    Thanx goes out to:
-MOE from WaveNet (aka SmellDiS1@aol.com), one of the best MK players I've
ever known. He's given me more then I could ever list.
-Me, because none of this would be possible otherwise.
-All Chicago-land WaveNet players. Home of the best MK players and hometown
     Chicago-style cheese.
-Nurgle58@aol.com for the infinite Rain combo.

If there is any thing that you would like to add, or something I have missed,
please email me at Shawnecyx@aol.com and you will recieve full credit for any
    information you may supply.

There are a few things not contained in this FAQ:
    The Ultimate Kombat Kode.
    Baraka's morph with Shang Tsung.
Kombat Zone Kodes for: The Tomb, Living Forest, Hidden Portal, and Pit
    Bottom.

A Note On All Juggle Combos
Juggle combos are any combo in which you hit the opponent a number of times
while they are in midair. Some characters are much easier to juggle than
others. All combos listed work best against the ninjas. Many difficult juggle
combos will not work so well on certain characters, and some won't work at
all against others. Characters like Sheeva, Kung Lao, and the Cyber-Ninjas
are very hard to juggle. This is due to the fact that when juggling them,
they keep their legs pointed up straight up. So when you juggle them, they
fall just as far as other characters, but they position themselves so that
more distance is between you and them.

A Note On Corner Only Combos
When an uppercut-combo is noted as being "Corner Only," the approprate
positions for both players is a distance from the corner in which the fighter
doing the combo is not pushed away when he uppercuts, but still close enough
to attack while the opponent is airborne in the corner. A good measure of
this distance is on The Wasteland. There are six thick lines on the ground
running perpendicualr-sorta to to the players. The ones that are of concern
are the two outtermost ones nearest the corners. When doing an uppercut combo,
you may not cross this line if you want to stay close to the opponent after
you perform the uppercut. Any Corner Only combos which do not knock the
opponent up in the air can be done all the way in the corner such as Cyrax's
74% Corner Only combo, or Scorpion's 39% Corner Only combo.

A Note On Midair Opponent Combos
When a combo is noted as being "Midair Opponent," it refers to your opponent
being midair for any reason. This may be a jump, but most often it refers to a
player being in midair after performing a move (i.e. Scorpion after you block
his Teleport). The first attack listed in the combo strikes the opponent in
midair. It's obvious that every character would have a multitude of these type
of combos, but I only list these combos for characters which may benefit
heavily from it due to midair moves or because of increased damage (i.e.
Kitana's Midair Opponent Combo is reduced heavily in percentage if it is
started off with her Fan Wave instead). I would assume that Stryker would also
be a very good contender for Midair Opponent Combos, but I'm so sick of using
him. Stryker's infinite combo works nowhere near as good as it did in the
arcade. I'm sure I might find a Midair Opponent Combo for him, but currently
    I'm too lazy to try.

    Baraka
Storyline: Baraka was sent to quell the uprising renegade race in Outworld's
lower regions. After his victorious battle, the nomadic warrior returns to
fight on the side of villainy. Under the guidance of Shao Kahn, Baraka will
once again pose a formidable threat to his Earthen counterparts.

Tournament Outcome: When Baraka's failure to apprehend several Earth warriors
nearly results in Shao Kahn's demise, the nomad finds himself fearing for his
own life. He falls out of favor with his Emperor, and realizes that it's only
a matter of time before Kahn enacts revenge. Baraka remains loyal until the
opposition from the Earth realm has been defeated. With Kahn in a weakened
state from his battle with Rayden, Baraka strikes. The despondent Emperor is
no match for Baraka's attack. Then, fearing reprisal from those loyal to
Kahn, Baraka escapes back into the nomadic ruins from which he came.

    Cyrax
Storyline: Cyrax, Unit LK-4D4, is the second of three prototype cybernetic
ninjas built by the Lin Kuei. Like his counterparts, Cyrax's last programmed
command is to find and terminate the rogue ninja, Sub-Zero. Without a soul,
Cyrax goes undetected by Shao Kahn and remains a possible threat against his
    occupation of Earth.

Tournament Outcome: Cyrax is captured by Sub-Zero and reprogrammed with new
orders: destroy Shao Kahn. With Kahn unable to detect the assassin's soulless
presence, Cyrax delivers a successful sneak attack, but after eliminating
Kahn and saving Earth, Cyrax awaits new orders from his Lin Kuei
Headquarters. The orders never come and Cyrax malfunctions. He ends up
stranded in the middle of a vast desert, blindly heading towards his base.

player either for that matter, but it is nice just to know it's out there.)

    Ermac
Storyline: An enigma to all who come into contact with him. Ermac's past
remains shrouded in mystery. It's believed that he exists as a life force
brought together by the souls of the extinguished Outworld Warriors. Shao
Kahn has managed to take possession of these souls and use them to fight on
the side of tyranny. Tournament Outcome: When Kahn finally eliminates his
opposition, he finds a new and surprising foe in Ermac. The Outworld souls
that give life to the warrior did not trust their tyrannical leader who
planned to consume the powerful life force for his own power. Even Shao
Kahn's power was no match for the overwhelming strength of the legions of
deceased Outworld warriors. They destroyed their master in a battle that
devastated the entire realm. Ermac was left behind to rule it with his own
    brand of oppression.

Cage to rejoin his friends to battle for Earth's survival.

Tournament Outcome: With his nearly deceased soul restored, Johnny Cage
finds himself fighting alongside his friends once again. This time he
seeks revenge against the extermination squad that took his life, but
during their battle, Cage learns that if they win against Kahn, his soul will
again be deceased when Earth reverts back to normal. Knowing this, the
movie star embarks on a one way mission to destroy Shao Kahn. His
determination fuels his fellow warriors as they embark on one final onslaught

Kahn to spare his soul. Kahn needs someone to teach his warriors how to use
Earth's weapons. And Kano is the man.

resourcefulness of the scheming human. Kano lures Kahn's army away on a false
mission: then nukes them using a stolen weapon. He fights the remaining
warriors and finally defeats Kahn himself. Kano's true intention is to take
over the souls whcih Kahn once possessed, but Kano is unable to control the
spirits as they escape and attack him. Rumored to have suffered a violent

near Shao Kahn's fortress. She then comes face to face with the Emperor
himself. In an incredible display of courage, Sonya wins. When the world

form the Outer World Investigation Agency: devoted to protecting Earth

America, panic and chaos rage out of control. Kurtis Stryker was the leader
of a riot control brigade when Shao Kahn began taking souls. He finds
himself the lone survivor of a city once populated by millions.

Tournament Outcome: Ignorant of why his soul was spared from the Outworld
invasion, Stryker receives a vision from Rayden. He is instructed to travel
West. He eventually meets the rest of Earth's warriors and learns the true
meaning of survival. He travels back to the city he swore to protect. Kahn is
unfamiliar with this new kombatant and is caught off guard. Stryker defeats
