I want to note that I made this myself from my own personal knowledge of the game. No other information was obtained from any other source for the use of this FAQ. I wanted to make a quick, simple, and understandable FAQ for GAMEFAQS.COM that would explain how to get trophies in the quickest and the most simple fashion for those of you who just want a platinum trophy out of this game. While it is a great game, lets face it, we all know people play games just for the trophies :P I hope you enjoy the FAQ. Enjoy! abcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxyza ================================================================ [0001] OPENING INFORMATION ================================================================ To make this as easy as you can possibly manage (except for 1 trophy anyway) set up your Game with the following settings. 1) Main Menu > Options > Gameplay Options > Match Options: Difficulty=Easy. Momentum Bar Charge Speed = FAST. Leave STAMNA SYSTEM OFF! Make sure you save the settings. 2) While in Match Options, select Gameplay Balance Options then A.I. Reversal Balancing. Set ALL of the bars to the lowest setting possible. This makes the enemy not counter you at all. Save the settings when done. 3) While STILL at Gameplay Balancing Options. Go to Damage Balancing. Set ALL bars to The HIGHEST possible option settings. Save when done. 4) While STILL at Gameplay Balancing Options. Go to Game Balancing. Set all the bars to The EASIEST option setting. Save when done. You are now set to destroy everything and anything in your path. Enjoy the destruction! Additionally, so you are aware, there are 26 Trophies for this game. 5 Bronze, 15 Silver, 5 Gold, and 1 Platinum. Yes, there are TONS of Silver trophies that are INSANELY Easy!!! abcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxyza ================================================================ [0B00] BRONZE TROPHIES (5 total) ================================================================ This is a compilation of all the bronze trophies in the game. [0B01] Story Designer: “Create An ORIGINAL story using WWE Story Designer Mode. Easiest way to get this is: Main Menu > WWE Story Designer > NEW > Select the first day available, select edit, press X to add moment, just pick scene, then go to the accept button and push X on it. Push circle to back out after you accepted the pointless bit of story you just added, your now back at the main create a story place (the calendar) push Square, and save story. Push Square again and select Finish story. Select the saved file. Voila. You have this easy trophy [0B02] An Original Design: Create an original image using the PAINT TOOL. Very simple, From the main menu > Create Modes > Create a WWE Superstar > Paint Tool. Select an empty spot making a new blank slate for your design. Pick EITHER pixel size. Put a dot on the blank slate. Push L2 to the TOOL menu, using the left Analog stick, go to save. Save the file. You now have a pointless design, and a bronze trophy! [0B03] Face on the Big Screen: Convert a Highlight Reel to an entrance movie. Easy enough. At the main menu, go to Play, pick a match, and Wrestle it. Once finished, go To Highlight Reel (before you exit out of the after match menu). Select ANY clip that it offers from the Highlight Reel and save it (the control prompts appear on screen). Once saved, exit the after match menu to the main menu. Select My WWE > Highlight Reel. Click NEW then Add video clip. Select the Highlight Reel video you saved. Once loaded, go to COMPLETE. Do whatever you want with the cover design. Doesn’t matter. Click Save and Exit. Name it whatever you want. Select a spot to save it in. Back at the Highlight Reel menu, select Create Entrance Movie. Select the File you just saved. Select an empty slot for it to make the new entrance video in. Press the Circle button when prompted. It encodes the clip to be an entrance video. Takes a minute or so. Just like that, you are done! [0B04] Check Out the New Threads. Create ALTERNATE ATTIRE from a WWE superstar and for a created Wrestler. Very Easy to do. First make sure you have a created wrestler. Go to Create A Superstar then Superstar Threads. Select ANY WWE superstar, and select NEW. Change the colors of their threads However you want then click SAVE. Next for the created wrestler. Go to Create a Superstar then click EDIT. Pick your created Superstar. And click EDIT, then original, then COPY, then select Attire 1. After it saved. Click the copied attire and click edit. Change 1 thing about the attire. IE give em glasses. Finalize the change and submit application. It asks “Would you like to save this outfit as an alternate Attire?” Select Yes (obviously). Name it what you want, overwrite attire 1. You get the trophy. Note, you can do these two parts (superstar or created wrestler) in whatever order you wanted. [0B05] New Superstar Initiative: Create a SUPERSTAR in Create a Superstar Mode. If you honestly need instructions here, you fail. But still. At the main menu, go to Create Modes, from there go to Create a Superstar. Do NEW and FROM SCRATCH. Make whatever you want. Save it. Get the trophy. If you needed this tutorial for this trophy, seek help! THAT’S IT FOR THE BRONZES! WOOHOO!! Simple right? abcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxyza ================================================================ [0S00] SILVER TROPHIES (15 total) ================================================================ [0S01] A Showman Like No Other: In CAREER MODE, have 20+ 5 star matches. This is self explanatory. Just beat your easy opponents. Make sure there is no DQ, and brainThe opponent with the ring bell. Make sure you use a few submissions, hit a few finishers.Not a hard trophy to get, just takes a bit to do 20 matches with 5 stars. [0S02] Mickie James Story: Complete Mickie James story in Road to Wrestlemania mode. Just like it says. Make sure you play through twice picking Natalya in one play through and Picking Brian Kendrick in the other. Meet all the “optional” challenges too. If you don’t then replay that match until you fulfill the optional goal. (towards a gold trophy, NothingMore to Collect) [0S03] Edge Story: Complete Edge’s Road to Wrestlemania story. Exactly as it says, beat it. Make sure you ALSO complete EVERY optional goal to get allOf Edges unlocks. (For Nothing More to Collect gold Trophy) [0S04] HBK Story: Complete the HBK Road to Wrestlemania Story. Here we go again, with the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels! Meet ALL optional challenges As you need them for the gold trophy (Nothing More to Collect). Note, in week 10 of HBKs Story, he has to decide to be in a special match type. Reguardless of whether you say YES or NO To this match type you just need to fulfill the requirment he comes up with depending on your response! [0S05] Orton Story: Complete Randy Orton’s Road to Wrestlemania Story. Same as the others with the Viper RKO. Complete all of his optional goals. Once you beat his story mode (pinning and beating Cody Rhodes or Ted DeBiase Jr) you will face their father. Knock him out. After you finish and get the trophy, replay the last match again, but pin the OTHER person (IE if you pinned Cody Rhodes, now pin Ted DeBiase Jr). and knock out his dad. You will Have their dads unlocked, and be that much closer to the Nothing More to Collect GOLD trophy! [0S06] Brand Warfare Story: Complete the Brand Warfare story in Road to Wrestlemania Mode. You play as both HHH and John Cena. Just make sure you meet every single optionalgoal in this Story mode and you will get almost all the rest of the unlocks for Nothing More to Collect GOLD trophy! [0S07] Created Superstar Story: Complete the Create A Superstar story on Road to Wrestlemania. With your own Created Superstar, beat this mode. Make sure, as always, that you meet EVERY optional Goal. Once finished with this story, you should have unlocked THIS trophy and the GOLD trophy Nothing More to Collect!! (if you went in the order of this FAQ anyway lol) [0S08] Developmental Graduate: Complete the Training Checklist. This is a bit tedious but before the main menu where you do the training in ring stuff, you need to do EVERYTHING on the checklist in the Training area. You can use 2 controllers to make this easier When the AI is set to NONE. Makes it much easier. Also, if you have a hard time finding a wrestler Who meets certain criteria (IE Signature Moves) just change somebodies moves around to meet The criteria!! Takes a bit of time, but is actually easy granted annoying. [0S09] Career Growth: Increase the Overall rating of a created superstar to 90 or higher. This isn’t hard. Just do a lot of one on one matches and focus on doing specific areas in each of the Matches (IE hardcore, taunting, finishers, or whatever you need). [0S10] Finisher of the Year Candidate: Create a DIVE finisher and use it in a single player match. Self explanatory. You can figure it out without me… Note, dives are VS STANDING Opponents Only right now for create a finishers. [0S11] Ask Him Ref!: Win 10 matches via submission (single player only) Simple as hell. If you can’t do it give up on the game lol. Easiest match to do it is Submission only Matches. [0S12] Intermediate Technician: Succeed at a cumulative total of 50 reversals (single player only) This is a little tricky, but with the AI turned down, and your reversal abilityturned up, use a Wrestler With high Technique like HBK against somebody with LOWTechnique and focus on reversing their Attacks. You can actually just do 100 in a match lol. [0S13] Ahead Of the Pack: Win as Tentative champion from start to end in a championship Scramble (single player ONLY). This is easy, but its best to do it with its gold counterpart “And STILL Champion”. Here is how. Leave all your other settings the same, but change the game difficulty to LEGEND for one match. Select a 20 minute scramble. Use anexisting champion like Randy Orton, and a bunch of weak opponents. There are 5 slots,2 on top, one in the middle, 2 on bottom. MAKE SURE that you are the CHAMPION, and that you select the champion in the MIDDLE slot and make sure you enter as the NUMBER 1 participant. Make sure that the weakest opponent is 2nd (IE Jesse or Santino Marella). Beat them to death with the ring bell for a minute or two, then pin them for An easy pinfall. From there on, just kill time by beating the hell out of people with the ring bell, and keepavoiding enemies. MAKE SURE that nobody gets a submission or pinfall though. Beating the ref helps. Orton does a clothesline attack when he runs, use this to your advantage and mow down the ref at random times for a good laugh! Once over you get BOTH trophies if you followed this. This will be reposted on the GOLD section for And STILL Champion also. Once done, change the difficulty back to EASY! DON’T FORGET!! Lol [0S14] Shoulders To The Mat: Win 50 matches by pinfall (single player only) Easy as hell. No need to give you an explaination here. [0S15] A Grappling Machine: In ONE match, perform ALL 16 strong grapple moves on your Opponent. (single player only) This is simple, make a checklist so you don’t lose count. R1 + Rstick up: up, right, left, down. R1 + Rstick right: up, right, left, down. R1+ Rstick left: up, right, left, down R1+ Rstick down: up, right, left, down. Get trophy. Never do this again in a match! THAT’S IT FOR SILVERS!!! abcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxyza ================================================================ [0G00] GOLD TROPHIES (5 total) ================================================================ [0G01] 2010 Hall of Fame Nominee: Induct a superstar into the Hall of Fame. This is easy enough. In Career Mode, win 6 different championships. Once you have 6, you can now defend your titles. Defend any title 3 times. I recommend table matches. Viola, you Are now a legend, and in the hall of fame! [0G02] Nothing More To Collect: Unlock ALL the playable characters and bonus items. To start off, if you use ANY cheat code, you still MUST do the event in Road to Wrestlemania Mode that was meant to unlock the item, otherwise this trophy won’t work. There are 33 Unlocks possible (more unlockables then that, but only 33 possible spots to do an unlock) Here is a list of what is unlocked: (note, all are done during Road to Wrestlemania Mode) -Mickie James: 1. Week 2, beat Maryse by pin or submission. -Unlocks EVE 2. Week 6, beat Michelle McCool in under 3 mins. -Unlocks Alt Attire for Mickie James. 3. Week 9, Choose Kendrick over Natalya. week 10 win match with low damage. -unlocks Alternate Attire for Natalya. 4. Week 9, Choose Natalya over Kendrick. week 12 win without a signature or Finishing move being used. -unlocks Alternate Attire for Brian Kendrick. 5. Beat Mickie James Road to Wrestlemania story -Unlocks Trish Stratus. -Edge: 6. Week 2, hit each opponent with a finishing move. -Unlocks Jesse. 7. Royal Rumble, eliminate Mr Kennedy. -Unlocks Alternate Attire for Mr Kennedy. 8. Week 6, win match in under 3 mins -Unlocks alternate attire for Edge. 9. No Way Out, drag Mr Kennedy onto Big Show helping him win. -Unlocks Locker RoomArea for backstage brawls. 10. Week 11, put HHH through an announce table ASAP. -Unlocks Mr McMahon unlock 1 of 3. 11. Beat Edge’s Road to Wrestlemania story. -Unlocks The Rock -HBK 12. Week 4, hit both opponents with sweet chin music (the one where the opponent is on their back and HBK does his stomp in the corner, and they get up and get kicked) -unlocks HBK’s alternate attire. 13. Week 6, Make Jericho Bleed -Unlocks alternate attire for Chris Jericho. 14. Week 8, Win your match in under 4 minutes. -Unlocks alternate attire for JBL. 15. Week 10, accept either “yes” or “no” to the retirement match. If you say “yes” then in week 11 You need to execute 3 double teams with your partner. If you select no, in week 11, have your Partner wrestle the majority of the match, and let HBK sit out the match basically. -Unlocks DX attire for HBK 16. Finish HBK’s Road to Wrestlemania story -Unlocks Interview Room backstage Brawl area. -Orton 17. Week 3, refuse the help of Cody Rhodes in your match that night. Reverse 3 of Batista‘s attacks. -Unlocks the Red and Green “dummies" from Create a Moveset Decent characters at about 90 Overall status! 18. Week 8, No Way Out, RKO Dusty Rhodes -Unlocks alternate attire for Orton. 19. Week 9, don’t use ANY strikes in your match. -Unlocks Cowboy Bob Orton 20. Week 12 RAW, Spend less than 2 minutes as the “legal” man in the ring. -Unlocks the Road to Wrestlemania Event Skip Feature (skip cut scenes) 21. Week 12 Wrestlemania, pin/make to submit Cody Rhodes, KO his dad Dusty Rhodes -Unlocks Dusty Rhodes. 22. Week 12 Wrestlemania, pin/make to submit Ted DeBiase Jr, KO his dad, Ted DeBiase -Unlocks Ted DeBiase, the Million Dollar Man. -Brand Warfare (as John Cena and Triple H) 23. Week 2, win the battle royal with HHH or Cena -Unlocks entrances for DX, Hardy Boyz, And Miz and Morrison tag teams. 24. Week 4, on RAW, with Cena, put Kane through an announce table under 2 min 30 sec. -Unlocks Cena’s Alternate Attire. 25. Week 6, as HHH, win match under 3 minutes. -Unlocks HHH’s DX Alternate Attire. 26. Week 11, win the handicap match as Cena or HHH. -Unlocks alternate attires for Miz And Morrison, aswell as the Dirt Sheet backstage brawl area. 27. At Wrestlemania, win the match. -Unlocks the Champion of Champions belt. -Create A Superstar 28. Week 3, throw each opponent from the ring atleast 1 time. -Unlocks Ezekiel Jackson. 29. Week 5, spend atleast one minute of the match outside the ring -Vince McMahon unlock 1 of 3. 30. Week 6, win the match. -Unlocks Vince’s office in Backstage Brawl. 31. Week 11, in the inferno match, get the temp up to 500 degrees 4+ times. -Unlocks Santino Marella’s Story Designer story… (lame) 32. Week 12, Raw, do a successful dive from the top of the ladder -Unlocks Santino’s street clothes. 33. Week 12 Wrestlemania Win the match, select microphone. -Unlocks Vince McMahon unlock 1 of 3. Now, with ALL of that stuff unlocked, you will have finally, after A LOT of gameplay, Gotten the trophy!!! TAKE A BREAK NOW! SHEESH!! [0G03] Technical Wizardry: Succeed at a cumulative total of 100 reversals (single player only) This is a bit annoying, like the 50 reversals (just do them all in the same match) just use a Wreslter with high Technique like HBK vs. a player with low technique (like a freshlyCreated superstar). Get used to the timing, once you get used to the timing, its easy. [0G04] Royal Rumble Specialist - Win a 30 man Royal Rumble as the number 1 entrant (single player only) Very easy. Just get an opponent close to the ropes, whip them to the ropes, and then mashThe buttons that it tells you to push. Should be able to eliminate each opponent as they come out. [0G05] And STILL Champion: Defend a Title in a Championship Scramble Match on Legend Difficulty (single player only) This is easy, but its best to do it with its silver counterpart “Ahead of the Pack”.
