UPGRADE BONUS FACTORS
FINAL FANTASY XIII
Version 1.0
By
AZorro007
This guide tabulates the "bonus factor" quantity requirements for "organic
components" that are options for use in the Weapon and Accessory upgrade
process of Final Fantasy XIII. By use of the "bonus factor" components, each
component used in the upgrade process can add "experience" in the amount of up
to three times its "base" experience value during an upgrade activity.
The material of this presentation is based upon facts gathered and opinions
gained by play of the original U.S Version of Final Fantasy XIII game (put on
sale on March 9, 2010) on the Model CECHE01 PlayStation 3 gaming console. It
presents results of game play as experienced by the author.
The material of this guide is copyright 2010 by its author; Robert E. Fricks

The tabulation entries are accurate for all upgrades using a single component
for bonus factor definition. Multiple components can be combined to produce
any bonus factor but, if so, required quantities may vary slightly from those
displayed.
Most of the listed items can be obtained as after battle "spoils". Some items
are available only by purchase from Final Fantasy XIII shops.
Source designations use titles as displayed in the game's Datalog entries. Two
abbreviations are used in the Table to describe some sources: CC 150 denotes
purchase from Creature Comforts for 150 Gil as a source; Msn N is used to
designate that the completion bonus from re accomplishment of Gran Pulse
Mission N is a possible source.
Under "Principal Sources", numbers placed in square brackets have been used to
refer the reader to additional information on sources for the cited "organic"
component contained in the notes section at the end of the table.
