Welcome to my Trophies FAQ for Cross Edge, which is a crossover RPG for the
Playstation 3 that includes characters from many different universes. The
characters are included from Ar Tonelico, Disgaea, Darkstalkers, Mana Khemia 2,
Atelier Marie and the Soul series of games.

First and foremost, this is not a game where you will get the platinum trophy
just like that. It will take a lot of time, especially with the trophies
requiring all weapons and items. Note that in order to get everything done, you
will need to go after the True Ending (Truth End, as it's known to some). This
is a very precise and meticulous process, so it will be detailed in The Dood
trophy description.

Everything in the game can be done on any difficulty, but there is something
special about Hard mode. On Hard mode, you get exclusive access to a special
area in the post-game (known as 5-3 to those who play the game), which is
accessed by getting the True Ending. You can fight very high leveled (and
tough) bosses that drop special synthesis ingredients that either are hard
to come by or are one-of-a-kind.

There are a total of 24 trophies in the game: 5 bronze, 11 silver, 7 gold and
1 platinum trophy, of course. The trophies will be listed in alphabetical order,
for easier reference.

.--------------------.
( CROSSOVER CONQUEST )
'--------------------'
TYPE -- Platinum

This is the obligatory platinum trophy that all retail games have, which is
acquired by getting all bronze, silver and gold trophies. This is, I repeat,
not a quick platinum and will require a lot of grinding, especially for the item
and weapon trophies.

.---------------.
( THE AGGRESSOR )
'---------------'
TYPE -- Silver

You need to execute a 400-hit combo in order to get this trophy. You will
definitely not be getting this until late in the game, most likely in the
post-game. A Thousand Deaths or Fanatic Rave are probably your best bets when
trying to go for this trophy, as both of them contribute A LOT of hits to the
combo meter. Note that this must be done in one battle for it to count.

One example uses York, Felicia and Lazarus. Note that you will most likely need
to perform this set of combos twice to reach the 400 hits, so you would need
32 AP with York, 104 AP with Felicia and 112 AP with Lazarus. You will need the
following skills and the order you would use them would be:

York -- Quick Shot
Felicia -- Delta Kick, Romping Kitty
Lazarus -- Critical Combo, Acceleration

Quick Shot --> Delta Kick (Trick Vanish) --> Quick Shot --> Delta Kick (Sneaky
Steps) --> Delta Kick --> Romping Kitty (Deadly Dance) --> Romping Kitty -->
Critical Combo (Rave Accelerator) --> Critical Combo --> Acceleration (A
Thousand Deaths)

Once you get all of the necessary skills for the characters, head back to the
first area of Zeine and get in a fight with one of the weak enemies there. Then,
you can unleash the combo above and should get the necessary hits for the
trophy. You need to finish the battle for the trophy to ring up.

.------------.
( THE BADASS )
'------------'
TYPE -- Bronze

You need to exceed 10,000 points of damage in a single combo in a fight, which
shouldn't be hard to achieve later in the game, especially when going for some
of the titles and later trophies.

.------------------.
( THE BATTLE READY )
'------------------'
TYPE -- Gold

This is one of the easier collection trophies, this one requiring all of the
armors in the game. You'll get a majority of the armors from the souls and as
rewards from titles, but there are some that will require synthesis. There is
a total of 89 pieces of armor in the game and you can always check your in-game
Item Encyclopedia to keep track of which ones you have and don't have. Note that
all you need is to have it registered in the Item Encyclopedia and are not
required to have all of them in your inventory at the same time.

.-----------.
( THE BULLY )
'-----------'
TYPE -- Bronze

You need to defeat 100 enemy units to get this trophy. An enemy unit is
classified as a single enemy in a battle, so this should come not too far into
the game, as long as you fight every battle. Note that the enemy unit won't
count if you run from the battle, so make sure you finish the battle to make it
count.

.----------.
( THE DOOD )
'----------'
TYPE -- Gold

This is one of the more annoying trophies in the game, as you need to earn the
True Ending to get it. To get the True Ending, you have to trigger certain
events and follow a specific path during the game's main story. If you miss
any of the following events, you will fail and won't get this trophy.

-- During any battle with Demitri and Lilith, do not touch Demitri and just
   kill Lilith

-- During any battle with Augustine, simply kill his minions and don't try to
   touch him

-- During any battle with Troy and Anesha, make sure to only go after Anesha and
   not to touch Troy

1) After you get Felicia in the first area of Wilkiet, head south and then east
from the first save point. Trigger the search when the land ends for the
"Gasping Fish Beneath the Ice" event. This is the first Hot Springs event.

2) After finding the second save point in the first area of Brosste, go east and
search in the forest for the "Comedic Tragedy of 'F'" event.

3) Again from the second save point in the first area of Brosste, journey past
the southern forest and search between the two towns to find the "Scarlet
   Noella" event.

4) When you fight Lazarus in the "Twin Canumares" event in the first area of
Brosste, you are required to actually reduce his HP to zero before 5 turns
pass (battle will end if 5 turns pass).

5) Once you enter the second area of Wilkiet, head back to the Spies' Quickness
save point in the first area of Wilkiet. Go to the other side of the mountain
to the west and search just outside the forest there for the "Ancient
   Volcanic Water" event.

6) In the second area of Wilkiet, you'll fight both Demitri and Lilith. In this
battle, you only want to defeat Lilith (try to avoid touching Demitri if you
   can, for insurance).

7) In the second area of Wilkiet, search southwest in the area after passing
through the forest in the middle and going down the left side for the
   "Thorough Purging" event.

8) In the second area of Wilkiet, you need to search on the last island
southeast from the dungeon you came in from. This is the "Neverending
Fantasy" event, and it should be done before the fight with Augustine. Also
note that you shouldn't touch Augustine during that fight, so make sure not
to attack him. To be on the safe side, with every fight with Augustine, do
not touch him and just kill his minions.

9) In the second area of Zeine, you get into a fight with Troy and Anesha.
During that fight, you should only defeat Anesha and not touch Troy at all.
This should be the case with all battles with these two.

10) After the battle with Troy/Anesha, in the second area of Zeine, go to
the northwest edge and search for the "Dale Wenso" event next to the snowy
    mountains.

11) After you fight Troy in the second area of Zeine, head back to Ferryman's
Hideout in the first area of Wilkiet. Once there, search just south of the
save point for the "Forest of the Ice Butterfly" event just at the northern
    tip of the forest.

12) In the third area of Zeine, there is a big piece of land jutting out in the
northeast corner. Search there for the "Gi LaMensa" event.

13) Once you reach the third area of Wilkiet, head back to the Manor at Len
Mountains in the first area of Zeine. Head south and stick to the mountains,
and you should find the "Niu Spa" event as you search along the way.

14) After you fight Reicher, go north past the tablet that just disappeared and
then search just south of the forest for the "Disappointed Inquiry" event.

15) You will fight Troy the second time. After that, go southwest and search
southwest of the little town that is almost surrounded by the forest for the
    "Sheritun de Mollet Guinea" event.

16) After the one-on-one fight between Troy and York, you'll be thrown into
another battle with Augustine and some minions. As usual, do not touch
Augustine and just kill the minions. The battle should end when all his
    minions are dead.

17) In the third area of Brosste, after viewing the "Dhali's False Report"
event, search in the forest by Bel Canto's exit for the "Overwhelming
Enea's Square" event. You have to fight 9 bees in this battle, with York
    and Marie being required.

18) As you progress through the third area of Brosste, you'll unlock the area in
the southeast. Once you do, search on the north side of the central town to
uncover the "Nikran Fire Spot" event.

19) As soon as you enter the dungeon leading to the next area in the third area
of Brosste (Fett Road), exit it and go back to a save point. Move to the
Nefteg's Tower save point in the ****** area of *******, then search in the
forest to the east for the "Rofia Spring" event.

20) When you first get to the first area of Pragma, you're going to need to get
to a save point (you can fight Jedah first) and head back to the Traveler's
Distance save point in the third area of Wilkiet. Search at the west end of
the forest to the west for the "Wailing Evergreen" event.

Once you view the above event, move to the Hideout of the Moon save point in
    the second area of Wilkiet.

21) In the first area of Pragma, you will fight both Demitri and Lilith. Only
concentrate on one of them (if you can Overkill one, then do so to Demitri
since he has the better item) and after the battle, both Demitri and Lilith
    will join you.

22) When you first get to the second area of Pragma, head to the northeast
corner from where you exit and search for the "Jill Elino Flash" event.

23) After you view the story event with Judas, Jedah and everyone, head into
the grassy area north of you. There's a secret path behind the buildings
here that leads to the lone area slightly to the northeast. Once you get
to that area mentioned, search for the "Rend Boundary" event.

24) When you go past where the first tablet is, continue going southeast to the
circle area where you must go around some kind of wall and start heading
northwest. Once at the circle, search at around 12 o'clock or so to find
    the "Noin Split" event.

25) This part is very important. During the jailbreak segment with Ayatane,
Miko and Troy, you will engage in three fights. During the final battle
with Judas and Jedah, neither Ayatane nor Troy can die at all (if they die
and are revived, you're screwed). To be on the safe side, make sure not
to let either of them die in any of the three battles. Also, during that
final of the three battles, try not to attack and concentrate on staying
alive. The prison break event is in the second area of Pragma, one of the
two story events close to the last tablet.

When you get Troy, Ayatane and Miko back, Mimi and Cece will also join.

-----NOTE
After the jailbreak story event, you will be able to tell if you're on the
True Ending path or not. Go to any save point and check to see if Titles 31-50
and 72-80 are available, then congratulations. If not, then something went wrong
somewhere.

26) Once you get access to the dungeon in the third area of Pragma, do not go in
right away. Instead, search directly west of the entrance, close to the
grass square to find the "Forsaken Echt" event.

Once you enter the dungeon in the third area of Pragma, Vivi should join
your party if you're on the True Ending path.

27) Once you enter the dungeon from the last event, head back out and behind the
tower. There should be an unseen path that leads to the area to the north.
Search in the northeast corner for the "Respell Bath" event.

-----NOTE
You should get the trophy after you beat the last boss in the first area of
Ida if you've done everything right. You don't need the next event, but you
should get it anyways so you can get all the costumes, which are a requirement
for another trophy.

28) Once you've beaten the game and load up your data, search where you start
to get an event where Raizen and Lazarus rejoin. After that, head east to
the lava river, but don't cross the bridge. Search to the north to find the
last hot springs event, "Spring of Overflowing Sea."

.--------------.
( THE ENTITLED )
'--------------'
TYPE -- Bronze

All you have to do for this trophy is unlock any title in the Database section
of a save point. You won't get access to the Database section right away, but it
isn't that far from the beginning of the game.

.-----------------.
( THE FASHIONISTA )
'-----------------'
TYPE -- Gold

You have to have every single accessory registered in the Item Encyclopedia for
you to get this trophy. You do find a large number of accessories if you hunt
down every soul you can find, but there are some that require synthesis. There
are 43 accessories in the game.

.-------------.
( THE GAMBLER )
'-------------'
TYPE -- Silver

You need to reach 300 BASE Luck with any character. These aren't as bad as you
think, as long as you don't spend any of them. Basically, hoard the PP until
you have at least 2,000 and then spend them all on one character until you get
the trophy to pop up. You can reload your game afterwards, so you don't waste
the points. Prinny or Misha will require the least amount of PP for this.

.------------------.
( THE GOD OF DEATH )
'------------------'
TYPE -- Silver

You need to defeat 3,000 enemy units to get this trophy. There isn't much to
say here, but to not run away from many battles and that it'll probably require
a lot of grinding.

.------------------.
( THE GRAVE ROBBER )
'------------------'
TYPE -- Gold

You need to find 150 items using Search in the game. As long as you try and get
every Soul, then you should get this towards the end of the story. Each item
you find in a Soul counts as one towards this (not counting more than one of
the same item). Here are some maps to help in your search, but note that you
will need a higher Search Level to get all of the souls:

.----------------.
( THE GUN RUNNER )
'----------------'
TYPE -- Gold

This is the one of the two difficult collection trophies, with this one
centering around weapons. There are a total of 287 weapons in the game, and
a good portion need to be synthesized. You will need to be on the True Ending
path, because many of the drops needed are from the post-game areas.

.----------------.
( THE HIGHLANDER )
'----------------'
TYPE -- Silver

You need to survive a total of 900 battles in order to get this trophy. You must
finish the fight for it to count, as running away will negate that battle. This
will most likely take some grinding to achieve, unless you don't run away from
a lot of battles during the game.

.----------------.
( THE HIKIKOMORI )
'----------------'
TYPE -- Gold

This is definitely the hardest and most time-consuming trophy in the game, as
it involves plenty of other trophies. You must fulfill the requirement for every
single title in the Database. You need to be on the True Ending path, as there
are plenty of titles that involve the post-game.

1-8 -- Killing enemy units (caps at 3,000)
9-15 -- Surviving battles (caps at 900)
16-22 -- Dealing damage in one combo in a battle (caps at 1,000,000)
23-28 -- Getting certain number of hits in one combo (caps at 400)
29 -- All normal Branch Combos
30 -- All EX-Branch Combos
31-50 -- Killing optional bosses in post-game
51-80 -- Killing a certain number of specific enemies
81-92 -- Having certain number of specific drops from enemies in inventory
93-98 -- Having certain number of specific healing items in inventory
99 -- Have every weapon registered in encyclopedia
100 -- Have every armor registered in encyclopedia
101 -- Have every accessory registered in encyclopedia
102 -- Have every item registered in encyclopedia
103-107 -- Finding certain number of items using Search
108-112 -- Exceeding certain amount of gold (not cumulative)
113-117 -- Perform certain number of syntheses (caps at 500)
118-122 -- Perform certain number of upgrades (caps at 500)
123 -- Obtain all other titles

.-------------.
( THE JUGGLER )
'-------------'
TYPE -- Bronze

You need to get at least a 50-hit combo in a battle to get this trophy. This
shouldn't be too much trouble, especially with York and Felicia in your party,
as they combo pretty well together.

.------------.
( THE JUICER )
'------------'
TYPE -- Silver

You need to reach 300 BASE STR with any character. These aren't as bad as you
think, as long as you don't spend any of them. Basically, hoard the PP until
you have at least 2,000 and then spend them all on one character until you get
the trophy to pop up. You can reload your game afterwards, so you don't waste
the points. Zelos would be ideal here, as he would require the least PP.

.-----------------.
( THE KNOW-IT-ALL )
'-----------------'
TYPE -- Silver

You need to reach 300 BASE INT with any character. These aren't as bad as you
think, as long as you don't spend any of them. Basically, hoard the PP until
you have at least 2,000 and then spend them all on one character until you get
the trophy to pop up. You can reload your game afterwards, so you don't waste
the points. Shurelia or Vivi would be ideal for this, as they would require the
least PP.

.-----------------.
( THE MEAT SHIELD )
'-----------------'
TYPE -- Silver

You need to reach 300 BASE VIT with any character. These aren't as bad as you
think, as long as you don't spend any of them. Basically, hoard the PP until
you have at least 2,000 and then spend them all on one character until you get
the trophy to pop up. You can reload your game afterwards, so you don't waste
the points. Raizen would be ideal for this, as he would require the least PP.

( THE NEWBIE )
'------------'
TYPE -- Bronze

You need to survive 35 battles in order to get this trophy. You need to actually
finish the battle and not run away, as running away will not count that battle.

.-------------.
( THE PACKRAT )
'-------------'
TYPE -- Gold

This is definitely the toughest of the collection trophies, as there are a total
of 663 items for you to register in the encyclopedia.

1-17 -- Healing items
18-29 -- Stat enhancements
30 -- Serum Powder
31-45 -- Items that can be gotten from a lot of enemies
46-59 -- Items that can be synthesized
60-264 -- Unique items dropped by enemies
265-469 -- Items gotten by converting weapons, armors & accessories
470-521 -- Unique items from titles
522-589 -- Synth Recipes (chests in dungeons, Item store, TP Store, titles)
590-600 -- Arcane Books (Item Shop, TP Store, titles)
601-630 -- Arcane Tomes (gotten from non-story events)
631-663 -- Secret Albums (all from titles)

.------------.
( THE PATRON )
'------------'
TYPE -- Silver

You need to unlock all of the art in the Gallery section. To get all of these,
you need to unlock all of the costumes for the females (don't need to equip),
as well as get all of the Secret Albums (all of which are gotten from specific
titles).

.---------------.
( THE SKYWALKER )
'---------------'
TYPE -- Silver

You need to reach 300 BASE AGI with any character. These aren't as bad as you
think, as long as you don't spend any of them. Basically, hoard the PP until
you have at least 2,000 and then spend them all on one character until you get
the trophy to pop up. You can reload your game afterwards, so you don't waste
the points. Lazarus would be ideal for this, as he would require the least PP.

.-------------.
( THE STALKER )
'-------------'
TYPE -- Silver

You need to unlock all of the character profiles (look under Profiles) to unlock
this trophy, which are unlocked as the characters join your party. You do not
need every single character to join your party, as you would need to get to the
post-game to get some of the characters to join. Rather, you will fill up those
missing spots once you beat the main story. When you reload the save in the
post-game, simply access the Profiles section and the trophy should pop up.

.-----------------.
( THE WORLD CHAMP )
'-----------------'
TYPE -- Silver

You need to exceed 1,000,000 damage in a combo in a single battle. If you follow
the strategy for The Agressor trophy and have enough ATK on your three
characters, then you should also get this trophy after the battle ends.

Q) When was Cross Edge released?
A) It was released in the US on May 25, 2009 and published by Nippon Ichi
   America.

Q) How come I don't have the titles needed to unlock the True Ending path?
A) You did something wrong, plain and simple. You can check to see if you have
the titles unlocked as soon as you gain control of York after the prison
   break sequence is finished.

Q) Who is the best team to use?
A) That is your opinion on who to use. The best team is one that combos well.
One of my favorites, right now, is Lazarus, Felicia, York and Vivi. They are
able to go up to A Thousand Deaths, plus a few low-tier magical combos, too.
