If you like this guide and you think other people will enjoy using it, you can recommend it so that others will see that it is a good guide.
You can click the recommend HERE at the top of this walkthrough via GameFAQ's.
.
Introduction
Firstly, thanks for reading my guide. I am writing this guide without having played the previous game all the way through, so it is going to be from the perspective of a new player. Please keep this in mind if you are using this guide and have already played the first game.
That being said, I suggest you read through the gameplay section before you head into the game. If you played the first game, you already have a leg up on new players. There may still be some new things you haven't seen before.
Recent events have made me appreciate everyone who reads and uses my guides and the support you have given me is much appreciated. Because of this, and suggestions recieved by email, I have added a section where you guys can continue to support me through donations.
Firstly, thanks to everyone who takes the time to read this. If you find yourself using my guide and found it to be handy, please consider sending a donation to support the time and effort I have put forth to make a comprehensive and useful guide. As an Game Art and Design art student at a private school, I have limited time and money, but to me supporting the online gaming community if worth my time. I will continue to write guides for games I enjoy (particularlly those niche JRPG's).
If you DO wish to donate, the optimal way is to send a gift through Paypal to krystalnexus(at)yahoo(dot)com. Another option, is to send an amazon gift card to the above email, that I can use for private needs or to purchase future games to write guides for.
Thanks again for your time. I in no way want you to feel obligated to donate, your support via emails is always appreciated though.
.
Gameplay
Most of the following information can be found in the game or it's manual, but I will try and go into a little more depth than their simple explainations.
.
Controls
| Standard and Town Controls | Dungeon Controls | Battle Controls | |
|---|---|---|---|
| L | Cursor Control | Move character | - |
| R | - | Camera Movement | - |
| D-Pad | Cursor Control | Up - Camera Zoom In, Down - Camera Zoom Out | - |
| X | Decide, Text Advancement | Examine, Interact, Attack | - |
| O | Previous Screen, Cancel | Treasure Search | Standby |
| Triangle | Main Menu | - | Skill Menu |
| Square | - | Symbol Attack | Hard Drive Divinity |
| R2 | - | - | Switch Battle Menus |
| Start | - | Show/Hide Dungeon Map | - |
.
Enemy HP/GP & Guard Break
- In the top left corner of the battle screen will be listed all enemies HP (Hit Points) and GP (Guard Points). When an enemy's GP reaches 0, you will Guard Break them. In this state, you will do more damage to an enemy. Guard Break lasts a certain amount of time, depending on the enemy, but it is considerably longer than in Hyperdimension Neptunia.
.
Turn Order
- In the top right corner of the battle screen is the turn gauge. This gauge shows the turn order of your characters and the enemies in battle. You can use this to take advantage of knowing who will act next. For example, if you need to heal an ally you can determine if you need to do it asap, because a monster is going to attack next, or if your healer is going to get a turn first. You can also use this to know when enemies are going to attack and if you can kill them before they get their turn.
.
Symbol Attack
- While walking on the dungeon maps, you have the opportunity to strike an enemy before in makes contact with your character. Doing so will give not only start your characters at the front of the turn order, but they will also get bonus AP.
.
Front and Back Rows
- There are no longer front and back rows in the battle, but there are 8 battle slots. The front 4 slots are the default battle party that will start in battle. The back 4 slots are your alternate team. During battle you will be able to switch between your front and back row characters freely. Note that your front row characters are the only ones that gain the pre-emptive bonus AP. Your back row characters can still store the 100 SP for later, even if they are not in the front row.
.
Commands & Combos
You start with some basic Combos already equipped. As you level up and learn more skills, you can start to customize these combos even more.
Here's a basic layout of what a basic combo looks like:
| 1st | Attack or Slash | AP 12 |
.
Triangle - Rushes
| 2nd | Rush | AP 16 |
| 3rd | Rush | AP 16 |
| 4th | Rapid Hit | AP 27 |
.
Heavy Hits
| 2nd | Power Hit | AP 15 |
| 3rd | Power Hit | AP 15 |
| 4th | Mighty Blum | AP 25 |
.
Breakers
| 2nd | Break Hit | AP 18 |
| 3rd | Break Hit | AP 18 |
| 4th | Break Hit | AP 18 |
.
You can change these combos to anything you want between battles. If you use enough AP in a combo, an EX Finish will automatically be activated.
.
Skills
You can now use skills at any time during battle as long as you have the required SP and AP to use the skill. This means you will need to attack the enemy with your AP to gain SP. Note that 100 SP can be carried over from one battle to the next, but vanishes when you leave an area. This means you can fight minor enemies and the jump into a boss battle with 100 SP stocked up and ready to use skills on your characters first turns.
.
EX Finish
EX Finishs are the Bonus Attack of a combo that may occur when you use enough AP in a chain. You can view these in your Command Menu, with greyed out ones meaning you do not have enough AP useable to perform the attack. The more EX Finishs you are able to perform, the more options you have in battle.
.
Fleeing
- Unlike the previous game, which required and item to escape battle, you can now run from a battle freely with one condition; you must be on the edge of the battlefield in order to select Escape from the battle menu.
.
Hard Drive Divinity
- HDD can now be activated at almost anytime, as long as you have the SP. Less powerful than previously, the changing of processor units will still let you drastically change the CPU and CPU Candidates stats against certain enemies (including certain elemental resistances). While in HDD the character will eat up the SP and when it reaches 0 they will automatically change back to normal form.
.
Status Menu
This is where you can view your characters Stats.
| HP | Your characters Hit Points. If it reaches zero, the character will be incapacitated. |
| AP | Your characters Action Points. The more a character has, the more actions they can take in battle. |
| SP | Your characters Skill Points. These are gained through combat and are used when Skills are performed or transforming int HDD. |
| Next EXP | The EXP required for your next level up. |
| Title | The characters title. |
| Title Info | The special traits linked to that title. |
.
| STR | Influences physical attacks. |
| VIT | Influences defense against physical attacks. |
| INT | Influences magic skills. |
| MEN | Influences defense against magic skills. |
| AGI | Influences turn order and the probablity of escape. |
| TEC | Influences the probability of a successful hit. |
| AVD | Influences the probability of evading attacks. |
| LUK | Influences the probability of critical hits. |
| MOV | Influences how far a character can move in battle. |
.
Equipment Menu
This is where you can change your character's equipment.
The top left window contains your current equipment:
| Weapon | Influences attack. |
| Armor | Influences defense. |
| Ornaments | Influences HP, AP, and other stats. |
| Costume | Changes the characters costume. |
| Accessory | Changes the characters appearance. |
| Processor Unit | CPU and CPU Candidates only. Influences the stats and appearance of the HDD form. |
Note that for Nepgear you can customize her Processor Core Unit textures to change their appearance by uploading your own images to the PS3 Photo Gallery.
There is a thread to download some here: http://nisamerica.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=6154
The bottom left window contains all the available equipment for the currect category.
The top middle window contains all the information on how your stats are influences by equipment. Blue = positive, Red = Negative.
.
Skills Menu
The major difference between the first game and this one, is that Skills are not put into combos. Skills are now used outside of combos as if they were Magic in an old school Final Fantasy game.
| Category | The type of Skill. |
| Element | The Skills element. |
| Type | The Skills attack type (Physical, Magic, Healing, Magical Combo, etc. |
| Range | The Skills range. |
| Hits | The number of consecutive hits the skills performs. |
| Power | The general power of the Skill. |
| Breaking Power | The damage dealt to the enemy's Guard Gauge. |
| Ailment Dealt | Displays the ailment, if any, that the Skill inflicts. |
.
Partners
Unlike normal back and front rows in most RPG's, partners in the Back Rows will not appear in battle unless you switch them in. This means that in the beginning of the game you will probably not want to create Partners, since you will have only 2 characters active in battle.
There are a few things to note in this menu:
| Standby Members | Until you get more than 8 playable characters, this will not matter. Once you do, you can assign Standby Members. |
| Support Effect | The support effect is the bonus that your front row character will recieve if that character is placed in the back row. |
.
Be aware that some partnerships will automatically activate Coupling Skills.
.
Lily Rank
There are a total of 5 levels to Lily Rank: Hate, So-So, OK, Like, and Love.
Lily Rank can be increased by winning battles with certain characters active, as well as simply being in the battle (whether it is Front or Back rows). As you increase the Lily Ranks, they will be able to participate in Item Development.
.
World Map & Shares
The world map is how you access all of Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2. The main information of note on the world map is the World and Local Shares, represented by the graphs and percentages. There are five major powers in the world of HD Mk2: Planeptune, Lastation, Lowee, Leanbox, and Arfoire. In order to get certain endings, you will need to manipulate these shares in order to get them.
.
Town Maps
There are four locations on the town map that you can visit at any time, as long as there is no event there.
- The shops are where you Buy and Sell items. These update after almost every event, so make sure you check them often.
.
Item Synth
- Item Synth is the area where you can do Item Development. In order to make an item you need a few things: a Product Proposal, certain ingredients, and sometimes you will need a partner and a certain Lily Rank. Characters with low Lily Rank can not take part in the participate in item development. Note that some items will appear in the shops once you make them through item development.
.
Guild
- Where you can sign up for and report your Quests. Quests are the way in which you increase a towns shares and each town has their own quests, so check often and accept quests for areas you are going to be visiting.
.
Chirper
- This is where you get info and sometimes events with a towns residents through their Gamipics. You can also talk to your party members for events that can increase their affection or give you recipes for item development.
.
Gathering Points
- Marked with a ?, these can be checked by pressing X to gain random items for quests and item development.
.
Hidden Items
- Every map has one hidden item that can be found by running around pressing O to perform Treasure Search. Note that maps with multiple areas, have one item per area.
.
Save Points
- Marked with a S, these are the only place in a dungeon where you can save your game. Saving can be done in a town or the world map at any time.
.
Endings
Compared to my Atelier Rorona and Totori guides, these endings are easily met. In general, you won't need to worry about these until chapter 5.
There is a priority order, meaning if you meet a certain qualitifcation for a higher ending you will NOT get the other one.
- True Ending
- Normal Ending - this can be gotten in conjuction with all the lower endings
- Planeptune Ending
- Lastation Ending
- Lowee Ending
- Lastation Ending
- Human Ending
- Conquest Ending
.
Human Ending
- Get Compa, IF, Gust, NISA, and 5PB to Lily Rank 5
- Must not meet the conditions for any of the nation endings (either don't recruit the CPU's and keep Planeptunes shares under 70% or just drop all below 70%)
.
True Ending
- Get Planeptune, Lastation, Leanbox, and Lowee's Global Shares to 15%+
- Everyone to Lily Rank 4 or 5
- Recruit all the CPU's
.
Conquest Ending
- Recruit all the CPU's
- Watch all 3 Cursed Sword rumor events at Lastation, Leanbox, and Lowee BEFORE Chapter 5 start
- Get Planeptune's Global Shares to at least 55% BEFORE CFW Magic (2) fight

I have not confirmed all of these yet, but you can view the details here: http://nisamerica.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=8618

Walkthrough
20XX- Gamindustri faces a dire crisis. Ever since the advent of ASIC -the Arfoire Syndicate of International Crime- morality has all but vanished. As much as 80 percent of all students are rumored to worship the being known as Arfoire. Parents, knowing this a poor object to worship, went ahead and taught their children to do so. The government turned a blind eye instead of crushing this crisis in its infancy. Thus, Gamindustri fell unto complete and utter disarray.
Source: Game Manual
Okay everyone, let me set some ground rules down so that you can save yourself a lot of agony later. Do NOT worry too much about the town's shares. You can increase this quickly by grinding quests later, so there is no need to worry about it that much. This game is pretty straight forward and you can always go back an view any events you miss. That being said, MAKE A NEW SAVE AT THE BEGINNING OF CHAPTER 5. Why? This is where the game really branches out to what endings you are going to get. Don't worry, I will remind you. Take your time and enjoy the game at least once without using a guide. This will let you understand more on your New Game +.
You can actually mess up shares by getting too many of a different nation with no way to get it back. For this reason, I suggest you do NOT do any quests that take away one nations shares and gives it to another. Stick to the Arfoire shares and do NOT do any quests for a nation once they reach 50% of their local shares.
.
Enjoy the opening sequence and music, LOL at the 8-bit characters.
Firstly, this game is totally glitchy in real-time cutscenes, as the camera and character animations are not always smooth. The worst part is the bad lip syncing when the characters talk, but this is all my personal preferences. That being said, these are nothing NEW to the series and the 2D drawings are beautiful.
.
After all the intro sequences, and three free trophies, you will get a tutorial battle with CFW Judge.
Your choice is limited at the moment, so select Celestiral Severance and move forward until he is red, marking that he's in range.
.
Planeptune
| Key Items | Items |

| [_] Energy Fragment x3 | |
| [_] 1,000 Credits |
.
After all the scenes, we will be get a bunch of stuff and be tasked with finding all the mascots and CPU Candidates.
Just so you know now, killing an enemy and running from the battles counts to the kill count. On the other hand, the Symbol Attack that autokills enemies on the map when you are too strong does NOT count. In fact, it's useless later.
Head to the Chirper and talk to IF for a scene about working for the Planeptune Guild. Now talk to Compa for a scene about how you're feeling. These sort of events will increase your characters affection and sometimes give you rare items. They are often triggered by the towns Local Shares or the progression of the story, so check often.
When you are ready, leave town for the World Map tutorial. Make sure to check out the Main Menu and set some Commands & Combos, as the game suggests if you want.

| [_] Energy Fragment x2 | Horsebird Leader | Horsebird Wing | |
| Energy Fragment |

Virtua Forest Map
Note that all maps have certain gathering point items, but those points also have a chance to give any items that the monsters in the area drop.
As you run through this map, and any future ones, use O to perform Treasure Search for the hidden item. As you progress, you will be forced into a fight with Dogoo (Boss) and get the Battle Basics tutorial. After the easy fight, you will be forced into another fight with Grandogoo (Boss) and learn about Enemy HP/GP & Guard Break, Partners, and Lily Rank.
After the events, you will be back on the World Map. I suggest going back to Virtua Forest to get all the treasures.
Note that heading to the World Map heals your characters to full, so use this to your advantage.
.
Planeptune
After learning more about Quests, you can now accept quests freely.
Don't feel obligated to do every quest, especially ones that give another nation shares in the home nation. You will have plenty of time to do these later, around Chapter 5 when shares will start to effect the events and endings of the game.
.
Virtua Forest
When you enter, you will learn about Fleeing, Symbol Attacks and Treasure Search. Go ahead and clear out the map to complete the quests and return to Planeptune.
.
Planeptune
| Key Items |

.
Head to the Guild and turn in your quests. Afterwards, you will learn about Item Development and Product Proposals.
See Key Items for Product Proposal recipes.
If you already have the items for the Nep Bull, make it and turn the quest in. If not, go to Virtua Forest and get them. After you complete the quest you will get another scene. You now have access to more quests.
.

Virtua Forest Depths Map
As soon as you enter, you will be forced into a fight with Viral Tulip x3 and learn about Viral Monsters and EX Finish.
Take the right branch first and head as far north as possible, make sure to avoid the big blue beast who can kill you in one attack. Grab the nearby treasure and then head back the way you came and take the left branch around to the event crystal and learn about Hard Drive Divinity.
At the event crystal, you will run into Underling for a fight.
You fight this battle alone as a CPU. This girl hits hard, so you will need to use almost every other turn. When you finally gain enough SP to use Mirage Dance, use it to destroy her. You may kill her normally before this happens.
You now learn more about Processor Units and Core Processor Retexturing.
.
Planeptune
Back at Planeptune you will get a scene with Histoire about the events and decide to head to Lastation.
.
Chapter 2: The Crossroads of Defeat
Instead of heading straight to Lastation, I suggest you turn around and go right back to Planeptune.
.
Planeptune
Turn in any quests you completed and there should be some new ones. While you're here, make sure to talk to Compa about being a Nurse Intern and IF about having Histoire as a boss. Now you can head to Darkness 60.
.

Lastation
After the scenes, Uni will temporarily join the party. You can now have a full party of 4 on screen, or start using the Partners and keep only 3. Wither way, head to the Guild and pick up the new quests before going anywhere else.
Note that if you take the time to get Lastation's Local Shares to 55% or above, you can talk to Slayer in the Chiper for the first of three Cursed Sword rumors. You will need to see all 3 of these, one per town, in order to get the Conquest Ending. Each town's rumor triggers at 55%.
Once you are ready, head to Rebeat Resort.
.

Rebeat Resort Map
Take the left branch first to clear it of treasure and then take the right branch. Continue on to trigger the event and even more Underling (2).
With Uni, Skills, and EX Finishes, this fight should go by really quickly. Heal if you need to and you will take her down eventually.
.
Lastation
Make sure to re-enter Lastation once it kicks you and get the scene with Jinguji Kei. Once all the scenes are over, head to the Endless Zone.
Note that new quests are now available.
.
Endless Zone

When you're ready, head to the event crystal.
.
Virtua Forest Depths
| Key Items |

| [_] Treasure Gem |
.
You already know your way around here, so head north to the event crystal and a fight with Ancient Dragon and then another with M-3 Custom x3.
The fight with the Ancient Dragon is pretty easy if you keep the girls apart and have SP stored up with Compa so she can heal right from the start. Take the enemy out with combos or skill.
For the second fight, you won't be able to use HDD, but you will have Nisa on your side.
.
Lastation
Back at Lastation, you will get a new quest that you must complete to learn the location of Hematite. There are also new quests available as well for the new areas.
Before we go to Rebeat Resort, let's take a side trip to Midcompany.
.
Midcompany

| [_] Brisk Qatar | ||||
| [_] Technique Patch |

Midcompany Map
.
Rebeat Resort
Head counter-clockwise around the area to get to the event crystal and fight the Sea Hunter.
The Sea Hunter doesn't attack multiple targets, but it does hit hard. I suggest you spread out and keep Compa in the middle and a little back so she is in range to heal everyone or take part in combat if she needs SP.
After the hilarious Nurse Compa scene, head back to Lastation.
.
Lastation
After learning the location of the Hematite, you will have access to more new quests. You can take some time to do these quests, or head straight to Septent Resort.
.
Septent Resort
| Key Items | Items | Enemies | Common Gather | Rare Gather |

| [_] Magic Disc x2 | ||||
| [_] Anti-Venom | ||||
| [_] Toxin-free Patch | ||||
| [_] Reflex x2 | ||||
| [_] Eject Button |

Septent Resort Map
Like Midcompany, this map is similar to another map with some add-ons. I guess the devs wanted to reuse a lot of stuff to save time and money.
Take the left branch clockwise around the area, grabbing the treasure. When you reach the save point, make sure to save. You can try and defeat the nearby Dolphin if you want or head to the event crystal when ready to take on the Tae Kwon Cat x3 and then Uni.
Neither fight should pose a threat. You most likely won't need to even HDD against Uni. Just hit her with attacks and Heal if needed.
.
Septent Resort
| Key Items |
|---|
| [_] Black Disc |
.
Head counter-clockwise around the area until you see the event crystal. Head north and watch the funny scene. Poor guy, he is hopeless. The fight will be with both Pirachu and Fenrir.
Take out Fenrir as fast as you can with skills before focusing on Pirachu. The reason for this is that Fenrir can attack multiple targets that stand close together, while Pirachu focuses attacks on one ally.
.
Lowee
Enjoy the scenes in Lowee and get introduced to some new characters Ram & Rom. There isn't much to do in Lowee yet, so check the new quests and then head to Lowee Global Expo East.

Lowee Global Expo East/West Map
This is the first place that has multiple zones. After clearing the first area, head to the next zone in the west.
When you are ready, head to the event crystal for another Underling (3) fight and then Rom and Ram.
This girl is pretty weak with four people on your team. On the other hand, if you have them in smaller teams you may be in trouble. Underling should fall in a couple rounds of skills either way.
Ram is the stronger of the two, so you should focus on her first. Build up SP so you can use a chain of skills in a row, otherwise she may heal to almost full health before you can defeat her. Once Ram is out of the way, finish off Rom.
.
Lowee
Watch the events and meet Mina Nishizawa. Once you are done, head back into Lowee for a scene. And again.... and again. On your fifth visit you will get a long scene that will finally give you access to a new dungeon and allow you to visit the areas inside Lowee to turn in quests and accept new ones.
I suggest you head back to Lowee Global Expo East to complete quests and get Lowee's shares up to 55% to see the Cursed Sword rumor by talking to Artfoire Mama.
.
Lowee Global Expo East
There is the area past the event crystal that you haven't uncovered, but there is only enemies there. When you are done with getting Lowee shares up, head to the World Maze, 1st Layer.

World Maze 1st/2nd Layer Map
Clear out the east side of the first map before heading to the northwest and to the next zone.
The marker in the northeast is actually an exit to the dungeon. Avoid it, and when you're ready, save and head to the event crystal to fight the Icy Hedgebug x3 and Killachine.
Killachine gets a ton of attacks per turn, so make sure you keep people at a high health. He also can hit multiples at a time, which with his multiple attacks can be deadly. Keep the girls apart and surround him so they have enough distance apart for only one to get hit. From there, it's just a matter of using your skills.
After all the scenes, you will be forced out.

| [_] Rare Metal |
.
Head to the same place you got the event crystal before for a fight with a Metal Shell.
This guy has high physical defense. The best skills against him are IF's LeDelphinus and Nepgear's Mirage Dance. Luckily, he is more of a tank and does little harm. After a while he will fall to skills. When you beat him you will get the Rare Metal.
You will have to walk out after this fight.

.
When you enter, head east to the event crystal and a fight with the Dr. Kawashina.
This guys skills are what do the most damage and he resists Skill Seal from IF. Your best bet is to take him out fast and don't let the girls get to close, since his skills are aoe, even though his normal attacks aren't.
When you beat him you will get the Datanim.
Head back to Lowee now.

Watch the scenes and hand over the items you gathered for Gust. Afterwards, she will join your party. Gust will not automatically take a 5th space in your party, you will have to partner her with someone (if you had all 4 members in the front row). You can now talk to Gust in the Chirper for a scene and get the (PP) Gust's Panacea. While we're at it, head back to Lastation for and talk to Nisa as well to get the (PP) Hero Drink.
Gust doesn't come with default commands, so you will need to go into the menu and set some for her attack combos. From now on, anyone who joins will also need to have their commands set.

Awww, it's the cute Pirachu. After all the scenes you will be kicked out of Lastation, enter and watch more scenes. It looks like Miss Underling is up to no good. If you haven't already, you will now need to complete the three quests in Lowee that give the Anchor, Sail, and Figurehead. Once you have these, you can return to Lastation and ride to Leanbox.

If you decide to go back to the spot where the event crystal was, you can grab some treasure and fight the difficult Elemental Dragon.
.
Leanbox
After the scene you will be on the world map, head back into Leanbox again. You will need to do this a few times until all events are done and you can run around the town. There are now new quests available.
You can take some time to fulfill the new quests and get the Cursed Sword rumor from the Mid-Level Explorer or head straight for the Underverse (is this Chronicles of Riddick now?).

As soon as you enter the event crystal will be right in front of you. After the hilarious scene, head forward all the way north and grab the treasures before heading back and to the right. You should take the south path first, grabbing the gathering points and treasures, before heading to the next zone.
Clear out the area and when you're ready, head to the event crystal.

After the scenes, you will need to head back to the Underverse, but first check out the new quests.

Atari Marsh/Depths Map
Clear out the left and right paths before heading north to the save point. Make sure to save before trying to take on the Plaid Dolphin or heading to the next area.
Clear out the right path and then take the left one to the save and the event crystal where you will face Ram (2) and Rom (2) again, followed by CFW Trick.
The girls are much stronger than your last encounter with them. The best thing to do is wait a turn and let them gather into a group so you can surround them and use AOE Skills like IF's LeDolphinus, Nepgear's Slash Wave, and Gust's Volkslied. Keep everyone alive and healed and the two girls should die quickly and in unison.
CFW Trick has some nasty attacks that include multiple status ailments, like Paralysis. I suggest you put Compa/Gust in the party to heal these and maintain your parties HP. He also has some devestation skills and he is resistant to Skill Seal. Take him down with skills like IF's Demonic Inferno and Nisa's Dark X-Blade Slash. You can use Nepgear to Defensive Cheer your allies so that attacks will do less damage, or use her for offensive abilities.

Head for the event crystal to chase down Uni again and you will forced into a fight with CFW Brave.
This fight is with just Uni and Nepgear and can be hard if you don't make sure to keep up your HP. Use Nepgear's Defensive Cheer to your advantage, but make sure you heal if anyone gets below 55% HP. It's probably a good idea to shift Nepgear to HDD so she can take more hits. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO USE HEALING ITEMS. If you need to use a healing item, you should have some AP left over to get in a few attacks after. It's hard, but eventually he will go down.

If someone isn't showing up in town, leave and re-enter. Hopefully they will show up soon. You may also need to get them in a certain order, so jump from city to city as you try and get a certain person to appear in the Chirper.
If you have not raised all nations to 55% and seen the Cursed Sword rumors, you will be looked out of the ability to see Conquest Ending.
.
I will be listing all the treasures in the second visit of this area.
Go through the area and you will quickly come across the event crystal. Watch the scene and Nepgear will learn Celestial Severance and fight CFW Judge.
This guy hits you with Seal and HDD Block and is immune to Seal himself. Make sure to have a skill that cures all status ailments by Compa/Gust ready to take off the status ailments so your CPU's can HDD and use their skills. If you can get Nepgear to the Judge, without the status ailments, and HDD her to use Celestial Severance you can take out over half the boss' HP. He will hit her with the ailments again, so just heal them and continue on in the battle. For the most part, your allies are only there to buff and heal Nepgear and let her do all the offensive work. This doesn't mean they shouldn't attack if they can.
Your reward for beating this guy up is the (PP) Judge (B). After a happy reunuion, you will be in chapter 5.
.
Chapter 5: Approaching Shadows
MAKE AN ALTERNATE SAVE NOW FOR ENDINGS LATER
You should have every nation at about 505% or lower so that you can manipulate them for endings. It is possible to lock yourself out of an ending by getting too many shares of another nations that you can't take away. If this happened, don't worry. The game is very quick to replay as you keep everything except event skills and event given items. You keep your level and all your weapons, which is all that matters.

Gamindustri Graveyard Map
Head back to the area you got the event crystal before and continue on. North of the new area is the new event crystal. Save and approach it when you're ready for a fight with CFW Magic.
I don't know if you're suppose to lose this battle, but it is possible to win.
The key here is that she can't hit multiple targets, so bundle your troops together for heals. She also can do one of two attacks based on her AP: 1 shot someone and hit someone once, or hit someone a lot of individual times. The 1 shot is actually better for you, especially if she targets someone other than Gust, like IF in my case. All I had to do then was Chim IF every round. In the meantime, I built up Nepgear's SP to 250 and then HDD and Celestial Severanced CFW Magic. By the time I did this twice she was dead. I ended up needing to use a bunch of revive items, and a Revival Pencil when Gust and IF both died, but it wasn't that bad. You can also get more items.
IF YOU HAVEN'T MADE AN ALTERNATE SAVE, DO SO NOW. ONCE YOU RECRUIT THE CPUS YOU WILL LOCK YOURSELF OUT OF CERTAIN ENDINGS
Please view the Endings section to learn to how to get each ending. If you do NOT meet the True Ending requirements, the game will end at the end of Chapter 6. I suggest you go ahead and get the other endings out of the way so that you can play Chapter 7 and 8 afterwards and not feel like you are going a long ways backwards when you boot up your alternate save.
The following guide information assumes you are going for True Ending.
.

Pirachu's normal attacks don't do much to your team, but his Piratickle can 1 shot most people. I suggest you have a healer in party with enough SP to revive and even possibly a back up healer in another row in case this one dies. Of course, you can skip this and use items as well. Other than this one attack that you have to worry about, take out Pirachu with any skills and he will eventually fall.

Head for the event crystal when you are ready to trigger another scene with Miss Underling (6). This girl just doesn't know when to give up.
This is a good fight to get the 80 Combo on because Underling attacks so little. Standby for two rounds and then right after one of her attacks, go all out with EX Finishes and combos to get the 80 hits you need. Note that some skills like Rushes will do more hits, so use those if they are in the EX chain.
After a quick scene, you will have another battle with CFW Brave (2), except this time it's a fair fight.
