Is it going to be the last game in the series?

I know that SCEA are probably releasing more games for the psp but like chains of olympus they are probably earlier in the story.

It has been confirmed that this will be the last game in the trilogy, but not in the franchise.

this is not end of the franchise but, the story where GOW2 left is going to end in GOW 3. There will be new game series but not now.

Never mind, now i know that it is the last game in the trilogy (i read an article in IGN) but not in the franchise!

It's the last game in the series. Although the franchise shall go on. Although, it'll be probably be with other characters, and not Kratos.
Stuff happens.

well, considering the ending, you don't really know if Kratos will go on to other games. Watch the scene after the credits roll to see what I mean.
