03. Introduction EIORD
===============================================================================
This is my 2nd FAQ for Playstation Home. I have not being working on any FAQs
for quite a long time, so go easy on me. If there's any mistake please let me
know and I will correct it on the next update.
You don't have to own Siren: Blood Curse (or New Translation) to know how to
play. Ward of Despair is a simple but scary mini game that you can play along
with your friends or alone. You get to earn rewards such as the SIREN T-shirts,
Nurse costume and etc. It's a fun place to be so don't miss it.
Lastly, if you have heart problems, you are not advisable to play this game as
it might be shocking at certain point of the game. With all said and done,
enjoy this FAQ and enjoy your despair!

04. For First Timer ASAIV
===============================================================================
To download the lounge, press Start to bring up the Home PDA. Select Locations,
and then select the World Map. You should be able to see SIREN's tab on the
screen. Select it and download "SIREN Lounge". It takes a while depending on
your connection speed. Once the downloading is done, you can start visiting the
lounge.
When you reach the lounge, you need to download another file named "Ward of
Despair" before you can play the mini game. Go to the enterance of the Hospital
to starts your download.
Once you reach inside Ward of Despair, you can look at the TV screen to read
the rules and objective of the game. To play the game, go to the information
counter and press the selecting button (X or O depanding on your PS3's region.)
This will bring up an window for the mini game. If the game is unavailable,
that means the mini game is currently in session and you will have to wait for
other players to finish the game or game over.

05. How to Play ASOIQ
===============================================================================
The objective of this mini game is avoid the Shibitos and escape from the ward
alive. If you bump into a Shibito, you will be killed instantly. There is no
weapons to defend yourself, so you have to rely on stealth and wit to play.
You are given 5 minutes to escape; it is more than enough if you know what to
do. It can be beaten in 3 minutes or less if you are fast enough.
The control of this mini game is very simple; therefore I will not explain it
further.
There are a total of 3 different scenarios in Ward of Despair; you might want
to take note of what happen at the beginning of each game.

06. Cast DJDIW
===============================================================================
What's a Shibito? No it's not a combination of Shit with Burrito. The term is
loosely translated as corspe people, or something like zombie or undead.
The Shibitos are the stars in this mini game and you can see their names on the
chat log. Therefore I will describe the Shibitos in the FAQ by their names as
well.
Nurse Yukie - Young looking and slim build in white nurse uniform. I bet she
was hot before she turn into a Shibito. =)
Nurse Michiyo - Middle age Shibito in white nurse uniform. She have a great
sense of responsibility as she always rush to attending to
emergency whenever the emergency bell is rang.
Nurse Naomi - Middle age Shibito, small build in white nurse uniform with
blue coat. She looks slightly older than Nurse Michiyo.
G..NT H..D - Well, you get to see him or rather... part of him at the end.

07. Tips and Hints KEODJ
===============================================================================
- Be nice; don't start the game early selfishly. Let others have a chance to
join in too. You don't own the game alone.
- If you have no idea what to do, let the more experienced player lead.
- The Shibitos are short sighted so they can't see you from far. If you stand
too close from behind, they will notice and kill you.
- Learn from pass mistakes and try not to repeat them. There is a total of 3
Scenarios in this mini game which can be confusing at first. So try to
memorise what to do and what not to do in each of them.
- If you beat the game once or twice, don't be a smart alec and try to lead.
I had players who didn't realise that a key is require to open locked doors.

08. Identify the Scenario GJRJK
===============================================================================
This is the MOST IMPORTANT part of the game. I repeat, THE MOST IMPORTANT part.
I had teammate who tries to lead when he/she doesn't even know which scenario
we are playing. There are a total of 3 different scenarios in Ward of Despair,
they are Nurse, Doctor and Miyako. Each of these scenario has it's own strategy
to beat, so you better be alert or else you will game over in less than a few
seconds.
You will be given 1 of the 3 scenarios randomly for each game. It shouldn't
take more than a few seconds and this is a good way to test your memory too.
So, how do you identify the Scenario? It's simple; just take note of what
happen the moment the game starts.
- If a Shibito walks out of the Female Bath Room, then you're playing the
Nurse's Scenario.
- If there is a Shibito walking in the lift lobby area, then you're playing
the Doctor's Scenario.
- If nothing happen at the beginning, then you're playing Miyako's Scenario.
Please refer to the walkthroughs below base on the scenario given to you.

If you see Shibito (Nurse Michiyo) walking out of the Female Bath Room, then
you're playing the Nurse's Scenario. First, activate the EMERGENCY BELL on your
left so that she will think that it's an emergency rang by patients and rush to
attempt to it.
Next, go forward into the LIFT LOBBY area and call the ELEVATOR. Stay at the
side of the lift door and wait it to arrive. Nurse Yukie is in the lift so you
better not stand in front of the door. Wait for her to walk out before going
in.
Grab the key to SURGERY PREP ROOM from the lift and head to the back of the
stated room. You can see Nurse Naomi at the back but not to worry because she
is harmless at this point. Unlock and go through the door. Due to some reason
you might experience unresponsive control here with your analog stick so push
it a few time to gain control. Take the staircase down to the basement.
Once you reach the basement, run towards the INCINERATOR ROOM and this will
trigger an event where Nurse Naomi burst out of the room. Stay still and wait
for her to walk down the hallway.
Go into the INCINERATOR ROOM and pick up the NURSE SHOES, then go into the
LOCKER ROOM to pick up the NURSE UNIFORM. Watch out for Nurse Naomi when
you go back to the hallway. Go into the ADMINISTATIVE OFFICE and grab the
NURSE CAP on the table.
Go to the junction marked as (!) on the map, Nurse Michiyo will notice and yell
at you. When you regain the control, quickly move to (%) marked on the map or
move back into the ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE. She will run pass you and went into
the corridor between the ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE and KITCHEN. Use this chance and
make your way towards the goal to escape.
If you are playing with teammates, they should camp inside the ADMINISTRATIVE
OFFICE or the otherside of the hallway and wait for Nurse Michiyo to move away
from her post.

If there is a Shibito (Nurse Naomi) walking in circle at the lift lobby area,
then you're playing the Doctor's Scenario. First thing you need to do is to the
check the EXAM ROOM on your right. Nurse Michiyo is inside the room so learn
her pattern before going in. When Nurse Michiyo is facing the wall, sneak pass
from behind and grab the SURGERY PREP ROOM key from the desk. You can hide
behind cover with the curtains. Sneak back to the hallway when she looks away
again.
Next, watch out for Nurse Naomi at the lift lobby area and go to the back of
the SURGERY PREP ROOM. Unlock the door like what you did in the Nurse Scenario
and head down to the basement.
Once you reach the basement, head towards the AUTOPSY ROOM and you will notice
Nurse Michiyo is standing at the door. How did she get down here so fast? o_o
Turn left and go down the hallway, activate the EMERGENCY BELL to distract
Nurse Michiyo. She will then walk away and go to the ELEVATOR. While she waits
for her lift, you can proceed down the hallway and collect the SHOES, it is
marked as (%) on the map.
Backtrack to the LOCKER ROOM and grab a CROWBAR from the locker, then use it to
open the INCINERATOR next door. Grab the ADMINISTATIVE OFFICE KEY from the
INCINERATOR and go back to the hallway. By this time, Nurse Michiyo should have
taken her lift and went upstairs. Call the ELEVATOR so that the lift will come
down. While waiting for your lift, go to the AUTOPSY ROOM and grab the TROUSERS
next to dead body and the WHITE COAT on the wall.
The lift should have arrived by now. Grab the SIGNAL FLARE from the lift and we
are ready to escape. Head to the ADMINISTATIVE OFFICE and watch out for Nurse
Yukie. She will turn around every few seconds so don't get caught by her. When
she turns away, unlock the door marked as (!) on the map and proceed.
Lastly, use the SIGNAL FLARE on Nurse Naomi and make your to the goal.

If nothing happens in the beginning, then you are playing on Miyako's scenario.
This scenario has 2 variations depending on whether you are playing Solo or in
a Team.
If you are playing in a team, check out the LAIDES TOILET first, there might
be a chance that a dead homie drop on the floor and left a Key for SURGERY
PREP ROOM. This happens a lot when you are in team of at least 3 players.
Simply grab the key and head to the back of the SURGERY PREP ROOM. Unlock the
door and go down to the basement.
If the LAIDES TOILET is locked, you will have to check out the EXAM ROOM.
When you open EXAM ROOM's door, this will caught Nurse Naomi's attention and
she will walk out of the room to check out the starting area. Most players
died here in a team for one or several reasons, mainly due to lag, ignorance
or sabotaged by teammates. So to prevent being a sitting duck, always move
towards the toilet when you are playing in the team on this scenario.
When Nurse Naomi walks out of the EXAM ROOM, sneak inside to grab the FIRE
EXTINGUISHER but don't go out yet because Nurse Naomi is coming back. She
will go out again, so use this opportunity to exit.
Go towards Nurse Michiyo at the LIFT LOBBY AREA, mark as (!) on the map and
use the FIRE EXTINGUISHER on her. This will drive her away so that you can
head down to the basement.
When you reach the basement, go straight into the AUTOPSY ROOM. Nurse Michiyo
is inside here too, but she won't notice you at all. Grab the ADMINISTRATIVE
OFFICE Key from the washing basin and this will trigger an event. Nurse Michiyo
will run to the door have a chat with Nurse Naomi. I don't understand what they
are talking about so feel free to make up your own story.
When their conversation is over, follow Nurse Naomi as she walks down the
hallway. Go into the LOCKER ROOM and grab the KITCHEN TIMER, then go to the back
of the ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE and unlock the door. Go in, pick up DRY BATTERIES
from the shelf and set the timer on the desk.
Next, go to the hallway marked as (%) to wait for the timer to goes off. If you
are playing in a team, your teammates should camp here if they are not assigned
with any task. When Nurse Yukie is lure away from her spot, head for the goal
to escape.
[Teamwork tips]
Here's something your teammate can do for you. When the Nurses are busy
talking, your teammate should head to the LOCKER ROOM to grab the KITCHEN
TIMER. Then wait for you to unlock the ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE so that he can
enter to set up the timer.

12. Rewards & Lounge Secrets FREEB
===============================================================================

SIREN T-Shirt - Escape from the Ward of Despair once and you will get the
T-shirts for both genders.
Nurse Outfit - Collect Nurse Cap, White Uniform and Nurse Shoes from the
Nurse's Scenario and escape from the Ward of Despair. This is
for female only.
Doctor Outfit - Collect White Coat, Trousers and Shoes from the Doctor's
Scenario and escape from the Ward of Despair. This is for
male only.
Miyako's Dress - Escape from Ward of Despair under 3 minutes in Miyako's
Scenario. This is for female only.
Tokonoma Set - Team up with 4 other players and escape before anyone dies.
This can be done in any scenario.

- Lounge Secrets -
------------------
Shibito Sightings - If you hang around outside Ward of Despair at around
3th and 43th minute of every hour, you will see some
Shibitos walking about.
Gunshot - At 11.55pm every night, you can hear a loud bang.
Sirens and more Shibito - At midnight, the sky will turn red and the siren
will goes off. You can see a huge gathering of
Shibitos at the lounge.
Note: This FAQ is writen base on Hong Kong server (+8GMT) therefore the timing
might be different for other server.

13. Frequently Asked Questions TIGDK
===============================================================================
Q: I talk to the nurse at the counter but it won't allow me to play.
A: That means the game is currently in session. You have to wait until the
players escape from the ward or game over.
Q: My teammate picked up the key but I can still see the item's sparkles.
A: This mini game is programe in such a way that every item has unlimited
stock. Therefore it can be pick by every player. This allow other players
to pick up key items in case the person holding the key dies. This feature
also allows players to grab the same cloths item without hindering each
other.
Q: Everyone is spamming the Bubble Machines! How am I going to play?
A: When you press X or O on an item, you can move your analog stick left or
right to move your target to the mini game window. When you found it, keep
the window open and enter the game when it is available.
Q: What is the message that appear whenever you went into the Siren Lounge?
It's too fast and I can't read it.
A: The message is "The Pavillion which only has Hopelessness whatever you do."
Q: Isn't it suppose to be under 2 minutes for Miyako's Dress?
