VII. Walkthrough
Sam Monroe: 1st Scenario
When the game starts, get Sam to deactivate his flashlight and run
up to the stairs ahead of him. Stay crouched all the way.
(CUTSCENE)
When the cutscene ends of the poor miner turning to a Shibito,
use the mining carts next to him to sneak up on him and head to the
tunnels. You'll find a pipe lodged on the tunnel wall. Take it and
stay crouched while approaching the lady shibito with a Kama in her
hand.
*Shibito Takedown Move*
- When you're near the lady shibito and she still doesn't notice you,
attack her with the pipe. Sam will stun her by whacking the pipe on her
head and dash to her before he'll smash the shibito on a window, knocking
her out for the rest of the scenario.
Keep an eye out for a small building next to some discarded mining carts.
Look for a ladder behind it and climb up. Locate the VHS tape and take it.
It'll be added to your archive. Climb down and get to the small hut.
Use your pipe (or whatever weapon you got) to start breaking down the lock
on the door. When it's done, head inside to finish the 1st scenario.
Sam Monroe: 2nd Scenario
(CUTSCENE)
When the cutscene ends regarding the encounter with Melissa, hold up the
door that you used to get inside 'cause the lady shibito's gonna try
and break inside. After you're successful (or not), watch out for her
once she's inside the hut. Start whacking her with the pipe. Melissa
helping you out here is a big plus. Two heads are better than one, after
all. XP
Get to the phone nearby and dial the numbers 508 on the notepad
shown next to it. A Shibito will answer it. Put the cradle down
and follow Melissa up towards another tunnel.
(CUTSCENE)
Melissa will advise you to backtrack towards another tunnel as there
are too many shibitos for them to fight. Backtrack to the other tunnel
and locate a rail switch lever. Pull it and then sneak up towards
a fisherman shibito facing the elevator shaft.
*Shibito Takedown Move*
- Attack the shibito next to the shaft when he's not looking. Sam'll
whack him. After he's stunned, Sam will push him all the way down
the empty shaft.
Take the revolver on the ground and enter the pump room with its door
open. Search the shelves and get a can opener. Backtrack to the tunnel
and head back to the tunnel that you and Melissa went to. Careful,
shibitos will converge on you. Use the revolver and aim for their
heads if possible to reduce the amount of bullets needed to gun them
down.
*Shibito Takedown Move*
- When you have the revolver, try to evade a shibito's attack on you
and attack them by pressing square. Sam'll whip them on the face
with the revolver and will aim at their face at point blank
range before firing a shot at their forehead.
*Shibito Takedown Move*
- When you're near the bridge's railings, attack one of the shibitos
after dodging its attack. Sam will shoot one of them and then
shove them off the bridge.
When you taken care of most of the shibitos, run inside the other
tunnel and keep an eye out for a shibito that'll try and do a surprise
attack on you. Gun her down and push the lone mine cart.
When it starts to move, ride on it so's to get to the other tunnel
without the need to walk. After the cart busts open the locked
door, enter it and locate the miner's journal for it to be
added to your archives.
Run back to the other tunnel again and look for a corridor on your right.
Run towards the end to finish the level and demo.
(CUTSCENE)
After the cutscene of Sam getting the ability to sightjack, the game
Ends with an announcement of S:NT being released in Japan
