Grand Theft Auto IV
Question from HastecasterAsked: 1 year ago
Omg, so I bought Gta4 hoping I would be able to play it... nope... 4 hours later after the download and install.
I load game, no sound. Nothing. No BGM no SFX no voices, I can see everyone talking but I hear nothing. I know it is not my console because my Ps3 dashboard clicks and I can listen to music/watch movies (with sound).
I need help has this happened to anyone else?, can someone please help me...

I've figured it out, no one responded. I had my ol'lady check it for me while I was at work.
I tried downloading GTA4 2 times both without success and without sound.
I uninstalled my GTA4 edition, deleted all of my "gta4" game datas and save datas. From here I used the system restore function. (Hold power, wait until the console beeps and shuts down, remove finger. Press the console power again and hold it until you hear 2 beeps, you will be taken to the system options). I entered the file restore function. Let it do its thang, when it was finished I hit the market and attempted a re-download. I woke up the following day and clicked install, my old lady tested the game said it has sound.
this is a FYI in case it happens to you. Delete all 'gamename' data&saves, utilize the file restore function, re-download content.
