How do I get to Alternate Stage 4?

I can never seem to find a boss or secret path to get to this level.

Answer

In Stage 3' when the spiked balls are going up and down, you can whip the chains they hang from to make them drop down. One of them will destroy a section of the floor that you can fall down. From there you can fight the Dogether and unlock Stage 4'.

I don't remember the alternate route for Stage 3, through. Sorry.
