HELP, LPB2 data/profile console transfer?

Omg HELP ME SOMEONE!

I've aced every level in LBP and LBP2. I've bought countless peices of DLC.

I just bought a new playstation and I transfered all my data using the "data transfer utility". Now when I toss LBP2 into the console it completely re-installs the game and leads me into the prologue.

I LOST EVERYTHING, I checked "savedata" and apparently (on both my consoles) there is only 1 "LBP save", however multiple "gamedata" saves under my console profiles. Example: "LBP2 george profile", "LBP2 dave profile".

The "gamedata" that contains all my saves exist however because my username has changed I cannot access the content. I lost all my stages, all my costumes everything!

PLEASE HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS?!!! THIS IS A HUGE FLAW SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME, HOW CAN I RETRIEVE ANOTHER PROFILE (OLDER PROFILE) AND MERGE IT INTO MY NEW USER NAME.

WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND IS THE OLD PROFILE AND MY NEW PROFILE BOTH HAVE THE SAME PSN ACCOUNT HOWEVER I STILL CANNOT ACCESS THE CONTENT.

I've had the same problem, I can see my profile file in my game data utility folder, but when ever i boot up the game I can't access it, cant import it.
What can I do

no it does not work that way, you should use "Backup" save data to transfer... if you still have the old ps3 (IDK will this work cuz I only got 1) re transfer it back and hope the user is still there, load the game and back up the file into a Flash Drive or something/
