"Another copied and pasted game."
After looking at the name, and then looking at the publisher, I knew this was a copy of Tales of Symphonia. I thought it was going to be just as good, or perhaps even better. But I was wrong there.
What is this game like?
This is a real time based adventure game. Very much like final fantasy except the fights are not turn based. The ideas put into this game are good, but if only it wasn't a copy of Tales of Symphonia on the gamecube. Everything here is the same, the Cramels, the skills, the classes. The only thing they changed were characters names and looks with a little editing in the storyline.
Not too shabby. Cartoon graphics, but it definitely does what it's supposed to. The skills and battle effects are done well, and near perfection. But still, whilst fighting, the pixels for characters are too large. It is almost on par with Golden Sun on the GBA. And that equals not good for a PSP title.
Directly ripped and torn from Tales of Symphonia on the Gamecube. They did little improvements on the actual game before releasing it. Same as most RPGs. Follow the storyline, enemies drop weapons, not much choice in what you do. But still, it isn't bad at all.
Hardly an adventure. The story is once again made for 8 year olds. They may be excited by it. It takes about 20 hours on average to complete this game, and to be honest, that's not very long. Although it is packed with voice acts and cut scenes, the story is still too basic to cut it.
Above average music to say the least, it isn't bad at all. Hard to describe with words, but definitely won't disappoint. Environmental plus battle music. Mixes well.
If you have the spare money, this game is definitely worth trying out. But it isn't the best title around. Just a watered down version of Tales of Symphonia.
*Good battle scenes
*Graphics could be improved
