-- Normal mode --
pick a character and fight 9 battles to see that character's ending.
After winning a round, fans get serviced with a nice picture of the losing character.

Q. are the matches random?
A. No, each character fights a set list of the other characters, as follows:

-- VS Mode --
Selecting this mode gives you three options:
1P Vs 2P  (standard two player fighting)
1P Vs COM (fight a computer controlled opponent one match)
COM Vs COM (see if the computer can out wit itself!)

-- Story Mode --
You play as Yuka, and only Yuka. Her story is told between rounds as she talks with each
opponent, both before and after the fight. This is a more involved ending than just playing
normal mode.

The game starts at the Prologue. As you win battles you will be able to continue the story
from whichever battle you left off at.

-- Config. Mode --
> Game level
  sets the level of difficulty 1 - 8 (2 being default)

> time limit
  set the time limit for the rounds 45,60,90, and infinite (60 being default)

> button set
  change which buttons do what

> pad check
  test to see if all the buttons are working

> music select
  play all the different music tracks in the game

> sound mode
  stereo or mono

> Exit
  exits the menu

During Match:
X = Weak Punch
Y = Hard Punch
A = Weak Kick
B = Hard Kick
R = scroll screen right
L = scroll screen left
up = jump
down = crouch
right/left = move backwards and forwards
Start = Pause game

During Menu:
A = select/continue
B = go back
L/R = Change game speed (1 - 5 on character select screen)
Start = Select/Continue (select COM on character select screen)
up/down = select stage (in VS mode)
left/right = select handicap (in VS mode)

P = any punch
K = any kick
WP = weak punch
WK = weak kick
HP = hard punch
HK = hard kick
U = up
D = down
F = forward (towards opponent)
B = back    (away from opponent)
C = crouching (e.g. CHP would be a crouching hard punch.)
J = jumping (e.g. JHP would be a jumping hard punch.)
DF = down + forward at the same time
DB = down + back at the same time
QCF = move the directional in a fluid motion a Quarter Circle from down to forward
QCB = move the directional in a fluid motion a Quarter Circle from down to back
HCF = move the directional in a fluid motion a Half Circle from back to forward
HCB = move the directional in a fluid motion a Half Circle from forward to back
DP = Dragon Punch motion (F,D,DF)
RDP = reverse Dragon Punch motion (B,D,DB) 
720 = two full circles on the directional
-> = 2 in 1 i.e. while one regular attack is in mid animation, input the command for
     a special attack.

- if two characters dash at each other, they will swap sides if close enough.
Dash backward - B,B

Also note that some combos won't work on all characters. I've listed as many of these
specifics as i've found.

 - standard rising, spinning uppercut
 - WP = 2 hits when close
 - HP = 3 hits when close

Kikoudan: QCF + P
 - standard fire/energy ball
 - button determines speed (WP = slow, HP = fast)
 - 2 hits up close

Idatensoku: QCB + K
 - Yuka rushes forward and does a hard spinning kick
 - WK = 3 hits when close
 - HK = 4 hits when close
 
*** Triple Kikoudan: QCB x2 + HP
 - Yuka throws three small energy balls in a row

*** The Everything Super: F,HCF + any P and K of the same level
 - Kikoudan, Souryuugeki, and a double Idatensoku one right after the other

 - Throws a glowing dagger
 - button determines speed (WP = slow, HP = fast)

Uengeki B (hold): F +P
 - charges at opponent with fist
 - WP = 1 hit, and she jumps back
 - HP = up to 5 hits when close

*** Super Shisenken: HCF x2 + PP
 - Throws about a dozen glowing daggers for multiple hits

     Corner juggles:
      - B (hold) F + FP, FP 

      - B (hold) F + CFP, B (hold) F + FP 
        * this works on: Kaori

nekorokettopanchi (cat rocket punch): QCF + P
 - her cat glove pops off and shoots at the opponent

Gorogoroatakku B (hold): F + P
 - throws herself at opponent with a mid air summersault
 - about 1/2 screen range

Gorogoroatakku 2 B (hold): F + K
 - jumps back, rolls on the ground, then jumps at opponent
 - must be blocked high???

???: B (hold) F + PP
 - same animation as her round intro, but she rushes forwards
 - faster than Gorogoro attack, and it also has about twice the range

*** Giant Cat Rocket Punch: QCF X2 + HP & HK
 - same as cat rocket punch, however when the paw gets far enough it becomes really big

     throw juggle:
     F + HP, quickly press B (hold) F + P (as soon as she's done slapping)

      - while manami is slapping, charge her Gorogoroatakku.
        when she lets go of your opponent, do the attack before they land.
	
        OR
     F + HP, and just as she's done slapping, do a QCF + P 
	
      - same as above, but substitute chare move for the cat rocket punch.

 - Punches the ground with her fist

 - Grabs opponent, carries them in to the air, and lands with them on her shoulders 
   for a back breaker
 - HIGH damage

*** Super Kubota Buster: 720 + PP(close to opponent)
 - does two suplexes then the regular Kubota Buster

Eririn Fuaiyaa(Fire): B (hold) F + P
 - sends out a burst of flames (possibly from alcohol bottle?)
 - about three characters distance
 - 2 hits when close

???: HCB + P
 - one large punch aimed at opponent's feet, with one leg extended back
 - fun

???: QCB + K,K,K
 - throws two punches, then a kick, stepping forward with each attack.
 - up to 3 hits (one for each button press)

 Both characters should now have the secondary color scheme!
 NOTE: K2's P1 picture and P2 picture are different (P1 is the same picture as K1)

I know very little Japanese, so these endings are pretty much what I can gather from the
pictures. (i.e. guesses) I put the level number the game was set on, when that ending occurred.
I don't know if level number determines the ending or not...

Yuka   - Beaten down by Reimi's mother and later gives Reimi her bow (story mode)
       - 1st: wanders off in to sunset (normal mode) lv. 2
       - 2nd: seems to have punched someone though a window maybe? (normal mode) lv. 5,8

Chiho  - 1st: stars in sentai movie? lv. 2,5
       - 2nd: she beats up an old guy who walks in on her while she's changing lv. 4

Manami - 1st: gets in trouble at school for breaking a window? lv. 2
       - 2nd: gets in trouble (spanking!) for having a part time job? lv. 6

Jun    - 1st: falls asleep with lots o stuff animals (cute ^_^) lv. 2
       - 2nd: becomes astronaut? lv. 7

Satomi - 1st: her brother is happy to see her. She teaches gymnastics? lv. 2
       - 2nd: Gets ice cream with her brother (she spills hers)

Ayako  - 1st: opens her own dance club perhaps? lv. 2
       - 2nd: is a nurse at a hospital, and give injection to some guy... lv. 7

Elina  - 1st: looks like she buys losing tickets for something...? lv. 2
       - 2nd: in front a mic, standing next to Jun lv. 5

Kaori  - 1st: Visits the hot springs lv. 1,2,5
       - 2nd: Becomes voice actress? lv. 3

Reimi  - 1st: gets married lv. 2
       - 2nd?:

The special edition of the game came in a large box with a puzzle for about
$85.

I can't Say for sure if there is a difference between the SE version of the 
game and the regular version or not, since i haven't played them both.
