Question from Yang_Shu
What I mean by perfect I mean, is it possible to beat the game without dying once? Has anyone tried it?
Btw, is there anyway to avoid dying the first time you face Seath?
Thanks for the answers so far. I understand that Seath can't be avoided, which is fine since all I need is to equip the ring of sacrifice.
Let me add this then, have any anyone of you been able to beat the bed of chaos without having fallen of being killed by him?
This question is open with pending answers, but none have been accepted yet
If it is your first playtrough then i dont think anyone can beat it without dying, this game is so hard specially when your character is low level. but i think its possible in second playtrough when you already know what to expect, although still it will not be easy. And about seath, im not really sure if you can go directly to crystal caves but i think its the only way to beat him without dying.
You can't avoid dying in seath's first encounter, it's necesary in order to proceed; otherwise the bookshelves that split the duke's archives in half will remain closed (so, there can't be a completely perfect playthrough, but this event is obligatory and as such shouldn't be counted to dying statistics)). I suppose it is possible to beat the game without dying, i would recomend a good shield, kindling al possible bonfires, healing spells, iron flesh, moving as fast as possible, avoid all avoidable encounters (always run first and ring of fog if possible, no great hollow, no ash lake, no depths, no gwyndolin, no online, way of white covenant if online, chaos servant level 2 for lost izalith), and most of all: be extra careful and try to sprint as little as posible (this will prevent unexpected fall deaths for rushing and save some stamina on the way)
The bed of chaos is difficult to kill flawlessly, but I saw one guy do it when I was summoned once. The other summoned player died though... SACRIFICES MUST BE MADE!!!
it's possible though very hard, the last time I killed him on NG, I went through to killing all but the final part of him without getting killed, got partially swiped on my jump to the middle.
No it is not possible as it has been said previously you have to die in order to progress pass seaths first encounter room. The way to get through with out much hassle is to equip a ring of sacrifice/ rare ring of sacrifice so when you get killed and appear in the cell you still have the souls and humanity you have amassed.
This comment may be late but it is possible to skip the first death by seath that's seen as mandatory there is a shortcut in the dukes archives were you go up the elevator to seath but instead of going to seath you send it back down and quickly get off it and roll back onto it but in the side balcony and as its going down you roll of this onto the upper area af the dukes archives that you shouldn't be able to reach.www.youtube.com/watch?v=5459Lyc7DmE this should help if you want to try it
