Question from kellerium

After reaching level 60, can I still play my Raven character?

I've read that if you reach lvl 60, you can be another character like one from Valor or S.V.E.R. but when I choose one of them, willI still be able to play with my lvl 60 Raven character?

to bmpbrother22, It's still not clear to meXD I will try to explain what my problem is. when I reach lvl 60 with my current raven character, I can choose to start over with a Valor character right, now if I do that will I lose my raven character or will I be able to choose which characterI want t play with at the beginning of the game. for example: YAAY I'm level 60! now I will play with a S.V.E.R character!, oh wait, then my lvl 60 Raven will dissapear :(
that example is the last thing I want to happen 'cause then I've reached lvl 60 all for nothing.
If the example is not what will happen, an I can choose between my lvl 60 and my new character, then I will be very happy

Thank's everybody for your feedback! it's all very clear to me now!
I think it is rather stupid though, when you start the game you have to ''choose'' your profile, if you only can have 1 char. at a time why would you have to choose? they didn't think about that when making the game.
if anybody plays in the raven team and is interested in adding me, go ahead! my online ID is:

If you choose to do veteran mode you will not be able to use your raven character anymore. You could do veterancy in raven if you just wanna play with them, but your levels start over. Also if you do veteran mode you get a 10% exp bonus.

the MAG Blog posted an informational about the Veteran mode ( blog.mag.com/blog/2010/01/veteran-mode-an-explanation/ )

Basically what happens is, you old Char goes away and you get a fresh new one to play with... but your stats, ribbons, medals, and skill points all stay. then you get a 10% bump in EX per match. however this bump only gets applied at the end of the match.

if you switch PMCs you will also lose your clan affiliation, however if you stick with Raven (my team btw, GO RAVEN!) you stick with your clan.

so yes, veteran mode deletes your old Char, but you get small boosts and can get to lvl 60 faster

I also have another question for this:
If you get level 60 for all PMCs, can you go back to play any PMC with a level 60 character? I don't know if anyone has gone that far yet though. Would you also get another XP boost after the second or third level 60 max out?

@ phongvdoan: No, if you go back to a PMC later, you still start out at lvl 1. Also, you do not recieve any extra Xp bonuses outside of the initial 10%

No matter what you do, if you reach level 60 and decide to Vet, you will lose the character to oblivion. Forever. And ever. And ever.

After you reach level 60 with any PMC you have the choice to become a Veteran. One you go veteran you can choose any PMC, you start out at Level 1 again, and you have to do everything all over again. It's a very similar concept to Prestige Levels in Modern Warfare 2.

I would go to veteran mode for the bonus expierence after every game.
Now should you stay with Raven?..if you want to but S.V.E.R. is by far the best place to be. They have a easier place to defend in both sabotage and Domination, and the ppl on S.V.E.R. actually know what the F%#$ to do! In my opinion Valor(mostly) and Raven have alot more dumba$$e$ than S.V.E.R.

When you go into Veteran mode you lose your character completely but you have a Veteran bonus after every match that might make it faster to reach lvl 60 than before, you also can stay at your current faction or move to any other.

And No, you cannot have more than one character. The old one will disappear after Veteran mode
