- INTROCUTION [INTR]
The following is an in-depth guide to collecting all of the trophies in the
game, 'Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time'.
NOTE: Just as a fair warning, the descriptions of the trophies in this game
can and will contain spoilers. You have been warned.
==============================================================================
- NOTES [NOTE]
Before you begin the game and start collecting your trophies, here are some
tips that should help you get them all efficiently and quickly:
1) Play on Hard Difficulty: You will get a trophy for completing the game on
Casual, Medium and Hard. Completing the game on Hard first will allow you to
get all three at the same time, and this game will not give you too much
trouble, even if you are new to the series. (NOTE: Difficulties are suited for
Hard Difficulty)
2) Go Back in Time: When you finish the game, you will be given the
opportunity to go back in time, do it. There are trophies you can collect
by doing this that you can't obtain in a regular playthrough.

88 MPH (Hidden/Bronze) [BT06]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Defeat General Azimuth and save the universe.
DIFFICULTY: * * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: You will receive this trophy after you defeat General Azimuth
in the final battle. This not a hard fight. However, Azimuth
has A LOT of health which makes for a pretty long battle.
Also, there are no checkpoints in this fight - one death means
you have start the fight all over again.
The bright side to this fight is that it's very forgiving as
Azimuth is actually really weak compared to all of the other
bosses you have come across so far. Here are some tips that
will ensure your success in this battle:
- RESERVE YOUR BEST WEAPONS: As I mentioned before, this is a
long fight so you'll want to save your best weapons for
last, especially considering they won't give you any ammo
during the fight. When you get to the point when the arena
starts to heavily quake, bring out the big guns: RYNO V (if
you have it)
- STAY IN THE MIDDLE: Make staying in the middle a priority
because as the battle goes on, more and more of the glass
will break, meaning more areas to kill yourself. The middle
is the only area that won't break so it's a good safe-zone
for you.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Leave No Lombax Behind (Hidden/Bronze) [BT07]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Save General Azimuth from Lord Vorselon's clutches.
DIFFICULTY: * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: You'll acquire this on your SECOND visit to Lord Vorselon's
ship. Note that you will have to fight Vorselon again, but his
attack patterns are generally the same as when you fought him
the first time. Use your original tactics and this fight, and
the trophy, will be yours.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The General's Pupil (Hidden/Bronze) [BT08]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Master the Hoverboots.
DIFFICULTY: *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: Acquire the Hoverboots and complete all of the training
courses in order to achieve this trophy. You shouldn't have
much trouble with this except for, possibly, the final test.
Other than that, a pretty easy trophy.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Saviour of Axiom City (Hidden/Bronze) [BT09]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Destroy the VX-99.
DIFFICULTY: * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: As the description states, destroy the VX-99 located in Axiom
City in order to get this trophy. This fight has two
phases:
1) In this phase you'll want to dodge the lasers until they
stop and then use the bolt crank at the top of each arc.
Rinse and repeat until all the bolts are turned. Make sure
you immediately get off an arc once you destroy it as they
will fall off. When the arcs are gone you'll return to
solid ground. Take out the enemies and then grab on to
Azimuth's ship and head back to the VX-99 for the second
phase of the fight.
2) At the start of this phase, you'll have to take out all of
the clamps to destroy the VX-99's protective shield. The
lasers here are pretty fast so having Mr. Zurkon out will
work wonders. His attacks aren't too bad when the shield is
gone. His missiles can be easily be avoided by constantly
strafing and keep jumping to avoid the lasers on the
ground. When his health hits zero, hop on Azimuth's ship
before time runs out and the battle is yours.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Apogee Explorer (Hidden/Bronze) [BT10]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Find the Obsidian Eye.
DIFFICULTY: * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: Complete all of the missions in Krell Canyon, Planet
Lumos and enter the door that opens afterward. After the
cutscenes that follow, you'll get this trophy.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Paradox Hero (Hidden/Bronze) [BT11]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Confront Dr. Nefarious in the past.
DIFFICULTY: * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: Another story-based mission which is acquired on the Tombli
Outpost. Plant three seeds in the soil in the past, then
return to the present. Ride the newly grown vines to get some
oil for the Omnisoaker. Return to the present again and use
oil for the crank which will fix the bridge. Watch the scenes
that follow and the trophy will appear afterward.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Somebody Called for Backup? (Hidden/Bronze) [BT12]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Stop the Agorians from destroying Gimlick Valley.
DIFFICULTY: * * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: You'll get this trophy after finishing Gimlick Valley in the
past. It's a usual war here and will end in boss battle with
Argos. He's one of the more difficult bosses in the game.
Here are some tips to help you:
- He has a fast (and pretty accurate) laser attack. Avoid it
on the ground. It seems to be more likely to hit if you jump
while dodging it.
- Short-range weapons are pretty much useless in this battle
as Argos is in a ship the entire time, so use the best long-
range weapons at your disposal (ex. Buzz Blades, Negotiator,
Mr. Zurkon).
- Sometimes, enemies will appear on the battlefield, so throw
some Tesla Spikes out so they won't bother you while
fighting Argos.
When the fight ends, and you watch the scenes, return to the
present to receive your trophy and marvel at your awesome
monument.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Just Like Old Times (Hidden/Bronze) [BT13]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Reunite with Clank.
DIFFICULTY: * * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: This trophy will be obtained in the Valkyrie Citadel,
Vadpedia. The only thing that stands in your way is
Cassiopeia, the final Valkyrie. Here are some tips to help you
in that fight.
- Keep the Swingshot as your equipped gadget as you will be
using it an awful lot.
- Buzz Blades are very effective against her.
- As always, Mr. Zurkon is a big help.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Party Crasher (Hidden/Bronze) [BT14]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Destroy Dr. Nefarious' armada.
DIFFICULTY: *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: Use Nefarious' Hypernova Defence Laser to destroy his ships
and this trophy is yours.
First you'll have to destroy asteroids as practise until
you automatically leave the machine. Then call Lawrence and
tell him to land the fleet. Then go up to the Terrachnoid
and get rid of him (Press 'Circle') then take control of the
defence laser. Destroy all of the ships and this trophy is
yours. Simple, Easy, Fun.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Revenge of the Squishy (Hidden/Bronze) [BT15]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Defeat Dr. Nefarious.
DIFFICULTY: * * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: Follow the description's orders and defeat Dr. Nefarious to
get this trophy. Here's a breakdown of his phases:
1) The eyes on the space station wall you off while Nefarious
uses various attacks (Grenades, Laser Attack) and will also
sick UFOs on you later in the fight. Soon he will switch to
his second attack phase.
2) He will activate a defence laser that will chase you
around the arena. Use you Hoverboots to escape it and get
as many Boost Pads as you can. Jump over the electrical
walls Nefarious throws at you. Eventually the laser will
start to destroy the arena you've been fighting on. Jump
the platforms and follow the path to the ship ahead and
the final phase begins.
3) This is where the fight can be tricky. Lawrence sits
untouchable in the middle of the arena firing a slow, but
powerful laser. Nefarious will still attack at this time,
so watch him as well as the positioning of the laser. When
Nefarious' health starts to get really low, Lawrence will
activate a moving electric field on the ground as well as
his previous laser. Keep strafing to avoid Lawrence and
Nefarious' attacks and you should be fine.
During the cutscene that follows the fight, this trophy will
be yours.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Insomniac (Hidden/Bronze) [BT16]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Visit the Insomniac Museum.
DIFFICULTY: *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: You will have access to the Insomniac Museum as soon as you
vanquish Lord Vorselon after going back in time (See [XXXX]
for info on the final Vorselon boss fight). Simply fly to
the Insomniac Museum and you'll soon have the trophy. You
don't have do anything there, but you might as well. :)
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
My Blaster Runs Really, Really Hot (Bronze) [BT17]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Score 10,000 points in "My Blaster Runs Hot"
DIFFICULTY: * * * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: Most people who play this game would argue that this is the
toughest trophy in the game. "My Blaster Runs Hot" is located
in the lobby of the Agorian Battleplex; it's the last arcade
machine to the right, just before the stairs. Here are some
things you should know about how this game works:
- You start with three lives (1-Ups can randomly spawn)
- Point multipliers can culminate if you can quickly take
out multiple enemies. You'll need to be very fast because
the multiplier won't stay for long.
- When going for the trophy, I do not recommend playing
two-player. This is because both players get separate scores
and the game does not combine them at the end.
And here are some tips to help you build a high score quickly.
- On the first wave, enemies will only come out of the door at
the top. Move directly in front of it and fire at will.
If you're lucky, you should get a multiplier going for the
entire wave and get around 1,500 points in a single wave,
which can be a big help on your way to 10,000 points.
- Save as many civilians as you can. They are worth 100 points
a piece and in a game like this, every point counts. Don't
depend on civilians to get the target score though. At times
they can be clustered in a field of enemies, and sometimes
it's better to let them die than to risk losing a life.
- Overheating can be helpful. When you overheat, you can fire
a single, powerful laser attack which can take out multiple
enemies at a time. Keep in mind that you can't shoot again
until your gun temperature reverts to normal again.
- You will eventually come across enemies that explode when
you get close to them. Use them to your advantage by getting
them to explode near other enemies and get big points. Keep
in mind you must shoot the bomb in order to get the points.
Also... don't get hit in the blast!
- Go for pickups whenever you can. They will give you boosts
such as a temporary stronger gun, invincibility, or even an
extra life. Like with civilians, don't for a pickup if you
risk getting killed.
Getting this trophy will take patience, persistence, and a lot
of attempts! Keep at it, and you will eventually have this
hard earned trophy... and never want to play this stupid
mini-game ever again. :P
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Q-Force Cadet (Bronze) [BT18]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Complete the game on Casual
DIFFICULTY: *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: This trophy will be acquired at the same time as "Q-Force
Hero" and "Q-Force Champion" if you play on Hard difficulty.
Besides, if you feel the need to play on Casual, you should
be ashamed of yourself. :)
See [XXXX] for more information on this trophy.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Bronze Champion (Bronze) [BT19]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Win the Bronze Tournament.
DIFFICULTY: *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: You'll get this trophy after you complete the Bronze
Tournament in the Agorian Battleplex. You shouldn't have much
trouble at all completing this Tournament. The challenges are
fairly easy and can be completed with the equipment you
currently have.
NOTE: If you have trouble with any of the tournaments, you can
always come back at a later time when you have some
better equipment.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Silver Champion (Bronze) [BT20]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Win the Silver Tournament.
DIFFICULTY: *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: You'll get this trophy after you complete the Silver
Tournament in the Agorian Battleplex. Like the Bronze
Tournament, this one shouldn't be too overwhelming for you.
NOTE: If you have trouble with any of the tournaments, you can

Gold Champion (Bronze) [BT21]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Win the Gold Tournament.
DIFFICULTY: * * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: You'll get this trophy after you complete the Gold Tournament
in the Agorian Battleplex. Now I would recommend you hold
off on this Tournament until you have some better equipment
or better yet, beat the game and go back in time with the
weapons you have then.
NOTE: If you have trouble with any of the tournaments, you can
always come back at a later time when you have some
better equipment.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Raritanium Champion (Bronze) [BT22]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Win the Raritanium Tournament.
DIFFICULTY: * * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: You'll get this trophy after you complete the Raritanium
Tournament in the Agorian Battleplex. Just like for the Gold
Tournament, wait until your weapons have gotten stronger. It
will make your life a lot easier.
NOTE: If you have trouble with any of the tournaments, you can
always come back at a later time when you have some
better equipment.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Fastoon Warrior (Bronze) [BT23]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Upgrade one weapon to Level 5.
DIFFICULTY: *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: Very easy one to get. Just play through the game as usual and
eventually you'll have a weapon at Level 5. You'll get this
faster than you think.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

HOW TO ACHIEVE: See [GT03] for information on this trophy.
==============================================================================
SILVER TROPHIES (6 trophies)
Q-Force Hero (Silver) [ST01]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Complete the game on Medium.
DIFFICULTY: * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: This trophy will be acquired at the same time as "Q-Force
Cadet" and "Q-Force Champion" if you play on Hard difficulty.
See [GT04] for more information on this trophy.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Zoni Collector (Silver) [ST02]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Collect all Zoni.
DIFFICULTY: * * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: As the description says, collect all of the Zoni to get this
trophy. Not very difficult, but it can be time consuming.
When you complete the Raritanium Tournament, you will get a
Treasure Map, which will show the location of all Zoni, Gold
Bolts, Constructo Mods, and RYNO V schematics (There's no
trophy for the RYNO V, but I'm just saying).
The Zoni are the easiest to get of the collectibles to find
because they are not deeply hidden for the most part. Simply
chase them when you see them until they stop, then hit them
with your Wrench. For the ones that don't stop, get it close
and throw your Wrench at them.
The following is a breakdown of the amount of Zoni in each
sector. There are 40 in total:
- - - - - - - - - - - -
Phylax Sector: 6
Vela Sector: 10
Korthros Sector: 14
Bernilius Sector: 7
Corvus Sector: 3
- - - - - - - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Bolt Collector (Silver) [ST03]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Collect all Gold Bolts.
DIFFICULTY: * * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: Like it says above, collect all of the Gold Bolts to get this
trophy. Not unlike the Zoni, it's not a hard trophy, but it
will take some time.
When you complete the Raritanium Tournament, you will get a
Treasure Map, which will show the location of all Zoni, Gold
Bolts, Constructo Mods, and RYNO V schematics (No trophy for
it -- why is that?).
I recommend getting the Treasure Map before going Gold Bolt
hunting. It's going to be so much easier to find them because
you'll know where to look.
The following is a breakdown of the amount of Gold Bolts in
each sector. There are 40 in total:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Phylax Sector: 6
Vela Sector: 9
Korthros Sector: 9
Bernilius Sector: 5
Corvus Sector: 3
The Great Clock, Sector One: 1
The Great Clock, Sector Two: 2
The Great Clock, Sector Three: 2
The Great Clock, Sector Four: 3

The Gunsmith (Silver) [ST04]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Collect all Constructo-Mods.
DIFFICULTY: * * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: As shown in the description, collect all of the Constructo-
Mods to get this trophy. A fairly time-consuming trophy.
When you complete the Raritanium Tournament, you will get a
Treasure Map, which will show the location of all Zoni, Gold
Bolts, Constructo Mods, and RYNO V schematics (I'm just going
to keep asking for the whereabouts of this trophy :P).
The following is a breakdown of the amount of Constructo-Mods
in each sector. There are 21 in total:
- - - - - - - - - - - -
Phylax Sector: 2
Vela Sector: 4
Korthros Sector: 10
Bernilius Sector: 4
Corvus Sector: 1

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The Samaritan (Silver) [ST05]

DESCRIPTION: Complete all space missions.
DIFFICULTY: * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: Space mission are performed while flying in-between planets
and moons. They are marked by a yellow triangle or a green
square. They are all pretty simple and shouldn't give too much
problems.
The game won't tell you how many you have/need, but they are
easy to find.

GOLD TROPHIES (5 trophies)
Terraklon Assassin (Hidden/Gold) [GT01]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Vanquish Lord Vorselon
DIFFICULTY: * * on Casual; * * * * * on Hard/Hardcore
HOW TO ACHIEVE: Before I explain this trophy you will need the following
before you can go tackle Vorselon:
- Collect all Zoni. See [ST02]
- Complete the game on any difficulty. See [GT04]
Vorselon's ship will appear in the Corvus Sector. After you
beat the game, go back in time and fly to his ship to reach
this boss fight.
Now on Hard mode, Vorselon will give you a run for your money
and thoroughly kick your ass. The good news is, now that you
(hopefully) beat the game on Hard, there's no reason to stay
on Hard difficulty because this trophy does not restrict
difficulty. Switch to Casual for the sake of this trophy, but
if you really feel like challenging yourself, go for it:)
A few tips for fighting Vorselon:
- Bring the RYNO V! It will be a major help in this fight.
- Keep Mr. Zurkon out at all times! Like always in this game,
Zurkon is an infinitely valuable battle companion.
- Keep moving/strafing!

DESCRIPTION: Purchase all GrummelNet weapons.
DIFFICULTY: * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: Pretty self-explanatory. Buy all of the GrummelNet weapons to
get this trophy. You should be able to do this by the time you
reach the final battle. The following is everything you need
to know about purchasing the GrummelNet weapons.
NOTE: If you happen to have a save file from 'Ratchet & Clank
Future: Tools of Destruction', you will be able to get all of
the weapons that originated from that game at a discount.

Thrifty (Gold) [GT03]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Collect 1,000,000 bolts.
DIFFICULTY: * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: There isn't much to explain here; just collect 1,000,000
bolts and this trophy is yours. You'll reach this amount in a
single playthrough (I got it in the middle of the grind chase
right before the final battle).
NOTE: This is not a culminative total, meaning you don't have
to hoard your bolts to get this trophy; the game counts the
total for you.

Q-Force Champion (Gold) [GT04]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Complete the game on Hard.
DIFFICULTY: * * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: Beat the game on Hard difficulty to get this trophy. If you
play on Hard on your first run through the game you will aslo
get the 'Q-Force Cadet and 'Q-Force Hero' trophies at the
same time (Hence, why I stress to play on Hard).

Glutton for Punishment (Gold) [GT05]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DESCRIPTION: Complete a Challenge Mode playthrough.
DIFFICULTY: * *
HOW TO ACHIEVE: After you complete the game on any difficulty, you will unlock
Challenge Mode. It's basically New Game+ as you maintain
everything from your first playthrough (weapons and their
levels, Nanotech, bolts, Skill Points, etc). Just beat the
game again to get the trophy.
The cool thing about it is, there's no restriction on
difficulty (even though you unlock Hardcore mode), so you can
just plow through the game on Casual to quickly get the
trophy. :)
