You can start the Titan's Trials once you've completed Mission 34. To unlock Mission 34, you need to complete Mission 30, for Mission 30 you need only to have reached Sulyya Springs. Really, you're best bet is to clear the missions in order. If you do (they will help prepare you), you will hit the Titan's Trials at Mission 35. The trials encompass Missions 35-51.

I personally did not find the trials very difficult. My part is maxed in all 3 of their primary roles, as well as one of their secondaries. 2 characters have ultimate weapons, but other than that they don't have anything spectacular.

If you're only interested in getting Gilgamesh, Inc., accept the missions in this order: 35, 36, 38, 42, 46. You'll understand that more once you've seen the layout., There will be Cie'th stones throught the trials, and they will determine which route you take. Follow the route above and you will obtain Gilgamesh, Inc. after killing the "boss" in the Titan's Throne area.

To complete the trials, you will have to go through the paths at least 6 times, then one final time to fight the final boss of the area.

Here are the most efficient paths through the trials for a complete run: [35, 36, 38, 41, 45] [35, 36, 38, 42, 46] [35, 36, 39, 42, 47] [35, 37, 39, 43, 48] [35, 37, 40, 43, 49] [35, 37, 40, 44, 50]. Then run through one more time and take Mission 51 to Titan's Throne, that will be the final boss.

Personally, the only enemies that may cause you trouble are the Neochu (Mission 45), the Tonberry (Mission 41), and the Zirnitra (Mission 46). Even those are fairly easy if you take your time.

The final boss cannot be staggered, so just drive his chain up as high as possible and then beat on him with Commandos, pausing to heal when needed.

Note that you do not get any special bonus items for completing the Trials other than those obtained from the individual marks. You will, however, get the Silver Trophy "Natural Selector" for finishing.

Hope this helps!
