I formatted my hard drive while installing Linux from Windows. Is there any way to recover them?

There are years of info on that. How do I recover them? Can I? How do I?:

Unfortunately, with formatting, what's formatted over is gone, there's no way to recover it, that's why it's a smart idea to perform a backup, as even if you don't erase the whole disk, you still can lose data if you even resize the Windows partition, if it fails, you're left with an unusable partition. ALWAYS, ALWAYS have a backup when doing this type of stuff.
