Has anyone hooked up an external HDD yet?
If so I want to know if the save game file is native to the system memory or does it save externally? Also can items be transferred back and forth from the system to the drive?

Saves can be transferred between the Wii U and the HDD, But I'm pretty sure it will natively save to the Wii U.
