Can I transfer Wii U save data to a different Wii U console?

I ordered my Wii U Deluxe from Kmart, but they sent me the basic set in the mail. I got permission to use the basic set until the problem is fixed ("not sure when we could fix it, if we could at all" - Kmart Rep). I want to go ahead and start playing through ZombiU, but only if I know I could transfer the save file. If this is possible could someone tell me how I would do it?

Nintendo has said transferring data from one Wii U to another is not supported at this time. It will be in the future, so just hold off on playing it until you get your Deluxe set, I'd say.
Unless you were impatient, in which case you're going to have to start from square one when it comes to your Wii U game's save data (and old Wii data, saves, and VC titles if you already transferred those over to the basic system.)
