Question from SailorCallie
Is it possible to download PS3 games onto the hard drive and play them w/o using the discs?
I have a question about the PS3. Can you download a PS3 game (i.e., Dynasty Warriors Gundam) onto the console's hard drive and then play it later without having the disc in the machine?

If you mean to copy the entire game from disc to PS3 - then no.
But if the game in available on PS Store - then you may purhase that game, install it on HDD and forget about the disk... Be warned tho - the saves for disc and downloaded versions of the games may differ, so you may be unable to continue your progress after changing your source of the game...
