    :: 5/21/'10 ::
Version 0.5: The first submit, minus the 'FAQs' section, and some
materials in 'Basics' and 'Achievements'. Submitted the same day.

    :: 5/23/'10 ::
Version 0.7: A quite big step. Added 'FAQs' section, reached 'The
Palace Courtyard' part of the game, and completed 'Achievements'.
Changed my mind, I made the Controls List and added the Table of
    Contents.

    :: 5/24/'10 ::
Version 0.8: Updated 'Basics', 'Controls', and 'Walkthrough', of
    course.

    :: 5/28/'10 ::
Version 0.85: A bit additions here and there. Updated the FAQ. Well,
preparing for my School Graduation, so I can't do much to the FAQ.
But tomorrow will be a typing-mania.

    :: 6/6/'10 ::
Version 0.9: A little busy recently, but managed to continue a bit on
the Wlakthrough. There's another complete FAQ on GameFAQs, but well,
I will finish this one too. Added 'Characters' section.

    Introduction - [INT]

Hi, welcome to my Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands FAQ for the
    XBox 360 console.
A little bit info for you, this is my first FAQ for the next-gen
console, as I have just got my X360 a few days before.
And so, I'm really sorry if I mentioned a button without it's proper
    name.
This latest game takes place in between Prince of Persia: The Sands
of Time and Price of Persia: Warrior Within, which in the game
has 7 years gap. There's not much difference in the game, for those
who have played the previous games should be familiar with the game.
Well, all except the elements power and some other aspects. We'll
    get it later.

And now, let's get to the adventure...

    Basics - [BSC]
    &%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&

There's not much to say here, all the game basics are similar to
    the previous games.

    - There are no fancy fountains to heal or to save the game now. The
game saves automatically, while to replenish health...
    - Vases, Boxes, etc. contain orbs that will replenish your health
(Red Orbs), and Magic (Blue Orbs). Destroy them in case of dying.
NOTE: A Blue Orb replenish 1 Magic Slot.
    - You can't block in this game, you know. But don't be afraid, The
Prince here is fiercer and tougher, multiple enemies won't be so
much problem. And therefore, use your Dodge effectively.
    - There are some Sarchopagus in this game, each contains Health,
Magic, and the most important, Experience Points, too.
    - Experience Points were gained from killing enemies, or breaking
sarcophagus as I stated above. Once the XP Points reach the number
required (See your top right on screen), it will give you 1 Upgrade
    Point.
    - POWER ATTACKS are useful during ambush, as charging one attack can
    take multiple enemies down.

    Frequently Asked Questions - [FAQ]
    &%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&%&

Q: Is this game related to the movie?
A: This game has no relation to the movie but the close release date,
which we can call as to-boost-selling.. Or promotion.

Q: Is this game open-world or linear?
A: Unlike Prince of Persia: Warrior Within or Prince of Persia '08,
which has quite open-world system, this game is linear. Specifically,
the environments look a lot like Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones.

P.S: This section will be expanded if I find good questions later.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!>>>>>>>>>>> SPOILERS HERE <<<<<<<<<<<<!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    >> The Prince <<

The same unnamed protagonist from The Sands of Time. He's on the
visit to his brother's kingdom to study alongside his brother, Malik,
where he found the kingdom is under attack.
Malik told him that in the kingdom lives King Solomon's Army, which
he believes to be able to defend his kingdom from destruction. Malik
then give The Prince half of a Medallion - the key to release
Solomon's Army, and also which gives The Prince the Elemental Powers.
However, Malik released King Solomon's army - a group of Undead
beings - which releasing along with it an Evil Ifrit (Djinn) named
    Ratash.
The Prince later learns from Razia, a djinn, that the only way to
stop the chaos is by merge the seal - the Medallion - into one again.
Learning this, he try to rejoin with Malik to get the other half,
only to be rejected by Malik.
Later, he and Malik defeat Ratash, however, the thirst of power that
Malik has leads him to absorb Ratash's power, and eventually become
    Ratash himself.
The Prince learns from Razia that the only way to defeat Ratash is
by getting an ancient sword held in a djinn city. He gets the sword,
and ultimately defeats Ratash/Malik in the end.

    >> Malik <<

He is the Brother of The Prince. Malik has a great pride and thirst
    of glory and power.
At the start of the game, his kingdom is under attack by an unknown
nation. Seeing his kingdom in the hands of destruction, Malik
released Solomon's Army, which he believes able to save his kingdom.
However, along with the army, an evil Ifrit was released, too.
As the game progress, he and his brother defeat Ratash. However, as
he delivers the final blow to Ratash, he absorbs the power of Ratash,
and finally become Ratash himself. As the game progress later, Malik
(as Ratash) grows stronger and transforms into a giant, monstrous
Ratash, only to be defeated by his brother. At the end of the game,
he returns into his human form, and dies in The Prince's hands.
Before his death, he is sorry to not believing The Prince's words,
and tells The Prince to tell their father, that The Prince will be a
mighty as a leader as King Solomon himself.

    >> Razia <<

A queen of one of the tribes of the Djinn, Razia has stayed in the
city for centuries; her magic protects the reservoir that keeps it an
oasis in the desert. She remembers the army and was there when it
was sealed away. When she realizes what has happened, she appears to
help the Prince while partly blaming him for letting Malik release
the army in the first place.

From the beam, move back to another series of beam. Walk to the left
beam, and run up the wall to hit the button. Do the same thing on the
right button, and the gate in front of you will be opened. Jump to
the next beam then hit the button to trigger another scene.

Jump back to the platform, then enter the door on your left. Walk to
the beam then jump to a ledge. Move right, then run from the edge to
the bricks. Walk along, then run on the wall to another platform.
Enter the door, then run on the right wall then jump to the bricks
on the left. Move a bit, then run on the wall to jump to the other
    side.

    # Press [Y] to kick an enemy's shield away #

Defeat the 2 soldiers, this time you must kick their shield out
before attacking them. Then open the door using the button on the
    left. Enter the door.

    # You can chain regular attacks and POWER ATTACKS together up to 5
    atacks #

Follow the passage then turn left to be ambushed by soldiers. Defeat
them all with all your skills. After that, turn right (From the
Ambush point) to a button, then backtrack to the opened door. Enter
it. Walk along, then run on the wall to reach the bricks. Move, then
run on the next wall to reach the platform. Enter the next area
through the collapsed wall. Follow the passageway, to the room with
    columns.

    # Press [A] to jump on a column #

    # Use [Control Stick Left] to move around #

Climb the far right column (The lower one), then jump to the opposite
column. Climb up, then jump to the platform on your left. Watch the
    scene.

Jump to the column on your right. Jump to another column to the
platform. Climb the next column there, then jump to the higher
column. Jump to the opposite platform. Defeat the guards there, then
turn left to run on the wall. Jump at the end to the column, then use
the columns to reach the banner at the far right. Follow the hall
toward the stairs for another battle. If you need health, there are
some vases that contain Health on the right side of the hall. After
the death of all soldiers, you'll brought to a cutscene.

On the left side of the closed door are bricks. Climb them up, then
jump to the column behind. Well no need to tell, use the columns to
reach the platform on your right.

    # Press [A] to jump to the pole #

    # Push [Control Stick Left] to swing. Press [A] to jump away #

You know what to do. From the next platform, move to (The Prince's)
right, then jump to another pole. Jump from pole to pole to another
platform. Turn right, then run on the wall to reach another pole.
Swing away to the small platform, then jump again to reach a banner.

    The Treasure Vaults

    Walk down to a beam.

    # Jump to the wall, then hold [Right Trigger] to wallrun up #

Do as the tutorial said. Walk towards the edge, then drop down. O-o,
golds! Walk to the left, then run up the wall and jump to reach a
pole opposing the wall. Swing from pole to pole to the high platform.
Follow the path, then jump to another pole, jump to the wall, then
run up. Walk forward, then jump from wall to wall to reach the top
(What Prince of Persia is without this wall-to-wall?). From the
platform, run on the left wall to a banner. Follow the passage, then
hang on the railing, then jump to the banner behind. Walk down, then
from the edge, run on the left wall, then jump from wall to wall to
reach the higher platform. Turn right for a scene.

No need to say, take all these robbers. After that, walk toward the
far right to a bronze cage. Climb it up. From the cage, jump to the
column on your left, jump to the pole, then jump to another column.
Jump to the right column, then to the platfrom behind it. Follow the
passage to jump to another pole. Swing to the next pole, then change
direction to reach the upper pole. Continue jumping to the platform.
Turn left, then jump to the switch-pole. Enter the door. Walk down,
    and then a scene.

Run forward, then run on the wall through the collapsed floor. Turn
left, then jump over the gap. Turn right, and run on the wall over
another gap. Follow the path, run over the gap, then fall down. Climb
up the platform. Follow the path, jump over the gap, and another
    short scene.

Walk forward, and enter the portal. Walk up the stairs, and for a
scene. That's who we call Razia..

After the long scene, go back and exit the portal. Now turn to (The
    Prince's) left, for a scene.

    # Hold [Right Bumper] to Rewind Time #

Now run on the wall to avoid collapsing. The rest part of the passage
is just avoiding collapses, and I'm sure you know what to do along
the passage. Well in the end, you will find a gate. Walk through it
    for a scene.

    -^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-
    The Stables
    -^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-

Walk to the far left wooden wall, then turn behind it for another
short scene. Now defeat the undead army. After all are defeated,
return to the left wall you previously visited. Climb up the wall.
Jump to the next wall, then to the pole. Swing to the next pole, then
    to the platform.

Walk forward, then climb up the ledge. Move to the edge, then wall
run to jump to the column. Jump to the far end column, then reach the
ledge. Move to the end, then to another column. Jump to the last
column, then to the ledge. Move to the platform on your left. Walk
forward, then jump to the switch-pole. Return to the opened door,
this time using the pole on the ceiling. Enter the door, walk forward
and roll down the right door for a scene.

TIme it right, then jump over the spiked log. Turn right, then avoid
another log. Exit the area for another ambush. Walk right, and run
up the wall and jump to the pole to open the other poles. Now to the
pole, then reach the ledge. Move to the right, then climb up wall to
jump to the next pole. Jump from pole to pole, then to the ledge in
the end. Move to the next ledge, then to the bricks. Climb it up, and
jump to a beam on the top. Jump from beam to beam, then to a pole
from the last beam. Jump to the next beam, to a pole, then to another
beam, and finally jump to the banner. Enter the door, watch the
    scene.

Step on the button to open the door. Run through the swinging saw to
reach the door (Good timing is the key for this). And, another scene.

Rotate the lever counter-clockwise (So it faces to the gate), and a
wall will be opened. Run to the recently opened wall, Wall jump to
the top, and climb on to the beam. Walk to the edge of the beam, then
jump to the switch-pole. A platform will rise up. Use the banner to
    slide down.
Now turn the lever to 6 o' clock position. Run toward your back, then
run up the wall to jump to a pole. From the pole, jump to the top of
the wooden wall (A beam). Reach another switch-pole, and another
platform will rise up. Slide down.

Defeat the incoming enemies. Then, use the platforms you have risen
to wall jump to reach the upper gate. Enter the gate for a scene.

Run up on the wall above the closed door, then jump to reach a beam.
Jump to the bricks. Climb up, and you'll find a sarchopagi. Break it
with Power Attack. Now you have 1 Point to Upgrade. Upgrade a skill
    if you need it.
Now walk through the opened door. Run through the obstacles along the
passage. Once again, presice timing is the key. From the last
obstacle, turn left and exit through the door for a scene.

Walk right to a banner. Slide down, then jump to reach a pole. It
will activate a column. Use the column to reach the platform ahead.
Jump to another pole to activate another column. Run on the button,
then jump to the column to reach the gate. Enter it. Follow the
passage, then a scene right on the exit.

Run on wall to reach a platform (Watch the wall, of course). Run on
another wall, then jump to the platform opposite. Jump to a ledge,
then run to the platform on your right when the gear is opened. Wait
for the walls to come down, then run on the wall to reach another
platform. Climb the bricks to reach a ledge. Run through the gear to
another ledge. Move to the end, then run to another ledge on a moving
wall. Wait until the wall pop out, then jump to the column. Jump to
the next column, then jump to the ledge. Run to the pole on your
left. Jump through the gear to another pole. Slide down the banner,
    and enter the door.

A bit tip, came from Cameron Swift. For the 'Untouchable'
Achievement, the best way to accomplish it is by putting the Stone
Armour to the max. While using the Stone Armour, if you're hit by
Ratash, the damage won't be counted which means you have taken no
    damage.
