Question from vonymon
How to fix IP problems when connecting PS3 to WWAN connection?
I'm trying to connect my PS3 to the internet through my laptop and its verizon aircard. I have connected it with an ethernet cable and changed the aircard network settings to allow sharing, but when I try to configure the PS3's network settings, it says "The attempt to get an IP address timed out." What can I do to fix this?
I did get a crossover cable, still had the same problem.

Your ethernet cable needs to be a crossover type.
