How to complete Invitational Event - Bugatti Veyron?

  1. I'm having problems on completing this race. The driving difficulty (not AI) I've set is Experienced mode. Please provide me some insightful tips and hints for this race. Anything other than telling me to reduce the difficulty, because I really want to challenge difficulty.

    Thank you all!

  2. Clarification Request::
    What is it exactly you are having trouble with?

    Is it that the AI are too fast for you to really compete, or are you finding the Veyron's huge power a little too difficult to handle?

    If it's the handling, I reccomend changing your control sensitivities in the options menu. I had to do this myself, and now I find that a lot of the cars feel more firm and planted on the track.

    I'd put the Acceleration and Braking deadzones to 0% and put the steering deadzone to 20-25%

    Then put the sensitivities for them all to either 100 or 0 % whichever works best for you. I myself have them on 100%

  1. Ok Here is how you do it. Being that Nuremburg is the longest track in the world and one of the hardest to race on it can be hard for your first try. Don't give up just because you cant beat it. i usually speed up keep up with the pack and brake sometimes where they don't, where i know it isn't nesccacary. So just take your time its a long race oh and all you really have to do if someone is giving you a hard time when you try to pass them just hit them in one of the four corners of the car and it should spin them or at least make them let you pass. Another good way is to drop back then floor it! hit them in the back and sometimes they will lift up and fly right over you and you go right by them. and one more thing make sure to shift to seventh gear on the straight away and be careful at the turn in the middle of the straightaway as you may fly of the track.

  2. I stay behind the pack and give chase to them, especially after the green lights. Chances are, some CPU cars'll spin out, taking you out with them if you're in the middle of the pack. I draft and attempt an overtake at the straights. Also, the Veyron has a tendency to understeer. Be mindful of this and try to brake before you turn, and not turning & braking simultaneously.

  3. Overtake 'em one by one.
    Just remember that the Veyron is a 2-tonne, 1000 bhp monster that goes madness everytime you brake too late or accellerate too early. You'll be better to make a clear race, avoiding collisions and following the driving path: you'll have enough kilometers to get the first place even whitout an outstanding start.

    Oh, and you shall also practise a bit on the 'schleife whit the Veyron: if you'll be able to drive on the last corners and on the Karousel faster than the IA, you'll win the race hands down.

  4. You will probably have to do this race twice to get all the stars
    in the first race focus on beating the rest dont worry about going off track or hitting other cars
    in the second race let the rest of the cars set off then just take it nice and slow and try not to go off course.

  5. Some hints that helped me win is get a good start (which is get rpm meter n green when time to start the race) and cut one corner just one and do dirty overtakes and try and find a way to get away from any brake assists and give it full speed on the corners and straight aways. GOOD LUCK =)
