The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Question from Shadow_Slayer90
Asked: 1 year agoI told my companion (Lydia) to wait just outside of the palace of kings in windhelm. When I came back a few hours later. She was gone. Now I can't seem to find her anywhere. I looked in my house in white run. As well as the palace there. She's not in either place. Will she show back up? Or is she gone forever?

So update. She's in my house. Or at least her voice is. She'll talk to me when I'm there. But her physical body can't be found.

statusThat happened to me before too. Chances are she probably went back to where you found her in the first place. Or she will magically pop up behind you when you enter a dungeon or something. Happened to me once and it scared the poop out of me lol
Whenever you tell a companion to wait or they just magically disapear, just go to your home and wait (dont rest) for twenty four hours, they should pop up in the house. If they dont then try it two more times.. most ive ever had to do... but if they dont show up chances are you killed them by accident or they glitched. (also never use storm call with companions, learned that the hard way)
