1.) Introduction
===================
Howdy and welcome to my walkthrough for Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest, which is
also my 20th overall walkthrough. You're probably asking why I'm making a
walkthrough for this game. Well, I've been playing it recently, and I just
had a sudden urge to write a walkthrough for this game. I think this is a
good game, and I wanted something to type up, and here I am.

3.) Walkthrough
===================
NOTE: This walkthrough will be spoiler free, but I will notify you when one of
your party members is leaving, but I don't reveal any plot points whatsoever.
===============
Hill of Destiny
===============
(001)
Items Enemies
----- -------
N/A Behemoth
Once the game begins, you'll be thrown onto the Hill of Destiny. Read through
the text, and then jump over the gap when you're ordered to. Soon, a monster
comes your way.
O---O------------O
| B | Behemoth |
| O |------------O
| S | 80 HP |
| S |------------O
O---O
-There's really no strategy to this fight. You basically just whack each
other until one of you die. If the Behemoth doesn't land any Critical hits,
you'll win. If he does land a Critical hit, you'll most likely lose. If you
do lose, just choose to restart the fight.
After the fight, you'll exit the Hill automatically. Choose to enter the
Level Forest.
==============
Level Forest
==============
(002)
Items Enemies
----- -------
Cure Potion x3 N/A
Tree Wither
There's only one path you can go right now. Just head north and you'll spot
an old man standing in your path. Jump over him and push the rock up. He'll
thank you and give you a Tree Wither. After he leaves, do the same and exit
to the east. On the world map, choose to enter Foresta.
==============
Foresta
==============
(003)
Items Enemies
----- -------
Cure Spell N/A
Cure Potion x6
Before advancing any further, head to the northern part of town and jump on
and over the tree stumps and enter the back of the house you see. Open the
chest for the Cure Spell. Exit and go back to the entrance and enter the left
house. Talk with the girl on the left. She'll introduce herself as Kaeli and
she'll join your party. Head up to find a chest containing some Cure Potions.
Exit and head to the right and enter the house here. Head all the way up for
some more Cure Potions. You can also rest in the bed to the left for free, so
make a mental note of that. When you're ready, exit the town and head back to
the Level Forest.
==============
Level Forest
==============
(004)
Items Enemies
----- -------
Cure Potion x6 Brownie
Heal Potion x3 Slime
Minotaur
Open the nearby chest for some Cure Potions. Once in control, make your way
to the west side of the forest and defeat the enemies in the way to find a
chest in the northwest corner containing more Cure Potions. Now head to the
northeast side of the forest and defeat the enemies to reach the chest that
has Heal Potions in it. Now make your way to the north end of the forest and
you'll find a tree with a glowing red outline. Make sure you're at least
Level 3 before examining it. Once you do, an enemy will pop out.
O---O------------O
| B | Minotaur |
| O |------------O
| S | 240 HP |
| S |------------O
O---O
-This guy has some powerful attacks, so you'll want to be ready for what he
throws at you. The Cure Book you got in Foresta will help out a lot here.
You'll want to watch out for his Roundhouse attack, as it'll leave a mark on
the character that gets hit by it. He'll also use Scream from time to time
to lower your defense, so watch out for that. If you run low on health, make
sure to use Cure or Life with Kaeli to get your HP to full. Just keep
attacking him and you'll win eventually. Or if you want to be cheap, you can
simply cast Life on him to kill him in one shot.
After the fight, Kaeli will leave your party. Now you need to find the Elixer
to make her feel better. You'll then recieve the Axe, which allows you to
cut down the trees in this area. Plus, it's a lot better than the Sword you
currently have. Head to the southeast corner of the map and cut down the
trees to find a chest containing some Cure Potions. Now head directly to the
west to find another chest behind some trees that has some Healing Potions in
it. When you're ready, exit the forest via the North. Rest up in Foresta if
you need to. There's also a battlefield to your north.

-This battlefield is pretty easy. For the Mad Plants, you should just Axe it
to death and you should have no problems. The Poison Toads, however, are more
of a problem, as they tend to hit hard, so make sure to keep your health up.
Enter the Sand Temple.

You'd really need to try your hardest to get lost in here. Head directly
north and open the chest. Looks like it's empty, and then someone will come
and offer to sell the Elixer for 9000 GP. He'll ask for your help to find
something, and he'll introduce himself as Tristam. He'll then join your party
as you head for the Bone Dungeon. Exit the Sand Temple. If you go to the
west on the map, there's a Battlefield here.

-Another simple one, as you've faced off against two of these enemies already.
Howerve,r Basilisk's may pose as a problem, as like with the Poison Toads,
they can do a lot of damage, especially if they use Fang, so make sure to keep
yourself healed up.
Enter the Bone Dungeon.
==============
Bone Dungeon

(006)
Items Enemies
----- -------
Cure Potion x6 Basilisk
Seeds x3 Roc
Ninja Stars x60 Sandworm
Explosives x20 Poison Toad
Steel Shield Skeleton
Quake Spell Gorgon
Sand Coin Minotaur Zombie
Flamerus Rex
As you enter the dungeon, make your way west first and defeat the enemies
along the way. Open the chest here for some Ninja Stars. Now make your way
to the east section of the room and defeat the enemies guarding the chest for
more Ninja Stars. Now go back to the beginning and ride the sand north. Open
the chest for some Cure Potions, then either defeat the enemies on the side or
jump over the chest. Either way, get to the next room.
Head up and jump over the stepping stones and then head into the water and go
through the dragon bones. Continue west and climb the ladder and head north.
Tristam will offer to sell you some explosives. Decline his first offer and
he'll cut the price in half. Before going further, go back to the east and
back onto land. Head up and destroy the pile of bones here and open the chest
for the Steel Shield. Now go back to the west and go through the door to the
next area.
There are a handful of enemies here that can give you some good experience if
you decide to fight them. Make your way to the north part of the room and use
a bomb to destroy the pile of bones. Defeat the enemy in front of the chest
and open it for some Ninja Stars. Now head to the west side of the room to
find the stairs leading to the next area.
Head all the way to the right and defeat the enemy here and open the chest for
some Explosives. You may not need them, but more bombs equals more fun for
you. Now head north and destroy the dragon bones here to form a passage. Go
to the right and into the wall to reveal a secret passage. Jump onto the
first stepping stone, then turn right and jump onto the next set of stones and
grab the chest for some Ninja Stars. Exit the secret room and continue to the
west. At the split, go south to find a chest guarded by two monsters, one on
each side. Defeat whichever one you want and open the chest for some more
Ninja Stars. Now head north and walk above the moving sand. Blow up the pile
of bones you come across and follow the path as it bends south and take the
stairs to reach the next area.
Head along the corridor and take a left. Defeat the enemy here and open the
chest for some more Ninja Stars. Head back and destroy the mouth of the
dragon here and continue north into the wall. Open the chest in this room for
some Seeds. Exit and go left at the split and continue left, avoiding the
moving sand. Follow the path and bomb the next dragon you see and go north
through the wall. Open the chest for the Quake Spell. Exit and take a right
and then follow the path and destroy the pile of bones here and go through the
door.
If you head a bit north, you'll find a red skeleton standing there. Jump on
the stepping stones and approach it to trigger a fight.
O---O----------------O

| O |----------------O
| S | 2,200 HP |
| S |----------------O
O---O
-This is your first major boss, and he can hit hard. Luckily, you can take
him down quickly if you use the right set of attacks. Flamerus will often use
Bone Missile or Twin Fang, so make sure to keep your health up. However, the
attack you'll want to watch out for is Rip Earth, which will just take a huge
chunk of your life, so make sure to have Tristam use Life to heal you or
himself up if needed. Use that new Quake spell you just found here, as it'll
do over 400 damage. Once you run out of Black Magic Points, switch to your
bombs and attack him with those, as they'll do over 200 damage. Alternate
between healing and attacking with Tristam.
After the fight, Tristam will run over and open the chest and play with the
new toy he found. After he leaves, examine the west side of the room and open
the two chests for some Explosives and Cure Potions. Now make your way to the
west side of the room and open the chest here for a Sand Coin. Now make your
way to the exit of the dungeon. Make your way to Foresta.

Open the chests in the town if you wish. Go visit Kaeli and give her the

Battlefield along the way.

-You've already faced the Basilisk already. Minotaur Zombies attack just like
the Minotaur you fought earlier in the game. The Zombies, though, tend to use
their status effects more often, so make sure to have some healing items ready
to use. Sand Worms are more of an annoyance than a hassle. They'll often use
Crunch to do some heavy damage, and from time to time they'll use Quicksand
to lower your speed and damage you. Use Axe attacks and Earth attacks against
them, as they're weak to them.

-You've already fought Mint Mints and Giant Toads, so you know what to expect

east side of town. You can buy Explosives there. Don't bother resting here

-You've already faced off against Giant Toads and Scorpions already, so you
should know how to face them already. Edgehogs are really dangerous. They
can paralyze you AND blind you, as well as hit you for heavy damage, so you'll

and a Fire attack should be able to kill them in one shot.

Once you enter, go left and defeat the enemies here and open the chest for
some Explosives. Now make your way to the right and follow the corridor.
Climb up the stairs you come across and follow the path. Eventually, the
floor underneath you will collapse, and you'll fall to the ground. Phoebe
comes down and gives you the Cat Claw. She'll then use Bow and Arrows. Once
in control, go a bit to the right and use the Claw to climb up the wall for a
chest containing some Heal Potions. Now climb the wall above you and make
your way back to the top. Go left and climb the stairs. Now go all the way
to the right and open the chest here for some Cure Potions. Go back to the
left and destroy the wall and head through it.
Go left, fighting the enemies along the way and you'll find two chests. One
of them contains Arrows, and the other contains some Cure Potions. Go back to
the right and exit the room. Head back to the wall on the left and grab onto
it. Scoot all the way to the left until you hit the wall then slide down.
Follow the path here and you'll eventually find a chest containing a few
Refreshers. Climb back up the wall and land at the very bottom. Now go
underneath the platform you were just on and continue to the left. Defeat the
enemy guarding the wall and climb it. Climb the next wall and head through
the next door.
There are some enemies here. Defeat all of them if you wish and grab the two
chests here containing some Arrows and some Cure Potions. Follow the path
until you come to a split: one path going north, and one path going a bit
southeast. Take the path going southest to find two more chests containing
more Arrows and some Heal Points. Take the north path this time and continue
to the next room.
Head south and then east and open the chest here for some more Arrows. Make
your way to the stairs, and climb up them and approach the Squid. Use the
examine button on it to trigger a fight.

-To start off the battle, have Phoebe attack one of the Sparnas here to take

Electrapulse, but it usually misses. He'll also try to blind you, so cure it
if needed. Have Phoebe use Thunder and have the Hero use Bombs once both of
the Sparnas are gone to take it down quickly.
After the Squidite is defeated, open the chest to obtain the Libra Crest. Now
make your way to the exit. Once you exit, you'll notice you now have access

guarding this pillar. Now push this pillar a couple of spaces to the west.
Make sure to get underneath it and push it up so it doesn't become stuck.
Push it up past the first pillar you see, and once you're able to go to the
right, push the pillar in that direction. Push it far to the right so that it
lines up between the platforms on the far right. Now go back and down. Push
this pillar all the way north. At the split, push it to the right this time
and then a bit north so it lines up between the platforms. Now go back to
where the entrance is and climb the ladder. Head north and jump on and then
off the pillar and go through the passageway. Open the chest here for some
Explosives, and head south. Turn west and jump over the pillar here and climb

-Make sure to cast Fire on the Desert Hags to get rid of them at the start of
the battle. Once they're done for, have Phoebe use Thunder on the Snow Crab
and then have the Hero use his Axe on it, as the Snow Crab for god knows what
reason is weak to Axe attacks. Heal up when needed, as the Snow Crab can do
some damage, especially if it uses Tornado on the Hero, who doesn't have any
protection against Wind attacks. But as you hit his weakness, he should fall
soon.
After the fight, Phoebe will give you Jumbo Bombs. Blow up the wall and exit.
Rest at Aquaria or Foresta if needed. When you're ready, go up to the Ice

to put you to sleep most of the time, so you'll want to get rid of them and
fast. Wind, Ice, and Lightning are the most effective against them. Mages
may seem a bit intimidating, but they're actually pushovers. Your physical
attacks should be more than enough to deal with them.

Once you enter head up and examine the statue on the right side. Hit it with
your sword. At the split, go right and then down, then right again as far as
you can. Then go north as far as you can, and then go right down the small
corridor. Grab the chest at the end for the Magic Mirror. This will turn all
invisible enemies visible. Go back to the left and then south a bit, and then
left again. Go north and grab the chest at the end for some Explosives. Go
back to the entrance and go left this time and you'll find two chests that
contain some Arrows and Refreshers. Line yourself up with the chest on the
right side and go north and follow the corridor here and go up the stairs.
Go up and a bit right to find a chest containing some Heal Potions. Take the
stairs back down and go back to where the two chests are, and take the left
corridor going north this time. Follow it until you reach a split going left
and right. Go right first and then south when given the chance. Follow the
path as it bends around, and climb the stairs. Go to the west and through
the wall. Grab the chest here for some Arrows. Go back down the stairs and
go west and keep going west. At the split, go south and you'll fine some more
stairs. Climb the stairs. In this room, go all the way to the east part of
the room to find a chest containing some Arrows. Go back left and then climb
the stairs here. Grab the two chests in this room that contain some Arrows
and Heal Potions. Now go back down the stairs and back to the west. Grab the
chest at the northern tip for some more arrows, and go back down the stairs
right below you.
Now go back north and then take a right and keep going right. Go all the way
north and then go right again and go up the next set of stairs. Grab the
chest in this room for some Arrows and go back down the stairs. Finally, go
left and then down and immediately take a right. Now follow this corridor and
go up the final set of stairs on this floor.
If you go south from the starting point, you'll find a chest containing some
more Arrows. Now make your way to the west part of the room and climb the
next set of stairs. From the starting point here, go right and follow the
path as it bends to the south. Follow it and take the left split for a chest
that has some Arrows in it. Continue south and open the chest for some more
Arrows. Jump over the chest and keep following the corridor and through the
wall. Hit the switch here with your sword, and make your way back to the
starting point of this room. Go left this time and then south and follow the
winding corridor. As soon as you can go right, take the first split going
north for two more chests containing some more freakin' Arrows and some
Explosives. Go back down and continue right and follow the corridor. Keep
going and you'll reach some stairs eventually.
On this floor, go to the left and follow the path is it bends around and climb
up the stairs. In this room, you'll need to be careful, as you'll fall off
the ledges, though we'll want to do that at least once. From the starting
point, go left and grab the two chests here containing Explosives. Make your
way to the right and follow the small path until you see a patch of ice in the
center. Blow it up, but don't fall down it yet. At the three way split, go
north and follow the path to find a chest containing some more Explosives.
Go back to the center, and go left and follow the path to the top. Jump down
to find another chest containing some Cure Potions. Go back to the center,
and fall off the ledge.
Grab the chest in here to obtain the Noble Armor. There are some more chests
here containing some Heal Potions, Arrows, Cure Potions, and Refreshers. Hit
the blue switch with your sword and make your way back to the 5th floor. Go
back to the center of the room and fall down the small square. Continue
falling and you'll find six blue switches. Hit either one and fall down one
last time. Open the chest underneath you to obtain the Knight Sword. Now
you're ready to do some decent damage. Grab the three chests on the side to
get some Arrows, Heal Potions, and Cure Potions. Go up and climb the wall
and examine the Golem. Go back down and go to the southeast area portion of
the room and go down the stairs. Now make your way to the northwest portion
of the room and go through the door. Climb the stairs here and climb the next
set of stairs. At the top, you'll find a blue switch. Hitting it reveals
two chests containing Arrows. It's up to you if you want to get them.
Continue north and you'll be in the final room. Follow the small, winding
corridor and you'll find that Golem from earlier. Approach him to trigger a
fight.

-This guy is really powerful, and he'll do some heavy damage to you. Lucky
for you, he's weak to Fire. Usually his attacks will do over 200 damage to
one or both characters, so make sure to heal with the Hero when needed. Keep
using Fire until you run out. Once you do, switch to your Knight Sword with
the Hero, and have Phoebe cast Thunder on him. Once he gets low on health,
he'll start using Snowstorm to damage both of you, and it'll heal him for
around 200 HP, but you can do more than that by now, so just keep attacking
and you'll win pretty quickly.

This place is big, and you can get lost if you don't remember where you came
from, so I'm just going to list where to get the two red chests, how to open
the door leading to the boss, and then I'll lead you to the boss.
From the beginning, go left and go down the ladder and then go left again and
go through the door. Follow the path and you'll find three chests containing
some Cure Potions, Heal Points, and Refreshers. Now go to the top of the
area and start jumping southward on the blocks and destroy the boulders to the
left. Continue and go through the door here. Go north and you'll find a red
chest. Open it up for the Moon Helm.
Now go back south into the previous room and make your way to the other side
of the lava. Take the southeast path this time and go down the ladder and
through the door. Follow this corridor and go through the door at the end.
Step on the switch and the door on your left will open. Go back through the
door you came through and follow the path, going through the next door. Climb
the ladder and go to the left and through the door.
Go back to the right and go up the stairs and continue to the right, past the
entrance and go down the stairs you come across. Go right and down the next
set of stairs and go through the door on your left. Take the first right and
follow the path as it bends around. Jump on the blocks and use a Mega Grenade
to destroy the boulder. Grab the red chest to obtain the Life Spell. Now
make your way back to the door you just came through and go through it.
Use your Claw and drop down the wall near you and go all the way left until
you find a door. Go through it. Go directly north and open the chest for
some Cure Potions. Go back down and go left and follow the corridor and go
through the door. Continue going north and follow the path as it bends and
you'll find two chests containing some Cure Potions and Heal Potions. Make
your way back to the entrance of this area and explore around to find some
stairs. Once you find them, go up and head for the east section of the room
by jumping over the gaps you come across. Once you're on the east side of
the room, go north and follow the path around and go through the door. Keep
going and grab the two chests in here containing some Cure Potions. Go
through the next door.
Climb the stairs on your left and go through the door up here. Follow the
path southward and go through the door to find another gap maze. Find some
stairs to go up and jump across the gaps until you find two gold bars next to
each other on the east side of the room. Find the next pair of stairs to go
down and follow the path southwards and go through the door. Go to the right
and go through the big door you opened earlier. Go north and hop across the
blocks on your left and then turn north and jump across the next set. Jump
across the blocks on the right side of the platform and you'll find a dragon
like enemy sitting up at the top. Heal up and apporach it to fight it.

-Hopefully you picked up the Moon Helmet, because the Dualhead's fire attacks

pummeling the Dualhead with White. His attacks hit hard, but Reuben should be
more than enough to tame this beast.
After the fight, open the chest near you for the Sun Coin. Head to the right
across the blocks and go through the door and head for the exit. There's a

and some Explosives. Now go east and scale the wall and examine the enemy for
a fight.

-The Gidrah isn't all that tough, but it can petrify you, so make sure to heal
up if you get petrified. Gidrah and the two Skuldiers are weak against Aero,
so abuse it in this fight. There's not much strategy here, as the Gidrah hits
for only about 200 damage or so, and you do a lot with Aero, so you should win
this fight quickly.
After the fight, talk with the tree face above you and the tree will bring you
to Windia. Use Exit. Enter the temple next you and talk with the man on the
cloud. Exit. There are two Battlefields here. These happen to be the last
two also.

-Oozes are just buffed up versions of Jellies. Though they're a bit more
powerful than their counterparts, they're still no threat to you. Simply just
use Bombs on them. Skuldiers are pretty dangerous, mainly because they can
use Doom Powder, which kills you instantly and it usually hits. Use Cure or
Aero on them to kill them quickly. Water Hags aren't that tough. They can
cast Cure on themselves, so make sure to take them out on your first turn.
Using Fire will help that out greatly.

This has got to be one of my favorite final dungeon themes ever. Seriously.
From the start, follow the path as it bends around and keep going until you
can't go anymore. Go down the ladder and ride the sand down. Keep riding
the sand down so you land in the southeast corner of the room. Climb the
stairs here and grab the chest here to obtain the Aegis Shield. Go back down
the stairs and go all the way to the west and climb the stairs. Follow the
path again, ignoring the first three sets of stairs. Go down the fourth.
Once you reach a wall, hug along it and go down again. Once you hit the next
wall, go right and then start pushing left. Once the stake comes into view,
use your Hook to grab onto it. Go up the stairs and examine the enemy to
trigger a fight.
O---O----------------O

| S | 10,000 HP |
| S |----------------O

-This guy is so easy it's pathetic. Simply just use Flare with the Hero and
have Phoebe use White this he'll fall in a matter of minutes.
After the fight, climb the stairs. You'll be in the Focus Tower. Open the
door. Now climb the stairs and go through the door ahead of you.
This is a rather simple room. All you have to do is hit all the blue statues
to reveal new paths, and the room is pretty linear as well, so you can't
really get lost. Once you reach the end, another boss is waiting for you.
O---O----------------O
| B | Stone Golem |
| O |----------------O
| S | 10,000 HP |

O---O
-Wow, are you kidding me? Two back to back pathetically easy fights? Use
Flare on the first turn to get rid of the Cerberus's. After that, keep
casting White on him and heal when needed. His attacks do a lot of damage,
but his HP is so low that it shouldn't pose as a problem.
After the fight, exit, and make your way up the stairs and enter the next
room.
Go to the right and head up to the first ledge. Jump on the blocks here and
then turn left and jump across those. Now go down and jump across those
blocks and use your Claw to cross the lava to the left. Now go north, jumping
across the blocks and go down the stairs. Go left and go down and then right.
Use your Claw to grapple on the stake to the right of you and go up and jump
across the blocks to meet the next boss.
O---O----------------O
| B | T. Head Wyvern |
| O |----------------O
| S | 15,000 HP |
| S |----------------O
O---O
-I'm starting to think that the programmers just halfassed their way. The
Twinhead Wyvern fights exactly like the Dualhead you fought earlier in the
game. You shouldn't have to worry about status effects now. Pummel him with
White and he'll fall pretty quickly.
Exit this room and climb the stairs and enter the next room.
What we have here is a little maze. From the start, go up. Turn right and
then go down and climb the ladder. Go right and follow the corridor until
you reach a ladder. Climb down and head into the tunnel. From here, go up
and then start going right. Go south once you get the chance to and then take
the first right and then the first north. Climb the ladder and go down and
left. Follow the path and go south at the split and you'll run into the boss.

-Big bird wants revenge. Sadly for him, he's just like his counterpart
Pazuzu, so you should know what to expect. Use Flare with the Hero and use
White with Phoebe. Remember not to attack him when he uses his Psychshield.
He'll use a different kind of Psychshield that damages you for 1 damage. That
Psychshield is just a fake, so keep pounding on him until he uses the real
one. Just keep yourself healed and he'll go down without too much trouble.
Exit this room and climb the stairs and enter the room.
Head up and examine the statue. Four chests in this room are available.
They contain 25 Cure Potions, 25 Heal Potions, 25 Seeds, and 25 Arrows. Save
your game and go through the door on the north end and follow the small
corridor to find our best friend, Dark King.
O---O----------------O
| B | Dark King |
| O |----------------O
| S | 40,000 HP |
| S |----------------O
O---O
-Dark King is no pushover. To start things off, have the Hero use Flare
whereas Phoebe should be using White. The first form isn't that hard. After
you do enough damage, he'll switch forms. He's more dangerous this time
around. Have Phoebe start acting as your main healer now and keep pounding
Dark King with Flares and Whites, and heal and use Seeds with Phoebe as
needed. The third form is byfar the nastiest. He'll use an attack called
Golden Web which will petrify Phoebe if it hits. He can also use Silver Web
which will Confuse, Poison, and Blind Phoebe if it hits her, so have those
Heal Potions ready. Keep using Flare. Phoebe should be healing every turn
by now. His final form is the same as his previous one. Only this time
he'll start using Mega White, Mega Flare, and Spider Kids. Spider Kids does
800 or so damage to one character, so make sure Phoebe is still healing.
Keep using Flare and keep supplying the Hero with Seeds and the Dark King
will fall eventually.
Cheap Tactic
------------
-If you want an easy win, use Cure with the Hero for the first two turns, and
then start using Flare with him and use White with Phoebe and the Dark King
will fall in a couple of turns.
After the fight, sit back and watch the ending. Congratulations! You've
beaten Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.

4.) Bosses
===================
O---O------------O
| B | Behemoth |
| O |------------O
| S | 80 HP |
| S |------------O
O---O
-There's really no strategy to this fight. You basically just whack each
other until one of you die. If the Behemoth doesn't land any Critical hits,
you'll win. If he does land a Critical hit, you'll most likely lose. If you
do lose, just choose to restart the fight.
O---O----------------O
| B | Flamerus Rex |
O---O------------O
| B | Squidite |
| O |------------O
| S | 2,500 HP |
| S |------------O
O---O
-To start off the battle, have Phoebe attack one of the Sparnas here to take
it out while you focus on the other. After Phoebe kills her Sparna, start
using Thunder on it to do over 4,000 damage. The Squidite will often use
Electrapulse, but it usually misses. He'll also try to blind you, so cure it
if needed. Have Phoebe use Thunder and have the Hero use Bombs once both of
the Sparnas are gone to take it down quickly.
O---O----------------O
| B | Snow Crab |
| O |----------------O
| S | 3,000 HP |
| S |----------------O
O---O
-Make sure to cast Fire on the Desert Hags to get rid of them at the start of
the battle. Once they're done for, have Phoebe use Thunder on the Snow Crab
and then have the Hero use his Axe on it, as the Snow Crab for god knows what
reason is weak to Axe attacks. Heal up when needed, as the Snow Crab can do
some damage, especially if it uses Tornado on the Hero, who doesn't have any
protection against Wind attacks. But as you hit his weakness, he should fall
soon.
O---O----------------O
| B | Ice Golem |
| O |----------------O
| S | 6,500 HP |
| S |----------------O
O---O
O---O----------------O
| B | Jinn |
| O |----------------O
| S | 6,000 HP |
| S |----------------O
O---O
-Once the battle starts, take out the Red Bones. Try to kill them before they
can confuse one of your characters. Once they're gone, start pummeling Jinn.
He has no weakness, so attack and use Life with Reuben to heal and use your
Mega Grenades with the Hero to get the most damage you can. Jinn has a nasty
habit of using Flame Pillar, which hits both characters for over 200 damage,
so make sure to keep yourself healed up. Other than that attack, you should
have no troubles taking him down.
O---O----------------O
| B | Medusa |
| O |----------------O
| S | 6,500 HP |
| S |----------------O
O---O
-Medusa can be a bit of a pain because she can paralyze and petrify you, and
you're not strong against Petrification yet. Start off by taking out the
Werewolves that accompany her. Have the Hero use Blizzard on one, while
Reuben should attack the other one. Once they're done, have the Hero start
casting White on her. It'll do over 1,000 damage to her. Have Reuben attack
and use Life to heal and use Healing Potions if needed. If the Hero needs to
use Healing Potions as well, then use them. Medusa can attack first sometimes
as well, so make sure to keep up with your healing and ailment curing.
O---O----------------O
| B | Dualhead Hydra |
| O |----------------O
| S | 14,000 HP |
| S |----------------O
O---O
-Hopefully you picked up the Moon Helmet, because the Dualhead's fire attacks
will just obliterate you if you didn't pick it up. If you did, it'll reduce
the damage you take to 300 from his fire based attacks. Ignore using Blizzard
and abuse White in this fight. Have Reuben heal whenever either of you get
low on health. If you run out of Wizard Magic Points, use a Seed and continue
pummeling the Dualhead with White. His attacks hit hard, but Reuben should be
more than enough to tame this beast.
O---O----------------O
| B | Gidrah |
| O |----------------O
| S | 13,000 HP |
| S |----------------O
O---O
-The Gidrah isn't all that tough, but it can petrify you, so make sure to heal
up if you get petrified. Gidrah and the two Skuldiers are weak against Aero,
so abuse it in this fight. There's not much strategy here, as the Gidrah hits
for only about 200 damage or so, and you do a lot with Aero, so you should win
this fight quickly.

an instant kill move, so make sure to use Life when needed. Just keep hitting
