only with
better stats.

After you clear the floor, you'll get Hubert Nerdy Glasses. Equip them for a
skit. (Skit #319)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Third floor

You can find many crystals for weapons and armors dualizing here, so try to
gather a lot of those if you need them for requests or subevents.

Boss: Amber
Ah, Tales of Hearts. Amber can attack with very long combos and can cast the
fire spell Flare Bomb. Her Mystic Arte is Tales of Hearts' strongest light
spell Starlight.
Her carta can be acquired if you defeat her (25%).

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fourth floor

You'll find lots of robes here. You can try to find the material Purebright
Cloth for the best robe of the game, although you can find it in some other
places.

Boss: Dark Turtlez
This boss hits hard and it can be hard to approach it. Its mystic arte targets
only one character but it does insane damage. You can get a nova barrier if
you defeat it, but the drop is ridiculously low (5%). Still, it's the only
enemy who drops it so you'll probably have to defeat it several times if you
want to complete your item book.

After you defeat this boss, go the Turtlez HQ and you'll get a Turtlez flute.
You can now call a merchant wherever you want. However, it will cost you ten
times the usual price to fill your eleth mixer this way. (Subevent #24
cleared)

If you didn't get it yet, you can also get Aston's sword for free.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fifth floor

Asbel's floor. You can find the Enasphere, for Asbel's ultimate weapon.

Boss: Emeraude 2.0
She's the same as the one from Lambda's Cocoon, except her stats are different
and she lost her heterochromia.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sixth floor

You'll find lots of clothing here. You can try to find the material Dragon's
Blood for the best clothing of the game, although you can find it in some
other places.

Boss: Peepit? (x25)
Well, that's a lot of them. Every single one of those birds can use their
mystic arte in Eleth Break. Ironically enough, they'll die after using it. If
you can kill all the enemies on the field with Cheria's Innocent Garden, the
battle will end, no matter how many of those birds were left.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seventh floor

Malik's floor. You can find the Pentasphere, for Malik's ultimate weapon.

Boss: GentleEal
Well, I don't have much to say about that boss. It's a pain when it swims
across the battlefield, so better use spells to calm him down. You should have
noticed it's the one who homeruns the boss of the previous floor during its
mystic arte.

After you clear the floor, you'll get the Eau de Peau for Malik. Equip it for
a skit. (Skit #321)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eighth floor

Pascal's floor. You can find the Eksisphere, for Pascal's ultimate weapon. You
can also find Pascal's Fluffi Muffler, and equipping it will trigger a skit.
(Skit #322)

Boss: Fourier, Proto Veres
Proto Veres is the same as the one you fought in Fendel Research Laboratory,
except it's stronger and can't call for backup (what's with prototypes always
being stronger in this series?).
Fourier can use every arte her sister can use, except for her level one and
Flux Form. Her mystic arte is Pascal's second mystic arte. Sadly enough, she
can't use any burst.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ninth floor

Sophie's floor. You can find the Diosphere, for Sophie's ultimate weapon. You
can also find Sophie's Grimm Anklet, and equipping it will trigger a skit.
(Skit #318)

Boss: Reala
From Tales of Destiny 2. She has a long combo too, just like Amber, and can
use Photon Blaze, Air Pressure and Burn Strike. Her Mystic Arte is Tales of
Destiny 2's strongest earth spell, Grand Cataclysm. Don't try to fight her if
your weapon has a Kyle quality... She isn't too difficult otherwise, but she's
really resistant and it'll take quite some time to defeat her.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tenth floor

Before you enter this floor, make sure you got the "Lambda Angelus in 60
Seconds" trophy. If you defeat this floor's boss, Lambda Angelus will get
powered up into Lambda Theos, and this trophy won't be available anymore.

Don't forget you need to clear the other nine floors and event 64 to enter
this floor.

You'll find lots of plates here. You can try to find the material Darkened Ore
for the best plate of the game, although you can find it in some other places.

Boss: Solomus
That boss is just awesome. He'll attack very quickly with strong melee attacks,
and can even warp above you to attack you. When his HP drop at 75%, 50% and
25%, he'll cast Holy Lance, Indignation and Shooting Stars, and all three
spells are very powerful. Holy Lance and Shooting Stars also require perfect
timing to avoid them.
At two points in the battle, he'll try to create three clones of himself.
Those three clones are as powerful as he is, with the exact same set of
attacks (except they can't use mystic artes or clone themselves, of course).
They have fewer HP however, but they stay on the field for a long time so it's
best to get rid of them. Watch out however, because they can cast Holy Lance,
Indignation and Shooting Stars too.
His mystic arte in Eleth Break is very powerful, but he has worse: if you try
to use an item when his HP are below 5%, he'll counter with the mystic arte
Shining Gate, which most likely will wipe out your whole party.

You'll clear an event and get a trophy for defeating Solomus. (Subevent #70
cleared)
Trophy: Terma-nated

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now let's finish the last subevents.

Riot Peak

If you haven't done it yet, clear the arena normal rank. At the top, you'll
fight a boss.

Boss: Veigue
Tales of Rebirth's main character. He can use a lot of his usual artes, and
the mystic arte Celsius Calibur. It's four on one here, so you should be fine.
However, after you defeat him, each time you'll clear the arena normal rank
again, you'll fight him alone.

Defeat him to see a skit. (Skit #361)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now that you've cleared the normal rank and met Reala and Amber in the secret
dungeon, you can take care of their requests. You should have their items
already, but if you forgot what those were:
- Veigue's Requiem is obtained by clearing subevent #63.
- Reala's Hero Staff is found in the Sandshroud Ruins.
- Amber's Lost Anklet is your reward from the old man in Zavhert Port for
getting 40 cartas.

Once you're done with those requests, try the arena master rank. It's exactly
the same as the normal rank, except you have to switch characters for each
battle. At the top, you'll fight the three cameos.

Boss: Veigue, Amber, Reala
Their stats are a bit lower, and Veigue has fewer artes, but since there's
three of them, it'll be a bit harder to defeat them. Enjoy your cameo battle!
Once again, if you defeat them, then clear the arena master rank attack,
you'll have to fight the three of them... alone.

Clear the battle, the event (Subevent #59 cleared), and you'll get a skit
(Skit #365) and a trophy.
Trophy: Who Were Those Guys, Again?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now this is probably the most annoying thing of the game, but you have to
clear all the inn requests. Make sure you save before you complete the last
request, because you'll be sent against a boss.

Boss: Gentleman
At this point of the game, this boss should be a joke. He seems stronger than
in the Wii version, but he won't last long.

Defeat him for a trophy.
Trophy: A Gentlemanly Triumph

Your reward will be a material to create one of the best armors in the game.
(Subevent #55 cleared)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, let's take care of the Rockgagong.

Boss: Rockgagong
This battle is quite different than the others. The Rockgagong is so huge it
will stay at one side of the field and you have to attack its head to damage
it.
You have a time limit (20 minutes) to defeat him, and you can't use your
mystic artes. You don't have the Eleth meters either. The combo counter is
different too. It will reset every time the Rockgagong attacks; and you'll
notice he doesn't attack much, but he hits very hard. His two most dangerous
attacks have him raise or move back his head: If he raises his head, he'll try
to devour your characters. If you get devoured, you obviously can't fight and
can't be resurrected. Strangely enough, you can just guard against this attack.
If he moves his head back, he'll attack with a very powerful shockwave that
will cover most of the battlefield. If you see him prepare this attack,
quickly run to the left or right side of the field.
At 50% and 25%HP, he'll fall on the ground for a few seconds.

Defeat him for a trophy.
Trophy: Gagonged!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now all that's left is defeating Lambda Theos. Go fight the final boss again.

Boss: Lambda Theos
He's the same as Lambda Angelus, only with much better stats. The only real
difference is that he'll spam Holy Lance, Indignation and Shooting Stars if he
goes into his nova barrier.

Defeat him for a trophy.
Trophy: One with Oblivion

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
V. Cartas
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cartas are cards with a Tales character's picture on it. You'll find a lot of
them (there's a total of 90 cartas) and you'll have to collect them for two
reasons.
First, you'll get rewards from an old man in Zavhert Port if you have lots of
cartas.
Next, having enough cartas will allow you to play a carta mini-game in Sable
Izolle for various rewards.
