Canvas of Prayers (Continued)

Grave of a Bounty Hunter

Available from Day 5+

Difficulty: 2 Stars
My brother said he was going to get out of the bounty hunting trade, but what can he do but go and get himself killed by a Zomok! Him and practically everyone else in the band of reckless adventurers. There's no bringing him back now. But at least, I wish I could kill that monster. Then I'd pluck a tuft of stormdragon down from its belly and place it on my brother's tombstone.
Client: Riche
Quest Item: Stormdragon Down x1

Stormdragon Down's are dropped by Zomoks in the Forsaken Graveyard, which is explored during 1-4: Rites for a Goddess, or one can be gained by completing Born from Chaos. There are two canvas of prayers that require these, so they should be hunted alongside Quality Machine Oil from Dreadnoughts. Zomok are no easy mob, and as they appear alongside Dreadnoughts you will need to be able to take out both. Zomoks are weak to lightning, with wind based attacks, while Dreadnoughts are weak to ice attacks and are hard to debuff. Luckily, both give good EP that can be used for Overclock in the battles.

Puppeteer's Lament

Available from Day 5+

Difficulty: 2 Stars
Woe is me! Or more to the point, woe is my favorite marionette, for I have run out of the special lubricating oil I need to keep his joints moving smoothly. Normal oil simply will not do. No, no, he must have the best. The best, I say! Which means quality machine oil of the kind used on Dreadnoughts.
Client: Puppeteer Urma
Quest Item: Quality Machine Oil x1

Quality Machine Oil is dropped by Dreadnoughts in the Forsaken Graveyard, which is explored during 1-4: Rites for a Goddess. There are two canvas of prayers that require these, so they should be hunted alongside Stormdragon Downs from Zomoks. Revenge Has Teeth

Available from Day 5+

Difficulty: 2 Stars
Damn! I want revenge on the monster that slew my pal, but this sword couldn't cut through toilet paper, let alone monster hide. I asked the forge to sharpen the blade, but they tell me they need chipped fangs from Gorgonopsids, and lots of them. What am I gonna do?
Client: Sellsword Ramdall
Quest Item: Chipped Fang x10

Chipped Fangs are dropped by Gorgonopsids that can be found on the path from the Holy District to Old Town on the east side of Luxerion or in the Dead Dunes, as their spawn area in Luxerion is so limited. These enemies are weak to ice attacks and are rather weak with highly telegraphed claw attacks and a poisonous breath attack.

Enchanted Brush

Available from Day 5+ after completing A Song for God and Grave of a Bounty Hunter

Difficulty: 3 Stars
We have commissioned a group of devout artists to restore one of the Order's most treasured murals. But to undertake the task, they must have fin enchanted brushes. Alas, this requires demon spicules from Gaunts and stormdragon down from the belly of a Zomok - not items that are easily procured!
Client: Priest Madya
Quest Item: Demon Spicule x10, Stormdragon Down x8

Demon Spicules are dropped by Gaunts that are found in Luxerion's Forsaken Graveyard, which is explored during 1-4: Rites for a Goddess. They can also be encountered in the Temple Ruins of the Dead Dunes. Stormdragon Down's are dropped by Zomoks, also found in the Forsaken Graveyard.

Night Patrol

Available from Day 5+ after completing Slay the Machine and Revenge Has Teeth

Difficulty: 3 Stars
So I've been hearing talk about a lady warrior who's handy with a blade. I'm not such a slouch myself - maybe she's up for a little challenge? In this day and age, there's no sense fighting each other, not when there are so many monsters to hunt. What I suggest is that we have a competition to see who can bag the most Gorgonopsids and Gertrudes.
Client: Captain Deliah
Quest Item: Chipped Fang x27, Motor Coil x15

Chipped Fangs are dropped by Gorgonopsids that can be found on the path from the Holy District to Old Town on the east side of Luxerion or in the Dead Dunes, as their spawn area in Luxerion is so limited. Difficulty: 3 Stars
Those Etro fanatics have used dark sorcery to summon Dreadnoughts and Meonektons and are trying to use them to menace their foes. Although the heretics do not have full control of the monsters, they are still a terrible threat. Can you send them back to the Chaos whence they were summoned?

Difficulty: 1 Star
I am a practitioner of the alchemic arts, and I am in need of a certain component. I trust that you can help me. Bring me ether coils, as many as you can, of the type found on the Desdemona machine. I do not require them for evil purposes. Of that, you have my word...Hehehe.
Client: Alchemist Monique
Quest Item: Ether Coil x3

Ether Coils are dropped by Desdemonas that commonly appear in the upper levels of Yusnaan's Industrial Area. These enemies are weak to fire and lightning with attacks that have a long cast time, allowing you plenty of time to guard. Many of these will be encountered during 2-1: The Great Break-In and can easily be completed afterwards.

Available from Day 2+

Difficulty: 2 Stars
Welcome to Yusnaan. Ours is as city of revelry and music. I make instruments of all kinds, but alas, these days I find myself short of key components. As a craftsman and music-lover, it grieves me to see someone tooting futilely on a broken bugle. Especially when I know that with poisonous stings from an Anubys, I could repair that bugle and have it play notes so pure they can drive the Chaos away!
Client: Artisan Saila
Quest Item: Poisonous Sting x10

Poisonous Stings are dropped by Anubys' that appear in almost any location between 16:00 and 18:00. They are also located in the Patron's Palace, which is infiltrated in 2-3: A Solitary Patron, and in the Death Game side quest. Though they are not naturally weak to any element, a weakness to any element can be induced with Imperil and they are fairly easy enemies.

A Dangerous Cocktail

Available from Day 3+

Difficulty: 1 Star
Have you ever heard of clear ooze? You know, the stuff that's harvested from Flanitors? I've been told a dollop of that in a glass of Cactuar tequila makes a cocktail that'll blow your socks off. Now if that's true, I reckon that the first bar in Yusnaan to serve it will make some serious gil. Could be a golden opportunity, but first things first - I've gotta give the drink a try and see if the stories are true. So, anyone wanna give me some clear ooze?
Client: Black Market Nej
Quest Item: Clear Ooze x4

Clear Ooze is dropped by Flanitors that appear with the guards throughout Yusnaan before 2-3: A Solitary Patron. If you find it hard to encounter them, due to completing the Yusnaan main quests, they can also be encountered in Patron's Palace Gardens, just south of the Augur's Quarter. They are weak to fire and crowd the guard when he is damaged, allowing aoe effect spells to hit multiple targets at once.

Available after completing 2-1: The Great Break-In

Difficulty: 2 Stars
Ah, my sweet Lesia! What madness prompted us to part ways? You were the love of my life, my soul mate, yet I lost you over some foolish tiff I cannot even remember.... We went our separate ways, and now we have our own families. But perhaps it's not too late to turn back the clock. If I were to find our old treasures, the jade hair comb and the bronze pocket watch, could we rekindle our love?
Client: Marmo

Difficulty: 2 Stars
In this world of ours, no one grows old. But at the same time, no one gets any younger, either. Children stay as children, youths remain youths - and the old and the infirm stay that way, for century after century. I have heard tell of a mushroom called the chocoborel, which grows in the forest of Jagd. The puzzling thing is, chocobos refuse to eat it. So why is it called a chocobo-rel? Maybe because it is shaped like a chocobo? Now wouldn't that be the most amazing thing if it were true!
