Can someone explain the DLC?

So I've noticed that Hitman is providing the option of buying special outfits and weapons for the game itself, But I also know that you arent allowed to choose your loadout for a level like in previous hitman games. So basically all I want to know is how the dlc is situated in the game. Can i use it in the campaign, can i only use it in contact mode, are there restrictions to when I can use these costumes or weapons? Please and thank you :)

Yeah unfortunately the outfits and different gun loadouts are only a contracts mode feature

Yes either buy them by doing continuous contracts or find them in the story mode.

DLC only work for Contracts, which really sucks.
