Why does this game include Rob Van Dam?

Can someone explain to me why RVD is in the game? I thought he was supposed to be in TNA?
Don't get me wrong, RVD is one of my favorite wrestler, and I'm more than happy to find him in the SvR11 roster. I'm just a little bit surprised.

Well, they started production of this game quite some time ago, so all the RVD was probably done before he signed with TNA.

Cause in reys RTWM he comes back to help his old ECW buddy, Rey Mysterio.
