My name is Alex Daniel and I have decided to make this guide because
of my love for RPG's (Role Playing Games) This SDD-1 game was once
impossible to play on emulators but now you can play it! In my
opinion, this is the best RPG on the SNES. I even think it is better
than the 'unbeatable' Chrono Trigger, which is also on the SNES. If
you want to know, it is the biggest SNES ROM dump EVER. That should
give you a good idea on how good and big it is. Well, this game is
still in Japanese and Dejap (Game Translators) are in the middle of
translating it so I am making a guide so if you badly want to play
it, you will be able to make progress. Well, here we go...
15/9/01 - Created Guide, Made 22 Sections (not final), corrected
Spelling mistakes (10%). Finished Controls Section.
Finished Battle System Finished A.R System Finished Anger
    Explosion, Finished Character System
12/10/01 - Not as much as I hoped, but I have managed to get the
skills section done, the spell section done and the battle arena is
finally complete. I have had many e-mails about that.
28/10/01 - I'm not paying much attention to the guide. Started on
main guide, only a bit done.
    Next update
    30/10/01 -
Version 0.3 - Start on the FAQ, Make Contents Page more detailed
(e.g. Each Character has their own section)Fix Spelling Mistakes
(20%) Work more on the actual Walkthrough. Oh yeah, Version 0.3 is
kind of a small update. But you at least have a bit of the guide to
work from. Version 0.5 is going to be a HUGE update.
    15/11/01 -
Version 0.4 - Work on the FAQ, nothing else
Version 0.5 - The mother of the updates so far. FAQ completed, Walk'
big chunk completed (100%) spelling mistakes corrected. Adding 3 new
sections. News section, Cheats and Tips and THE POWER UP SECTION. The
last section will probably appear later on. It will show you how to
Sorry, all these things have been postponed because of Website.
    Standard RPG Procedures
Here are tips that you can use to get through Star Ocean
    1. At the beginning, when you get to control Ratix (the hero)
Go outside the town and start leveling up. If you can reach
Level 10! (Which I did) You will have lots of Vol. (money)
Which means that you will be super strong. This will give you
a huge headstart in the game. REMEMBER: All experience is shared.
    2. Fight until all the enemies in the area do 0 damage to you.
Then add 1 or 2 levels on top of it. This way, you should always be
strong enough to beat the bosses.
    3. Save all your berries. You'll need them later. Especial try to
    keep the steaks.
    4. Always save. You never know what's around the corner.
    5. Just because armour is stronger, doesn't mean its better.
    6. If a character says 'do you know it', say no unless you actually
know what they are talking about. If you say you know, they won't
    tell you, AT ALL.
Well, for now, this should give you a good start.
    Controls (default)
    On map or in town:
    L button = None
    R button = None
    Y button = None
    X button = Open Menu
B button = Back up in menu/with direction button run with dash skill
A button = Access something in menu/talk to person
    In battle:
L button = Use Hissatsuwaza (Ratix etc.) First press attack
R button = Use Hissatsuwaza (Ratix etc.) First press attack
Y button = Move "Anywhere" on screen
X button = Open in battle menu (Tactics, Change, Spell (Jumon))
    B button = Cancel
    A button = Attack
    Battle System
Star Ocean's battle system is different from others. While most
RPG's today use the 'ATB meter' (active time bar) Star Ocean uses
something totally different. The 'FMAB' (full motion active battle)
has real time battle (accept for menu's) To make it clearer, you can
attack monsters whenever you want but this also means that the
monsters won't wait for your commands.
The game doesn't stop there. It simulates a real battlefield. This
means that you have to run up to the enemy to attack them. Just
like real life. The only exception is people casting magic (Jumon)
or people that can use bows. This also opens up new possibilities.
you can move behind the enemy doing more damage. You can close up
the movement of the enemy and 'sandwich' the enemy doing lots of
This of course makes battles very frantic and fast. A random
encounter can last as long as 5 seconds! Due to this fact, in battles
you can only control one character in battle. The rest are all
controlled by the AI. But the great thing is that the AI can
sometimes be very smart and in some cases, save your life!!! If
you want to control someone else (meaning you get bored of Ratix)
You can fight as someone else. In my opinion, this is the best
battle system EVER!!! It may be hard at first, but you will get used
    to it.
    A.R System (Approval Rating)
A.R, better known as the Approval rating is the attitude variable.
Each character has a separate A.R to another character. For example,
Ratix might have a high A.R for Iria but a low one for Cius. This
means that he likes Iria but doesn't like Cius much. At first, it
might seem pointless to manage these but I will tell you how
important they are. Measuring the A.R is a bit hard to do. No, this
is not Breath Of Fire 2. There is no meter. Well, to help you, I
will show you what are the A.R variables.
Through the actions of other characters. This is basically out of
Private Actions or through normal choices during the game. To be
VERY GENERAL, if you do nice things, the A.R will be higher than
normal. Be careful. Nice things can end up turning around and
smacking you in the, you know. Say Iria wants a dress (she doesn't
as far as I know) and you say she looks fat in it. This might
Make her learn a fat attack! (she doesn't) This is just a stupid
    example but take it seriously.
The other and probably the most important way to build you're A.R
Is during a battle. Say Iria is getting her a** whooped and she has
10 hp left. You then cure her with an item or kill the enemy that
was killing her. Her A.R would hugely increase. But you can say
the same thing if you don't help her. Her A.R would decrease
for EVERYONE that didn't help her.
As far as I know, it is impossible to measure the A.R of the
characters, but on a basic note, this is how I think the A.R
is if you are not nice or bad.
Ratix : Average for everyone. It is slightly higher for Dorn, Milly,
    Iria and Ashlay.
Milly : INCREDIBLY HIGH for Ratix, High for Dorn, Marvel and Ronixis.
Dorn : High for Ratix and Milly, slightly higher for Milly.
Ronixis: High for Iria, Marvel, and Milly, low for Cius.
Iria: High for Ronixis, Ratix, and Cius. Low for Marvel.
Cius: High for Fear, Ratix, and Iria. Low for Joshua.
Ashlay: High for Ratix, average for everyone else.
Joshua: Average for everyone, low for Cius and Marvel. Slightly
    higher for Ratix and Iria?
Marvel: Very high for Joshua, slightly high for Ronixis and Milly.
Perisie: Low for everybody except Ratix and Milly, who are higher.
Tinek: Low-to-average for everybody except the character who defeats
him, which will be significantly higher.
Well you have made the A.R higher for everyone. You are wondering
what the big pay-off is then. Well the first one is that they will
Be nice to you. But the pay-off is more in the battle sense. Party's
that are nicer to each other fight better than parties that hate
each other. Parties that are nicer will cure each other more than
    parties that don't.
anyway, in battles, if a person that has an high A.R to another
character that has an equally high A.R dies, the person will shout
in something like "I WILL KILL YOU" and have an Anger Explosion...
    Anger Explosion!!!
Man, the moment you experience one of these, you will try hacking
into your ROM to keep the state there forever. This special state
occurs in battles when one of your allies die. For example, if Ratix
has a high A.R for Iria, and she dies, he may have an anger explosion
Ratix will turn red and scream out something like
He will be 'on fire' and his attack power and speed will be doubled
and if you have a high A.R for that character, you may even have,
brace yourself, have triple power and speed! Imagine you done 300
Damage a hit. That's 900 damage! Is that power or WHAT!
    About E-mail
Well, just to tell you, I get about 400 e-mails a day (no seriously)
and about fifty of them are about Star Ocean. (no seriously) I have
barely started the guide! Please, can you add a subject line and
please wait until the next update to see if your question has been
answered. If the next update is too far away, ONLY THEN can you
e-mail me. Make sure that you put the subject line, I can't stress
that enough. I won't reply to any that don't have a subject line.
If you follow these, there is about a 80% chance of me replying.
Oh yeah, if you haven't noticed, I have a hotmail e-mail. If you have
MSN Messenger TM, you can add me to your list. If you ever see me
online (I will either be E=Mc2, G Angel or Adaniel) You can chat to
me! Be warned that if you are in Britain, I go on between 6pm to 12+pm
so if you live in America, you might see me at 10am your time! Well,
that just about does it. I almost forgot, this applies to solidsnake77

no problems. I started this new e-mail JUST for this guide + other
(please note that I don't know yet some of the characters fav. Foods)
    Ratix Farrence
    Age: 19
    Clan/Race: Fellpool
Country of origin: Clatos Village, in the country of Moore.
    Class: Kenshi
    Fight Style: Edarl Swordfighting
    Height: 174cm
    Weight: 68kg
    Favourite food/drink: Hoikoro
Ratix is the hero of the story. Don't like him? Tough! You HAVE to
play with him. Don't worry, his fighting style is unsurpassed. He
is from the village of Clatos, and his 'job' is to protect the
village with his friends Dorn and Milly. As you will notice through
the game, he is the type of person to stand back and stay out of it.
you can see this well with Milly, as she is crazily in love with him.
To sum him up, he is powerful in battle, cool under pressure and an
overall nice guy. Watch out though. He has a very strong sense of
judgement and put a friend on the line, and watch the anger
    Good points
High attack and stamina. Can attack repeatedly. Best fighter in game.
    Heh, Shichiseisouhazan!!! (You're dead)
    Bad points
Erm, Shichiseisouhazan is a big word? Can't think of any flaws.
    Milly Kiliet
    Age: 18
    Clan/Race: Fellpool
Country of origin: Clatos Village, in the country of Moore.
    Class: Houjutsushi
    Fight Style: Houjutsushi (Healer)
    Height: 164cm
    Weight: 46kg
    Favourite food/drink: Fruit Parfait
The best Houjutsushi healer in Clatos, next to her father but she
Really doesn't like to study under him. This is why she is so
Behind. (her magic, its crap at the beginning) She is totally in
Love with Ratix, who doesn't pay attention to her. What do you
Have to do to make it clear to him? Anyway, she is very emotional
And this serves as her primary motive. She totally relies on her
Magic so if she gets attacked, help her quick or watch that HP go...
    Good points
The BEST healer in the game
Just like Mint from Tales of Phantasia
Has a HUGE amount of MP
    Bad Points
Dies REALLY easy Touch and die. Keep in the back rank.
    Anyone like her voice?
    Not a good fighter.
    Dorn Marto
    Age: 19
    Clan/Race: Fellpool
Country of origin: Clatos Village, in the country of Moore.
    Class: Kenshi
    Fight Style: Ratix Style
    Height: 181cm
    Weight: 75kg
    Favourite food/drink: Steak 240
Dorn is Ratix's best friend and part and he is in the gang.
He has excellent weapon skills. Many say he is even better than Ratix
His sister who was extremely close to him died in a raid of thieves
The same in the beginning) She had a music box and Dorn keeps it
close to him as a memento of his dead sister. Even though his sister
died, he is a light-hearted person and is very optimistic. The
biggest of problems are tiny when Dorn is around. Although he
pretends not to like Milly (who likes Ratix!) he loves her to bits.
He thinks she is more important to him than Ratix. In battle, Dorn
Wields a huge longsword (Cloud anyone?) which does huge damage.
    Good points
Despite the size of his weapon, he attacks very quickly with huge
    Bad Points
Unless you use this guide, you get him for 10 mins (you can get him
    No Hissatsuwaza's
    Ronixis J Kenny
    Age: 38
    Clan/Race: Human
    Country of origin: Earth
    Class: Monshoutsukai (don't ask)
    Fight Style: ???
    Height: 179cm
    Weight: 64kg
    Favorite food/drink: Matsutake (Mushrooms)
Ronixis is the leader of the Federation Starship Kalnas. Sounds Star
Trek like. He is in the middle of fighting a ship called Rezonia. He
Is called to investigate the planet Roak (Ratix and co. homeplanet)
No, Ratix is not from Earth. Bet you didn't know that. Milly starts
To teach him magic but he hates magic. His wife died of an
incurable disease. He doesn't want to think that magic can save
Lives. He thinks science can. He has a good range of skills and
He uses a bow in battle. What a good battle combination.
    Good points
    Wide range of battle spells
He has a good bow so he can keep enemies at bay.
    Decent MP
    Bad Points
Has Millysitus TM If an enemy touches him watch that HP go
Careful with elemental enemies. The AI sometimes will cast spells
    That heals enemies!
    Iria Silvestolie
    Age: 23
    Clan/Race: Human
    Country of origin: Earth
    Class: Kakutouka
    Fight Style: Jujitsu, Martial Arts
    Height: 171cm
    Weight: 48kg
Favourite food/drink: Tama no Hikari (alcoholic drink)
She helps Ronixis on his mission. She is very loyal to him and
Even though she doesn't approve of some of his actions, she will
Still follow him. She is very more sociable than her captain. In
Fact, she loves alcohol! She can sometimes get emotional but
    Not as much as Milly.
    Good points
    Her Hissatsuwaza are quite powerful
    She has lots of stamina.
    Bad points
Seen how slow she attacks? Careful how you attack.
Has few weapons and armour so far as I have seen.
    Cius Warren
    Age: 20
    Clan/Race: Highlander
Country of origin: The country of Astral
    Class: Kenshi
    Fight Style: ???
    Height: 190cm
    Weight: 90kg
Favourite food/drink: Kokuryuu (A kind of alcohol)
Cius is the son of the leader of the Astral Army. He lost his mother
whom he really, loved, which could explain his lack of self-
confidence. When his father talked about handing down his power
to Cius, he hated the idea and left to improve his swordsman ship.
while Cius is VERY strong and always like to show it, he lacks self
confidence which decreases his power. The main purpose of his journey
is to build up self confidence and he wants to build up as much as
possible. When Ratix meets up with him, Cius is more skilled but
Cius sees a lot of potential in Ratix and wants to see how he
Improves (just like Ashlay) Cius is a party type of guy and loves
To swear, shout and drink to he gets into a fight. Cius wields a huge
Two-handed sword to deal out as much damage as possible.
    Good points
    One word. POWERHOUSE
    Learns decent Hissatsuwazas
He looks cool with his HUGE sword. (FF7 anybody?)
    Very funny to watch
    Bad Points
How long does it take to swing that thing!? 10 hours!?
Low MP. Save it for boss fights.
    Erm... not many really.
    Joshua Jerand
    Age: 20
    Clan/Race: Featherfolk
    Country of origin: Silvalant
    Class: Monshoutsukai
    Fight Style:???
    Height: 172cm
    Weight: 20kg
Favourite food/drink:??? (Any help would be mentioned)
Joshua is part of the Featherfolk race, the winged people that live
in the mountains. The Featherfolk are pretty much unheard of accept
in Joshua's case. His parents were killed at a young age and his
sister was abducted. He managed to survive and a human cared for him
until he was strong enough to get revenge. He is searching the world
for his abducted sister. Joshua is a quite man and because of the
incidents that has happened to him, he hates any kinds of violence.
Be warned, if anyone gets in his way, he will do anything to
complete his mission and will become quickly angered. Joshua is very
weak physically but is good with magic. Joshua is better with
    offensive magic than healing magic.
    Good Points
Can cast both healing and attacking spells.
    Can cast EXTENTION
High MP so he can cast his spells.
    Bad Points
He's in-between Ronixis and Milly in usefulness.
Acts like has got 1 HP. Make sure he doesn't get hit.
Watch the elements of enemies. He may cast spells that heal them.
    Fear Mell
Age: Doesn't say, but around 20-25
    Clan/Race: Highlander
Country of origin: The country of Astral
    Class: Kishi
Fighting Style:??? (Anyone know? It's in jap')
    Height: Doesn't say
    Weight: Doesn't say
Favourite food/drink: Baked Turban Shell (found a translation)
Fear is the top level general in the Astral Army. She is very loyal
To the leader, Warren (Cius father) You could say that she is his
Dog. She is a good childhood friend of Cius and she is very masculine
, just like Cius. She is very forceful and always gets what she wants
She is angry that Cius left the Astral Army and every time she thinks
Of him, she thinks he is a coward. She will fight for her friends,
Whatever it takes which makes her a powerful ally. She fights in a
??? (Please help, e-mail plz) style which means that she can use
    Raven Swords boomerang like daggers.
    Good Points
In my opinion, the third best fighter in the game, next to Cius/Dorn
    Can equip decent armour
    High HP
    Bad Points
    Doesn't have good Hissatsuwazas
That's about it. A top class fighter
    Marvel Frozen
    Age: Unknown (About 20)
    Clan/Race: Unknown
    Country of origin: Unknown
    Class: Ancient Master
    Fighting Style: ???
    Height: Doesn't say
    Weight: Doesn't say
    Favourite food/drink: Wine
There is always one character who's past is unknown. No matter what
RPG. Her past is full of mystery and it's up to you to find out.
Her quest is to find the mercenary "Shinku no Tate" and succesfully
Kill s/he (I have NO idea yet) who killed her parents and older
Brother. As I said before, nothing is known about her past
(until you complete the game) Something about Joshua bothers
her and thinks something is wrong with him. She fights with a magical
weapon called the Raven Orb that flies around her body, giving her
    imaginable strength.
    Good Points
Can use magic in physical attacks
    Very powerful Hissatsuwazas
    Bad Points
Not one of the best fighters
Has the lowest defence for a fighter character
    Age: Probably around 10-12.
    Clan/Race: Lesser Fellpool
    Country of origin: Moore
    Class: Neko Kakutouka
    Fighting Style: Neko Kakutou
    Height: Short
    Weight: Doesn't say
    Favourite food/drink: ???
Perisie is the last of her kind. The rest of her race are now extinct
Which leaves her as the lone soldier. She is a cat like human and you
Can see many of her cat-like abilities. She has a very good musical
Sense and you first see her playing on the Ocarina (Zelda, remember)
She fell prisoner to the Velcants and has spent a good deal of her
Life in a dungeon. She has very bad social skills but they get
Better as you go through the game. She fights in the Neko Kakutou
Style, she transforms into a cat like form even more during battle
And uses claws and her feet to fight. She can even summon cats
    Into battle!
    Good Points
Unless you have never seen a cat before, they are lighting fast and
She gets these abilities to use in battles. She is so fast she can
Get right across the screen in about 2 seconds and can dodge attacks
Too. The longest good thing I have ever said
Don't wanna sound like a freak but she is really cute and says some
    Nice things...
    Bad Points
Can't equip a lot of armour so this means she will take quite a bit
    Of damage.
    Ashlay Barnbelt
Age: Probably in his late 50s or early 60s.
    Clan/Race: Highlander
    Country of origin: Astral
    Class: Kenshi
    Fighting Style: Mastered Edarl Swordfighting
    Height: Doesn't say
    Weight: Doesn't say
    Favourite food/drink: Sensou Jelly
Ashlay is an old war hero from the Great War of Makai. He has
Mastered the Edarl Swordfighting skill and he used to be the
Best fighter in the Astral Army. He thinks it is an art to defeat
Enemies, not a just slaying. He is trying to promote 'the true
Way of fighting' but know one listens. He says that they fight
In a bloodthirstiness manner. They don't see the real honour
Of killing someone in style. When he sees Ratix using a similar
Style of Edarl Swordfighting only a bit varied, he sees great
Potential in him so he wants to see how he turns out. Ashlay
Is happy to see Ratix who likes the art of the fighting. He
Can't use shields since his left arm was damaged in battle.
    Good Points
Can use almost all the techniques Ratix can use
    Bad Points
Very slow to attack because if his age and his stamina
    Has next to nothing MP
    Will eventually be suppressed
    Tinek Arukena
    Age: Probably around 15-16
    Clan/Race: Lycanthrope
    Country of origin: ???
    Class: Kakutouka
    Fighting Style: ???
Height: As a man, short. As a wolf tall.
    Weight: Doesn't say
    Favourite food/drink: Omusubi (Rice ball)
Tinek has 1 purpose in the game. He is a PURE fighter. He knows
nothing but to fight. He spends all his time in the Tatoroy Arena
trying to make a name for himself. He is a short boy but being a
Lycanthrope, he can turn into a huge, powerful wolf. He is very
calm and after being beaten by Ratix, he wants to join him to find
out how powerful Ratix can get (which is INSANELY powerful) He is
so focused that he rarely gets into conversations and is much of
a loner. In battle he uses staves and long poles.
    Good Points
    Has a huge attack range
    Is very calm
    Bad Points

[At the Patroller's HQ in Clatos Village]
Dorn: Geez, there's nothing to do
Rati: Well, that's because it's peaceful.
Dorn: Hey, what do you think about Milly?
    Ratix: Hmm...what do you mean?
Dorn:This is just between friends but...she's really a ditzy airhead, is a
Dorn: And to top that, she's not very smart, really annoying...
Milly: Who are you talking about!?
    Dorn: Er....I...
Milly: If you have the leisure to say that get to work!
Dorn: But there's nothing to do!
Milly: Just do a patrol around time. Hey, I'll even come along too.
    Dorn: I guess I don't have a choice.
    Milly: OK, let's go patrol.
    Ratix: What the--!!?
    Man: Uwaaa....it's the thieves!
    Girl: Kyaaa!
    Dorn: An enemy!*
    Milly: Unforgivable!*
    Ratix: Let's go!*
    Dorn: Let's kick their butts!
    Ratix: Let's go!*
Thief Bitts: They're tougher than we thought, aren't they?
Oyabun Vayard: Pathetic! Rubbed out by a bunch of fucking kids! I'll...
Ratix: We're not kids! We're the guardians of this town!
Dorn: Pathetically weak leaders shouldn't talk like that!
    Milly: Right! You weaklings!
Vayard: Wh, wh, what did you say!?
    Bitts: Let's get 'em boss!
    Townsman: Wow, thanks.
    Ratix: Just doing our jobs.
    Milly: Oh, aren't you cool?
    That night...
    [In Ratix's room]
Ratix's mother: Here's your tea. Make yourselves at home.
Dorn: Geez, today's thieves were so easy!
Milly: What are you saying, it was pretty dangerous!
Milly: Ratix, what's the matter? You don't look happy.
Mother: He's been like that a lot lately.
    Dorn: See you.
    Ratix: Yeah.
Milly: Show me a happy face tomorrow, Rati.
Milly: Sorry to be a bother.
    Mother: Come again.
    [Ratix goes to bed]
Ratix: There's nothing to do....because it's peaceful, huh...
    [The next morning]
Mother: Shouldn't you be going to work yet?
    Mother: Hey you, wake up!
    [At Patroller's HQ]
Milly: Ratix, you're late again. Dorn's already inside.
Dorn: You're late, Rati. Let's go inside
    Ratix: Wha's the matter?
Elder: Oh, Rati. We have a problem. Read this. It's this letter...
Letter: Please, send help. In Cool Village there has been an outbreak of a
    strange disease.
There is much suffering. ---Elder of Cool
    Milly: What do we do?
Dorn: We go help them, of course!
Milly: If we use the herbs that grow on Mt. Metox...
    ???: Wait!
    Milly: Daddy!
    Elder: Maltos-san, will you go?
Maltos: Yes, it's my job. If it's a strange disease, it will probably be no
Elder: If Clatos' best Houjutsushi is going I'm relieved.
Maltos: I'll be back soon, so don't go to a dangerous place like Mt. Metox.
Elder: OK, I'll leave it to you.
Dorn: We'll let you know if anything comes up.
    [That night]
Dorn: Hey you two, cheer up. I understand how Milly feels...but you're
    really strange, Rati....tell
    us what's the matter.
    Rati: .......
    Two days later
    [Voices from outside Ratix's house]
???: Yesterday Daddy didn't come back. I'm going after him.
???: Dont do that, he said he'd call us if he needed us.
    ???: But....I can't wait any longer!
[Ratix goes outside. A carrier pigeon brings a message to Dorn]
    Milly: Rati....
    Milly: What does it say?
Note: Cool's strange disease is incredibly contagious. Houjutsu doesn't
    work at all. Furthermore,
I've been infected. It's not transmitted through the air, but you can be
    infected just by touching a
sick man's shoulder. The disease stays dormant about 1-2 hours. Once it
    starts in less than 3
days the infected one's body completely becomes stone. Cool is already
    finished. Don't come
    near. Maltos Kirit.
    [Milly runs away]
    Dorn: Milly, Wait!
Dorn: She's gotta be worrying about her dad and is going to Cool! Let's hurry.
[After first fight outside of town]
    Ratix: What's the matter, Dorn?
    Dorn: No, it's nothing....
    [At Cool]
    Dorn: It's Milly, follow her!
[At the house where Milly and her father are]
    Maltos: Don't come any nearer!
    Maltos: .....You can't touch me.
    Milly: Daddy....
Maltos: You can't help me any more.
Milly: So I can't be with you and hold your hand at a time like this?
    ....it's not fair....
Maltos: Rati-kun, Dorn-kun....please take my daughter back to the village.
    Dorn: Milly....let's go...
    Maltos: Milly!!
[Milly is alone back at Clatos]
    Milly: Sorry, everyone...
    ???: Wait.
    Milly: ....Dorn....
Dorn: Were you going to go alone?
    Milly: ....
Dorn: You're going to get the medicine on top of Mt. Metox, right? I can
    tell whatever you're
thinking. You were going to go somewhere that dangerous alone....!!
    Milly: Sorry...
    Dorn: ....Bring your head up....
    Milly: Huh?
Dorn: Cheer up....as long as we get that medicine, your dad will certainly
    get better, right?
    Milly: ....yeah...but...
Dorn: I hate seeing your sad face more than anything else in the world...!!
    Milly: Dorn?
    Dorn: I...I...
    Dorn: !!!!
    [Dorn falls to the ground]
    Dorn: Ooh...
Milly: Dorn, what's wrong? Are you OK?!
Dorn: Stay away!! Uh, no, it's nothing...
Milly: But....Ah, hold on, I'll get someone!!
    [Milly runs to Ratix's house]
    Milly: Rati! Dorn is...!!
    Dorn: ...Ouch...
Dorn: Crap....whenever there's trouble, her thoughts go straight to
    Rati....what's with that....
    [In Ratix's house]
    Milly: Rati!! Dorn is...!!
    Rati: Let's hurry!!
    [Outside, with Dorn]
    Milly: Are you OK?
Dorn: Huh? What are you talking about?
    Milly: But, you were just...!!!
Dorn: Didn't I say it was nothing? Don't worry about it, it was just a
    cramp. More importantly, Rati,
Let's go get the medicine from Mt. Metox. We have to save Milly's dad.
Rati: Yeah. It's north of Cool....
Dorn: Right. There there are Feldworms, so we have to be careful.
    [At the mountain]
Dorn: There are Feldworms here, so let's be careful.
Milly: They'll stick their eggs on you if they touch you.
Rati: And it's serious trouble if those eggs hatch.
    [Feldworm Fight]
    Dorn: You OK?
    Milly: Yes.
Rati: Be sure to get rid of the Feldworm Eggs.
Milly: Right, we don't want them hatching on us.
    Rati: Yeah.
    [Feldworm Fight]
    Milly: You OK?
    Dorn: Don't touch me!!
Milly: What's with that attitude, I'm just worrying about you.
Dorn: No, it's nothing so don't worry...
Ratix: It can't be that you....!!!
Dorn: ....It looks that when I touched the pigeon I got infected.
    Milly: Oh no....
Rati: You'd better go back home.
Dorn: No, the transformation hasn't started yet so I'm OK.
    Milly: But...
    Dorn: I'm OK!!!!
[At the top of the mountain]
Milly: If we bring that flower back...
[Two people beam down in front of the herb]
Man: There shouldn't have been anyone here...
Woman: When we used the scanners 30 minutes ago, there was none.
Man: Well, since they've seen us, we have no choice. Let's have them help us.
    Rati: Who are you!!?
Milly: Are you here to take the medicine?
Man: To say that there's no need to be afraid....wouldn't do any good, would it.
Man: My name is Ronixis J. Kenny. How should I begin...
Dorn: Where did you come from?
    [Iria starts to approach]
    Milly: Stay back!
Woman: My name is Iria Silvestory. I'll explain in the Captain's place.
Iria: I'll let you know from the start though that we are your allies.
    Milly: Really?
Dorn: No way! There's no way suspicious guys like these would be our allies!
Rati: ...We're just here to get the medical herb.
Iria: If you want to cure a disease, we've got something better than
    medical herbs.
    Rati: Who are you...?
Iria: Do you feel like talking yet?
Rati: As long as it's just talking...
Iria: It would be difficult for you to believe this, but we have come from
far far away to save you.
Rati: If that's the case, then why didn't you come to help us earlier?
Iria: We are bound by something called the "Interplanetary Protection
    Treaty" which prevents us
    from contacting still-developing people.
    Rati: Still-developing...?
Iria: We've come from over the sky...from another planet. This is an exception.
Rati: From above the sky? Another planet?
    Iria: Are you gods?
Iria: We're not gods, were people just like you.
    [Iria turns around]
Iria: Althogh we don't have tails.
    Milly: Oh, she's right!
Iria: Speaking of this, our enemy Rezonia broke the Interplanetary
    Protection Treaty, and fired a
biological weapon on this planet designed to trigger a formerly dormant
    contagious disease.
Rati: So it's becasue of these Rezonia guys that everyone's turning to stone?
    Iria: That's correct.
     Milly: Good god...Unforgivable...
Iria: We have come to analyze the virus.
Ronixis: So, like I said, we came to help you. In a way that you couldn't
Milly: I can't believe it, but if you can cure the disease...
Ratix: I don't really believe you either, but if you can heal our friend here...
Iria: I don't know for sure if we can cure it or not, but if you come with
us, and we can make a
    Rati: Go above the sky?
    Ronixis: You could say that.
Ronixis: However, if you come with us, you probably will never be able to
    return to this planet
again, because of that Interplanetary Protection Treaty we talked about
    earlier. If you want we
can still treat your meeting us like it was just some dream.
Dorn: I'm going with these people. If I stay here I'm just going to turn to
    stone anyway.
Milly: I can't decide whether to leave my father and everyone forever, or
    to leave Dorn forever...
Ratix: Milly, Let's go with Dorn. If we stay here, it's a shame, but we
    can't do anything.
Ratix: Not being to see everyone in Clatos again is sad, but more
    importantly I want to save
Iria: I guess it looks like you've decided. OK then, let's go.
Iria: Close your eyes for a bit.
    Milly: Huh?
    [Beam me up, Scotty...]
    Milly: Kyaaaa...
    Milly: aaaaa.....
    Milly What was that?!
Ratix: Where the hell are we?!
    Ronixis: This is our ship.
Milly: You really are gods, aren't you?
Iria: We're not gods. We're just a little more advanced than you. Someday
    your people will attain
    this power too.
    Rati: ....
Ronixis: Well then, le'ts bring your friend straight to the Medical Center.
[En route to the Medical Center]
    Rati: The floor is moving!
Milly: Just like that door opened on its own!
Ratix: Incredible...t's all stuff I've never seen before!
Ronixis: Come to think of it, we don't know your names yet.
    Ratix: I'm Ratix Ferrence.
    Milly: I'm Milly Kirit.
    Dorn: ....Dorn...Malto...
Iria: Captain, his condition is worsening.
    Ronixis: Yes, let's hurry.
    [At the Medical Center]
    Rati: What is this?
Iria: You must be surprised, but this is our medical center.
Ronixis: Doctor, I leave him to you.
    Doctor: Yes, sir.
Ronixis: Well then, there's no point for you two to stay here. Why don't
    you have a look around
    the ship?
Iria: Captain, that would violate the Protection Treaty.
Ronixis: Isn't that irrelevant now? I'm going to the bridge. You guide them
    Iria: Ah, Captain! Geez!
    [At the elevator room]
Iria: The circular floors you see are elevator pods.
    Ratix: Elevator Pods?
Iria: Using this the floor will move. To the left is the bridge, and to the
right is the rest of the ship.
[Wander around, explore the Holodeck, "Refresh room," the bridge, etc. At
    the bottom floor:]
Iria: This is Calnas' entry point.
Ronixis: Iria, Bring Rati and Milly to the Medical Center. I'm going there too.
    Iria: Understood.
Ratix: Where did that voice just come from?
Iria: We use something called a Communicator to talk to people who are far
    away. It would
appear that the doctor is calling us.
    Milly: Is he all better?
    Iria: I don't know.
    [At the Medical Center]
    Milly: How is it?
Ronixis: Don't be in such a hurry. The Doctor will explain everything.
    Milly: All right...
    Doctor: *clears throat*
Doctor: Well, according to our examination, we determined the cause of the
    disease, and
undertand its properties. However, curing the disease is impossible by
    Earth's modern doctors.
Milly: Don't you have all this incredible power! Have you searched
    carefully? Come on!
Doctor: Miss, that power is what allows us to know when we are outclassed.
Doctor: ....the disease is transforming his body at an alarming rate. No matter what vaccine we
made it would soon have no effect. However....that doesn't mean there's no
    chance. By looking
at the structure of this virus, we can see that is a parasitic virus.
Therefore, if we find the first
infected being, in other words the host, and by looking at his blood
    composition, we can create a
Milly: Can you save him? [speaks in polite form] No, I mean, can you save him?
    Doctor: Yes.
Rati: But in 2 or 3 hours he'll transform. We have no time to search for
    that host.
Doctor: It sounds strange, but even if transformed his life signs will
    remain in stasis. Therefore if
we have a cure, he will return to normal.
    Ratix/Milly: ???
Doctor: You don't need to understand the details. Basically, once he
    changes to stone we can
    return him to normal.
Ronixis: But it's not that easy. Rezonia is our enemy and is not likely to
    tell us the first host.
Iria: That's right. But what confuses me the most is, why did they fire
    that biological weapon at
    Roak in the first place?
    Rati: Roak?
Ronixis: That's the name we gave your planet. As Iria says, there's no
    indication of why Rezonia
wants to turn the Roakians into stone.
    [Alarm goes off]
Speaker: Unknown life form spotted on Transporter Deck! Repeat...
    Iria: Unknown life form?
    Ronixis: That's impossible. Let's go.
    [To deck]
Crewman: Captain, this is the creature.
Ronixis: What the hell is this?
    Ratix: Feldworms!
    Ronixis: What is that!?
Ratix: It looks we got their eggs on us in the mountain after all.
Iria: If that's the case, then why didn't the scanners pick it up?
Ronixis: I don't know. We'd better get rid of these things.
Crewman: But the phasers don't work on them!
    Ronixis: What?! That's impossible!
    Rati: Leave this to us.
    Ronixis: Will you be OK?
    Rati: Let's go Milly!
    Ronixis: Are you all right?
Rati: Yes. This is all of them, isn't it?
    Iria: Look out!
[A previously Hidden Feldworm runs out and attacks Ratix]
    Rati: Ow!
Rati: Damn, there were still some left...
[Ratix slashes the Feldworm, killing it instantly]
    Milly: Are you OK?
Rati: Yeah, it's only a light wound.
    Ronixis: It disappeared...
    Rati: Huh?
Ronixis: When it attacked you, it disappeared. I can't even see its body.
    Milly: Huh? It's here...right here.
    Ronixis: What???
Iria: So, you can see it...
Iria: As soon as your blood spilled on it it disappeared. Let's go to the
    medical center.
Ronixis: I leave the rest to you.
    [Medical Center]
Iria: Doctor, is there something that makes the Roakians' bodies different
    from Earthlings and
    other similar humanoid races?
Doctor: Oh yes. Internal organs, muscles, and nervous system and all other
    systems are exactly
the same as Earthlings, but there is one thing that is very different.
Iria: It's their blood, isn't it?
Doctor: Yes. Their blood composition differs greatly from Earthlings. There
    are lots of
differences, but the easiest differences to understand is the hemoglobin
    which carries oxygen in
the blood has high amounts of copper.
Ronixis: What is it you're getting at, Iria?
Iria: It's just a possibilty, but by turning Roakians into stone, could
    there be something they could
gain? That would explain why they fired the biological weapon at Roak.
    Ronixis: What would you think?
Iria: For example, their blood is an unknown substance...
    Ronixis: You can't mean.....a weapon?
Iria: It's possible. Furthermore, it also can't be picked up by radar.
Milly: Then they're killing us to make a weapon!?
Iria: We don't know for sure yet.
Rati: But, that would be an explanation.
Ronixis: Anyway, if tha'ts the case, then some of the petrified Roakians
    would have disappeared.
Let's check that out. I'm going to the bridge.
Iria: Doctor, try to computer simulate a weapon made from the material
    from the transformational
    properties of that blood.
Doctor: There are tens of thousands of combinations!
Iria: All we can do is try.
    Doctor: Very well.
[Ratix and Milly are alone in the Medical Center]
Rati: I'm thinking that this is all because I wanted something interesting
    to happen...
Milly: What are you talking about? It doesn't have anything to do with that.
    Ratix: But...
Milly: If I only had more power...
    [Doctor enters]
Doctor: The Captain wants you to come to the bridge. You can use the left
    Ratix. OK.
Milly: I wonder what it is?
    Ratix: Who knows?
    [The bridge]
Ronixis: Ah, you're here. Listen to what we've found from Iria.
Iria: Comparing the population and number of human statues from before,
    there are 20 million
people missing. How did they get them away without our finding them?
    Ratix: Then, it really is...
Iria: There's no saying for certain that it's a weapon.
Ronixis: But I can't think it would be for any good purpose.
Ronixis: Sorry. By the way, we are to head to Earth. We're going to try to
    get a way to get
Rezonia to give us the host. I'd like to have you report to the rest, so
    come with us.
    Doctor: Captain, Dorn-kun's condition is...
    Ronixis: I'll be right there.
    Milly: I'm going too.
Doctor: His major systems have begun to transform. It's a dangerous state.
    Ratix: Dorn...!!
    Dorn: ....Captain.....I have a re..request.
    Ronixis: What?
Dorn: ....at least...I want to die at home...
Ronixis: Die....you're just going to sleep for a little while.
Dorn: But if you can't get the blood...
    Ronixis: ......
    Dorn: Please.
    Ronixis: ....All right.
    Ronixis: Prepare the transporter.
    Doctor: Yes sir.
Milly: Let us come with Dorn.
    Ronixis: You two...
Ratix: We promise to come back.
Ronixis: Very well. Just to make sure, I'll have Iria go with you.
    Ratix, Milly: Thank you.
Ronixis: Doctor, beam Dorn directly into his bed.
    Doctor: Understood.
Ronixis: Iria, I'm counting on you.
    Iria: Yes, captain.
    [Dorn's house]
Dorn: To tell the truth, there's something I wanted to give you before I die.
Milly: What are you talking about, you're just going to sleep for a while.
Dorn: Bring me that music box from on top of the desk.
    [Ratix picks it up]
    Dorn: Give it to Milly.
Milly: This was your sisters...I can't take it.
    Dorn: Please take it...
Dorn: My sister gave me th...
[Dorn turns to stone. Milly falls to the ground crying. Ratix goes up to
    the now-petrified Dorn on
    the bed]
Ratix: Don't worry. I'll save you for sure.
Iria: It's a shame, but let's go. To save him.
    Ratix: Right.
    [At the bridge, later]
Ronixis: Now we're going to a planet called Earth. We've prepared a room
    for you so you can
    rest there.
Ratix: Yes, thank you very much.
    Engineer: Sector Alpha's point 001 Mark 269, Warp 6.
Ratix: Milly, look at this, it's pretty.
Milly: It's beautiful....like an ocean of stars....
Ronixis: From here, we're going to the Federal Center on Earth.
    Ratix: Something's following us!
    Milly: What's THAT!?
Iria: Where? What are you looking at?
    [Starship Materializes]
Ronixis: What the? It just appeared out of nowhere!! Some kind of space
Scientist: No, it seems different! Beforehand there were no gravity waves.
Ratix: I TOLD you something was coming!
Iria: Come to think of it, you two could see it?!
    Iria: An unseeable substance!!
    Ronixis: That ship is?!
Communications chief: Captian! They're sending us a message!!
    Ronixis: Play it!
Message: We have come from Rezonia. We have no intention of fighting. Repeat...
    [Meeting room]
Admiral: So then, you want to make a truce with us?
    Rezonia emmisary: Yes.
Rezonia: We didn't even want to fight Earth in the first place.
Admiral: So it's true that there was a 3rd party behind Rezonia...
    Ronixis: A third party?!
Rezonia: Yes. It was coercion. They have fantastic technology, and they
    were responsible for the
destruction of Planet Ise half a year ago.
Rezonia: We don't know why. But they were the ones who gave us the virus
    and the new
    material technology.
Admiral: So that's it. I understand most of it.
Ronixis: The biological weapon fired upon Roak...In other words, a Vaccine
    for the virus or the
host....we'd like you to give it to us.
    Rezonia: That's impossible.
Rezonia: Neither the host nor a vaccine exists any more. So, it's a shame
    about Planet Roak,
    Milly: I can't believe it...!!
Rezonia: We know pretty much where the virus came from, but that
    information won't do any
    good now...
Admiral: Well, I guess there's nothing we can do. Seeing as how there's no
    way, I guess we'll
have to give up on rescuing Roak...
Ratix: What!! You're going to just abandon us!!?
    Iria: Ratix, settle down!!
    Ratix: Shit!
    [Coffee shop]
Ratix: Even though we came all this way to save everyone...
Milly: What on earth will we do now?
Iria: To think that the virus was engineered on Roak 300 years ago...So
    getting a vaccine is
impossible...The federation has officially abandoned the Roak rescue
mission. All I can do is
    apologize. I'm really sorry.
Ronixis: It's not all that impossible, is it...
Ronixis: It's just that the chance is extremly slim...right?
    Iria: Planet....Stream...!!
Iria: I was wondering what you were saying...that's impossible!
Ronixis: Well, I can do something about getting into the ship.
    Iria: But...!!
    Milly: There's still a way? Then....Please!!
    [At the Ship]
Guard: Captian, I haven't heard any orders to depart, but?
Ronixis: I was given them. Don't worry. Let us by.
    Guard: Yessir!
Ronixis: We haven't got time to dally. Let's get to the bridge before the
    idiot guards find us.
Iria: Everything's OK. We can depart soon.
Ronixis: OK, Close the entrance hatch.
Ratix: Will just the two of you be OK?
Ronixis: Yeah, cause we've got the Computer.
    Ratix: Computer?
Ronixis: Hm...it's difficult to explain, but it's a machine that helps out
    in various ways.
    Ronixis: Well then, let's launch...
Iria: But if we go to Planet Stream we'll get court-martialed!
Ronixis: If we screw up it's hard labor for the rest of our lives. But
    there's no turning back now.
Iria: I'm so unlucky to have gotten stuck with a superior like you...
    Milly: ....Sorry....
Iria: You don't need to apologize. It's unlucky...or even if I say so, I'm
    not reluctant to go there.
Iria: I'll follow you, Captain. So you better lead me the right way, OK?
    Ronix: Mm....
Ratix: By the way, what exactly IS Planet Stream?
Iria: Even we aren't quite sure.
Ronixis: It's someplace we found in deepspace exploration.
Iria: Stream was a place that is said to have had fantastic technology long
    before we started to
explore space. But we don't really know anything about it.
    Ratix: What's there?
Ronixis: A Time Gate. We'll use it and transport to Roak in the past.
Iria: We don't yet understand the structure of the gate, so it's off limits
    to go to.
Iria: We'll be within orbit of Roak very soon.
    Ronix: Right.
Iria: (A living door....Will the guardian of the Time Gate accept us?)
    [On Stream]
Ronixis: According to the Rezonian emissary, the mysterious 3rd party went
    to Roak in order to
    get the virus.
Iria: If you calculate from today it was hundreds of years ago.
Ronixis: Right. They've got to have technology far beyond what we can even
    think of. We'll
transport to Roak before they get there and get the virus ourselves.
Iria: However, there is the problem of whether or not the door will accept us...
Ronixis: Gate! Listen to our wish! Please let us go to Roak 300 years in
    the past!!
???: I am ther Guardian of the gate. Seeing your reason, you apparently
    wish to save
Guardian: Very well. Throw away your weapons and communications devices.
    Then I shall let
you enter a different world. So I shall open the gate...
    Ronixis: All right!
Iria: This must be proof that we don't intend to change the flow of history
    or commit some crime.
    Ronixis: OK, let's enter.
[Ronixis and Milly jump into the void, and Iria trips. Ratix goes to help
    her, and then they jump
    into the portal.]
....Dorn, Just you wait....I'll save you...
    And so the adventure begins!

Ratix wakes up on a beach next to Iria, and wakes her up. She looks
Around and doesn't see the others. She tells Ratix that because
You stopped and helped me, we went in at different times and we must
Have been separated. Noticed it night? As you get closer to Clatos
Village, it turns into daylight. Details, details... When you reach
Clatos, and you are outside the entrance, she will realise that she
Stands out of the crowd (she's from the future, remember?) She will
    Give you two choices.
    (1) I will find some for you
    (2) Don't worry, it's no big deal
I would think that if you answered (1), you're AR to Iria would go
Up, and if you answered (2), it would be slightly lower. I would
Advise you to choose (1). It doesn't really matter, since you have to
Find clothes anyway. You see Ratix and Iria laughing? They are
Imagining Ronixis and Milly being in the same situation...

    Special Moves (Ougi's)
I have used Ian Kelly's guide to help me (I missed some)
    Souryuu "Sei" Raizan
This technique is a much more powerful version of the Shoureiha; the
user uses his or her sword to create a large dragon of blue energy at
the enemies to inflict massive damage.
    Who uses:
Rati: Shisei Ougi Technique [Shoureiha], MP 12
    Ashlay: LV 32, MP 16
    Suzaku "Shou" Gekiha
With this technique, the user taps the power of the Suzaku
(a legendary bird)and charges it to his sword. There are three
different forms of this technique; one is a beefed-up version of the
Shouretsuha, where the bird of energy travels in a circular motion
around the user to create a wave of force (Rati), one that is in the
form of a projectile, and one where the user jumps into the air,
turns into a Suzaku, and swoops down on the enemy. (Iria) All three
    have devastating potential.
    Who uses:
Rati: Shisei Ougi Technique [Shouretsuha], MP 14
Iria: Shisei Ougi Technique [Ryuuseishou], MP 11
    Ashlay: LV 36, MP 19
Like the Raimeiken, this technique charges the user's sword with a
powerful bolt of lightning. There are several forms of this technique
;one which causes a double hit of lightning of extremely destructive
force (Rati), or one that fires a ball of electricity in addition to
    the normal strike (Ashlay.)
    Who uses:
Rati: Shichisei Ougi Technique [Raimeiken], MP 15
    Cius: Shichisei Ougi Technique [Raimeiken]
Ashlay: Shichisei Ougi Technique [Raimeiken], MP 23
This legendary technique charges an intensely powerful energy into
the user's sword as he jumps up in the air to do a double-powered
strike many times more powerful than a normal Souhazan. Some users of
this technique will also fire incredibly damaging plasma waves upon
landing in addition to the strike. (Rati)
    Who uses:
Ratix: Shichisei Ougi Technique [Souhazan], MP 27
Cius: Shichisei Ougi Technique [Souhazan], MP 25
    Ashlay: Shichisei Ougi Technique [Souhazan]
One who wishes to use this technique must have the ultimate control
of the Dragon before they are able to use it. The user throws his
sword in the air and summons a powerful three-headed dragon who
breathes a blast of dark force on all the wielder's enemies to do
    strong darkness-based damage.
    Who uses:
Ratix: Kouryuu Ougi Technique [Kouryuuha], MP 30
Hiryuutenraiha is another of the three legendary techniques taught by
the Kouryuu Ougi, and only the most powerful swordsmen can master it.
Its form is identical to that of the Kokuryuutenraiha, except the
user summons a three-headed dragon that breathes fire upon all
    enemies to do fire damage.
    Who uses:
Ratix: Kouryuu Ougi Technique [Suzaku "Shou" Gekiha], MP 30
The final of the three techniques of the Kouryuu Ougi, this technique
Is exactly like the other two in form, but the dragon summoned with
this technique breathes a cold blast of freezing breath to do ice
damage to all enemies facing the user.
    Who uses:
Ratix: Kouryuu Ougi Technique [Souryuu "Sei" Raizan], MP 30
    Souryuu "Sei" Raiha
This technique is identical to that of the Souryuu "Sei" Raizan,
Except that the dragon wave of force is not created by the user's
sword but by a ki explosion from the user's palms
    Who uses:
Iria: Shisei Ougi Technique [Kikoushou], MP 9
    Genbu "Ha" Ouken:
The user of this technique executes a Kikoushuu, but at the same
time, summons a Genbu to come at the target from the opposite
direction, sandwiching it between two attacks to do heavy damage.
    Who uses:
Iria: Shisei Ougi Technique [Kikoushuu], MP15
    Byakko "Kou" Hadan
This technique is a powered-up version of Renkiken; the user turns
him or herself into a Byakko and charges at the enemy, doing a double
Who uses: Iria: Shisei Ougi Technique [Renkiken], MP 12
With this technique, Iria sends out a flurry of punches towards the
enemy, stunning them and hitting them multiple times for very high
Iria: Hakkeshou Ougi Technique [Genbu "Ha" Ouken], MP 18
This more powerful version of Oukahakkeshou is similar in that the
user attacks with a flurry of punches, but in addition the flurry
of punches is followed up by a slicing kick with both legs.
Iria: Uraouka Ougi Technique [Oukahakkeshou], MP 23
The user of this technique slashes his sword onto the ground,
summoning a Genbu, a legendary warrior spirit, and creates a huge
explosion that does heavy damage to enemies in a wide range.
    Who uses:
Cius: Shisei Ougi Technique [Shouretsuha], MP 16
The Byakkoshourai is a technique that turns the user into the Byakko,
A legendary white tiger, and fires a series of powerful energy bolts
from his mouth at the enemies.
    Who uses:
Cius: Shisei Ougi Technique [Shoureiha], MP 18
This technique is similar to the Souryuu "Sei" Raizan in that the
user summons the blue dragon Souryuu to fly at the enemy to do
damage; however, rather than being created through the force of the
sword, the blue dragon in this technique is born from the energy bolt
    created by the user's Senkouken.
    Who uses:
Cius: Shisei Ougi Technique [Senkouken], MP 14
    Southern Cross
With this technique, Marvel summons the power of the cross
constellation to attack all enemies facing her.
Marvel: Shichisei Ougi Technique [Flare Orb], MP 16
    Seven Star
This technique summons the power of the seven stars of the Shichisei
Ougi. With it, Marvel creates a linking set of seven stars which
damages all enemies fighting the party.
Marvel: Shichisei Ougi Technique [Hail Orb], MP 19
This technique is Marvel's most powerful that utilises that of the
Shichisei Ougi's star power; Marvel summons the power of the
universe to create a small rift that opens a doorway to a meteor
    shower, which attacks all enemies.
Marvel: Shichisei Ougi Technique [Thunder Orb], MP 26
    Sylvan Shot:
With this technique, Fear throws a flurry of her Raven Swords at the
enemy in a straight line, hitting them multiple times for lots of
Fear: Bushin Ougi Technique [3 Way], MP23
    Unholy terror
Fear jumps high up in the air, and fires four energy blasts from her
    hands down at her target.
Fear: Bushin Ougi Technique [Galaxy God Breath], MP 29
    Victory Terror
This technique is essentially the same as Unholy Terror, except that
the blasts that Fear fires are more powerful.
Fear: Bushin Ougi Technique [Unholy Terror[, MP 31
    Magical Dance
For a massive trade-off in MP, Perisie summons a host of witch-cats to
    regenerate the party's MP.
Perisie: Neko Ougi Technique [Prismic Dance], MP 60
    Jump-Punch-Somersault (JP Somersault)
Perisie jumps at her target, striking down with her claw, follows up
with a crouching slash, and finishes by doing a flip-kick in mid-air.
Perisie: Neko Ougi Technique [Nerichagi], MP 18
    Dream Combo
With this technique, Perisie pulls out a gigantic hammer and starts
pounding on her target, stunning it and doing as many as 20+ hits.
Perisie: Neko Ougi Technique [Ei! Yaa! Toh!], MP 28
This technique is essentially the same as Tinek's Senpuukon, except that Tinek
spins around his staff/spear so fast that his feet start blazing with fire,
additional fire damage to any enemies falling within range.
Tinek: Hakkeshou Ougi Technique [Senpuukon], MP 10
    Shippuu Hariken
This is Tinek's answer to Ratix's Shichiseisouhazan: he does a double
Strike with his staff/spear (albeit standing rather than jumping) and
fires a plasma beam out at his target.
Tinek: Hakkeshou Ougi Technique [Shippuukon], MP 14
Tinek's incarnation of Oukahakkeshou is different than Iria's; it is
essentially the same as a Kikoushou, only much more powerful, and
creates an explosion of cherry blossoms when it connects with its
Tinek: Hakkeshou Ougi Technique [Haoushippuukon], MP 19
Possibly Tinek's most powerful technique, with Shichiseiranbu, Tinek
Jumps towards his target, slashing his staff/spear down towards the
Enemy with blinding speed to hit multiple times for lots of damage.
Tinek: Shichisei Ougi Technique [Oukahakkeshou], MP 23

    Who uses:
    Milly: Level 13

    Fairy Light
This spell is like a much more powerful version of Cure All; it summons a
    host of

Fairy Heal would, but it can heal several thousand HP for each character.
    MP 30

    Milly: Level 42
    Raise Dead
When one of your party falls in battle, cast this spell to bring them back.
    You will

    Who uses:
    Milly: Level 46
    Fixed Cloud
This spell causes a huge cloud in the shape of a hammer and falls upon the

    Gravity Press
With this spell, the caster increases the force of gravity around an enemy so

    Ice Needle

    Wind Blade
With this spell, the caster creates a small whirlwind and directs it at the
    enemy to

    Who uses:
    Joshua: Level NA

    MP 2
    Who uses:
    Ronixis: Level NA
    Shadow Bolt

    Star Flare
This spell is similar to Explode in that it creates a huge explosion on the
battlefield, but this explosion is one of light, and consequently does
damage. This is the most powerful Light Spell.
    MP 28
    Dark Circle
This spell preys upon all of the weakened enemies facing the caster; it opens a
hole in space, sucking in all enemies that have less than a quarter of

    Special Thanks
I would like to thank Ian Kelly for helping me translate the game.
(ikelley@sas.upenn.edu) Check out his guide! I would also like to
thank GameFAQ's for accepting my guide. (www.gamefaqs.com) Also, last
but not least, I'd like to thank Enix and Tri-Ace for making, in my
    Future Developments
I dunno. Maybe I will stick to RPG's and make a Final Fantasy 7 guide
The chances of that are very low mind you. By the way. Can anyone
tell me if this is a record? I've completed Final Fantasy 7 21 times!
Please tell me if this is a record (gangel_devil@hotmail.com) Thank
