Readiness rating?

Just in case anyone knows what is the point to readiness rating when everytime you reach the final battle nothing changes whether 50% or 100%?

The readiness rating is a multiplayer component. You require to play online multiplayer, which isn't as bad as some might say. It takes approx. 5 hours of online play to reach a full 100% readiness, 1 game takes about ~20 minutes on the bronze difficulty.

Also, as a extra context item: You require 5000+ Military Asset Score for the best ending.
