Alex Kidd: High-Tech World

"Average and Unusual"

This is out of my opinion the worst out of the Alex Kidd series. You hear theirs a new arcade open down on the ground floor of the castle. But alas someone hads rippped the map into pieces and being the adventrous kidd ;) he is he goes off to find the pieces of map to get to the arcade. This game has an unusual twist being made in 1988 with the most popular action/adventure game. I would rate this as of a puzzle genre, featuring his female tutor asking you, the player 10 questions to get a map piece. This game is extremely weird even in this era of games. This game requires thinking and skill plus general knowledge. Have not finished as it's to boring.

Music:5.5/10 Average. Quite a usual 8 bit tune with it not sticking to your head. Not my type of music. Sweet music but not catchy. It changes from a upbeat tune to a low dang tune but it's quite what you'd expect from a game in this era (mid to late 80's)

GamePlay:6.2/10: Have to look to get pieces. Answer questions about OUR world e.g Whats the capatial of japan
a)Tokyo
B)Seoul
so thinking required. Most people would get tired of this game after 10 minutes. Going down stairs upstairs asking people if they'd thrown some paper into the bin etc. Poor graaphics make it average but a questionarre makes it interesting. Partly enjoyable

Lastabilty: 1/10: i hardly have seen anyone on the internet enjoying thsi game and rating it low marks so a low end 1 will have to make it. I probably won't ever fnish it because it just isn't good enough to get that urge to keep on playing.

Replay: 3/10 I would because i do with all games but I didn't like it much so i guess i wouldn't if i were someone that didn't play it over and over again

Graphics 4.5/10 Average. Alex kidd looks to big compared to miracle world. Compared to Miracle world its poor colour choice with alex kidd with a oversized head. I see the graphics aren't crisp and off seem a little bad for the Sega master system

Price recomended to buy for: No more than $2US,$5AUD and 1 pound sterling.

Overall: 4.99/10: Not bad but not good. I think its good if you like a challenge without caring about graphics. Medicore for my liking but i recommend trying it for yourself!!
