Splitscreen glitch?

I was playing this with my friend and I was Player 2. I would spend the Badass Points and get new skins, but after we would quit the game and start playing again, all of my badass tokens and skins were gone. Any way to fix this?

You fell victim to the infamous Baddass glitch. Unfortunately the only fix for the glitch is to load a previous that you had backed up.
