Do orb effects stack?

For example, gatherer and master gatherer orbs. they both increase dowsing rate.

Um, those two orbs are not the same.

Yes. Bonuses stack with similar orb effects. Unfortunately so are the penalties.

What does gatherer do? and does it work with the demo????

Why don't you test it, go to a gathering spot, see how many items you get, equip each to see how many more you get, equip both and see if you get more.
