Question from bassguy666
How do I correct the AV/HDMI output?
Through the HDMI output the PS3 has video but no sounds, through the AV output it has neither. Is there any way to fix this problem?

I actually used to work for Sony in their Technical Support and this was a common issue, and I'd say 90% of the time this works...what you do is you turn the system off using the touch activated sensor on the front ( the power button) then once the sytem is completely turned off and you see a red light, then you need to press and HOLD the power button, until you hear TWO beeps, you'll hear the first one right away and the second after roughly 3 seconds. Once you hear the second beep you can release the button and the system will start normally. That is how you reset your A/V settings and the PS3 on initial startup auto configures to the correct settings.

Go to your sound settings and enable audio through HDMI output.
