    Hello people and welcome to my FAQ for the multiplayer guide for Resistance 3, 
    this is actually the first Resistance game Iíve played in the series but liked 
    the beta version that I had to make a FAQ. This covers all the weapons, perks, 
    killstreaks, awards and achievements in the game, so enjoy :P.

    II. Controls								[002]
    ==============================================================================
    
    So here are the controls for new people to the game and for veterans 
    of the series.
    
    []: Reload 
    /\: Switch Weapon (Hold to cycle through weapons)
    O: Crouch
    X: Jump
    L1: Aim down the sight
    L2: Throw grenade
    L3: Sprint (Press and hold to run)
    R1: Fire weapon
    R2: Fire Secondary

    Start: Brings up menu options
    D-Pad (UP): Berserk Action
    D-Pad (LEFT): Support Ability
    D-Pad (RIGHT): Tactical Ability

    III. Game Modes								[003]
    ==============================================================================
    
    There are 5 types of game modes in Resistance 3. Team Deathmatch which is the 
    standard multiplayer gameplay of any shooter, Deathmatch which is a free for 
    all game, Chain Reaction is where players take the enemy nodes and win the 
    match, Breach (Unsure), and Capture the Flag where both teams try and take 
    each other flags to score points for their team.
    
    Team Deathmatch: The classic game mode where both teams try and reach the 
    target score limit in the allotted time. There are 2 rounds with 10 minutes 
    in each round, you will get to play as Human and Chimera Forces. 
    
    Deathmatch: The classic free for all game mode where players are not in teams 
    but by themselves to reach the score in the allotted time. 
    
    Chain Reaction: This game mode is where you capture nodes to call in for more 
    reinforcements to win the game.
    
    Breach:
    
    Capture the Flag: This is where teams try and capture each others flag to 
    score points for their sides.

    up in the multiplayer mode of Resistance 3.

    V. Weapons								[005]
    ==============================================================================
    
    So here are the weapons of Resistance 3, Iíve tried my best to give them a 
    decent rating (everything is out of 5). If you have any opinions of 
    suggestions about the weapons please tell me I will change it. There are 4 
    types of attributes that come with these weapons.
    
    (1) Power: Shows the strength/damage of the weapon
    (2) Range: Shows how far the gun can go (distance wise)
    (3) Rate of Fire: Shows how fast the weapon fires
    (4) Movement Speed: Shows how fast you run/sprint with the weapon you have
    
    M5A2 CARBINE: The starting weapon of the game. It is probably the best around 
    gun in the whole game.

    MARKSMAN: A burst weapon which is effective for taking targets in hurry.

    Lvl 1: Burst weapon with a deployable turret that shoots enemies in its line 
    of sight
    Lvl 2: You get a new scope which increases your range
    Lvl 3: Your turret can take more damage and its power is upgraded to do more 
    damage.
    
    ROSSMORE: The strongest CQC weapon in the game but lacks the range for a 
    mid-long distance fire fight.

    Secondary Weapon: Concussion Grenade (Upgraded to incendiary grenade) 
    
    Lvl 1: Shoots a concussion grenade that disorients the enemy 
    Lvl 2: The Rossmore shells now will set the enemy on fire when you hit them
    Lvl 3: The concussion grenade is upgraded to a incendiary grenade that sets 
    the enemy on fire when they are hit by it.

    CHIMERA WEAPONS
    ===============
    
    ATOMIZER: A short range weapon but more deadlier than the shotgun when 
    up close.
    Unlocked: Lvl 35

    Rate of Fire: 5/5
    Movement Speed: 2.5/5
    
    Clip Size: 50
    Reserve Ammo: 100 (2 Clips)
    Secondary Weapon: Gravity Well
    
    Lvl 1: Short range stream of electricity that must held down and also a 
    gravity well which hurts and slows downs enemies near it. 
    Lvl 2: It can now hit multiple enemies in its range
    Lvl 3: The gravity well now explodes when it is finished
    
    BULLSEYE: The second weapon unlocked. This is notably the weakest gun in 
    the game but its high fire rate makes up for that.

    Secondary Weapon: Bullseye Tracker
    
    Lvl 1: Shoots Bullseye ammo, R2 is a Bullseye tracker (when the enemy is hit 
    with it, there will be a red line that will direct all of your shots towards 
    them)
    Lvl 2: Bullseye ammo now detonates when it comes into contact with the enemy
    Lvl 3: You get 1 more additional Bullseye tracker; now the tracker can hit up 
    to 2 people instead of 1 person.
    
    CYROGUN: A gun that freezes your enemies which slows them then eventually 
    smashing to bits and pieces.

    DEADEYE: The only sniper rifle in the game which can quick scope if you are 
    good enough.

    Lvl 1: R2 which is the Proton Charge can penetrate through the bubble shield 
    and the assault shield. 
    Lvl 2: When aiming down the sight you can now see your targets head and can 
    zoom in and out with the up and down button on the d-pad
    Lvl 3: The proton charge can now shoot through walls and solid objects 
    
    MUTATOR: A new edition to the series and a fun weapon to use if you can.

    Lvl 1: Shoots poison ammo which hurts the enemy for a certain amount of time 
    while the R2 shoots a toxic cloud which also hurts over time.
    Lvl 2: When the enemy dies by this weapon they will bloat up and
    Lvl 3: The poison cloud will have a longer duration and have a wider range
    
    WILDFIRE: The Chimera version of a human rocket launcher.

    GRENADE TYPES
    =============
    
    EMP GRENADE: This grenade will destroy any electronic devices i.e. Beacons, 
    Shields and disrupt certain abilities. 
    Unlocked: Lvl 25
    
    HEDGEHOG GRENADE: The Chimera grenade its actually a mine since it only blows 
    up when a enemy is near it making it useful to throw anywhere on the map to 
    get a free kill.
    Unlocked: Lvl 6
    
    MOLOTOV COCKTAIL: A improvised explosive which lights enemies on fire that 
    come into contact with it or get hit by it.
    Unlocked: Lvl 30
    
    SHRAPNEL GRENADE: The standard human grenade which is useful as it can roll 
    down hills and slopes.
    Unlocked: Starting Grenade
    
    SMOKE GRENADE: A grenade that releases smoke that enemies canít see you 
    (ONLY IN MULTIPLAYER MODE)
    Unlocked: Lvl 10

    VI. Tactical/Support Perks						[006]
    ==============================================================================
    
    There are 2 kind of perks in this game, support and tactical. Support being 
    helping you and your team and tactical helping you out.
    
    =============================
    SUPPORT PERKS (Left on D-Pad)
    =============================
    
    AMMO BEACON: A little beacon that resupplies your weapons
    Unlocked: Custom Class 1
    
    Lvl 1: Replenishes your ammo and your teamís
    Lvl 2: The range is increased and now can replenish secondary and grenades.
    
    BUBBLE SHIELD: A shield that protects you and your allies
    Unlocked: Custom Class 1
    
    Lvl 1: A 360 degree shield that protects you
    Lvl 2: The shield can now take more damage
    
    HEALING BEACON: A beacon that replenishes you and your teamís
    Unlocked: Lvl 22
    
    Lvl 1: Heals you can your team
    Lvl 2: The range is increased and can heal faster
    
    RADAR BEACON: This helps you see enemies on the radar when they are close 
    enough to your beacon.
    Unlocked: Lvl 28
    
    Lvl 1: See enemies that come into range of your beacon
    Lvl 2:
    
    SPOTTER: Spot an enemy which is outlined red and can be seen on the radar 
    by your team
    Unlocked: Lvl 8 
    
    Lvl 1: Spot an enemy near you by looking at them 
    Lvl 2: Now can spot 2 targets
    
    ===============================
    TACTICAL PERKS (Right on D-Pad)
    ===============================
    
    ASSASSIN: Makes your weapons more silent
    Unlocked: Lvl 32
    
    Lvl 1: Makes all of your weapons silent so you wont appear on the radar when 
    shooting.
    Lvl 2:
    
    DASH: Instantly sprints you for a short distance
    Unlocked: Lvl 22 
    
    Lvl 1: Dashes you 10M
    Lvl 2:
    
    DECOY: You can place this anywhere on the map and it do what you in its 
    location (perfect for camping snipers). 
    Unlocked: Lvl 12
    
    Lvl 1: Place anywhere on the place project an image of yourself
    Lvl 2: The decoy will explode when an enemy gets to close to it
    
    DOPPELGANGER: Unlike the decoy the doppelganger is almost the same thing but 
    will run beside you at all times and mirror anything you do.
    Unlocked: Custom Class 1 
    
    Lvl 1: An image that runs beside you but will flicker time to time showing 
    the real one and will flicker as well when shot at.
    Lvl 2: The projection can take more damage before it starts to flicker.
    
    LIGHTING SHIELD: A belt of electricity around your waist that hurts enemies 
    that melee you when this is equipped
    Unlocked: Custom Class 1
    
    Lvl 1: Stuns the enemy and damages the person meleeing you
    Lvl 2: It can now damage up to enemies at a time
    
    THERMAL VISION: Helps you detect heat signatures of the opposing team 
    Unlocked: Lvl 42
    
    Lvl 1: See enemies though walls at a certain range
    Lvl 2:
    
    TURRET: A deployable turret that shoots anything in its line of sight 
    Unlocked: Lvl 38
    
    Lvl 1: Fires at the enemy within its range
    Lvl 2: The turret now fires rockets.

    VII. Passive Perks							[007]
    ==============================================================================
    
    So these perks mean that they are always on and you donít have to press any 
    button to use them but do have 2 sides to them.
    
    ============================
    LEFT SIDE/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTE
    ============================
    
    These attributes help your characters class.
    
    BANDOLIER: You start with more ammo when you spawn
    Unlocked: Custom Class 1
    
    Lvl 1: Have more ammo in your primary when you spawn
    Lvl 2: Have 1 extra shot in your secondary weapon
    
    DEMOLITIONS: Helps you increases damage with explosive type weapons
    Unlocked: Lvl 43 
    
    Lvl 1: Increases damage with all explosive type weapons 
    Lvl 2: Increases the radius of all explosive damage
    
    GUNSLINGER: Helps you out on the run
    Unlocked: Lvl 19
    
    Lvl 1: Increases your accuracy when running
    Lvl 2: Reload your ammo faster with all weapons
    
    HAZMAT SUIT: Protects you from certain ailments/status effects in the game
    Unlocked: Lvl 37
    
    Lvl 1: Reduces the damage done by all explosive damage
    Lvl 2: Prevents status effects like being frozen, set on fire and poisoned 
    also Magnum rounds and Bullseye Tags do not stick to you.
    
    LEAPER CORPSE: Little alien creatures come out when you die
    Unlocked: Lvl 7
    
    Lvl 1: 4 creatures come out of you when you die and attack your enemies
    Lvl 2: Same this but 2 of the 4 creatures will now spit stuff at your enemies.
    
    TACTICAN: Helps out your Tactical Ability
    Unlocked: Lvl 49
    
    Lvl 1: Reduces the cooldown time of your tactical ability so you donít have 
    to wait as long for it to activate again. 
    Lvl 2: Increases the duration time of your tactical ability
    
    TRACKER: Helps you find where your enemies went
    Unlocked: Lvl 25
    
    Lvl 1: You can see the enemy footprints
    Lvl 2: Enemy footprints are now in red (fresh tracks) or blue (old tracks)
    
    VITAL SIGNS: Shows the health bar of your enemies when looking at them
    Unlocked: Lvl 31
    
    Lvl 1: See how much health the enemy has left
    Lvl 2: Shows what tactical perk the enemy is using

    RIGHT SIDE/COMBAT ATTRIBUTE
    ===========================
    
    These attributes give you an edge in battle so make use of them.
    
    AIR COOL BARREL: Helps you looking down the sight of your weapon
    Unlocked: Lvl 9
    
    Lvl 1: Increases the rate of fire of any weapon when looking down the sight
    Lvl 2: Increases the movement speed when looking down the sight
    
    BERSERKER: Helps you activate your Berserker ability faster
    Unlocked: Lvl 13
    
    Lvl 1: It takes 1 less kill to activate your berserker ability.
    Lvl 2: Longer duration time with the berserker ability
    
    BODY ARMOR: Take more damage
    Unlocked: Lvl 20
    
    Lvl 1: You can take more damage but your movement decreases
    Lvl 2: Cancels out the first lvl so you move at normal speed
    
    DOUBLE BIRD: Perform a taunt
    Unlocked: Custom Class 1
    
    Lvl 1: Perform a victory taunt
    Lvl 2:
    
    GRENADIER: Allows you to carry an extra grenade type
    Unlocked: Lvl 27
    
    Lvl 1: Can now carry 2 grenade types
    Lvl 2: Can now carry 3 grenade types
    
    PATIENCE: The longer you wait with your crosshair on an enemy the more damage 
    you will do to him/her.
    Unlocked: Lvl 34
    
    Lvl 1: Look at the enemy with your crosshair and the longer you wait the more 
    bonus damage you will do.
    Lvl 2: Reduces the time it takes to reach maximum damage.
    
    SLOTH: Your sprint speed is halved
    Unlocked: Lvl 30
    
    Lvl 1: Gain XP bonus at the cost of your sprint speed.
    Lvl 2:
    
    TEAM PLAYER: Helps out your teams support abilities
    Unlocked: Lvl 39
    
    Lvl 1: Increases the range of youíre/teams support abilities
    Lvl 2: Increases the duration of youíre/teams support abilities
    
    TRAVEL LIGHT: Cannot pickup any weapons
    Unlocked: Lvl 44
    
    Lvl 1: Gain XP Bonus but cannot pick up any weapons
    Lvl 2:
    
    SCAN JAMMER: Jams the enemy radar when they come into a certain range of you.
    Unlocked: Custom Class 1
    
    Lvl 1: Distorts the enemy radar when they are in a certain range of you
    Lvl 2: You cannot be spotted with the Spotter Ability and Thermal Vision 
    cannot see you.
    
    SCAVENGER: Pickup health/ammo packs from dead bodies
    Unlocked: Custom Class 1
    
    Lvl 1: Pickup ammo/health packs from dead bodies 
    Lvl 2: Pickup secondary ammo from dead bodies now
    
    STRAPPED: Carry extra weapons
    Unlocked: Lvl 14
    
    Lvl 1: Carry 2 weapons
    Lvl 2: Carry 3 weapons
    
    WANTED: Will always appear on the enemiesí radar
    Unlocked: Lvl 47
    
    Lvl 1: Gain XP bonus at cost of being on the enemy radar all the time
    Lvl 2:
    
    ==============================================================================
    VIII. Killstreaks							[008]
    ==============================================================================
    
    If you go on a killing spree, of course you get rewarded right. So here is 
    what you get when you get kills without dying. (All killstreaks last about
    15-25 seconds unless you are killed when using them)
    
    3 Kills = Assault Shield: This will protect only the front side of your body 
    leaving your back unprotected. (Only HUMANS can use this)
    
    3 Kills = Cloak: This is a favourite of mine, this will turn you invisible 
    for a period of time. The downside is that when you melee or shoot you will 
    decloak and the enemy will see you (you will emit a blue kind of light when 
    attacking) [Only CHIMERAS can use this]
    
    6 Kills = Auger: This little handy weapon comes equipped with x-ray vision 
    which can see through walls and thermal vision to highlight your enemeies. 
    This can penetrate through walls and shields. (Both sides can use this)
    
    9 Kills = Combat Armor/Mutate: When activated will become taller but slower

    classes in here as well as the default classes, Iím putting these here so 
    people can use them to get better in the game. (Will also accept other 
    classes from people from emails from them, they must meet the following 
    criteria; Primary Weapon, Grenade type, Support Ability, Tactical Ability, 
    Left Passive Skill, Right Passive Skill, A name for your class (optional), 
    a description of what your class is and what game mode your class is best

    How to get: When you enter the cafe, rush the Wardens then let them surround
    you then use the secondary to achieve this.
    
    19. One Eyed Jack: Find and kill 'Jack' in Graterford Prison

    How to get: Before you go up the second ladder, in the pit look left to go
    down a tuneel which leads you to a dead end but leaves with with a jack with
    no box, shoot him in the face to get it.
    
    20. No Escape: Destroy all Warden vehicles in the Motorpool
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: There are 4 vehicles in this part, 1 in the building closest to
    you, 2 in the building Northwest of the first building and the last one is in
    the building to the west after the barricade has come down for you to proceed
    to the elevator.
    
    21. In This Together: Defeat the Widowmaker in Times Square without 
    killing a single Hybrid
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Just stay low and hit the widowmaker and if chimera run after you
    just run away and hide then come back to kill the widowmaker.
    
    22. Good Fences: Don't allow any counter-attackers into the Washington 
    Square base
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Play easy mode to get this trophy
    
    23. Up your Arsenal: Get a kill with every weapon in your arsenal
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Just have to get 1 kill with every weapon in your inventory
    
    24. Overload: Use the EMP to take down 10 Steelhead Auger shields
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Use EMP grenades to take down shields when they put them up
    
    25. Cheap Shots: Kill 25 enemies firing the Auger through an object

    How to get: Just put on the shield on blast through it (Easiest place to 
    do this is on the boat as you can restock on ammo anytime)
    
    26. Grenadier: Kill 3 or more Military Chimera with a single Grenade

    How to get: Easy thing to do, when they are in a cluster just huck one to get
    the trophy.
    
    27. Raining Limbs: Kill 25 Grims using only grenades
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: This can be done over the course of the game so just kill 
    Grims with grenades when you want to.
    
    28. Corpse Wagon: Detonate fallen Leeches to kill 25 enemies
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Only can be done in Chapter 11, kill down leeches then get grims
    to chase you.
    
    29. Bloodborne: Kill 3 enemies simultaneously using a single mutated body
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Easily achieve when doing the BARF! trophy as most of them will
    run to kill somebody.
    
    30. Grasshopper Unit: Kill 5 Longlegs in mid-jump
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: This can be done when you first meet them in Haven, 
    just use the Tracker and blast them away.

    3. Juggler: Simultaneously burn, freeze and poison 4 separate enemies

    How to get: Do in Chapter 16, when you come with the part in the waterfall do 
    it there.
    
    4. Nothing But Net: Score a basket by lobbing a grenade through a
    basketball hoop
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: When fighting the Widowmaker in St.Louis Missouri, there is a 
    basketball court where the Widowmaker is so, go down to the court and shoot
    from the free throw line to get it.
    
    5. Medusa: Freeze 5 enemies at once and destroy them with a blast of the 
    Cryogun's secondary fire
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Get the Cyrogun in Chapter 11 so when defending Jonathan Rose 
    wait for 5 Grims then shatter those ugly fellas. 
    
    6. Bull in a China Shop: Freeze and melee kill 3 Ravagers
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: While in the subway in New York, you'll see Ravagers fight grims,
    freeze the Ravagers to get this trophy.
    
    7. Weaponsmith: Upgrade 5 weapons in Campaign Mode
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Done by just killing enemies to level up any gun in Campaign Mode
    
    8. This is my Rifle: Fully upgrade one weapon in Campaign Mode
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Done by just fully upgrading any gun in the game (Use the 
    Bullseye as there is a lot of ammo for it in the game)
    
    9. Backstabber: Kill 20 enemies with melee while they are idle
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Done over the course of the game but the best place to do this in
    Prison.
    
    10. Toast: Use the upgraded Deadeye secondary fire to kill 2+ enemies, 5 times
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Use the secondary when there are clumps of enemies then blast them.
    
    11. Counter-Sniper: Use the Deadeye to kill 20 snipers
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Done during the chapter in Mt. Pleasant PA where you need to 
    take the sniper to move on
    
    12. Electric Avenue: Use the EMP to take down 25 drones
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Just use EMP grenades to take out any drone.
    
    13. Warp Speed: Use the Atomizer secondary fire to kill 30 enemies
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Best used when you get surrounded by Leapers as this will kill 
    them almost instantly (Best used in Chapter 11 when you come into the 
    building full of Leapers)
    
    14. Feeling Lucky, Punk: Detonate multiple Magnum rounds to kill 2+ enemies 
    at once, 5 times
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: So put a couple of rounds in an enemy while heís in a group and 
    blow them to kingdom come.
    
    15. Fireworks: Use the Wildfire secondary fire to kill 6 enemies in one shot
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: I did this when i got Lvl 3 with it then went back to the prison
    level before you fight Mick and used it on the Wardens to my right of the 
    elevator to get this.
    
    16. Boom Stick: Use the upgraded Rossmore secondary fire to set 6 enemies on 
    fire at once
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Best used when fighting a lot of enemies in a enclosed place or 
    when fighting a lot of grims or use it during the BARF! trophy part.
    
    17. Tag, Youíre It: Kill 40 Bullseye tagged enemies
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits

    How to get: Best done before you enter the pub in St.Louis
    
    23. Shoe Leather: Travel 30 km on foot
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Just keep running in the game and eventually youíll get this
    
    24. Land, Sea, and Air: Travel in 3 different vehicles on your journey
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: You need to complete the story to get this as you travel by Boat 
    (Sea) then by VTOL (Air) and then on the Train (Land) 
    
    25. Buckshot: Kill 2+ enemies with one Rossmore blast
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Just try and angle the enemies to get both of them to get this
    
    26. Access Denied: Absorb 1000 damage with Auger Shields
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Use the Auger Secondary to absorb the damage
    
    27. From the Hip: Kill 50 enemies with the Bullseye or Marksman while moving, 
    without using zoom
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Just keep moving and aiming from the hip (not using L1)
    
    28. Chamber Full of Death: Kill 5+ Hybrids at once by using the HE 
    .44 Magnum secondary fire
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Tag 5 Hybrids with the Magnum then blow them up with the secondary
    
    29. Helping Hands: Revive a Co-op partner 20 times
    Reward: Bronze Trophy/15 Credits
    How to get: Play Co-op and revive your partner when he gets downed by the enemy.
