Is there any point to get collectors edition?
I can get collectors edition for only 5$ more than normal one, but I heard the collectors edition armor is free DLC nowadays. so will I just throw 5 bucks for a fancy box?

Pretty much. The armor you get with Collectors has been made free as well as a whole game mode and set of weapons and maps. Save yourself some money and grab the original game used for about $5 or download it from PSN for around $30.
